모(母)의 로하스 라이프스타일 태도가 친환경식자재 구매 및 건강식생활에 미치는 영향 연구 (A Study of the Effects on a Healthy Dietary Life and Purchase of Environmental-Friendly Food Materials According to Mother's LOHAS Lifestyle Attitudes)

  • This study was conducted to examine the effects of a healthy dietary life and purchase of environmental-friendly food materials according to a mother's lifestyles of health and sustainability (LOHAS) attitudes. The subjects consisted of 295 mothers. The findings are summarized as follows. The mother's LOHAS attitude index averaged 3.39 points out of 5 points. High LOHAS attitude items were "I participate actively in separating the trash collection" (4.16 points), and "I recycle dresses that I do not wear by taking them to the recycling center" (4.08 points). In contrast, LOHAS attitude items for "I do community service activity on the weekend" (2.57 points), and "I try to serve in the local community" (2.63 points) scored very low. A high LOHAS behavior index occurred for mothers who were "resource saving", whereas "social welfare" scored low. Mother's intention to purchase environmental-friendly food materials averaged 3.61 points. Mother's health dietary life attitude score averaged 3.52 points. When age, monthly income, and the environmental-friendly food materials purchase ratio of the mother was high, the health dietary life performance was high. The LOHAS attitude index of mothers had an impact on the purchase intention of environmental-friendly food materials in resource saving and environmental-friendly oriented propensity groups. The LOHAS attitude index of mothers impacted healthy dietary life in environmental-friendly, family and health oriented propensity groups.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the LOHAS tendency of new seniors' and its effects on the attitude and purchase intention for environmental-friendly food materials. Data were collected through a questionnaire survey from random sample of 162 senior customers in Seoul and Kyunggi area. The LOHAS tendency of new seniors can be divided into three factors; environmental-friendly, sustainability and sociality. Environmental problems affected the environmental-friendly factor the most while manufacturing techniques for sustainable products and recycling habits were key variables for the sustainability factor. The idea of companies sharing their value system of LOHAS tendency was the most significant for the sociality factor. Each of these LOHAS tendency factors influenced the purchase intention of the new seniors.

조리사의 환경의식과 친환경태도가 식품안전추구행동에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Cook's Environmental Awareness and Eco-friendly Attitude on Food Safety Pursuit Behavior)

  • Rapid economic growth brought material affluence and convenience, but it also has caused a negative issue, such as environmental damage. Therefore, this research holds the purpose of grasping structural influencing relationship of environmental awareness of cook, which is taking an important role in food safety among workers in hotel restaurants with eco-friendly attitude and food safety pursuit behavior. To achieve the purpose, collected materials were tested for the fidelity, organic causation and control effect, using Structural Equation Modeling for frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, credibility analysis and hypothesis testing with SPSS (V23.0) and AMOS (V21.0) programs. Environmental awareness of hotel cook has causation with eco-friendly attitude, and the attitude has meaningful causation with food safety pursuit behavior. That is, it proved that cooks are taking care of their job carefully from the pre-cooking stage while most of people ignore the storing stage. The result shows not only hotel's own training session, cook's level of consciousness on the food safety and they are working with high sense of responsibility. The limitation of this research is that it only conducted with cooks of deluxe hotels in Busan, and it could not include various variables about environmental awareness. Therefore, it is expected that the lacking contents to be dealt by a follow-up study.

저장기간 및 저장온도에 따른 미생물농약 및 친환경 유기농자재 유효미생물의 밀도변동 (Population Dynamics of Effective Microorganisms in Microbial Pesticides and Environmental-friendly Organic Materials According to Storing Period and Temperature)

  • 친환경농자재의 품질관리와 관련하여 친환경 실천 농가를 대상으로 친환경농자재 선택사유, 사용방법, 선택기준, 선호 제형을 조사한 결과, 선택사유는 토양개량>병해충방제>생육촉진 순으로 나타났고, 사용방법은 구입즉시 사용하는 농가는 22.7%인 반면 보관하면서 사용하는 농가가 77.3%이었다. 시판 유통 중인 친환경제제 17종을 구입하여 구입 즉시 제제 중 미생물 농도를 조사한 결과, 친환경유가농자재(미생물제제, 토양미생물제, 친환경유기농자재) 2종은 보증 미생물 밀도가 기준치 이하로 품절 관리측면에서 문제가 있는 것으로 나타난 반면, 미생물농약으로 등록되어 사용되는 제품 중 미생물 밀도는 비교적 안정적이었다. 시판 유통 중인 친환경제제 17종을 6개월간 온도별로 저장하면서 제제 중 보증 미생물 농도를 조사한 결과, $4^{\circ}C$에 저장할 때에는 미생물농약은 1종의 액상제형 미생물제만이 기준치 이하였으며, 친환경유기농자내 8종 중 4종이 기준치 이하였다. 온도의 변화가 큰 실온에 저장할 때에는 전환경농자재는 7종 중 5종이, 미생물농약은 9종 중 4종이 기준치 이하로 나타나 $4^{\circ}C$$25^{\circ}C$의 정온 조건에 보관할 때보다는 온도가 변화되는 조건에 저장할 때 영향을 크게 받는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 미생물제제의 저장온도에 따른 미생물의 변화는 저온($5^{\circ}C$) > $25^{\circ}C$(정온) > 변온(실온) 순으로 안정적이었으며, 제형에 따른 저장성은 입제 > 액상수화제 > 액상제 순으로 우수하였다.

  • The food self-support rate on the basis of cereals in Korea is approximately 27%, which will threaten the national food security. The dramatic increase in population accompanied by rapid industrialization in developing countries has caused imbalances in the supply of food and energy. To cope with these global crises over food and energy supplies as well as environmental problems, it is urgently required to develop new environmentally friendly industrial crop varieties to be grown on marginal lands including desertification areas for sustainable development. Sweetpotato (Ipomoea batatas (L.) Lam.) ranks seventh in annual production among food crops in the world. Its wide adaptability on marginal lands and rich nutritional content provide a high potential for preventing malnutrition and enhancing food security in the developing countries. In addition, sweetpotato can be developed as a bioreactor to produce valuable industrial materials including bio-ethanol, functional feed and antioxidants by molecular breeding. In this respect, we focus on the molecular breeding of sweetpotato with multi-function on marginal lands. The strategies for development of environmentally friendly industrial sweetpotato will be introduced and discussed.

충남 초·중학생의 무상급식에 대한 인식 및 만족도에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Perception and Satisfaction of Elementary and Middle School Students on Free Food Service in Chungnam)

  • The objective of this study is to investigate the perception and satisfaction of elementary and middle school students on free school food service. We surveyed education related to school food service, concerns about food ingredients, perceptions of free school food service and satisfaction for the quality of the school food service. The investigation is classified into two groups, schools that operate as a food service center or those that do not. Those who are provided food ingredients by school food service centers are educated about the agricultural products' country-of-origin and their environment-friendly food service. The more individuals are educated of the foods' county-of-origin and environment-friendly food service the more they will have a higher concern of the food materials and subsequently a higher satisfaction for the quality of school food service. School food service centers managed directly by the local government would probably receive higher satisfaction than those consigned to a private sector. The results of this study will be meaningful to establish policies on school food service and school food service centers.

친환경농산물의 지불의사금액 분석과 그린 마케팅 전략 - 수도권 소비자를 중심으로 - (Green Marketing Strategies and Willingness to Pay for Environment-Friendly Agrieultural Products in the Metropolitan Area)

  • Foci of this thesis arc an estimation of willingness to pay and an establishment of green marketing strategics for environment-friendly agricultural products(EFAR). Estimations of willingness to pay for grain, vegetables, fruit and processed food-stuffs arc respectively 20.6%, 20.2%, 19.3% and 17.2% higher than agricultural products produced by conventional farming method. And a green mark6ting mix for EFAP is as follows; Erst, a product strategy focuses on producing safe and high-quality foods by environment-friendly agriculture(EFA) to point to consumer’s health and desire for environmental preservation. Second, in a price strategy, the balance of three factors should be kept, namely the environmental value the true quality as food materials and the price of EFAP. Third, a place strategy is to reduce waste matters, resource and energy uses in marketing chain, and to simplify marketing channels. Also, it is necessary to choose the marketing channel for price discrimination. Fourth, a promotion strategy make use of programs that emphasize the multi-function of EFA.

Functional Corrugated Board with Organic and Inorganic Materials in Food Packaging Applications: A Review

  • Corrugated board provides packaging for most diverse industries with a share of over 50%, due to the numerous advantages they offer a good protection of the products. In other hand corrugated board fails in environmental conditions, indicating that relative humidity or temperature is higher. These effects directly damage the product packaged. To overcome on this problem recently corrugated boards produced with functional material, "functional corrugated boards," have become more available in the current market. A number of commercialized forms of functional material are coated or composited products with inorganic materials, for example "Nano clay" as representative. However, although the use of functional materials is increasing in corrugated boards, the several concerns such as over cost, environmental friendly materials, recycling, and toxicity affect consumer perceptions and acceptance. In the past, number of researcher focused on process of box compression and the utility of box compression testing etc., best of our knowledge there is no review paper which focus on the functional corrugated boards used in food packaging applications. This paper aims to review the availability of functional corrugated boards in the current market, past research studies on functional material and present the current status of functional corrugated boards in leading countries.

배추좀나방 방제약제로서 후추 추출물, 카시아 오일, 라벤더 오일 함유 친환경유기농자재에 대한 급성 생태독성평가 (Acute Ecotoxicity Evaluation of Environmental-friendly Organic Agro-materials Containing Pepper Extract, Cassia Oil, Lavender Oil for Control of Diamondbackmoth)

  • 식물추출물 후추 추출물과 카시아 오일, 라벤더 오일을 이용하여 친환경유기농자재로 개발 중인 제품으로 배추좀나방 방제에 이용할 수 있는 후추 추출물+카시아 오일 57.5% (후보제형 A), 후추 추출물+카시아 오일 57% (후보제형 B), 후추 추출물+라벤더 오일 50% (후보제형 C) 유제의 생태에 대한 급성독성을 평가하여 친환경농자재 시제품으로서의 활용가능성을 확인하고자 하였다. 물벼룩 급성독성을 실시한 결과 후보제형 A 및 C 유제의 $EC_{50}$은 각 0.46, 0.25 mg $L^{-1}$로 EPA 기준으로 강한 독성이었고, 후보제형 B 유제의 $EC_{50}$는 1.9 mg $L^{-1}$로 보통독성이었다. 잉어 급성독성 시험의 경우, 후보제형 A 유제의 $LC_{50}$가 1.9 mg $L^{-1}$으로 농촌진흥청 고시에 따라 어독성 II급 농약이었으며 후보제형 B, C 유제는 2.9, 3.8 mg $L^{-1}$로 어독성 III급 농약으로 구분되었다. 꿀벌 급성독성시험은 접촉과 섭식 시험으로 나누어서 실시하였고, 후보 3종 모두 접촉과 섭식독성 $LD_{50}$가 100 ${\mu}g$ a.i $bee^{-1}$ 이상으로 나타나 독성이 낮은 것으로 판단되었다. 지렁이 급성독성시험의 경우, 후보제형 A, B 및 C 유제의 $LC_{50}$가 각각 887, 988, 564 mg $kg^{-1}$이었다. 후추 추출물+카시아 오일 57% (후보제형 B), 후추 추출물+라벤더 오일 50% (후보제형 C) 유제는 어독성 및 꿀벌 급성독성이 낮아 친환경 농자재로서 활용이 가능할 것으로 사료되었다.

바이오디젤부산물인 폐글리세롤을 이용한 친환경 가소제의 개발 (Development of an Eco-friendly Plasticizer using Crude Glycol Derived from the Biodiesel Process)

  • Objectives: The major objective is development of an eco-friendly non-phthalate plasticizer using crude glycol derived from the biodiesel process. Methods: Glycerol monolaurate(GML) was synthesized from glycol and triglyrcerides. Glycerol diacetomonolaurate(GDAL) was synthesized from GML and acetic acid. Results: The synthesis of the GDAL plasticizer was measured with nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy(NMR). Mechanical properties were measured by universal testing machine(UTM) and the experimental values were compared with phthalate plasticizers such as dioctyl phthalate(DOP). In particular, the values for tensile strength and elongations with GDAL were higher than with DOP. Conclusions: We confirmed the development of an eco-friendly non-phthalate plasticizer by NMR. Based on our results, applicability for food and drug packaging materials was found.
