A Study on Removal Request of Exposed Personal Information (노출된 개인정보의 삭제 요청에 관한 연구)

  • Although online search engine service provide a convenient means to search for information on the World Wide Web, it also poses a risk of disclosing privacy. Regardless of such risk, most of users are neither aware of their personal information being exposed on search results nor how to redress the issue by requesting removal of information. According to the 2015 parliamentary inspection of government offices, many government agencies were criticized for mishandling of personal information and its leakage on online search engine such as Google. Considering the fact that the personal information leakage via online search engine has drawn the attention at the government level, the online search engine and privacy issue needs to be rectified. This paper, by examining current online search engines, studies the degree of personal information exposure on online search results and its underlying issues. Lastly, based on research result, the paper provides a sound policy and direction to the removal of exposed personal information with respect to search engine service provider and user respectively.

  • Currently, people use game engines which is consist of essential elements(Graphic engine, Physics engine, Audio engine, UI system, Gameplay frameworks, etc) to develop video. This game engine is used for its own development, but usually it is used by renting a commercial engine. To be able to use such a game engine requires a lot of theoretical and functional education, but in a limited period of university education, it is impossible to deal with various game engines in game art colleges, not general engineering universities. This paper will compare and analyze the characteristics, and merits and demerits of these two kinds of Game engines (Unity and Unreal engine), and showed the result of analyses about the fact that educating which of the above 2 Game engines are helpful and beneficial for the students for the efficient education in the Art college where should teach much in the limited time.

  • Most cars today use electronic control to control the state of the engine to achieve optimum performance. This study developed a device for maintaining fault diagnosis and optimal vehicle status by displaying the engine information of a car on the screen in real time using can communication. This system displays information generated from the engine to the driver in real time such as engine intake and exhaust temperature, current battery voltage, tire pressure, RPM, DPF collection amount, torque, and horsepower through the OBD2 socket. You can check immediately. It can help you to drive safely by measuring tire pressure and displaying it on the screen, and it provides a mode to set the shift timing to suit your taste. In particular, in the case of diesel engine cars, the problems caused by smoke can adversely affect the performance and environmental pollution. Therefore, the system was developed to display the DPF collection amount on the system screen to prevent environmental pollution and to manage the vehicle efficiently.

  • Recently, although there are strong requirements to manage multimedia data, there are a few researches on efficient storage and retrieval of multimedia data. In this paper, we design an object storage engine which can store and retrieve various multimedia objects efficiently. For this, we design an object manager for storing a variety of multimedia data and an inverted file manager for indexing unformatted text objects. In addition, we implement the objects storage engine which can support concurrency control and recovery schemes of DBMS by integrating the object manager and the inverted file manager with the SHORE low-level storage system. Finally, we develope a TIROS(Thesis Information Retrieval using Object Storage engine) system in order to verify the usefulness of our object storage engine.

The 2D Measurement of Soot Diameter and Number Density in a Diesel Engine Using Laser Induced Methods

  • It is necessary to diagnose accurately the characteristics of soot formation and oxidation in a diesel engine. Whereas past measurement techniques for soot concentration give limited information for soot, laser-based two-dimensional imaging diagnostics have a potential to provide temporally and spatially superior resolved measurements of the soot distribution. The technique using laser sheet beam has been applied to an optically accessible diesel engine for the quantitative measurement of soot. The results provided the information for reduction of soot from the diesel engine. Both LIS (Laser Induced Scattering) and LII (Laser Induced Incandescence) techniques were used simultaneously in this study. The images of LIS and LII showed the quantitative distribution of the soot concentration in the diesel engine. In this study, several results were obtained by the simultaneous measurements of LIS and LII technique. The diameter and number density of soot in combustion chamber of the test engine were obtained from ATDC 20 degree to 110 degree. The soot diameter increased about 37% between ATDC 20 degree and 110 degree. The number density of soot, however, decreased significantly between ATDC 40 degree and 70 degree.

The study on the retrieval effectiveness of meta-search engine on the internet (인터넷상의 메타탐색엔진의 검색효율성 비교연구)

  • This study was intended to compare the effectiveness of the Savvy search and Metacrawler in terms of the total number of relevant documents retrieved, precision, recall, and the number of deadlines. In addition, this study measured whether the Meta-search engine and general web search engines retrieved different web documents. As a result, Savvy search produced a higher precision and recall as compared with motacrawler search engine while the metacrawler had lower deadlines ration than savvy search, Also, Meta search engine was more effective than the general web search engine, The results show that the hybrid methodology of integrating a variety of web search engines can help solve retrieval effectiveness problems on the Internet.

  • This paper presents a structural health monitoring method of aircraft reciprocating engine using Principal Component Analysis (PCA) which analyzes vibration expressed by Averaged Normalized Power Spectral Density (ANPSD). Because ANPSD of the rotating shaft is sensitive to the rotating speed, this paper proposes to use a post-processing method of ANPSD is used to reduce the sensitivity. The PCA extracts compressed information from the post-processed ANPSDs and the information means the difference between current and normal cases of the engine. The experimental results demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method to detect abnormal cases of the engine.

  • The Most Serious Engine Faults Are Those That Occur Within The Engine. Traditional Engine Fault Diagnosis Is Highly Dependent On The Engineer'S Technical Skills And Has A High Failure Rate. Neural Networks And Support Vector Machine Were Proposed For Use In A Diagnosis Model. In This Paper, Noisy Sound From Faulty Engines Was Represented By The Mel Frequency Cepstrum Coefficients, Zero Crossing Rate, Mean Square And Fundamental Frequency Features, Are Used In The Hidden Markov Model For Diagnosis. Our Experimental Results Indicate That The Proposed Method Performs The Diagnosis With A High Accuracy Rate Of About 98% For All Eight Fault Types.

  • 엔진 부조(engine hesitation)의 원인을 추적함에 있어 가장 효과적인 점검방법 중의 하나가 엔진파워 밸런스(engine power balance)를 점검하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 공회전 상태에서 4개의 실린더 폭발의 압력 편차로 인한 엔진 부조를 점검하기 위해 엔진 파워 밸런스를 점검하는 방법을 사용한다. 엔진의 부조는 네 개의 실린더의 회전 밸런스가 틀어졌기 때문이므로 실린더의 회전 밸런스 정보를 수집 분석하는 방법이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 실린더의 엔진 회전수를 계산하기 위해 OBD-II와 무선 시스템인 블루투스 모듈을 이용하여 실시간으로 CKP 센서 정보를 수집하는 방법과 밸런스가 틀어진 실린더를 찾는 알고리즘을 제시하여 엔진 파워 밸런스를 조절 관리하는 시스템을 스마트 폰에 구현하고자한다.

Low Cost Hardware Engine of Atomic Pipeline Broadcast Based on Processing Node Status (프로세서 노드 상황을 고려하는 저비용 파이프라인 브로드캐스트 하드웨어 엔진)

  • This paper presents a low cost hardware message passing engine of enhanced atomic pipelined broadcast based on processing node status. In this algorithm, the previous atomic pipelined broadcast algorithm is modified to reduce the waiting time until next broadcast communication. For this, the processor change the transmission order of processing nodes based on the nodes' communication channel. Also, the hardware message passing engine architecture of the proposed algorithm is modified to be adopted to multi-core processor. The synthesized logic area of the proposed hardware message passing engine was reduced by about 16%, compared by the pre-existing hardware message passing engine.
