호텔기업에서 고용관계특성과 직무몰입의 관계에 대한 고용형태의 조절효과 (Moderating Effect of Employment Types in the Relationships between Employment Relations Characteristics and Job Involvement in Hotel Corporations)

  • 최근 사상초유의 글로벌 금융위기를 맞아 고용환경은 급변하고 있으며, 비정규직 근로자의 비중은 나날이 증가하고 있어 고용시장 전체가 비정규직 바다를 이루고 있다. 이에 비정규직이 정규직에 비해 갖는 낮은 고용보장성 등의 고용관계특성은 직무에 대한 만족을 감소시켜 기업 전체의 생산성 저하로 이어진다. 따라서 본 연구는 정규직과 비정규직으고 대별되는 고용형태에 따른 고용관계특성과 직무몰입과의 영향의 정도를 살펴보는데 있다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 서울소재 10개 특급호텔에 종사하고 있는 238명을 대상으로 실증분석을 실시한 결과, 정규직 근로자의 경우 비정규직 근로자보다 고용관계특성 수준에서 고용보장성과 동료관계 등의 수준이 더 높았고, 직무몰입에서도 정규직 근로자가 비정규직 근로자보다 유의하게 더 높았다. 그러나 고용형태에 따라 고용관계특성이 직무몰입에 미치는 영향에서 차이가 있을 것이라는 가설은 기각되었다. 즉 고용형태의 조절효과는 나타나지 않았다. 특히 고용관계특성 요인중에서 정규직 근로자의 경우에는 고용보장성이 직무몰입에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었고, 비정규직 근로자의 경우에는 고용보장성과 동료관계가 직무몰입에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

장애 중증도 수준에 따른 장애 유형이 고용에 미치는 영향: 장애인고용패널조사를 중심으로 (Effect of Disability Types by Disability Severity Levels on Employment: Based on the Employment Panel Survey for the Disabled)

  • 목적 : 본 연구의 목적은 장애 중증도 수준뿐만 아니라 장애 유형 또한 함께 고려하여 장애인의 고용현황을 분석함으로써 기존의 장애 중증도 수준에 기반한 의학적 손상을 기준으로 하여 직업적 능력을 고려하는 것에 한계가 있음을 지적하는 데에 있다. 연구방법 : 장애인고용공단(2019)에서 조사한 장애인 고용패널조사 2차 웨이브 4차 조사 자료를 사용하였다. 독립변수는 장애인의 장애 중증도와 장애 유형, 종속변수는 고용여부로 하여 장애 중증도에 따른 장애 유형의 고용가능성 오즈비를 로지스틱 회귀분석으로 산출하였다. 결과 : 장애정도가 심한 군은 고용가능성은 관련 변수들을 보정했을 때, 신체외부장애 유형에 비해 신체내부장애의 고용가능성이 0.413(95% CI: 0.271-0.629)배로 유의하게 낮았고(p<.001), 장애정도가 심하지 않은 군에서는 신체외부장애에 비해 신체내부장애가 0.475(95% CI: 0.327-0.690)배로 고용가능성이 낮았다(p<.001). 결론 : 장애 중증도 수준이 같다 하더라도 장애 유형에 따라 고용가능성이 달라질 수 있음을 확인하였다. 장애 유형과 중증도를 모두 고려하여 고용가능성의 편차를 줄일 수 있는 판정 기준의 마련이 필요하다.

외환위기 전후 청년 코호트의 노동경력 비교 (The Change of Work Careers in Youth Cohort pre and post-the Economic Crisis-)

  • 외환위기 이후 청년실업의 증가가 사회적 문제로 부각되었으나, 청년층의 노동시장 경험에 관한 연구는 제한적으로 이루어져 왔다. 본 연구에서는 노동경력을 단순한 일자리 이동과 달리 노동지위의 연속적 배열과 순서적이고 위계적인 변화과정으로 개념화하였으며, 배열분석을 활용하여 외환위기 전후 청년층의 노동경력을 노동지위의 다양한 측면에서 비교하였다. 분석 결과, 외환위기 이후 첫 일자리로의 이행기간이 장기화되고 고용형태와 사업장 규모 면에서 첫 일자리의 질적 저하가 발생하였음이 확인되었다. 또한 외환위기 이후 청년 코호트는 미취업형과 실업형, 비대기업형, 비정규직형 및 이동형 특성을 갖는 경력유형에 속할 상대적 위험률이 높았다. 이러한 결과는 전반적으로 외환위기 이후 청년층의 고용불안정성이 더 커졌으며, 내부노동시장형에 비해 외부노동시장형 경력유형이 상대적으로 증가한 것을 의미한다.

한국내 외국인투자기업 투자지분율형태와 CEO국적에 따른 고용효과 분석 (A Study on the Employment Effect of Foreign Invested Companies in Korea by Investor Ratio Type and CEO Nationality)

  • 본 연구에서는 우리나라에 진출한 외국인투자기업의 투자지분율차이와 CEO국적별차이가 고용에 어떠한 차이를 미치는지 보기 위해서 실증분석을 하였다. 실증분석을 하기위해, 투자비중, CEO국적, 설립시기, 기업규모등을 독립변수로 사용하였다. 고용증가율(EMPG)을 종속변수로 하여 일원분산분석을 실시하고 회귀분석하였다. INVRATIO는 투자비중을 나타내는 변수로서 1-0%<투자비중<50%, 2-투자비중=50%, 3-50%<투자비중${\leq}100%$을 나타내는 변수이며 CEO국적은 1-한국, 2-공동, 3-외국인을 나타내는 변수이다. 실증분석 결과 투자비중=50%, 50%<투자비중${\leq}100%$에서 0%<투자비중<50%보다 고용을 더 낮게 하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 CEO국적에 따른 고용행태를 실증 분석한 결과 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 시사점은 투자지분율형태와 CEO국적별에 따른 고용분석을 이론적 검토와 통계적 분석을 함으로써 대한(對韓) 외국인직접투자에서 고용에 미칠 수 있는 영향과 그에 대한 대처방안을 검토할 수 있다는 것이다. 또한 고용에 있어서 향후 투자지분율을 현재보다 더욱 중요하게 고려해야 할 요인이라는 점을 제공했다는 것이다.

Employment and Wage Level of University Graduates in the Field of Clothing and Fashion

  • The purpose of this study is 1) to compare the employment status and wage level of "Clothing and Fashion" major (CF major) graduates with those from other majors and 2) to examine factors affecting the employment status and wage level of CF major university graduates. The data were pooled from the 2009-2012 Graduates Occupational Mobility Survey Data, conducted by Korea Employment Information Service. First, when graduates of CF major were compared with other majors in the same academic area-natural science and arts-, the rate of employment was higher for CF majors than that of other majors; on the other hand, there is no difference in the wage levels between those with graduates in CF majors and those with other majors. Second, we examined factors affecting CF major graduates' employment and wage level based on graduates' individual factors, university factor, and job preparation factors. Employment status of graduates in CF major was predicted by respondent's gender and university type, and work experience. The wage level of CF major graduates was significantly predicted by individual factors (e.g., gender and age, university factors (e.g., university type, university program, location), and job preparation factors (e.g., certificates, overseas experience of foreign language training, English test scores). The results of this study would provide a guide to direct university educational program in order to assess the current capabilities in the field of clothing and fashion.

여가생활만족도에 관한 인과관계분석 -여가생활 참여도, 여가시간, 여가비용을 중심으로- (An Analysis of Causal effect on Leisure Life Satisfaction -Focused on leisure activity participation, leisure time and leisure expenditure-)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze a causal effect on the housewife's leisure activity participation, leisure expenditure and leisure life satisfaction. Data was collected 249 housewives in Pusan. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics, one-way Anova, multiple regression, Pearson's correlation and path analysis. The main findings of the research were as follows: First, there were significant differences in leisure activity participation according to socio-demographic and economic variables. Physical type showed significant differences when housewife was 30's and unemployed, size of family was 3 and 4, age of the lastborn child was under 6, occupation of husband was professionals and technicians, educational attainment of housewife was under highschool graduate, pattern of housing was collective, income was higher. There were significant differences that occupation of husband was professionals and technicians, educational attainment of housewife was over junior college graduate, pattern of housing was collective, income was higher in self-developing type. restful type showed significant differences when housewife was 40's, age of the lastborn child was under 13-18, educational attainment of housewife was under highschool graduate. There were significant differences that housewife was unemployed in home-oriented type. There were significant differences that housewife was 30's and unemployed, size of family was 4, age of the lastborn child was under 6, occupation of husband was market and sales worker, educational attainment of housewife was over junior college graduate, pattern of housing was collective in time-spending type. Second, there were significant differences in leisure time, leisure expenditure and leisure life satisfaction according to socio-demographic and economic variables. Leisure time showed significant differences when housewife was unemployed, age of the lastborn child was under 13-18, occupation of husband was service, educational attainment of housewife was under highschool graduate, income was higher. Leisure expenditure showed significant differences when housewife was 30's, size of family was under 3, age of the lastborn child was under 6, occupation of husband was senior officials and manager, educational attainment of housewife was over junior college graduate, pattern of housing was collective, income was over 5,000,000 won. There were significant differences that housewife was unemployed in leisure life satisfaction. Third, casual effect was path analysed according to path model. Employment and unemployment of housewife, income and occupation of husband (product & transport equipment operator) had an effect on phycial type. Age of housewife, employment and unemployment of housewife and occupation of husband (product & transport equipment operator) had an effect on children-concerned type. Age of housewife had an effect on social-concerned type. Education of husband, income, age of lastborn child and occupation of husband (professor and teacher) had an effect on self-developing type. Age of lastborn child, employment and unemployment of housewife and occupation of husband(product & transport equipment operator) had an effect on children-concerned type. Age of lastborn child and children number had an effect on religious-social type. Employment and unemployment of housewife had an effect on home-oriented type. Age of housewife, education of husband had an effect on time-spending type. Restful type, employment and unemployment of housewife, and occupation of husband(service) have an effect on leisure time. Income, leisure time, self-developing type, children concerned type and occupation of husband(senior officials and manager) had an effect on leisure expenditure. Leisure expenditure, self-developing type, employment and nemploymentof housewife, income had an effect on leisure life satisfaction.

콜센터 종사자의 직무스트레스와 직무만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Job Stress and Job Satisfaction of Call Center Employees)

  • Purpose - Although various studies have been conducted on the stress of service employees, there are still lack of studies regarding job stress and job satisfaction of call center workers. Especially there are quite few studies on the job stress according to employment type. This study focused on job stress and job satisfaction for call center employees and the correlation between the two factors and aimed to provide basic materials for seeking for the plans to reduce job stress and improve job satisfaction. Research design, data, and methodology - Frequency, percentage, and mean value were calculated through descriptive statistics in order to find out demographic characteristics, level of job stress, and job satisfaction. Differences in job stress according to employment type were calculated by using one-way ANOVA. Correlation between job stress and job satisfaction were identified through empirical analysis with Pearson's correlation coefficient. 150 materials were used for final analysis. The collected materials were analyzed to get statistics by using SPSS 20. Results - First, as for the job stress of call center workers, overall mean value was 2.54 in 4-point scales. Among the six sub-factors, job demands had the highest score, which was 2.67. Second, as for the job stress according to employment type, others showed higher score than mean value followed by contract job and full-time job in that order, in terms of job insecurity and organizational system. In terms of inappropriate remuneration, contract job showed higher score than mean value followed by others and full-time job. Third, as for the satisfaction with job, the mean value was 2.37 in 4-point scale and "very much satisfied" was only 3.3%. Lastly, in terms of job stress and job satisfaction, all sub-factors except for job demands showed significant correlation. The more job stress increased, the more job satisfaction decreased. Conclusions - First, as a result of analyzing job stress according to the employment type of call center workers, job stress increased more when the employment type was not full-time. Therefore, it was assumed that self-rescue efforts should be followed for effective employment management of call center business where contract employment takes most part as well as efforts to transfer them to full-time job. Second, decrease in job satisfaction of call center workers may affect the performance of an organization as well as service quality of the company providing the service. Therefore, various supports are required to decrease job stress and increase job satisfaction for call center workers through the expansion of rest area or break time. Third, I could recognize that there were lack of academic research on call center business in the whole service industry. Therefore, further research should be conducted more actively in the future. In particular, this study has special significance in the aspect that there were few studies on the job stress of call center workers according to employment type.

위험은 파견, 용역 직원에게 외주화 되는가?: 간접 고용이 안전, 건강, 만족에 미치는 효과 (Is the Risk Unloaded on Dispatch and Service Supplier?: Influence of Indirect Employment on Safety, Health and Satisfaction)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of employment type(direct employment, dispatch and service supplier) on risk factor exposure, health and satisfaction. The data of the 4th wave of Korean Working Conditions Survey (KWCS) conducted by Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA) in South Korea was used. Business support service industry and manufacturing industry were selected as appropriate industries for analysis. In the final analysis, 5,865 in the manufacturing industry and 1,361 in the service support industry were included. Various variables related risk, safety, satisfaction and health such as risk factor exposure, MSDs exposure, work environment satisfaction, injury probability, dangerous work, workload, physical health problem, perceived health, positive emotions, stress, participation for decision making and experience of accident/disease were analyzed and company size and age was controled. An ANCOVA was conducted to identify significant mean differences of risk, safety, satisfaction and health related variables among direct employed workers, dispatch and service supplier workers. The results showed that all the variables except stress showed a significant difference depending on employment type in the service supply industry. In the manufacturing industry, there were significant difference in the risk factor exposure, MSDs exposure, work environment satisfaction, workload, physical health problem, perceived health, and participation depending on employment type. These results indicated that the risks are unloaded to subcontract and outsourcing company workers. Based on these results, the implications of this study and suggestions for future research were discussed.

택배기사의 고용형태에 따른 근로환경과 건강결과의 차이 (Differences in the Working Environment and Health Outcomes according to the Employment Type of Delivery Workers)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify differences in physical working environments, psychosocial working environments, and health outcomes according to the employment type of delivery workers. Methods: This study was a secondary analysis of data collected from the Fifth Korean Working Conditions Survey (KWCS). Participants were 84 Korean delivery workers. Data were analyzed using the SAS 9.4 Version, χ2 test and Fisher's exact test. Results: Statistically significant differences were found according to the employment type of delivery workers (special types, wage) including "noise", "vibrations", "repetitive movements", "supervisor support", "colleague support", "manuals on emotional expression", "existence of trade union, works council or similar body". Conclusion: This study suggests the necessity of improving the working environment and health outcomes of delivery workers belonging to special employment types. In developing these, the laws and systems must be reorganized to enable the recognition of delivery workers as wage workers. In addition, delivery companies should be held responsible for managing delivery workers.

청소년의 개인변인과 청소년이 지각한 가족변인이 문제행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of the Individual and Family Relational Variables Perceived by Adolescents on Adolescents' Problem Behaviors)

  • The purpose of this study was to show general trends in the psychological environment of family and problem behaviors perceived by adolescents and examine possible changes in such trends in accordance with the individual variables of adolescent, and then find out the effect of these variables on adolescents' problem behavior. The subject were 1374 adolescents of middle school in Busan(male 698, female 676). The main results were as follows : (1) General trends in the degree of parental monitoring showed that girls had more high than boys, and in the degree of family discord, boys showed more high than girls. In the degree of openness of parent-adolescent communication perceived by adolescents showed that girls had more open communication with mother than boys. Such trends in problem behaviors indicated that adolescents had the attention problem most. According to gender, girls had more problems in withdrawal, somatic complain, anxiety/depression, thought problems, attention problems, destructivity/identity, internalizing problems, total behavior problems in comparison to boys. Boys did delinquent behaviors more than girls. (2) For boys, the monthly income of their family, family discord, and the mother-adolescent communication have a significant direct effect on internalizing problems, externalizing problems and total behavior problems. Besides mother's employment and the type of family have a significant indirect effect on behavior problem. For girls, mother's employment, parental monitoring, family discord, and father-adolescent communication have a significant direct effect on internalizing problems. Mother's employment, family discord, mother-adolescent communication have a significant indirect effect on externalizing problems and total behavior problems. Bisides mother's employment, grade, the type of family, dating have a significant indirect effect on behavior problem. (3) The variables to have a significant influence on the parental monitoring showed as the monthly income of their family, dating, mother's employment, the type of family, the family discord showed as mother's employment on the parent-adolescent communication showed as the type of family. (4) Family discord was the most powerful predicator of problem behaviors of middle school students.
