벼논에서 자동 챔버와 수동 챔버를 이용한 CH4 배출량 비교 (Comparison of CH4 Emission between Auto Chamber and Manual Chamber in the Rice Paddy)

  • The chamber method is widely used for measuring methane emission from paddy rice fields. The closed static chamber has advantages of easy installation and removal in the field and low manufacturing cost. However, the manual chamber method requires a lot of labor and has a limited sampling time and frequency. To overcome the disadvantages of the manual chamber, the auto-chamber system is used for measuring methane emission. We compared the differences in methane flux between the auto-chamber and manual chamber. To investigate methane emissions by the two methods, a chamber was installed for each of the following treatments : control without rice straw (NA), spring plowing after autumn rice straw application (SPRA) and autumn plowing after autumn rice straw application (APRA). The total methane emission was lowest in the control and highest in APRA with both methods. There was no significant difference in total methane emission between the methods, but dynamic fluctuation in methane with temperature change was accurately measured in the auto-chamber. Measuring methane emission with an auto-chamber system is expected to reduce uncertainty and increase accuracy, accompanied by labor reduction.

  • Domestic distribution environment in Korea has rapidly and qualitatively been developed due to the open of distribution market. However, the function of commercial establishment goes beyond the place value that simple transaction of capacity takes place, and it is recognized as life groove space enhancing the satisfaction of costumers' purchasing pattern. For this reason, there has been the need to change the purchasing environment of commercial space. The change factors of commercial space contributed to the establishment of consumption identity formed by change of consumers' lifestyle and the purchasing pattern. It is necessary to see the change factors of the purchasing pattern as the conversion of distribution environment in terms of supplier and as the change of consumers' lifestyle in terms of consumers. In reality, however, the commercial facility ill-imitated the advanced model and qualitatively was developed. In this situation, the change of the purchasing pattern according to the conversion of facility is needed as an early stage. The purpose of this study is to analyze the overflow supply of commercial facility. Also It will discuss the plan characteristics of commercial space conversion of facility conforming to the change of the purchasing pattern that is predicted in the lifestyle on a conversion stage of facility.

기후변화와 대기환경의 통합적 관리에 대한 고찰 (A Review of the Integrated Strategy for Climate Change and Air Pollution Management)

  • The unequivocal risk of climate change, the weakness of energy security, and the problem of air quality will be possibly accelerated by the same reason, the enhanced fossil fuel dependancy in the future. It is obvious that greenhouse gases and air pollutants are mainly emitted from same sources. Moreover, greenhouse gases and air pollutants have their adversed impacts on same socio-economical, and environmental sectors. With these regards, several but limited studies have emphasized on the importance of the integrated management of climate change and air quality problem. In this study, we address the current trend of energy consumption and the change of air quality condition. Also the related policies are checked out in order to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases and air pollutants in Korea. By surveying previous studies, it is shown that the cost of climate change actions can be reduced by air quality co-benefits and vis-a-versa. Also the integrated strategy for climate change and air quality is introduced in term of cost-effectiveness and co-benefit.

환경친화 공동주택에 대한 전문가인식 변화 연구 (Perception of the Professionals for the Environment-Friendly Apartments)

  • This study was intended to examine the change in the perception of the professionals for the environment-friendly apartments. After result of implementing the question survey against the professionals two times, the degree of importance in the environment-friendly design elements didn't show any significant change. However, it showed the degree of maturity on the concept of environment-friendly development is widely spreaded in terms of social, economic and environmental aspects. Based on the description of such results, the conclusion can be deduced as follow; 1) Presumably it would require 5 years for the diffusion of the concept of environment-friendly apartments and 10 years for the construction of developing its materialization and settlement respectively, 2) The proper density would be designed in $150{\sim}200%$ in view of the environmental and economic aspects. 3) It is necessary to change the existing system into the District Unit oriented planning & design method in order to apply the environmental design elements in smooth manner.

풍향에 따른 건물군에서의 열환경 변화 (Change of thermal environment in buildings by wind direction)

  • In recent years, the quality of the outdoor thermal environment has come to be regarded as important as that of the indoor thermal environment. Since the outdoor thermal environment is composed of many elements and is affected by many factors, it is not easy to evaluate the impact of each factor separately. Hence, a comprehensive assessment method is required. In order to evaluate the pedestrian level comfort of an outdoor climate, it is necessary to investigate not only wind velocity but also various physical elements, such as temperature, moisture, radiation, etc. Prediction of wind and thermal environment for a large scale buildings is one of the most important targets for research. Wind and thermal change in a city area is a very complicated phenomenon affected by many physical processes. The purpose of this study is to develop a design plan for wind environment at a large Buildings. In this study, we analyze outdoor wind environment and thermal environment on buildings using the CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) method. The arrangement of building models is an apartment in Jeonju. These prediction of wind and thermal environment for a large scale buildings is necessary in a plan before a building is built.

  • The long-term perception investigation of environment is needed for the persistence of each country's policy on climate change, which is greatly influenced by external factors. Long term data on perception and attitudes of people's thought can be a big data point for climate change and consistent policies can be implemented with the need for public demand. Information on the perception of the general public regarding the environment should be carried out as a basis for the national environmental policy.

사용환경의 변화에 대한 최적예방교환정책 (Optimal Preventive Replacement Policies for a Change of Operational Environment)

  • The failure rate of an item depends on operational environment. When an item has a chance failure period and a wearout failure period in sequel, the severity of operational environment causes the increase in the slop of wearout failure rate or the increase in the magnitude of chance failure rate. For such a change of operational environment, this paper concerns the change of optimal preventive replacement time. Two preventive replacement policies, age replacement policy and periodic replacement policy with minimal repair, are considered. Investigated properties are: (a) in age replacement policy, optimal preventive replacement time increases as the chance failure rate increases and optimal preventive replacement time decreases as the slope of wearout failure rate increases, and (b) in periodic replacement policy with minimal repair, optimal preventive replacement time increases as the slope of wearout failure rate increases; however, the change of chance failure rate does not alter the optimal preventive replacement time.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the geological environment changes of tidal flat in the Hampyeong Bay. Especially, it centers on the changes in the sedimentary environment using remote sensing data. Multi-temporal Landsat data were used in this study. Remote sensing methods can be effectively applied for quantitative analysis of geological environment changes in tidal flat.

동양학에서 명리학과 육효학의 환경변화도 예측 분석연구 (Environment variability predictive analysis of Myeongri Study and Yookhyo Study in Oriental studies)

  • 기존의 환경변화 예측연구에서는 동양학을 적용한 연구가 대부분이였다. 특히 명리학만 적용하여 환경변화 예측을 연구하였다. 이 두 학문을 적용하여 환경변화 예측연구를 하여온 경우는 없다. 그래서 본 연구는 명리학과 육효학을 적용하여 환경변화 예측의 정확성에 대하여 연구하고자 한다. 연구방법은 2012년 8월부터 12월까지 직장인을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석한 결과를 살펴보면 두 학문을 분리해서 하는 경우 보다는 동시에 같이 했을 때 환경변화 예측이 더 정확하였다. 응답자의 일반적 특성에 따른 관계의 평균과 표준편차는 높았다. 환경변화도의 영역별은 평균이 높을수록 좋은 결과가 유사한 차이로 나타났다. 따라서 환경변화도에 대한 예측의 효율성이 증대하였음을 판단된다.
