It was mathematically analyzed at which steps to activate TTI in the cold chain for Alaska pollack, assuming that the performance of a commercial TTI product, and Fresh-check, could not always be optimized for the pollack. Three places were selected for the TTI activation, such as on fishing ship, Busan cooperative fish market, and mart. First, the kinetic and Arrhenius temperature dependent models were experimentally built under isothermal conditions. The color index of TTI and the level of Pseudomonas spp. of pollack were measured at time intervals. Second, the resultant models were used in the mathematical calculations for dynamic temperature conditions included in the cold chain. As a result, the TTI activated at the mart place showed the best agreement between the spoilage time of the pollack and the time for the TTI color to reach its end-point. It was therefore found that it is practically important to optimally select the TTI activation place or time when using a commercial TTI product.

The mega frame system is becoming popular for the design and construction of skyscrapers because this system exhibits structural efficiency by allowing high rigidity of the structure while minimizing the amount of structural materials to be used. Since the mega frame system is usually adopted for super high-rise buildings, the comfort of occupants may be main concerns in the practical application of this system. For the enhancement of the serviceability of mega frame structures, a semi-active tuned mass damper (STMD) is developed in this study. To this end, a Magnetorheological (MR) damper is employed replacing passive damper as a semi-active damper to improve the control effect of a conventional TMD. Since a conventional finite element model of mega frame structures has significant numbers of DOFs, numerical simulation for investigation of control performances of a STMD is impossible by using the full-order model. Therefore, a reduced-order system using minimal DOFs, which can accurately represent the dynamic behavior of a mega frame structure, is proposed in this study through the matrix condensation technique To improve the efficiency of the matrix condensation technique, multi-level matrix condensation technique is proposed using the structural characteristics of mega frame structures. The efficiency and accuracy of the reduced-order control proposed in this study and the control performance of a STMD were verified using example structures.

Digestion of a municipal wastewater sludge by the anaerobic sequencing batch reactor(ASBR) was investigated to evaluate the performance of the ASBR process at a critical condition of high-solids-content feed. The reactors were operated at an HRT of 10 days with an equivalent loading rate of 0.8-1.5 gVS/L/d at $35^{\circ}C.$ The main conclusions drawn from this study were as follows: 1. Digestion of a municipal wastewater sludge was possible using the ASBR in spite of high concentration of settleable solids in the sludge. The ASBRS with 3- and 4-day cycle period showed almost identical high digestion performances. 2. No adverse effect on digestion stability was observed in the ASBRS in spite of withdrawal and replenishment of $30\%\;or\;40\%$ of liquid contents. A conventional anaerobic digester could be easily converted to the ASBR without any stability problem. 3. Flotation thickening occurred in thicken step of the ASBRS throughout steady state, and floating bed volume at the end of thicken period occupied about $70\%$ of the working volume of the reactor. Efficiency of flotation thickening in the ASBRS could be comparable to that of additional gravity thickening of a completely mixed digester. 4. Solids were accumulated rapidly in the ASBR during start-up period. Solids concentrations in the ASBRS were 2.6 times higher than that in the completely mixed control reactor at steady state. Dehydrogenase activity had a strong correlation with the solids concentration. Dehydrogenase activity of the digested sludge in the ASBR was 2.9 times higher than that of the sludge in the control reactor, and about 25 times higher than that of the subnatant in the ASBR. 5. Remarkable increase in equivalent gas production of $52\%$ was observed at the ASBRS compared with the control reactor in spite of similar Quality of clarified effluent from the ASBRS and control reactor. The increase in gas production from the ASBRS was believed to be combined results of accumulation of microorganisms, higher driving force applied, and additional long-term degradation of organics continuously accumulated.

A total of 96 piglets were weaned at 19 and 13 days in Exp. 1 and 2, respectively, and allotted to one of four diets: three with different spray dried plasmas (SPs) and one with hydrolysed casein (HC). SPs were from pigs (SPP), mixed origin (SMP), and mixed origin with standardized level of immunoglobulins (SMPIG). All the diets contained 1.7% total lysine, 25% of the test protein source, 45% corn starch, 15% lactose, 2% sucrose, 7% soybean oil. At d 4 and d 2 in Exp. 1 and 2, respectively, piglets were perorally challenged with $10^{10}$ CFU E. coli K88. Growth performance, immunity, and health condition were measured for 15 days and 14 days in Exp. 1 and 2, respectively. To investigate apparent ileal digestibility and nutrient deposition, all piglets were sacrificed at d 14 in Exp. 2. In 1. 3 piglets died in HC diet and 1 in SPP diet. HC diet showed higher mortality (p<0.01) than other diets. In Exp. 2, no clinical sign of infection was detected, no difference for the content of E. coli K88 was found in feces at 4 and 6 days after the infection, and no E. coli K88 was found in the jejunum at the end of experiment. In both experiments, feed intake was lower for HC diet and ADG was 96, 106, 122 and 155 for HC, SPP, SMP and SMPIG diet, respectively (HC vs others, p<0.05; SMPIG vs other SP, p<0.01). Heal apparent digestibility of nitrogen in sacrificed piglets was higher for HC diet (p<0.05). After the challenge, K88-specific titers in saliva (Exp. 1) and in plasma (Exp. 2) were reduced in SMP and SMPIG. The piglets positive to the adhesion of the used E. coli strain to the intestinal brush borders had a significantly reduced growth (p<0.01) and a higher K88-specific IgA titer in plasma, in comparison with negative ones. This effect was independent of the diet. The data show the relevance of spray dried plasma sources and particularly of SP with standardized level of immunoglobulins for the feeding of early-weaned at the risk of infection by enterotoxigenic bacteria.

Background: Locally advanced head and neck cancer is generally incurable and has a short survival rate. This study aimed to evaluate symptom relief, disease response, and acute toxicity after palliative hypo-fractionated radiotherapy and long-term survival in affected patients. Materials and Methods: Between January 2011 to December 2011, 80 patients who were histopathologically diagnosed as having stage III or stage IV head and neck squamous cell carcinoma based on Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) performance status 1-3, were offered palliative radiotherapy (20 Gy/5Fr/5 Days). Later these patients were evaluated on 30th day after completion of treatment for disease response based on World Health Organisation (WHO) criteria and palliation of symptoms using symptomatic response grading and acute toxicities by the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG). Many patients were given post radiation therapy (RT) palliative chemotherapy for appropriate palliative care and a few patients were selected for further curative RT. The overall survival was also evaluated among this group of patients with last follow up date of 1st May, 2014. Results: The most common presenting complaint was pain followed by dysphagia. Most patients (60-70%) had appreciable relief in their presenting symptoms. A good response was observed in the majority following palliative RT; a few patients had progressive disease and some had stable and regressed disease. None of the patients experienced radiation toxicity that required hospital admission. Almost all showed grade one and two acute skin and mucosal toxicity one month after completion of treatment. The mean survival days for patients given only hypofractionated palliative RT was 307 days, those with post palliative RT and palliative chemotherapy was 390 days and patients who went on to receive further palliative RT and curative RT dose had significantly overall survival of 582 days. Conclusions: Advanced head and neck cancer should be identified for suitable palliative hypofractionated radiotherapy to achieve acceptable symptom relief in a great proportion of patients and should be followed by palliative chemotherapy or curative RT in suitable cases for long-term symptom-free survival.

The purpose of this study is to categorize the types of sidewalk cafes, and to evaluate design factors with types of sidewalk cafes for street revitalization. Consequently, it may suggest efficient and systemic policies for the guidelines of sidewalk cafes. To ensure this end, the types of sidewalk cafes were categorized from the street relationship perspective by site investigation. A literature review and importance analysis were used to select the evaluation criteria, and the data were analyzed by statistic methods such as descriptive analysis and factor analysis. As a result, five main factors of the evaluation criteria were contracted: accessibility, aesthetics, identity, environmental, culturedness. Cumulative factor loading of these five factors was 68.731%, which was quite high. And the evaluation using the Likert scale was performed by 4 experts. Types of sidewalk cafes were categorized into 5 types: protruding, gating, blending stereoscopic, elevation angle, and sign provision from the street relationship perspective. On the evaluation by type, aesthetics and culturedness were the worst evaluated in the protruding type and the gating type, culturedness was the worst in the blending stereoscopic type, accessibility, aesthetics, culturedness were the worst in the elevation angle type, and accessibility, identity, culturedness were the worst in the sign provision type. On the evaluation by the indicators, culturedness was the worst evaluated, and on the evaluation by criteria, 'safety for impaired persons', 'interest of programs', 'openness of entrance' were the worst. It is recommended that a survey of importance-performance analysis focused on users be conducted.

Work and family are two major fields of one's life. In the past, the role of each gender has been separated, and there was no conflict between two fields. However, the increasing rate of working woman and the mode of social change that the male has also responsible of caring family and individuals has more interested in their personal life make consider these two fields as a whole. A number of studies have shown that OCB contribute in important ways to organizational functioning and performance. Whereas citizenship behavior may affect organizations in several positive ways, it is also possible that engaging in such behaviors could have negative consequences for the employees who do so. There may be other personal costs such as work-family conflict that accrue to individuals who engage in high levels of citizenship behavior. The purpose of this study is to investigate the moderating effect of the SOC strategy and Family Friendly Atmosphere on the negative effects of OCB on Work-Family Conflict. Questionnaire data were collected from 590 in different jobs. According to the result of empirical analysis, it proved that the more OCB effect on the more Work-Family Conflict. it also was found that the SOC strategy and Family Friendly Atmosphere moderate the relation between OCB and Work-Family Conflict. At the end of the paper, theoretical and managerial implications of this study, future research directions are discussed.

A feeding trial was carried out to Investigate the effect of lipid level and herb mixture in the diets on growth of juvenile parrot fish, Oplegnathus fasciatus. Two plicate groups of fish averaging 4.5 g were fed four experimental diets containing herb mixture (0 and 5 g/kg diet) at each of two lipid levels $(8\%\;and\;16\%)$ for 8 months from summer to spring (water temperature, $7.2-25.4^{\circ}C)$. Weight gain improved with increasing dietary lipid level or supplementation of herb mixture during the first 4 months feeding period. Weight gain of fish fed the diet containing $16\%$ lipid level was significantly higher (P<0.05) than that of fish fed the diet containing $8\%$ lipid level. Weight gain of fish fed the diet with herb mixture was significantly higher (P<0.05) than that of fish fed the diet without herb at the $16\%$ lipid level. Feed efficiency was influenced by dietary lipid level or herb mixture during the first 4 months. On the other hand, weight gain and feed efficiency were not affected by dietary lipid level and herb mixture after 4 months until end of feeing period. Survival of fish fed the diet containing $8\%$ lipid without supplementation of herb mixture was the lowest among the groups (P<0.05). Lipid contents of liver and viscera tended to increase with increasing dietary lipid level during the first 4 months feeding period, however muscle lipid content was not influenced by dietary lipid and herb. Total cholesterol of serum was influenced by dietary lipid level during the first 4 months feeding period. These results indicate that an increase of dietary lipid level from $8\%\;to\;16\%$ and supplementation of herb mixture can improve growth performance of juvenile parrot fish when water temperature is optimum for growth such as the summer season in Korea.

Among various clean energy technologies, the solar energy technology has been widely used in various fields such as photovoltaic power generation and solar water/space heating. These days, special attention is drawn on its conversion into acoustic energy along with waste heat as a means to promote clean energy utilization. This work was carried out to investigate the possibility of converting solar energy into acoustic waves, especially, its performance characteristics for a single resonance tube (20.2 mm in ID). Variations are made for the stack length and its position as well as power supply. For a resonance tube of 200mm, an average sound pressure of 114.5 dB was measured with a stack length of 25.6mm at 5cm from the closed end. When the power supply was increased to 35W, an average sound pressure of 117.29 dB was detected with a frequency of 500Hz. There was an increase in frequency, 630 Hz (115.7dB), with a shorter resonance tube of 150mm.
