  • In this study, for improvement of pneumatic valve reliability, we grasped the falling-off problem in efficiency of domestic valve and performed detailed analysis the relating International standards, and we also decided sampling method and reliability evaluation items to be evaluated valves. And, in addition, we describe the developed evaluation standard to increase the competition power and to improve the reliability of domestic pneumatic valve manufacturers through deciding of test conditions and thesis of evaluation procedures to each evaluation items.

  • Evaluation method of seismic performance has mainly used elastic spectrum analysis. This method has simplicity of analysis but deficiency of accuracy. And evaluation method of seismic performance using inelastic dynamic analysis reflects accurately inelasticity of material but hardly reflects site effects. This study suggested evaluation scheme of seismic performance for bridge structure using capacity spectrum method applied inelastic static analysis and standard design response spectrum of Korea Standard Specification for Highway Bridge. Two results, capacity spectrum method and inelastic dynamic analysis method, are very similar. As a result, this study appropriately supply both simplicity of analysis and accuracy of result.

Comparison of Physicochemical Properties between Standard and Sow Pork

  • This study was conducted to investigate the dressing percentage and physicochemical characteristics, such as fatty acid composition, water holding capacity (WHC), shear force, meat color, cooking loss, and sensory evaluation, of experimental pork obtained from a total of 12 standard pigs and sows. The water content of tenderloin (73.38%) was the highest in standard pork (p<0.05). A statistically significant difference in crude protein content was shown between standard pork and sow pork (p<0.05). There were significant differences between standard pork and sow pork in shear forces of loin and tenderloin (p<0.01). There was a significant difference in WHC between standard pork and sow pork in loin, tenderloin, and hind legs (p<0.05). The CIE $L^*$ and CIE $b^*$ values of standard loin were significantly higher than those of sow loin (p<0.05). The CIE $a^*$ values of sow loin were significantly higher than those of standard loin (p<0.05). The contents of arachidonic acid for standard pork and sow pork were 0.33% and 0.84%, respectively (p<0.05). However, there was no difference in the total content of unsaturated fatty acid between the two groups. There were no significant differences between standard pork and sow pork after sensory evaluation, except for color and tenderness. The overall acceptability of standard pork was significantly higher than that of sow pork (p<0.05).

전류변성기 비교측정 장치의 현장 평가기술 (On-Site Evaluation Technique of Current Transformer Comparator System)

  • A recently developed methods for on-site calibration of the current transformer (CT) comparator system have been reviewed in the paper. The method utilizes several traveling standards, which consist of the CT, non-reactive standard resistors, wide ratio error CT, and shunt resistors. The traveling CT is used for absolute evaluation of a standard CT belonging to industry. The non-reactive standard resistors and a wide ratio error CT are used for the linearity check of errors in the current comparator. The shunt resistors are used for evaluation of CT burden of industry.

  • Among the Barrier Free (BF) certification evaluation items for public facilities, at which position the standard for the effective height of the stair railing handle should be calculated is not clearly determined. Because of this, not only the evaluation standards of the certification authority and the evaluation committee are different, but disputes are occurring between the ordering organization, the design company, and the construction company. Therefore, the stair railing installation standard laws for public facilities were analyzed and through a case study of institutions that obtained the BF certification, problems were analyzed. The results of problem analysis reveal the following. 1) The standards of the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport were different. 2) The effective height calculation standard was ambiguous, and disputes occurred frequently. To solve this problem, we proposed improvement plans for calculating the height of the stair railing that can comply with laws while ensuring safety.

  • 최근 바이오 정보처리의 중요성이 인식되면서 국내외 바이오 정보처리 소프트웨어 시장이 급격히 증가하고 바이오 정보처리 소프트웨어의 고신뢰성과 고품질 소프트웨어의 요구가 증대되고 있다. 바이오 정보처리 소프트웨어의 품질인증을 위해서는 평가항목 및 평가기준이 마련되어 있어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 패키지 소프트웨어의 품질요구와 시험에 관한 표준인 ISO/IEC 12119, 소프트웨어 제품평가를 위한 표준인 ISO/IEC 9126, 평가모듈의 구성을 위한 국제 표준인 ISO/IEC 14598-6을 기반으로 하여 바이오 정보처리 소프트웨어 시험을 위한 평가모듈을 개발하였다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 국내 바이오 정보처리 소프트웨어의 품질평가 방법을 확립하고 품질향상을 위한 기반을 구축하는데 활용할 수 있을 것이라 사료된다.

  • Graduates from engineering colleges are demanded to have been acquired some abilities and qualities during their undergraduate years through the standard of the so-called "programmed learning results and evaluation" This paper aims at analyzing the learning results evaluation tool for graduates from the architectural engineering department through the examples of the colleges with engineering accreditation in Korea, and suggesting a more appropriate programmed learning result evaluation tool. The basic theories on programmed learning results were studied, and then the previous study examples were researched. The study objects were limited to the fourteen colleges which offered the examples of the learning results evaluation tools of the colleges with engineering accreditation in Korea. Types and the present situation of those evaluation tools were analyzed. In addition, the proposals for the evaluation tool of programmed learning results and the performance standard were suggested for those with an engineering accreditation, based on the case study of the performance standards of each college with an engineering accreditation. The study results showed that much more national research needs to be conducted to clarify the standards of selecting an evaluation tool and a performance standard appropriate for the level of each college so that it can make a proper proposal.

  • We have carried out a collaborative study to evaluate a candidate preparation of antithrombin III concentrate whether it is suitable to serve as a Korea National Biological Standard. Three National Control Laboratories and three manufacturers participated in this study. The potency of this candidate preparation was determined by using a heparin cofactor chromogenic method described in the Minimum Requirements for Biological Products and the European Phamacopoeia.   • Some children with Cleft Palate have shown a speech disorders after repaired surgical operation. A diagnostic evaluation of speech in children with cleft palates is important in preventing speech disorders.   • To decide a reasonable investment priority of public enterprises, it is required to have an efficient evaluation standard. However, without having a standard, a budget for those enterprises has been allocated. In this research, for the efficient and reasonable budget allocation, it is discussed how to decide investment priority of information and communication enterprises of the government. In order to examine possible alternatives of the investment priority of information and communication enterprises of the government, seventeen enterprises were chosen from the enterprises of Ministry of Information and Communication. Public benefit, economic benefit, technology, politics, and step-up increase of budget were set up as evaluation standards and 16 specific standards were set up as subordinates. A hierarchical decision model was designed and analyzed by using AHP.
