The 3-D modeling of ocean finite element method(OFEM) using $k-{\varepsilon}$ turbulent model and tetrahedron grids has been used to investigate the internal wave generation during the expansion of the deep water from the open sea to the shelf with a simple shape, which can be widely used in the fields of submarine development, ocean environment and meteorology, etc. In this paper, the detailed configuration of internal wave with its length and height and also the distribution of salinity and turbulent kinematic energy, etc. were derived. It is hoped that this OFEM method can be successfully applied to the numerical calculation of internal wave for and the oceanographic problems (tidal flows around underwater hill, plateau, Georges Bank, etc.) and ocean engineering problems(flow past artificial sea reefs) in future.

By referring thirty-seven previous studies on manual material handling (MMH), this paper analyzed guidelines and main factors of one-handed tasks. The previous studies concerned main factors of distance, weight, frequency, posture, gender, age, training, direction of force, height of the force exerted, and object shape and size. Based on these factors, the criteria used to understand one-handed tasks were objective measures of maximum strength, reaction force, etc., psychophysical measures of maximum acceptable frequency and weight, etc., and physiological measures of oxygen uptake, heart rate, electromyography, etc. An allowance threshold model regarding quantitative and objective fatigue and workload would be suggested for future research. This study would be expected that it serve to establish and Korean recommendations of one-handed tasks.

FreeType is a rasterizer which is commonly used in different operating systems like Linux, android etc. Although FreeType is open source but it is not easy to add/remove modules and services etc. for developers. This paper proposes a new module for FreeType named as FreeType Outlet adapter (FOA). It enables to add/remove modules, services, functionality etc. inside FreeType. It acts as the bridge to add functions from outside FreeType to the inner core of FreeType. New font formats like METAFONT, animated fonts and customized fonts which currently are not supported by FreeType can be added with this FOA module.

In many fields, Kansei engineering, often called Human Sensibility Ergonomics, has been applied to the product development for customer's satisfaction. Also, it may use to a lot of products and environments related to human's convenient life. If the measurement and the validation of human sensibility are accomplished subjectively and qualitatively, then a good design is expected. This paper considers an application of one of the Kansei engineering's techniques, extraction and categorization of the sensory words, to the products of mobile telecommunication units. First, 1st sensory words were extracted from Korean dictionary, catalogues, pamphlets, etc. Second, 2nd sensory words were extracted from the questionnaires, elimination of synonym, advise of expert, etc. Third, final sensory words were extracted from questionnaires, etc. Fourth, ask to answer the questionnaires with the extracted words in the five-grade semantic differential. Finally, The factor analysis is used to categorize the extracted sensory words, and shows that the words can be grouped into some categories.

The purpose of this study was provide basic data for homemakers' housing notion according to unit size in apartment. This study was conducted by questionnaires that concerning about middle class homemakers whom they lived in Bundang. The results of this study were as follows; 1) In research on the homemakers' general quality, 20pyung unit size was alike 30pyung unit size and 40pyung unit size was similar to 50pyung unit size. 2) Homemakers' perception according to unit size in apartment was various; (a) 20pyungㆍ30pyung unit size-effective household space for husbands' participation, more sports facilities, parking lot space etc. (b) 40pyungㆍ50pyung unit size-homemakers' individual room, ordering and variable unit plan etc. 3) In research on the homemakers' needs, each of unit size was analogous to storage, common facility, new design and new housing form etc.

The aim of this study is to find out the changes that have happened to korea DA-BANG(tea-room). This survey was carried out from 1876 to 1997 and the subject of this study is korea DA-BANGS in Seoul. Following conclusions were obtained from this study. 1) DA-BANG came into being from Koryo ages and more DA-BANGS from 1920's. 2) DA-BANG has changed in the following order : GAEWHA DA-BAHG(that were used to meet, communicate and negotiate foreigners when out country was opening ports), MUNWHA DA-BANG(that were used cultural space for example, exhibitio, display etc.), SEANGWHAL DA-BANG(the place that used a part of living space ; meeting friends to make appointment, etc.), SANGUB DA-BANG(commercial tea-room ; the place that makes money.) 3) Considering early MUNWHA DA-BANG, we can regard the beginning of korea interior architecture as 1920's. 4) The decline of DA-BANG is due to the increase of vending machine, expensive tea, costly rent, employee's dear wages and customer's needs that pursues westernization and convenient life as well as the moodof more comfortable tea-room(for example, fresh air, agreeable mood etc.).

Throttle Control 장치는 차량의 지능화와 연료 절감의 이유로 기계식에서 전기적 신호의 연결로 구동시키는 시스템으로 발전하고 있다. 전기 전자 시스템을 도입한 ETC(Electronic Throttle Control)의 구성요소 중 필수적인 구동 원으로 DC모터를 많이 사용하고 있지만, DC모터는 정류작용 시 브러시의 스파크를 발생시키는 단점을 가진다. 이에 전기적 및 기계적 Noise가 적고 신뢰성이 높으며 수명이 긴 BLDC 모터의 개발이 필요하다. 이에 BLDC 모터의 기초 설계와 최적 설계를 통해 형상을 설계하고 이를 정자계 유한요소법을 이용하여 해석하고 목표 토크인 0.2[Nm]에 적합한 BLDC 모터를 설계하였다.

Change detection is widely used taxation, military fields, etc. In general, global change detection methods using image difference method, etc, are used in low resolution images and local change detection methods using floating windows, etc, are used in high resolution images. But, these methods have disadvantages in practical use and automatic method for changed area detection should be developed. In this research, characteristics of Kompsat images are reviewed in perspective of change detection and various change detection method applicable to are tested.

(1-X)LTC-XHTC composites were manufactured with the variation of X in the range of 0.3 $\leq$X $\leq$0.6 and its dielectric properties were investigated. Here, LTC and HTC are PZN-BT-PT -based ceramics with quire temperature(Tc) of 100。 C-3$0^{\circ}C$, respectively. 0.6HTC-0.4LTC composite ceramics show excellent values of $\Delta$$\varepsilon$$_{r}$/$\varepsilon$[%] which were -7.1% at -2$0^{\circ}C$ and -12% at 5$0^{\circ}C$, respectively. It is thought that composite ceramics with above results can be applied to electrostrictive actuator, high voltage ceramic capacitor etc.mic capacitor etc.r etc.c.
