  • 오늘날 기업 내 ERP(Enterprise Resource Planing)시스템 도입이 활발해지고 있는 가운데 그 역기능으로 ERP 시스템 도입 실패 사례 또한 증가하고 있다. 이로 인해 ERP 시스템이 올바르게 구축되었는가를 판단하는 ERP 시스템에 대한 완성도 혹은 하자여부를 판단하는 감정평가 활동이 증가하고 있다. ERP 시스템은 일반적으로 패키지 형태의 프로그램과는 달리 비즈니스 프로세스 분석 단계에서 계약의 내용이 수정 및 확정되어지며, 업종 및 국가별 비즈니스 프로세스 특성에 따라 일반화된 모듈 프레임 워크를 그대로 적용하기 어려운 점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 ERP 시스템 완성도 감정평가를 위해 국내외 ERP 시스템에 대한 기본구조와 함께 세부적인 (공통/상이)모듈에 대해 정리를 수행하고, 이를 대상으로 핵심적인 비즈니스 업무수행을 위한 세부적인 절차를 추출하고자 한다. 본 연구를 통하여 제시된 ERP 시스템 감정 절차는 ERP 시스템 감정을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다.

  • 성공적인 ERP 시스템 운영을 위해서는 체계적인 ERP 시스템 구축이 요구된다. 현재 ERP 시스템의 성공적인 구현에 대한 많은 연구들이 이루어졌지만, 이러한 연구들 대부분이 관리자를 대상으로 한 주요성공요인 차원의 접근이 이루어졌거나 또는 관리자와 최종사용자들을대상으로 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인도출에 치중되어 왔다. 실제 성공적인 ERP 시스템 구축을 위해서 구축과정에서의 관리자와 사용자간의 인식 차이는 매우 중요함에도 불구하고,이러한 인식 차이를 발견하려는 노력이 부족하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 ERP 시스템 구축 프로세스를 반영해 주요성공요인 접근을 통해 도출된 ERP 시스템 구축 요인에 대하여ERP 시스템을 도입한 중소기업을 대상으로 실증조사를 통해 관리자와 최종사용자의 구축요인에 대한 인식 차이를 분석하였다. 이러한 실증 분석 결과는 기업에서 성공적인 ERP 시스템을 구축하는데 중요한 가이드라인을 제안해 줄 것이다.

  • 일반적으로 확장 ERP라 함은 기존의 ERP 시스템에 SCM, CRM(고객관계관리), SEM(Strategic Enterprise Management) 등의 확장 솔루션이 추가 또는 통합된 개념이라고 할 수 있다. 기업의 정보시스템 구조에서 CRM과 SCM의 위치는 ERP를 중심으로 양 측면에 나란히 위치한다 물론 이들 3개 영역은 전자지불 체계와 전자상거래를 기본 인프라로 한다 이 거대한 경영수단들을 확장 ERP라는 범주 안에서 연계시키는 것은 매우 중요하며, 새로이 확장 ERP를 도입하는 기업들과 기존의 ERP 시스템에 확장 솔루션을 추가하려는 기업 모두에게 도입을 위한 전략이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 ERP의 확장 솔루션인 SCM과 CRM의 도입을 위한 전략 방안을 모색하고, 기존의 시스템과 확장 시스템을 비교 분석하여 정리한다. 이 연구에서는 여러 업체의 사례를 기초로 전략적 도입방안을 제시한다.

  • In order to improve total competitive advantages in domestic shipbuilding industry, shipyards as well as marine-parts companies achieve managerial efficiency through ERP system. But, successful ERP system implementation cases of marine-parts companies are seldom reported by characteristics of small and build-to-order industry. Therefore, this study attempts to analyze a case for ERP system implementation in marin-parts company, K Inc. Especially, this study divides ERP system implementation process into preparation stage, implement stage and settle-down and stabilization stage, and then derives critical success factors in each stage. At present, the implemented ERP system is successfully operating, ERP system improve qualitative and quantitative performance. The result of study suggests some practical implications to the manager of marine-parts companies and the manager of Informatization Programs for Small and Medium Enterprises.

  • A Previous ERP studies came up with a number of critical success factors which would be worth referencing at the time of ERP implementation. However, we have not found much work describing the relationship between ERP implementation approaches and ERP effectiveness. We are strongly confident that it is effective to show these managers 'how firms approach' would greatly influence the outcome of BRP endeavor. In this regards, this study aims to show this strong tie empirically. Especially, we are interested in showing why re-engineering efforts ought to be taken prior to or simultaneously with, the ERP implementation. Our main concern was whether BPR efforts were taken with respect to ERP implementation and what roles managers or If managers have taken with respect to both BPR and ERP. In order to Present a more detail Picture of ERP implementation in Korea's S&M enterprise, we further had an intensive case study.

An Empirical Study on the Influence of Environmental, Organizational, IS Characteristics on Successful Implementation of ERP Systems (환경, 조직, 정보시스템 특성이 ERP시스템의 성공적 구축에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증연구)

  • Recently, ERP system is used as a important tool of management innovation for enterprise's survival and development. It is very important to recognize how much influence to organizational performance through ERP system implementation. The purpose of this study is to find out the impact of environmental, organizational, information systems characteristics on successful implementation of ERP systems in Korean SMEs(Small and Medium Enterprises). From previous researches on ERP adoption and implementation, 7 independent variables (competitiveness, government support, top management support, process innovation, project management, IS maturity, and ERP customizing), and 1 dependent variables (successful implementation of ERP systems) are identified. 3 questionnaires were removed from the study because of missing or inappropriate responses, and final samples are 91 SMEs. The results of hypothesis testing show that determinants of successful implementation of ERP systems are top management support and IS maturity. Five variables such as competitiveness, government support, process innovation, project management, and ERP customizing do not significantly influence to successful implementation of ERP systems. The contribution of this study is that it provides an empirical evidence of the causal relationship between ERP adoption factor and ERP success. This study showed that top management support and IS maturity are essential to accomplish successful ERP implementation for SMEs.

  • The application of the ERP system is becoming more common to the businesses since a firm needs to reinforce positive competitiveness and to maintain competitive advantage. The ERP system is an enterprise integration solution that converts the whole business processes through information technology. Extant research provides plenty of results about the success factors of the ERP system; however, most of the researches focus on the exterior factors such as techniques rather than on the influences that a firm's employees' individual personality has in accepting the information technology of the ERP system. The objective of this study is to investigate the role of the employees' individual personality as a factor that makes the ERP system a success. The surveys--composed of the extent of information technology acceptance about the personality type of MBTI (Myers-Briggs type indicator) and the ERP system--were given to the companies applying the ERP system The personality type of MBTI is measured by 4 types of Myers, and Davis's TAM (technology acceptance model) is used for the information technology acceptance. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First the extraversion and the judging in the personality types of MBTI have a significant influence on the information technology acceptance of the ERP system. However, the thinking and the feeling in the personality types of MBTI were analyzed to not have a critical affect on the ERP system acceptance. Second as verified in the extant research the information technology acceptance verification related to the ERP system has a significant influence on perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, behavioral intention and actual usage of the ERP system. The results of this study can be used for a successful application of the ERP system as follows. First it offers foundation of perception that the type of the individual personality is a significant key figure for the successful use of the ERP system. Second it provides a basis for the knowledge of combining the model of information technology acceptance and the psychological factors.

  • ERP is a topic of currency in MIS circle. Numerous organization have developed their information systems using many kinds of ERP packages such as Oracle, SAP R/3, uniERP, etc. However, the pricing methodology of ERP systems is not yet established in a proper way. This paper attempts to investigate factors influencing the price of ERP system. Thirty eight ERP consulting firms participated in this research project. Based on the data from ERP consulting firms, price of ERP systems basically consist of package cost, consulting fee, and customizing expense. The results of this research project are finding factors affecting above three parts that consist price of ERP system. This paper found that factors influencing package price are number of modules, number of users, the degree of package reliability. The factors affecting consulting fee are the degree of project specialty, level of consultants. Finally the factors influencing customizing cost are the degree of project difficulty, project time.

  • 최근 기업에서는 기업경쟁력 강화의 일환으로 다수의 업무처리솔루션을 활용하여 업무처리의 효율성과 효과성을 제고하기 위해 노력하고 있다. ERP 시스템 또한 이러한 맥락으로 기업에서 활용하는 기업형 솔루션으로서 현재 대부분의 기업에서 이를 활용하여 업무를 처리하고 있으며 많은 연구문헌으로 그 효과가 널리 알려져 있다. 이러한 ERP 시스템은 도입이 중요한 것이 아니라, 도입후의 활용으로 효율성을 증대하는 것에 그 목적이 있다. 업무처리능력의 향상. 비용절감효과, 재고의 감소 등 실질적인 성과를 위해서는 시스템의 도입뿐만 아니라 유지보수, 시스템 교육과 같은 사후 관리가 절실히 요구된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기업의 ERP 시스템의 활용을 지원하기 위한 방안으로서 e-learning을 제안한다. 기업에서의 e-learning 활용방안에 대한 문헌은 다수 있지만, ERP 시스템의 지원을 위한 e-learning 활용방안은 부족한 현실이다. 따라서 ERP 시스템과 e-learning 시스템과의 연계모델을 제안하고, ERP 시스템 교육을 위한 방법으로서의 e-learning의 우수성을 증명하고자 한다.

  • This study analyzed the effects of job characteristics and empowerment on job satisfaction of ERP system users of small/medium manufacturing & service businesses. In the results of analysis, the detailed factors of job characteristics such as efficiency, authority delegation, and complexity were significant influence factors on ERP users' job satisfaction while the factors of empowerment such as task impact, self-determination, and task meaning had positive effects on users' job satisfaction. However, competence did not have positive effects on job satisfaction. The results of this study showed that most of the ERP system users of small/medium businesses were satisfied with their own jobs.
