The bi-directional pile load test with variable end plate overcomes the shortcoming of the Osterberg cell test. It is possible that the ultimate bearing capacity of the bi-direction can be known by using the loading of the end plate and two step procedures. The first step is to confirming end bearing capacity with variable end plate and the second step is similar to the conventional O-cell test. In the study, To calculate ultimate capacity of bi-directional load test using model with the pile with variable end plate O-cell, operated with end plate of 3 type on sand layer according to the relative density, loose, medium and dense conditions.

This paper presents the comparison of climatic environmental tests of IEC Pub. 60068 and MIL-STD-810. Cold, dry heat, change of temperature, and heat-humidity cyclic tests are compared in terms of the types of tests and test severities. This study shows the difference between the standards, which will provide the useful information to the industries and be helpful in applying the standards.

Test and Evaluation (T&E) have been verifying the level of it's technological skill and the needed operational status of the development weapons. If the overall spectrum of test and evaluation is fulfilled substantially in the production & deployment, the needed level of the weapon system will be enhanced and also the reliability status will become higher considerably. We can know currently these issues through the mass media and all kinds of the news regarding the defense industry and programs. And so this article have studied the method of enhancing reliability of the test and evaluation, the 6 variables were selected through the discussion of the professional group. The the test and evaluation group needs consistently the professional training systems. After DT&E, we have to the event to verify the technical level of the development systems. We have to take the high level of the kinds of the environmental test. Scientific methods like system engineering will be adapted in process of the test and evaluation. The number of suitable test prototype in the test and evaluation is analysed more systematically. And we need to establish the standardization of the test and evaluation. If 6 variables are well analysed and adapted in the working field, the reliability of the test and evaluation will be considerably, the defense industry will take the chance to develope the future-oriented.

본 연구에서는 소형가스터빈의 고공 및 속도시험, 환경시험 등을 수행하기 위해, 러시아의 SCIAM 연구소에 설치된 기존 대형 시험설비를 개량하여, C-9N 시험스탠드를 개발하는 과정에서 수행된 개념적 설계의 내용을 다루고 있다. 본 시험 스탠드는 환경모사 시스템, 항온유지 시스템, 냉각/건조 시스템, 추력측정 시스템, SAR 시스템으로 구성되어 있다.

A Serological test for Syphilis by VDRL Slide tests were made to find the degree of treponemal infection. For this study sera were collected from 5, 312 Prostitutes of Seoul, Inchun, Euijungbu, Yangzoo, Pajoo and Pyungtaig from November 27, to December 7, 1972 and were examined on the following items. 1. VDRL Slide Qualitative test. 2. VDRL Slide Quantitative test. As the results of this study the following Conclusions were obtained. 1) This test were obtained average reactive 5.92% for 5, 312 prostitutes in Seoul 7.87% for 254 prostitutes, in Iuchun 6.77% for 354 prostitutes, in Euijungbu 6.62% for 740 prostitutes, in Yangjoo 5.82% for 1, 958 prostitutes, in Pajoo 6.08% for 937 prostitutes and in Pyungtaig 4.82% for 1, 069 prostitutes respectively 2) The highest Reagin titer was 1: 32 serum dilution.

This research examined if job stress mediates the relationship between physical environmental risk and safety behavior of employees. In addition, we investigated whether perceived control moderates the physical environmental risk-job stress link. In order to test our hypotheses, 1005 employees in various fields of firms were participated. Using structural equation modeling(SEM), we conducted moderated mediation model analysis that elaborately test the hypotheses. The results demonstrated that job stress mediated the physical environmental risk-safety behavior link. Furthermore, the relationship between physical environmental risk and job stress was moderated by perceived control.

The purpose of this study was to analyze elementary school students' attitudes through field-experience teaming activities program for the integrated textbook on the environment issues. This study was conducted after implementing the field environmental education for fifth graders with the teaching-teaming plan applied to the field education and was based on the analysis of environment-related education for the fifth graders. A total of 64 elementary students, 32 in the experimental group and 342 in the control group, were involved in this study. The study used the instrument consisting of 36 Likert-type questions on attitudes toward environment. After going over the influences of the field environmental education program on the students, we found out the positive development in the pre-test and post-test, concerning all environmental themes, especially in the field of protection of animals, environmental pollution, and environment in general.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop an environmental education program using newspaper articles in education (NIE) and to evaluate changes in concern and practice for environmental protection after NIE. Methods: The design was a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The participants were university students in nursing, of which 31 were assigned to the experimental group and 43 to the control group. The education was carried out for 2 hr, once a week for 7 weeks. Data were analyzed with SPSS WIN 14 program, and included $x^2$ test, independent t-test, and repeated measure ANOVA. Results: NIE showed significant differences in the changes of attitude toward environment (F=4.461, p=.036). Conclusion: Findings suggest that this NIE in environmental education was effective in changing students' attitudes toward the environment. Therefore this NIE is recommended for inclusion in education for university students in nursing.

This paper summarizes the analysis of granite microfines from California for use in portland cement concrete. For reference, the granite microfines were compared to microfines used in previous International Center for Aggregates Research(ICAR) projects. The particle shape characteristics, based on the packing density results, were assessed and apparent clay content, based on the methylene blue value test, was evaluated. Also, the physical properties of the microfines were confirmed in self-consolidating mortar mixtures.
