A video-work story analysis system based on emotional state measurement includes a content provision unit which provides story content of a video-work, a display unit which displays content provided by the content provision unit, an emotional state measurement unit which measures a tense-relaxed emotional state of a viewer viewing the displayed story content, a story pattern analysis unit which analyzes the tense-relaxed emotional state measured from the emotional state measurement unit according to a scene in the story content provided by the content provision unit, and a story pattern display unit which prints out an analysis result or displays the analysis result as an image. The emotional state measurement unit measures a tense or relaxed emotional state through one or more analyses among a brainwave analysis, a vital sign analysis, or an ocular state analysis. A writer may obtain support in an additional scenario modification work, and an investor may obtain support in making a decision through the above description. Furthermore, the video-work story analysis system and analysis method based on emotional state measurement may extract a particular pattern with respect to a change in an emotional state of a viewer, compile statistics, and analyze a correlation between a story and an emotional state.

Objectives: The study was conducted to investigate the relationship between several stress measures in everyday life, emotional eating behavior, and dietary pattern (snacks, fatty foods, sweet beverages, fruits and vegetables) in school-aged children. Methods: One hundred and ninety-four students of an elementary school located in Seongnam City participated in the study. The students responded to the survey questionnaire by self-report, which consisted of items regarding general characteristics, height, weight, dietary habits, frequency of consuming healthy (fruits and vegetables) and unhealthy foods (snacks, fatty foods, and sweet beverages), emotional eating behavior, and daily stress. Correlational analysis was performed to examine the relationship between stress, emotional eating behavior, and dietary pattern, and Poisson and logistic regression analyses were conducted to investigate the effects of stress on dietary pattern. Results: Positive correlations were found between all stress factors and emotional eating behavior and between the friend and personal factor (one of the stress factors) and the consumption of sweet beverages. The frequency of consuming sweet beverages was 2.6 times higher in the high stress group than in the low stress group (95% CI). Conclusions: Children's daily stress was associated with emotional eating behavior and undesirable dietary pattern such as consumption of sweet beverages.

본 연구의 목적은 건물 파사드 디자인을 효과적으로 지원 할 수 있는 패턴의 감성적인 디자인 특성을 도출하여 그 특성들의 상관관계를 분석하는 것이다. 본 논문에서 다루어지는 디자인 패턴은 Ben Pell이 제시한 5가지, 즉 응용 패턴, 다공 패턴, 레이어드 패턴, 캐스트 패턴, 타일 패턴 이다. 본 논문은 5가지 패턴 유형의 예비 조사 후 50명을 대상으로 10쌍의 형용사 어휘를 가지고 Likert 7단계의 SD척도로 감성 어휘 조사 하였다. 본 논문은 예비조사에서 감성 어휘의 감성 치수가 가장 높은 응용 패턴의 디자인 특성을 분석하고 있다. 응용 패턴은 '연속적인'과 감성 상관성이 높다. 이 '연속적인'과의 상관관계가 높은 감성 어휘는 '비연속적인' 과 '규칙적인' 으로 도출 되었다. 본 논문에서 최종 도출한 응용패턴의 감성 디자인 특성은 '연속적인-비연속적인' 과 '불규칙적인-규칙적인' 등의 감성 어휘 쌍과 상대적으로 높은 상관관계를 갖는 것으로 요약될 수 있다. 디지털 기술의 지원에 의해 디자인된 파사드의 디자인 특성을 분석했다는 점과 도출된 디자인 특성의 활용 방향을 논의하고 있다는 점이 본 논문이 갖는 가치이다.

Modern furniture design is advancing by putting value on individual sensitivity. Accordingly, this study will focus on optical art, which can give various changes in people's sensitivity. Optical art was actively applied in various fields of image, photograph, fashion, textile, accessory and interior from the 1950s till the 1960s. Optical art realized by Victor Vasarely (1908~) opened a new trend in art by accurately realizing concise and precise expressions. This study analyzed the impact of pattern expression on sensitivity in optical art and suggested a method, which can spatiotemporally maximize the emotional change by combining optical art with the form of furniture. Modern furniture design is changing toward the direction of fitting to the propensity and emotional taste of an individual. Accordingly, this study analyzed the emotional expression felt in the furniture modeling works featured by concise, straight and standardized rectangular shape. Based on the result of analysis, this study would like to suggest a method to utilize optical pattern as a means for emotional design, with which people are able to perform various emotional expressions while keeping the function and form of furniture.

최근 들어 인간과 컴퓨터 상호작용 분야에서 기존의 인지적인 측면 이외에 감정의 역할에 대한 관심이 증폭되고 있는 추세이다. 본 연구에서는 사용자가 좁은 화면을 통해 의사 결정을 위한 정보검색을 수행 할 때 감정 상태에 따라 정보 검색 패턴이 달라지는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 본 실험에서 실험참가자들의 감정 상태를 긍정적 혹은 부정적 상태로 유도하기 위해 긍정적인 감정과 부정적인 감정을 유발시킬 수 있는 음악을 듣게 하였고 동시에 자신의 과거 기억으로부터 긍정적인 감정 혹은 부정적인 감정을 유발시킬 수 있는 자서전적 회상 과제를 수행하도록 하였다. 감정 유발 과정이 끝난 뒤 각 실험 참가자들은 작은 디스플레이를 통해 세 나라들에 대한 여행 정보를 검색하여 가장 선호하는 여행지를 선택하였고, 실험참가자들이 탐색한 링크들의 경로 및 각 링크에 머무른 시간 등이 실시간으로 기록되었다 실험결과 긍정적인 감정 상태에서는 중립 상태와 부정적인 감정 상태에 비해 보다 신속한 정보탐색이 이루어지는 것으로 나타났고, 중립 상태와 부정 감정 상태에서는 긍정 감정 상태에 비해 세부 항목에 상대적으로 많은 양의 인지적 자원을 할당하는 것으로 나타났다.

In this paper, we propose an emotional evaluation model based on information fusion. This model can transform the physical features of a color pattern to the emotional features. Our proposed model consists of the fuzzy logic system and neural network model. The evaluation values produced by them were fused. The model shows comparable performances to the neural network and fuzzy logic system for the approximation of the nonlinear transforms. We believe the evaluated results of a color pattern can be used to the emotion-based color image retrievals.

The purpose of this study was to investigate emotional images and preference of knitwear by tone on tone combination. The subjects were 357 university students in Daejeon and Chungnam province, and the measuring instruments were 6 stimuli manipulated by color and tone combination type of background and pattern in the tone and tone combination, and self-administrated questionnaires consisted of emotional images items, preference items, and subjects' demographics attributions. The data were analyzed by Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, factor analysis, t-test, MANOVA and Duncan's multiple range test, using SPSS program. The results were as follows. First, four factors (attractiveness, conspicuity, mildness, and activity) are emerged on emotional images of knitwear. Second, color had main effects on emotional images and preference. Gray color was perceived as most attractive image and more preferred than others. Third, tone combination type had some effects on emotional images. Vivid tone background/light tone pattern was perceived more attractive image but less conspicuous and mild than light tone background/vivid tone pattern. Forth, subjects' gender had an effects on conspicuous image. Male was perceived more conspicuous image on knitwear stimuli than female. Fifth, color and subjects' gender had interaction effects on attractiveness image and preference. Male perceived that blue is more attractive and preferred than female.

This study was developed using the DTP (digital textile printing) jacquard fabrics with a three-dimensional pattern for bag and evaluated the preference and emotional structure. The following conclusions were obtained. Three-dimensional patterns of 12 species using the illustrator program, including six kinds of designs based on the text and six kinds of character types based on the geometry of the basic design was developed. As a result of evaluating the preference of the three-dimensional pattern jacquard fabric, the most preferred fabric was a three-dimensional patterned jacquard fabric with a motif of the Korean consonant "ㅅ". The results of analyzing the emotional dimension of the three-dimensional pattern jacquard fabric, eight factors including simple image, feminine image, exotic image, graphic image, sporty image, masculine image, dynamic image and stereoscopic image were derived. Between emotional factors and preferences correlation analysis showed the stronger the simple image, the feminine image, and the sporty image, the more preferable. It suggested the possibility of a morphological and new fabric for bag, textile design motifs by using Hangul consonants attempt to limit the flatness of the existing geometric form patterns that can be applied to three-dimensional bag whether swirly patterns overcome.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the differences in emotional response and coping pattern by age among cancer patients. Method: As descriptive research, from November 2000 to April 2001, data was collected with semi-structured questionnaire to 90 adult cancer patients, and analyzed using quantitative analysis. Result: Most emotional response at the time of diagnosis of cancer is despair in 20-39years & more than 60 years, and Impact in 40-59years. In emotional response during treatment by age, there were most much hope in 20-39 years, fear in 40-59years, and acceptance in more than 60years. In difficulties by age during treatment, there were most much mental burden in 20-29years, problems about occupation/finance in 40-59years, and physical discomfort related to treatment in more than 60 years. Resolution of difficulties of treatment shows avoidance in 20-39years, active participation in 40-59years and compliance in more than 60 years. Coping pattern during treatment was positive thinking in 20-39years, refreshment in 40-59years, and despair/avoidance in more than 60 years. Coping with treatment & progress shows in 20-39years maintenance of current health, 40-59years impossible to recover, more than 60year health recovery. Conclusion: Nursing could be considered emotional response and coping pattern according to age.

Furniture in the modern living environment, inclusive the importance of its practical value, is a plastic element of indoor space, and its artistic value also holds an important position. Moreover, emotional design based on the emotional engineering in a structural change of modern society such as urbanization, small family, aging society is proposed as an important keyword in the modern design. Namely, furniture as an component of modern residential space has been advanced as a human-oriented environmental element considering people's emotional and mental value to the functional satisfaction and artistic and emotional satisfaction. Furniture is a living tool that is much contacted to people, which affects highly on people's body and mind. This means that people's volition action can be naturally induced by furniture design, and that furniture can display a role as an active tool of means to make people's interpersonal communication and interchange. Namely, I think furniture design of emotional interchange that understands furniture user's pattern behavior and pattern, and observes furniture form and structure and functionality on users' relationship affecting on people's emotional stability and interpersonal interchange of emotion, as an indispensable element necessary for producing more human and prosperous environment of life.
