The purpose of this study is to derive evaluation elements on teen space in public libraries in Korea and to study current status and implications for teen space in public libraries. To this end, six items of space evaluation factors; Convenience, Accessibility, Safety, Diversity, Comfort and Emotionality - were derived based on the teen space guidelines by the Young Adult Library Service Association and previous studies. The research also conducted a case study on teen spaces of five public libraries in Seoul. As a result, teen space in libraries requires use guidance and convenience facilities, access to information resources, maintenance of user guidelines, various spaces for teens, pleasant library environment and learning motivation promotion, and provision space to support all necessary resources of teens.

The Internet of Things (IoT) paradigm is at the forefront of present and future research activities. The huge amount of sensing data from IoT devices needing to be processed is increasing dramatically in volume, variety, and velocity. In response, cloud computing was involved in handling the challenges of collecting, storing, and processing jobs. The fog computing technology is a model that is used to support cloud computing by implementing pre-processing jobs close to the end-user for realizing low latency, less power consumption in the cloud side, and high scalability. However, it may be that some resources in fog computing networks are not suitable for some kind of jobs, or the number of requests increases outside capacity. So, it is more efficient to decrease sending jobs to the cloud. Hence some other fog resources are idle, and it is better to be federated rather than forwarding them to the cloud server. Obviously, this issue affects the performance of the fog environment when dealing with big data applications or applications that are sensitive to time processing. This research aims to build a fog topology job scheduling (FTJS) to schedule the incoming jobs which are generated from the IoT devices and discover all available fog nodes with their capabilities. Also, the fog topology job placement algorithm is introduced to deploy jobs into appropriate resources in the network effectively. Finally, by comparing our result with the state-of-art first come first serve (FCFS) scheduling technique, the overall execution time is reduced significantly by approximately 20%, the energy consumption in the cloud side is reduced by 18%.

This study aims to propose a planning direction based on the results of domestic case studies and expert advice as a basic research to establish a specific implementation model for kindergarten education space in response to changes in future society and future education by escaping from the issues and facility limitations of existing kindergarten education space. To this end, it is intended to contribute to the positive effect of future education policies by being used as basic data for building specific implementation models through review of the 'Nuri' course, domestic case analysis, and revision of specific standards for kindergarten facility planning. The main research results were case analysis and advisory consultations to derive facility standards and planning directions divided into layout plans, general classrooms, support facilities, public spaces, and external spaces, and a process for identifying and systematizing space-influencing factors based on the facility standards derived in this basic study is needed hereafter.

Most cultural contents currently we face are not suitable for associating with state of arts and high technology as simply providing one-sided learning. Pictures and movies of cultural contents also sees to utilize for efficacy of cultural education. There are still some limitations to draw interest from users when providing one-sided learning for cultural study, which aims to only deliver knowledge itself. In this paper, we propose interactive HMD VR cultural contents that can support more experience to get rid of aforementioned limitations. To this end, we first select quite interesting and wellknown cultural contents from world wide to draw more attention and effect. To increase immersion, presence and interactivity we have used HMD VR and Leapmotion, which intentionally draws more attention to increase interest. The cultural contents also facilitate augmented information as well as puzzle gaming components. To verify, we have carried out a user study as well.
The desired level for multimedia services in the mobile web environment, the next generation web environment, is expected to be of PC level quality. And great efforts have been made in the development of hadware technology, communication technology, various kinds of services and standardization to support these services, In the mobile web environment, multimedia contents adaptation services should be available through supporting various kinds of devices, network abilities and users' preferences. It means that due to the variety of both desired devices' hardware specifications, called destinations, and desired QoSes, the QoSes in the destinations are not fixed or defined. If a new user wants to stream multimedia contents in a server through a new kind of terminal device, it should be considered whether the existing transcoders are able to adapt the multimedia contents. However, the existing libraries for multimedia adaptation have heavy transcoder figures which include all adaptive functions in one library, The challenge of universal access is too complex to be solved with these all in one solutions. Therefore, in this paper we propose an application independent multimedia adaptation framework which meets the QoS of new and varied mobile devices. This framework is composed of a group of unit transcoders having only one transcoding function respectively, Instead of heavy transcoders. Also, It includes the transcoder manager supporting the dynamic connections of the unit transcoders in order to satisfy end to end QoS.

The purpose of this study is to suggest ways to improve medical librarians' educational programs to improve domestic medical library user services. To this end, the role of medical librarians was investigated, and the education areas were itemized, and then the MLA in the US and the KMLA in Korea were compared and analyzed. As a result, the improvement points for medical librarian education programs in Korea are: First, expansion of certification programs that select various types of education programs, education areas, education contents, and specialized fields, collaboration programs with related institutions, and education programs that advocate the value of KMLA are required. Second, there is a need for various educational programs in the current educational areas, such as 'research support service' and 'education/education design/consultation'. In particular, it is necessary to provide 'consumer health information service' and 'disaster information service' for which there is no education at all. In addition, it is necessary to precede the establishment of regulations on the domestic medical librarian education curriculum for the education of various 'information services in the field related to medicine'. Third, it is necessary to provide online education contents for librarians who have difficulty participating in face-to-face education.

Recently, as user demand to receive various information through one integrated institution has increased, "Larchiveum," which integrates the functions and services of archives, libraries, and museums, has been established. Thus, web information services are provided in an integrated manner through the Larchiveum website. This study attempted to analyze the information services on the Larchiveum website in detail. To this end, the researchers developed a web information service evaluation index reflecting the characteristics of Larchiveum that are differentiated from information services offered by websites of general archives, libraries, and museums. Recognizing the importance of evaluation indicators, the researchers developed evaluation indicators, and an evaluation of the three institutions' websites was conducted. The assessment showed that the currently operating Larchiveum website provides ample basic business introduction and interface navigation, but the use of search results in the information search area was insufficient. Complementary points were presented in these areas, and measures that would be effective if additionally operated were also suggested. This research sought to provide practical assistance in configuring and providing web services for the newly established Larchiveum in hopes that the evaluation indicators used in this study will be applied, supplemented, and utilized well in the future.
In the new web based learning environment which has recently emerged, a variety of new learning objectives and teaching methods suited to this learning environment have been adopted. Recently, web based project-based learning methods have received a great deal of attention from those wishing to improve learning performance. The objective of this study is to identify the impact of characteristics of communication media and instruction behavior on collaborative interaction and project performance through web based group projects. The characteristics of communication media were divided into richness, flexibility, and ease of use, and the characteristics of instruction behavior were divided into support and expression, which are independent variables. Collaborative interaction as a mediate variable, was divided into information sharing and negotiation. Project performance was the dependent variable. To verify the proposed research model empirically, an experiment was conducted in which learners participated in on-line and off-line courses with group projects. The group project was conducted virtual product development(VPD), and designed a web-site about the VPD. At the end of the project, a survey was conducted. Of the 270 students, 239 responded. The students were assigned to groups of 3 or 4 members, and represented different genders and levels of computer competence. The reliability, validity, and correlation of research variables were analyzed using SPSS 14.0, and the measurement model and the structural goodness-of-fit of the research model were verified through SEM analysis using Lisrel 8.54. We found important results as follows; First, richness and ease of use has positive impacts on each of sharing information and negotiation. This suggests that richness and ease of use are useful in sharing information which is related to the task and agreeing in opinions among group members. However, flexibility has not positive impacts on sharing information and negotiation. This implies that there is no great difference in performance of PC and information literacy of user. Second, support and expression of instructor have positive impacts on sharing information and negotiation. This indicates that instructors play an important role in encouraging learners to participate in the project and communicating with them, sharing information related to the project, making a resonable decision and finally leading them to improve a project performance. Third, collaborative interaction has a positive impact on project performance. This result shows that if the ability to share information and negotiate among students was improved then a project performance would be improved as well. Recently, in the state of revitalized web based learning, it is opportune that web-based group project is practically conducted, and the impact of characteristics of communication media and characteristics of instruction behavior on sharing information, negotiating among group members and improving a project performance is verified. On the basis of these results, we propose that forms of learning, such as web based project, could be one of solution which is to enforce interaction among learners, and ultimately improve learning performance. Moreover web-based group project is able to make up for a weakness which makes it difficult to make interpersonal relations or friendship among learners in computer mediated communication or web based learning.

IOV is a technology that supports one or more virtual desktops, and can share a single physical device. In general, the virtual desktop uses the virtual IO devices which are provided by virtualization SW, using SW emulation technology. Virtual desktops that use the IO devices based on SW emulation have a problem in which service quality and performance are declining. Also, they cannot support the high-end application operations such as 3D-based CAD and game applications. In this paper, we propose a physical network separation system using Virtual Desktop Service based on HW direct assignments to overcome these problems. The proposed system provides independent desktops that are used to access the intranet or internet using server virtualization technology in a physical desktop computer for the user. In addition, this system can also support a network separation without network performance degradation caused by inspection of the network packet for logical network separations and additional installations of the desktop for physical network separations.
Because of the spread of smartphones due to the development of information and communication technology, online shopping mall services can be used on computers and mobile devices. As a result, the number of users using the online shopping mall service increases rapidly, and the types of products traded are also growing. Therefore, to maximize profits, companies need to provide information that may interest users. To this end, the recommendation system presents necessary information or products to the user based on the user's past behavioral data or behavioral purchase records. Representative overseas companies that currently provide recommendation services include Netflix, Amazon, and YouTube. These companies support users' purchase decisions by recommending products to users using ratings, purchase records, and clickstream data that users give to the items. In addition, users refer to the ratings left by other users about the product before buying a product. Most users tend to provide ratings only to products they are satisfied with, and the higher the rating, the higher the purchase intention. And recently, e-commerce sites have provided users with the ability to vote on whether product reviews are helpful. Through this, the user makes a purchase decision by referring to reviews and ratings of products judged to be beneficial. Therefore, in this study, the correlation between the product rating and the helpful information of the review is identified. The valuable data of the evaluation is reflected in the recommendation system to check the recommendation performance. In addition, we want to compare the results of skipping all the ratings in the traditional collaborative filtering technique with the recommended performance results that reflect only the 4 and 5 ratings. For this purpose, electronic product data collected from Amazon was used in this study, and the experimental results confirmed a correlation between ratings and review usefulness information. In addition, as a result of comparing the recommendation performance by reflecting all the ratings and only the 4 and 5 points in the recommendation system, the recommendation performance of remembering only the 4 and 5 points in the recommendation system was higher. In addition, as a result of reflecting review usefulness information in the recommendation system, it was confirmed that the more valuable the review, the higher the recommendation performance. Therefore, these experimental results are expected to improve the performance of personalized recommendation services in the future and provide implications for e-commerce sites.
