This study investigates learners' environmental literacy, classifies the results by factors of environmental literacy, and then investigates the differences in the students' environmental behavior practice experiences according to the classification by factor. The study was conducted with 47 6th grade students from D elementary school located in P metropolitan city as the subject of final analysis, and environmental literacy questionnaires and environmental behavior practice experience questionnaires were used as the main data. As a result of the study, the learners were classified into three groups according to the factors of environmental literacy, and they were respectively named as the "High environmental literacy group", "low environmental literacy group", and "Low Function and Affectif group". A Word network was formed using the descriptions of environmental behavior practice experiences for each cluster, and a Degree Centrality Analysis was performed to visualize and then analyze. As a result of the analysis, "High environmental literacy group" was confirmed, 1) recognized the subjects of environmental action practice as individuals and families, 2) described his experience of environmental action practice in relation to all elements of environmental literacy, and had a relatively pessimistic view. "low environmental literacy group", and "Low Function and Affectif group" were confirmed 1) perceive the subject of environmental behavior practice as a relatively social problem, 2) the description of the experience of environmental behavior practice is relatively biased specific factors, and the "Low Function and Affectif group" is particularly focused on the knowledge element. And 3) it was confirmed that they were aware of climate change from a relatively optimistic perspective. Based on this conclusion, suggestions were made from the perspective of environmental education.
The purpose of this study is to investigate how much people recognise and participate in wastes recycling and to give suggestions for systematic environmental education on the recycling. Subject's recognition degree on recycling mark which had been established by The Ministry of Environment in 1995 was very low and the recycling mark should be educated because it would help people consider the environmental factor when purchase goods which are recyclable or not. They acknowledged simple recycling methods of recyclable goods much but not the complex methods of them. So they need the systematic education on recycling method through which continuous participation of them would be arisen. In the while there is no mention about recycling mark in textbooks which are currently used in Korean elementary schools, middle schools and high schools. Not only the mark but also any kind of environmental information should be updated in environmental textbooks/learning materials to cultivate students environmental literacy to meet current environmental issues dynamically and solve environmental problems in the future successfully.

This paper is studied on the concept of environmental cognition on accordance with the oriental(especially Buddhism) process of thinking. The Yeongiron(theroy : one of th most famous philosophy of Buddhism, the theory of cause and occasion) consists of the upgam-yeongi, the aroeyasik-yeongi, the chinyeo-yeongi and the pupkye-yeongi. And the concept of these theory are as follows: The conceptural elements of upgam-yeongi consist of sack(色), soo(受), sand(想), hand(行), sik(識). The elements connects with the western environmental psychology such as sack and objects, soo and stimuli, sand and perception, hand and cognition, sik and behavior. Similarly, aroeyasik-yeongi that consist of sangbun(相分), kyunbun(見分), chajungbun(自證分), chungjajungbun(證自證分) connects with objects, perception, cognition, behavior too. The chinyeo-yeongi divide into smase(三細) and yukchu(육추), the samse consist of mumyungupsang(無 明業相), nungyunsand(能見相), kyungyesand(境界相) and the yukchu consist of chisang(智相), sangsoksang(相續相), chipchisang(執取相), kyemyungjasang(計明字相), kiupsang(起業相), upgyegosang(業繫苦相). These elements are relates with the concept of western environmental psychology from objects to behavior too. Pupkye-yeongi represent a characteristic of objects itself rather than a process of environmental cognition. The aims of this study are to analysis about the contents associated with the ocean environment compared 17 special-subject textbooks to 2 common-subject textbooks, and to make some proposals for construction of contents. The results of it are as follows; 1. Only 17 books among 36 textbooks taught by the fisheries and marine high schools are contained to some contents related with ocean environment. The contents associated with the ocean environment take possession of 90%, 62% each of total pages in the textbooks, 'ocean pollution' and 'ocean environment'. 2. Of compulsory texts, namely, 'general fisheries', 'general ocean' and 'information treatment of fisheries-marine', the former 2 books are composed of 4.5%, 36.2% each relating with ocean environment. But the last one is nothing. 3. Therefore, even a little contents of ocean environment and its conservation, it is necessary to add as the reasonable rate to the characteristics of each book in 36 special-subject textbooks. 4. And also it is shown that the common-subject textbooks,'ocean science', ' earth science I' and 'earth science II', are composed of 35.7%, 10%, 16.7% each. So we'd like to recommend that the contents of ocean pollution and environmental conservation have to add more.

Objectives: This study was performed to check whether the CRS (Chemical Ranking and Scoring) system is appropriate as a method to determine substances as candidates for substances subject to permission and to apply this system to the selection of candidates for substances subject to permission. Methods: A risk score was obtained by multiplying the hazard score and the exposure score and then ranking them. The hazard sub-indicators are carcinogenicity, germ cell mutagenicity, reproductive toxicity, specific target organ toxicity-repeated exposure, respiratory sensitization and endocrine disrupting chemicals. Exposure sub-indicators are persistence, bioaccumulation and emission volume. Sensitivity analysis was performed for missing values. Correlation analysis and multivariable linear regression analysis were performed among hazard, exposure and risk in order to confirm that CRS was an appropriate method. Results: As a result of the sensitivity analysis on missing values, it was confirmed that the effect on the risk ranking was not sensitive. Correlation and regression analysis confirmed that exposure had a greater effect on risk than hazard. Conclusions: The CRS system, which derives a risk score using a hazard and exposure score, is judged to be appropriate as a method for the selection of preliminary of candidates for substances subject to permission. Benzene, cadmium, nickel, and cobalt were selected as priority candidates for substances subject to permission.
This research aims to improve the environmental education for elementary student's education program. That let environmental education be connected to other curriculum with a compunction enhancement plan to the internal volume side of environmental education, and grope for activation of compunction environmental education with curriculum necessary paradigm conversion of education for continuance possibility in green education. In case of legal and system, improving of legal and system by establishment of the environmental education act for system repair and source of revenue preparation of environmental education is needed. Based on importance of teaching-education and evaluation, it must be developed various teaching-education ways of environmental education in case of curriculum and an improvement of teaching-education ways and evaluation must be performed. After teaching-education about environmental education has been executed, a teaching-education improvement must be performed by evaluation.
Since the effect of environmental education at class using textbooks or materials related to environment is limited, the importance of activities for field experience is getting increased day by day. Thereby, the education tends to change into the type of education providing students with direct environmental experience. Students attending the science high school have excellent aptitude and ability for science and will lead the development of science in the future. Now it is urgent to develop various experiential programs which are helpful for them to establish desirable values on environment. However, the field of environmental education that allows science high school students equipped with ample environmental knowledge to improve environment sensitivity and have proper environment awareness is quite restricted as of now. Natural exploration activities are the programs which provide science high school students having lack of chance for environmental education with good opportunities to contact nature and also play significant roles in arousing their interest in issues related with environment. Therefore, it is thought that they will let science high school students explore the natural features of Korea, understand the importance of preserving environment and ecosystem profoundly, and encourage environmental awareness and will of environmental practice. Thereupon, with the study subjects of 121 first and second graders at U Science High School, this article analyzed their recognition of the necessity for environmental education and environmental pollution problems before and after the natural exploration activities, and conducted a survey on their satisfaction after the natural exploration activities and analyzed it. The result of this research is as follows. First, it was shown that the natural exploration activities were effective to raise the science high school students' awareness of issues related with environmental pollution. Second, the natural exploration activities had effect upon enhancing the students' willingness of environmental practice. Third, there was statistically significant correlation between the science high school students' satisfaction with the natural exploration activities and their achievement in the science subject. Fourth, there also was a statistically non or weakness significant correlation between their satisfaction with the natural exploration activities and preference for the science subject. In particular, it was found that students preferring biology indicated higher satisfaction.
The purpose of study is to provide fundamental data for the improvement of the teacher inservice training for environmental education through analysis of current inservice training programmes. The subject of analysis are documents on training programmes which was conducted after 2000 by 10 training organizations. Based on the results of this study, inservice training programmes is classified with 6 organizations which consist of education training institute, education & scientific research institute, national · public organizations, colleges of an attached organizations, civil organizations, teacher research society. The strategies for improvement of proposed in this study can be summarized as follows: First,'60 hours training programmes for general competencies improvement of environmental teacher' have to reconsider about scarcity areas to analysis of programmes. Second, this training programmes need to establish in training programmes of nothing region for increase in training opportunity of teachers. Third,'the core training programmes'is continued to be complementing about this programmes and need to establish about training programmes of teaching method of environmental education, environmentally value and attitude, etc
Nowadays environmental education is getting important. So, it is necessary to teach for students to realize the protection environment. Therefore, in this study, environmental teaming was planned and practiced for high school 'Ecology & environment' class by e-PBL. Self-directed teaming, collaborative teaming and performance assessment are emphasized in the 7th educational curriculum. The PBL is efficient learning model for them. This study designed for a teaching and teaming method and strategies using PBL based upon the theories and practices. This study will also develop an e-learning. As a result, it is indicated that the teaching and learning method using PBL has the positive effects on learning that the development of self-directed learning and collaboration teaming Is observed by reflect journal and presentation of students. e-PBL is a teaming model for learning-centered that adapted many school and subject. Therefore e-PBL makes full use of be 'Ecology & environment' class and environmental education.
The 7th national curriculum for environmental education in elementary and secondary school focuses on consideration of learner's ability, learner's activities, and learner's region of everyday life. The contents of environmental education are scattered subjects in elementary schools and an independent subject as 'Environment'in middle school and 'Environment and Ecology'in high school of the second school. With upgrading of schools, the aims and activities of environmental learning move up from value-centered, through activity-oriented and to cognition-centered.
