The employment permit system for foreigners, which stresses introduction of foreign work force in a legal manner rather than in the position of being trainees, is anticipated to efficiently improve introduction and the overall management system of foreign work force and related difficulties such as illegal alien problems, absurdity on sending laborers overseas. In this paper, a prospective model of supply and demand of work force has been developed basing on various categories of industries and patterns about nationally practical foreign employees to look over efficient supply and demand of work force suiting employment of foreigner among foreign work force policies. To propose the prospective model, we have derived industry- and pattern-related matrixes of foreign laborers basing on Inter-Industry Analysis Method put forth by Professor Leontiyef in 1930, and through the derived matrix assessed repercussions concerning overall domestic industries and foreigner types and decided yearly weight; the capacity of supply and demand of foreign laborers can be compared through proposed statistical estimation and government estimation by combining the determined weight with yearly incomes of foreign laborers. This paper has thoroughly considered the particularity of our employment permit system for foreigners and applied the Weibull distribution and incorporated the dependence of foreign laborers during the limited period of 3 years to the industry relation analysis, ultimately proposing an efficient supply and demand method about domestic foreign work force.
This study explored a typology (or time allocation), investigated personal and work characteristic differences among time allocation types, and identified determinants of time allocation types of married working women with a preschool child. The data source for this research was the 2014 Time Use Survey conducted by Statistics Korea. We analyzed 368 time diaries (184 for weekdays and 184 for weekends) using frequency, mean, cluster analysis, chisquare, analysis of variance (ANOVA), Duncan's test, and multinomial logistic analysis. The results of this research are as follows. Time allocation of married working women with a preschool child was classified into three different types of 'work-centered,' 'work-family balanced,' and 'family-centered.' The work-centered type accounted for 14.7% of total respondents, and compared with other types, this type of people spent more time working, and less time doing house-work, caring for family, and having leisure. The work-family balanced type represents more than half of the total, and spend more time working on weekdays and house-working, having leisure on weekends. The family-centered type represents 28.8%, and spends most of the time doing house-work and caring for family on both weekdays and weekends. Occupation, employment status, monthly income, and weekly hours of work were different for each type. Occupation, employment status, perception of lack of time, health condition, and weekly hours of work were identified as determinants for each type.
This research was to examine the effects of downsizing kitchen employees in a hotel on their job efficiency and to verify differences in the individuals' behavior characteristics according to DISC behavior types in this causal relationship. Through SPSS 17.0 program, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted on 200 samples secured for an empirical research. Two factors for the downsizing items and two factors for the items related to job attitude were extracted. Hypothesis 1 was that the downsizing within a hotel has significant negative (-) effects on job attitude. As a result of the verification, it was found that downsizing had significantly negative effects on the job attitude of cooking employees as factors for organizational commitment in employment circumstances (${\beta}$=-.256), and employment anxiety (${\beta}$=-.258), and as factors for job satisfaction in employment circumstances (${\beta}$=-.319), and employment anxiety (${\beta}$=-.174). Hypothesis 2 was that the downsizing according to DISC behavior types has significant negative (-) effects on job attitude. As a result of the verification, it was found that in the organizational commitment factors, the dominance type (D) was more influenced by employment anxiety (${\beta}$=-.435) than by any other types, and the conscientiousness type (C) was not influenced by organizational commitment. In the job satisfaction factors, the steadiness type (S) was more influenced by the changes in employment circumstances (${\beta}$=-.414) than by other types, and the dominance type (D) was not influenced. Based on the results of this research, it can be said that hotel's downsizing strategies influence job attitude such as organizational commitment and job satisfaction of cooking employees, and that there are differences in the influences according to the individuals' behavior types of kitchen employees.

Data provided by 182 small and medium-sized owners in Seoul A area were analyzed using latent profile analysis and logistic regression. As a result of the analysis, first, it was confirmed that the number of workers and the employment of the elderly were the factors that increased the probability of the elderly employment plans. Second, it was found that the "high-level group of necessary support services" is more likely to have plans to hire the elderly compared to other groups. This study was designed to assess the perception and use of weaning diets and to serve as a guideline of processed weaning diets through a survey focused on the Gwangju-Jeonnam regions. The following results were obtained. Most subjects mixed 'home-made' and 'commercial' weaning diets and considered weaning diets as 'a diet for supplementing insufficient nutrition'. The most frequently used type of weaning diet was 'a kind of gruel with vegetables or meat', followed by 'boiling powder with water' and 'grinding or crushing fruits'. Two thirds (68%) of subjects had experienced buying weaning diets, mainly a powder type. The most common reason to buy weaning diets was 'troublesome', followed by 'excellent nutrition', 'convenient to go out', and 'don't know how to make'. The following results according to factors were found. The types of provided and of weaning diets were significantly different by age; the understanding of weaning diets, by education and mothers' employment; and where to get information about weaning diets, by economic status. The highest request for developing weaning diets was a type of 'powder' and 'gruel', and the highest cooking type was 'adding boiling water', followed by 'a semi-cooking product' and 'a finished product'. 'Retort pouch' package, a 'single' package unit, and 'keeping cold' were also requested by the participants. A desirable package unit in developing weaning diets was significantly different by mother's employment; the cooking type of product, by economic status; a way to keep product, by mother's employment; and package types, by education and economic status. When weaning diets were made by environmentally friendly agriculture, 69.5% of subjects were willing to purchase them. With the increase in economic status, education, and employment rate, the use of weaning diets on the market will increase. For this reason, correct nutrition education is needed. With the increasing demand for environmentally friendly agriculture, a variety of weaning diets should be developed to meet this demand.

And also, this paper is to analyze employment conditions and difficulties of the discharged soldiers and suggest to establish a institute of tentatively named 'Korean Civil Military Enterprise' in terms of the Government and the Department of Defense. This civil military enterprise is to plan and manage military projects, to research and develop drill manuals and military doctrines and policies and to evaluate and manage the military training. As a pattern of civil military enterprises, three types of Military Support, Military Consulting and Military Provider are presented. Using the 1st and 7th waves of KEEP(Korea Education and Employment Panel), this study explores the relationships among 212 participants' characteristics during high school, experience of taking English-mediated subject courses(EMSC) during college, career decision types, and employment status. These students' high school experiences and college experiences were used to predict the log-odds of taking and the understanding EMSC. Results of the analysis showed that none of high school characteristics such as career decision, English private education experience, interest in English, and their scholastic aptitude test score in English were associated with taking and understanding EMSC. Among college experience variables, only female students' level of understanding English subject courses was statistically significantly higher than that of male students. There were statistically significant positive associations between the understanding the EMSC and the number of the EMSC taken and also between the understanding of the EMSC and perceived usefulness of the EMSC. There was also a statistically significant relationship between career types (continuing with graduate studies vs. working) and taking EMSC, but the relationship between career types and understanding the EMSC was not statistically significant. In addition, the relationship between the experience of taking EMSC and employment status was not statistically significant.
