This study analyzes the tasks selected and implemented by pre-service mathematics teachers to support students' development of epistemic actions. Data was collected from 20 students who participated in a mathematics education curriculum theory course during one semester, and multiple data sources were used to gather information about the microteaching sessions. The study focused on the tasks selected and demonstrated during microteaching by pre-service teachers. The results suggest that providing students with a variety of learning opportunities that engage them in different combinations of abductive and deductive epistemic actions is important. The tasks selected by pre-service teachers primarily focused on understanding concepts, calculation, and reasoning. However, the use of engineering tools may present challenges as it requires students to engage in two epistemic actions simultaneously. The study's findings can inform the development of more effective approaches to mathematics education and can guide the development of teacher training programs.

이주한 박사는 최근 세 논문들에서 다음 논제들을 옹호한다. 첫째, 일상적 표현 '믿음'은 세 가지 다른 종류의 심적 태도들을 가리키는 다의어이다. 즉 '믿음'은 불수의적 심적 성향으로서의 믿음, 수의적 심적 행위로서의 실용적 수용, 또는 수의적 심적 행위로서의 인식적 수용을 가리킨다. 둘째, 실용적 수용은 증거가 없음에도 실용적 이유에서 특정 명제를 참으로 간주하는 수의적 심적 태도인 반면 인식적 수용은 자신이 믿고 있는 명제를 그것을 거부해야 하는 비인식적 이유를 거스르면서 인식적 이유에서 증거에 따라 참으로 간주하는 수의적 심적 태도이다. 셋째, 의무론적인 인식규범이 적용되는 태도는 불수의적인 심적 성향으로서의 믿음이 아니라, 수의적인 심적 행위로서의 인식적 수용이다. 이 세 논제들은 만약 옳다면, 현대 인식론에 큰 함축을 가지는 독창적인 주장들이다. 그러나 이 논문에서 필자는 이주한 박사가 자신의 논제들을 정당화하는 데 성공적이지 않음을 주장한다.

The purpose of this paper is to make a sentence systemic within the category of structural grammar for the modality in which a speaker expresses his attitude. It is the priority of a language to communicate meaning. By eliminating the theoretical description of traditional grammar, this paper also aims to illustrate the concepts of nine modal verbs through a systemic network. The concept of modality includes both the epistemic and the deontic characteristics of modality. Epistemic modality is associated with either knowledge or belief on the part of a speaker who gives his own judgments about the state of affairs, events, or actions. However, deontic modality is related to either the possibility or the necessity of acts that a speaker performs to give permission or fulfill an obligation. In conclusion, all the subsystems are described within the framework of the systemic network, with the intention of including all the potential options of the semantic functions available in a situation.

본 연구에서는 과학 교육 문헌에서 학생들의 실행에서 행위주체성의 어떠한 측면에 주목해왔으며 이를 학습 공동체를 구성하는 행위주체의 행위로서 어떻게 탐색해왔는지 검토하였다. 그 결과, 행위주체성이 크게 다섯 가지 측면에서 논의되었다는 점을 보였다. 행위주체로서 학생들의 실행은 인식적, 변화적, 실천적 측면에서 논의되었고, 행위주체인 학생들이 상호작용하는 학문 영역과 물질의 행위주체성 또한 논의되었음을 살펴보았다. 연구 결과에서 각 측면에 주목할 때 어떠한 구조적 특성을 지닌 활동 속에서 행위주체성을 어떻게 포착하고 논의하였는지 설명하였다. 이러한 논의를 바탕으로, 공동체를 구성하는 행위주체로서의 학생들의 실행을 각 문헌에서 구체적으로 어떻게 분석했는지 검토하였다. 그 결과를 학습 공동체 전반의 행위주체성에 주목한 경우, 초점을 맞춘 한 학생이 공동체의 활동 구조에 미치는 영향에 주목한 경우, 여러 학생들 사이의 상호작용에 주목한 경우로 구분하여 살펴보았다. 각 경우에 학습과 행위주체성을 해석한 관점과 그러한 연구가 지니는 시사점을 연구 결과에서 논의하였다. 본 연구는 학생들이 학습 공동체의 주체로서 역할을 하는 모습을 탐색하고 이를 지원하려는 노력에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

이 논문의 목적은 고유수용성 감각(proprioception)이 자신의 신체와 신체적 행위(physical action)에 대해 소유감(sense of ownership)을 부여하는 것을 검토하는 데 있다. 고유수용성 감각은 외부 자극을 받아들이는 외수용기가 아닌 신체 내부의 신경조직인 내수용기에 의존하는 감각으로, 신체 부분(bodily parts)의 존재, 위치, 움직임을 아는데 있어 인식적으로 중요하다. 본고에서는 고유수용성 감각의 중요한 특징 중 하나인 일인칭성에 주목하여 슈메이커의 '오식별 오류에의 면역성Immunity to Error through Misidentification(이하 IEM)'이 고유수용성 감각에 적용할 수 있음을 논증하고자 한다. 필자는 다음 두 가지 주장을 비판적으로 검토하고 심리철학자 마르셀이 제기하는 병리적 반증사례를 차례대로 모두 격파함으로써 두 주장을 공고히 한다. 첫째, 고유수용성 감각은 내 신체와 신체적 행위에 관한 소유감을 제공한다는 점에서는 오류불가능하다. 둘째, 고유수용성 감각은 내 신체와 신체적 행위의 소유감을 위해 필수불가결하다.

After Fukushima Dai-ichi NPP accident, the need for implementation of diverse and flexible coping strategies (FLEX) became evident. However, to ensure the effectiveness of the safety strategy, it is essential to quantify the uncertainties associated with the station blackout (SBO) scenario as well as the operator actions. In this paper, a systems engineering approach for uncertainty analysis (UA) of a SBO scenario in advanced pressurized water reactor is performed. MARS-KS is used as a best estimate thermal-hydraulic code and is loosely-coupled with Dakota software which is employed to develop the uncertainty quantification framework. Furthermore, the systems engineering approach is adopted to identify the requirements, functions and physical architecture, and to develop the verification and validation plan. For the preliminary analysis, 13 uncertainty parameters are propagated through the model to evaluate the stability and convergence of the framework. The developed framework will ultimately be used to quantify the aleatory and epistemic uncertainties associated with an extended SBO accident scenario and assess the coping capability of APR1400 and the effectiveness of the implemented FLEX strategies.

The comprehension and structural modeling of masonry constructions is fundamental to safeguard the integrity of built cultural assets and intervene through adequate actions, especially in earthquake-prone regions. Despite the availability of several modeling strategies and modern computing power, modeling masonry remains a great challenge because of still demanding computational efforts, constraints in performing destructive or semi-destructive in-situ tests, and material uncertainties. This paper investigates the shear behavior of masonry walls by applying a plane-stress FE continuum model with the Modified Masonry-like Material (MMLM). Epistemic uncertainty affecting input parameters of the MMLM is considered in a probabilistic framework. After appointing a suitable probability density function to input quantities according to prior engineering knowledge, uncertainties are propagated to outputs relying on gPCE-based surrogate models to considerably speed up the forward problem-solving. The sensitivity of the response to input parameters is evaluated through the computation of Sobol' indices pointing out the parameters more worthy to be further investigated, when dealing with the seismic assessment of masonry buildings. Finally, masonry mechanical properties are calibrated in a probabilistic setting with the Bayesian approach to the inverse problem based on the available measurements obtained from the experimental load-displacement curves provided by shear compression in-situ tests.

덕인식론과 지행론의 전체적인 구도를 이해하기 위한 선행 과제로서 나는 이 글에서 덕(德)과 관련한 개념들 가운데 역량과 성품이 지적 덕성과 어떤 연관에 놓여 있는지 정리하고자 한다. 애초 이 글은 똑똑하다고 칭찬받는 사람들이 왜 나쁜 일들을 스스럼없이 저지르는가에 대한 소박한 의문에서 출발한다. 이런 의문은 윤리적인 문제일 수도, 인식론적인 주제일 수도 있다. 왜냐하면무엇을 어떻게 인식할 것인가라는 인식론적인 질문은 결국 인식론이 규범적인영역에 속하며 인식론적인 평가에서 지적인 행위자와 그 공동체를 중시해야 한다는 것을 의미하기 때문이다. 이것은 '덕인식론'의 핵심적인 관점이다. 지식의정당화에 있어서 덕인식론이 '덕성'에 초점을 맞추고 있다는 점은 동아시아 전통의 '지행론'과 닮았지만 그 문제의식은 다르다. 따라서 덕인식론과 지행론의같고 다른 점을 우선 살펴보고 "논어"를 중심으로 역량, 성품, 지적 덕성의 관계를 검토할 것이다. 이 작업에서 나는 역량과 성품이 규범적인 가치의 문맥으로 조율되지 않으면 올바른 행위를 산출하는 지적 덕성이 되기에 부족함을 말할 것이다.

지구 환경에 피해를 주는 인간행위들을 바로 잡지 못하여 생태적 재앙이 지속적으로 확대되어 갈 가능성을 줄이기 위하여, 과연 예술은 인간이 자연을 이해하고 자연과 상호작용하는 방식을 바꿀 수 있을까? 지구에서 환경적 정의와 삶의 지속가능성을 실현하는 예술적 방법론은 무엇일까? 본고는 이러한 질문들의 답을 찾아보고자 한다. 지구 환경을 바라보고 느끼고 이해하고 행동하는 방법을 찾는, 즉 지구 환경에 대한 지향의 방식을 고민하는 과정은 많은 인간적 산물이 자연을 생명의 원천이 아닌 착취의 자원으로 대했던 역사를 비판적으로 사유하게 할 것이다. 이러한 의지를 가지고 본 논문은 '환경예술 운동의 선구자'로 불리는 해리슨 스튜디오의 생태예술에 주목한다. 본론에서는 해리슨 스튜디오의 주요한 프로젝트를 분석하여 생태학적 함의와 미학적 전략을 찾는다. 특히 대화적 방법론에 초점을 둠으로써, 해리슨 스튜디오가 펼친 다양한 협업적 실천의 의의를 제시한다. 그리하여 그들이 생태예술의 가치에 대한 실제적인 경험과 이해의 폭을 확장할 수 있는 데 기여하였을 뿐만 아니라, 어떤 획일적인 교환의 규칙에 한정되지 않고 상호 간에 연결되고 중첩된 인식적 차원을 끊임없이 생산해 냄으로써 생태학적 의식의 방향성을 다시 돌아보게 하는 힘을 지니고 있음을 논증한다.
