정상체중여성과 비만여성에게 시행한 운동 프로그램의 효과 비교 (Comparison of the Effects of an Exercise Program in Non-obese and Obese Women)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the effects of an exercise program on physical fitness, obesity indices, and blood lipids in cases of non-obese and obese women. Method: Data was collected from May, 2006 to November, 2006 in a public health center. All Subjects(37 women) participated in an exercise program that consisted of Latin dance, muscular strength training, and dumbbell exercises. Thirty-seven women were divided into two groups(16 non-obese women and 21 obese women) by %body fat. After 8 weeks, the effects of treatment were compared between pre-test and post-test in each group. Results: Physical fitness(abdominal muscle strength, muscle endurance, flexibility, agility, balance) was significantly different between the pre-test and post-test in the non-obese and obese group. Obesity indices(body weight, BMI) was significantly different in obese women after the 8-week exercise program. There was no decrease of blood lipids in either group. Conclusion: These findings indicate that an exercise program could be an effective nursing intervention to increase physical fitness in non-obese and obese women and to decrease obesity indices(body weight, BMI) in obese women.

다중운동 프로그램이 만성 요통 환자의 통증 강도, 몸통 근력 및 오스웨스트리 장애지수에 미치는 영향 (Effects of a Multi-modal Exercise Program on Pain Intensity, Trunk Muscle Strength, and Oswestry Disability Index in Patients with Chronic Low Back Pain)

  • Background: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of a multi-modal exercise program for patients with chronic low back with respect to pain intensity, trunk muscle strength and Oswestry disability index. Methods: Thirty patients with chronic low back pain were recruited and divided equally into two groups. The multi-modal training program comprised a series of exercises such as warm-up, stabilization exercises, stretching, endurance exercises, and cool down whereas the control group performed only stabilization exercises. The both group spent an equal amount of time performing 60 minutes per day, three times per week, for five weeks. Results: The experimental group demonstrated statistically significant improvements in range of motion, trunk muscle strength, the visual analogue scale, and the Oswestry Disability Index (p<.05). Intergroup comparison showed a statistically significant difference in the range of motion of the lumbar spine and the degree of disability in the experimental group. Muscle strength and pain were statistically significant in both groups. Conclusion: The multi-modal exercise program is effective for patients with chronic low back pain, as it reduces lower back pain, increases trunk muscles strength, and decrease the potential for becoming disabled.

육상선수들의 트래드밀운동 전 ${\cdot}$ 후 Blood Lactate, LDH, Glucose의 비교 분석 (Comparative Analysis of the Pre-Post a Treadmill Exercise on the Blood Lactate, LDH and Glucose in the Runners)

  • The purpose of this study was to the Pre-Post submaximal exercise for analyze the Blood Lactate, LDH(Lactate Dehydrogenase) and Glucose in the runners. The subjects were 12 volunteers 6 sprinters and 6 distance runners who agreed to intention of this study. Subjects peformed until possible all-out trials. Blood samples were taken from a Ante cubital vein Pre-Post exercise and every rest 5min during the all-out trial. The results obtained were summarized as follow; 1) Blood Lactate of Pre-Post exercise in treadmill test showed no significant difference between sprinters and distance runners, but showed significant in sprinters and distance respectively. 2) Serum LDH of Pre-Post exercise in treadmill test showed no significant difference between sprinters and distance runners, and that showed no significant in sprinters and distance respectively. 3) Blood Glucose of Pre-Post exercise in treadmill test showed no significant difference between sprinters and distance runners, and showed no significant in distance, but showed significant in sprinters. These data indicate first that the value of 4mmol/${\ell}$, commonly referred to as OBLA(Onset of Blood Lactate),may often underestimate the upper limit of tolerance to lactate during a maximal endurance peformance test until all-out. second, our date suggested that the sprinters exercise decreases serum LDH activities and the distance increases serum LDH activities. therefore serum LDH concentration changed following a different exercise. Third. for the concentration of the glucose in blood the sprinters was show to be higher. However it needs more studies to find out the relationship between this result and the fitness factor. therefor, since the runners has an intermittent characteristic which includes a frequent momentary change, it needs the fitness training that being consisted of various training. in the training method, it needs the training process which is from the whole fitness to specific fitness to improve general physical ability.

혼합곡 식이의 지구력 향상 효과 (Improving Effects of Multigrain Feed on Endurance)

  • 본 연구에서는 4주간 혼합곡 식이를 공급하여 treadmill을 통한 운동시간과 glycogen 저장능력 변화를 관찰함으로써 지구력 개선에 대한 평가를 하였다. 7주령 SD rats은 정상군 (Nor, 정상식이, n=6), 대조군(Con, 20% 정상식이+80% milled rice, n=6), GI(혼합곡 식이 I, n=6), GII(혼합곡 식이 II, n=6), GIII(혼합곡 III, n=6)와 GIV(혼합곡 식이 IV, n=6)으로 임의 군배정을 하였다. 지구력 시험은 24일간의 적응훈련과 혼합곡 식이 공급을 한 후 실시하였다. 운동 지속시간과 glycogen 저장능력은 혼합곡 식이 공급에 의해서 증가하였다. 더욱이 25 min 운동 그리고/또는 탈진 시까지의 운동 후에서 혈액 내 무기질 인, CPK와 lactate의 농도는 혼합곡 투여에 의하여 감소하였으나, GOP, GTP, lactate LDH의 농도는 군간 차이는 보이지 않았다. 본 연구에서는 4주간의 혼합곡 식이가 운동 지속 시간과 glycogen 장 능력이 증가되었으며, 피로물질인 무기질 인, CPK와 lactate의 농도가 감소시킴으로써 지구력 개선에 도움을 줄 것으로 생각된다.

지역사회 뇌졸중 환자를 위한 순환식 집단 운동프로그램의 효과 (Effect of a Weekly Circuit-Group Exercise Program on Community-Living Individuals With Chronic Stroke)

  • This study aimed to evaluate the effect of a weekly circuit-group exercise program on functional performance, flexibility of the trunk and lower extremities, and balance in individuals with chronic stroke who are living in a community. Thirteen community-living individuals (eleven males and two females) with chronic stroke participated in this study. The group exercise program was set up as a weekly circuit application with four stations aiming to strengthen the muscles, increase endurance, improve flexibility, and enhance functional capacity. The average duration of a session was an hour, and the sessions were conducted once a week for six months for a total of 24 sessions. Assessments for functional performance, flexibility of the trunk and lower extremities and balance were conducted four times: before treatment, after one month of treatment, after four months of treatment, and after six months of treatment. There were significant improvements in functional performance and flexibility of the trunk and lower extremities in the given time frame. No significant improvement was observed in balance ability. The findings suggest that a weekly circuit-group exercise program has some benefits in terms of managing the physical symptoms of individuals with mobility problems after stroke. Therefore, this program can be adapted and employed as a community-based rehabilitation program for such patients. Further studies with various community-based treatments will be conducted to validate these findings.

운동이 노화로 인한 골격근의 생리적 변화에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Exercise on the Physiological Changes of Aging Skeletal Muscle)

  • The decrease of muscle power and muscle size between twenties and seventies was about 30% and 40% respectively. The loss of muscle mass by aging resulted in the decrease of muscle power. The loss of muscle mass was due to the decrease of number of Type I fiber and Type II fiber and size of each muscle fiber. The aging skeletal muscle didn't show the loss of glycolysis capacity but showed 20% decrease of the oxidative enzymes and muscle vascularization. The vigorous endurance exercise training with graded intensity played a role in the vascular proliferation, increase of activity of oxidative enzymes and improvement of $VO_2$ max. The graded resistance exercise also played a role in the muscle hypertrophy and increase of muscle power, if it performed with adequate intensity and period. The exercise adaptation of aging skeletal muscle prevented it from sarcopenia, provided the activity of daily living with great effect and provided the aging related disease, that is Type II diabetes mellitus, arteriosclerosis, hypertension, osteoporosis and obesity, with great effect.

지구성 운동과 셀레니움 투여가 당뇨 Goto-kakizaki 쥐의 골격근의 MCT1과 MCT4단백질 발현수준에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Exercise Training and Selenium on MCT1 and MCT4 Protein Levels in Skeletal Muscles of Diabetic Goto-Kakizaki Rats)

  • 이 연구는 지구성 운동과 셀레니움 투여가 Coto-Kakizaki 쥐의 젖산수송 능력에 독립적으로 혹은 상호작용하여 영향을 미치는가를 구명하는데 그 목적이 있다. 실험동물들의 집단은 비교집단(n=10, SED), 지구성 운동집단(n=10, EXER), 셀레니움 투여집단(n=10, SELE)과 지구성 운동과 셀레니움 투여 병행 집단(n=10, COMBI)으로 분류하여 6주간 실험을 실시하였다. 6주간 실험 처치 후 체중은 비교집단에 비해 지구성 운동집단, 셀레니움 투여집단과 지구성 운동과 셀레니움 투여 병행 집단이 현저하게 감소하였으며 당 부하검사를 실시한 결과에서도 비교집단에 비해 지구성 운동집단, 셀레니움 투여집단과 지구성 운동과 셀레니움 투여 병행 집단이 90분과 120분 사이에서 혈당 수준이 유의한 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 간 글리코겐 수준은 비교집단과 셀레니움 투여집단에 비해 지구성 운동집단과 지구성 운동과 셀레니움 투여 병행 집단이 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 가자미근과 족저근의 글리코겐 수준도 비교집단과 셀레니움 투여집단에 비해 지구성 운동집단과 지구성 운동과 셀레니움 투여 병행 집단이 현저하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 혈액 생화학 성분의 경우, 지구성 운동집단, 셀레니움 투여집단과 지구성 운동과 셀레니움 투여 병행 집단이 비교집단에 비해 고밀도 지단백 수준 증가와 함께 혈장 젖산, 혈청 중성지방, 인슐린, 총 콜레스테롤과 HOMA-IR 수준이 현저하게 감소한 것으로 나타났다. 특히 혈청 중성지방 수준은 지구성 운동집단과 지구성 운동과 셀레니움 투여 병행 집단이 셀레니움 투여집단에 비해 유의하게 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구에 가장 중요한 결과는 혈당과 젖산 수송과 관련된 단백질 발현 수준이 6주간의 실험처치 후에 지구성 운동집단, 셀레니움 투여집단과 지구성 운동과 셀레니움 투여 병행 집단이 비교집단에 비해 가자미근의 MCT1과 미토콘드리아 MCT1 단백질 발현수준이 현저하게 증가하였다는 결과와 함께 가자미근과 족저근의 MCT4 단백질 발현 수준도 지구성 운동집단, 셀레니움 투여집단과 지구성 운동과 셀레니움 투여 병행 집단이 비교집단에 비해 현저하게 증가하였다는 결과이다. 이러한 결과를 근거로 볼 때 지구성 운동과 셀레니움 투여는 독립적으로 혹은 상호작용하여 혈당과 젖산수송 능력을 개선시키는데 도움이 된다는 것을 알 수 있으며 특히 인슐린 저항 특성과 함께 고젖산혈증을 나타내는 제 II형 당뇨 환자들의 당뇨 처치를 위한 방법으로 활용할 만한 가치가 있는 것으로 생각된다.

The Effect of Complex Training of Middle School Soccer Players on Body Composition, Basic Physical Strength and Movement Function

  • This study conducted 8 weeks of foam roller & mobility, core, and weight training for 9 middle school soccer players 5 times a week for 90 minutes to determine the effect on changes in body composition, thigh circumference, basic physical strength, and functional movement. To analyze the data according to the results of this study, SPSS 25.0 statistical program was used for analysis, and the mean (M) and standard deviation (SD) were calculated to present the descriptive statistics of all dependent variables. In addition, to analyze the difference between before and after exercise, it was verified using a paired t test. The statistical significance level (α) in all reasoning statistics was set to less than 5%. As a result, there were no significant changes in body composition and thigh circumference through 8 weeks of training. However, there were significant changes in agility and muscular endurance, and the total score for functional movement changes was significantly increased, and statistically significant changes were observed in three variables. Therefore, complex training is effective in changing the physical strength and functional movement of middle school soccer players, and further research will be required for a control group and various complex exercises.

홍삼 섭취가 유.무산소성 운동수행능력과 중추 및 말초피로에 미치는 영향 (Effects of red ginseng supplementation on aerobic.anaerobic performance, central and peripheral fatigue)

  • 본 연구는 8주간의 홍삼 투여가 중추피로 및 말초피로에 미치는 영향과 홍삼 투여와 지구성 트레이닝을 병행 했을 경우, 홍삼이 유 무산소성 운동수행능력에 미치는 영향을 관찰하였다. 그 결과 홍삼 섭취와 지구성 트레이닝을 병행하는 것이 홍삼 섭취와 지구성 트레이닝을 단독으로 적용하는 것 보다 유산소성 운동수행능력과 말초피로에 높은 효과를 기대할 수 있으며, 홍삼의 섭취가 중추피로에도 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것으로 기대된다. 하지만, 무산소성 운동수행능력에는 큰 영향을 주지 못하는 것으로 생각된다. 이에, 본 연구를 통해 검증된 홍삼의 피로회복 및 운동수행능력 향상 효과는 추후 일반인뿐만 아니라 운동선수의 운동능력향상 보조물(Ergogenic aid)로써 도움을 줄 것으로 기대된다.

  • 알츠하이머 질환은 신경퇴행성질환으로 노령인구에서 뿐만 아니라 $30{\sim}60$세 사이에서도 상염색체성우성형으로 발생하여 사회문제로 대두되고 있으며 발병기전도 명확하게 규명되지 않은 상태이다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 hAPP695sw 돌연변이를 neuron-specific enolase (NSE) 유전자의 프로모터 조절 하에 연결시킨 융합 유전자(pNSE/APP695sw fusion gene)를 과 발현시킨 알츠하이머 질환 모델생쥐를 대상으로 16주간 지구성 운동에 따른 알츠하이머 질환 모델생쥐의 인지능력의 변화와 주병변인 $A{\beta}-42$ 단백질과 함께 GLUT-1, BDNF, HSP-70 단백질의 발현량을 분석하였다. 그 결과 지구성 운동은 APPsw 알츠하이머 질환 모델생쥐의 인지능력을 개선시키는데 긍정적인 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났으며 이러한 인지능력의 개선은 알츠하이머 질환의 주 병변인 뇌의 $A{\beta}-42$ 감소뿐만 아니라 BDNF, GLUT-1과 HSP-70 단백질의 발현 증가와 관련이 있음을 확인하였다. 따라서 지구성 운동은 약물 처치 이외에 알츠하이머 질환을 예방하거나 지연시킬 수 있는 전략적인 방법으로 활용할 수 있음을 알 수 있다.
