Iron(Fe)-Molybdenum(Mo) alloyed nanoparticles and nanowires were produced by the chemical vapor condensation(CVC) process using the pyrolysis of iron pentacarbonyl($Fe(CO)_5$) and Molybdenum hexacarbonyl($Mo(CO)_6$). The influence of CVC parameter on the formation of nanoparticle, nanowire and size control was studied. The size of Fe-Mo alloyed nanoparticles can be controlled by quantity of gas flow. Also, Fe-Mo alloyed nanowires were produced by control of the work chamber pressure. Moreover, we investigated close correlation of size and morphology of Fe-Mo nanoparticles and nanowires with atomic quantity of inflow precursor into the electric furnace as the quantitative analysis. Obtained nanoparticles and nanowires were investigated by field emission scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction.
Modern people are spending most of time in interior area. Indoor air environmental problem is one of the most effective factors influenceable to human health. Furthermore, saving energy and making ventilation system for pleasant indoor environment are necessary when it is faced shortage of energy over the world. In our country's case, it is already imposed that required quantity of air ventilation in buildings is 0.7 times per hour on "The regulation on building engineering system". As on the rise of the interests about Indoor air environment, Heat and Carbon dioxide emissions from User's metabolism, activity, furniture, and construction materials etc. could be the causes of Indoor air pollution. If these materials stays in Indoor air for so long, it could directly influence the user's health condition with a disease. As of building's sterilization improved that raised more mechanical ventilation. It also leads much energy waste in a period of high price of fossil fuel. Therefore, the way that saves energy and effective control of indoor ventilation is urgently needed. So, this study places the purpose on validating volume of indoor ventilation and user's comfortable degree by comparison CO2 emission rate through changing floor temperature.

We studied optical properties of SiON thin-film in the applications of optical waveguide. SiON thin-film was grown in 300$^{\circ}C$ by PECVD(plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition) system. The change of SiON thin-film composition and refractive Index was studied as a function of varying NH$_3$ gas flow rate. As NH$_3$ gas flow rate was increased, Quantity of N and refractive index were increased at the same time. By the results, we could form the SiON thin-film to use of a waveguide with refractive index of 1.6. We analyzed the conditions of the thin-film with FTIR(fourier transform infrared) and OES(optical emission spectroscopy). N-H bonding(3390cm$\^$-1/) can be removed by thermal annealing. And we could observe the SiH bonding state and quantity by OES analysis in SiH$_4$
Multi-injection scheme is being applied to GDI combustion to reduce PM and PN emission to meet the EU7 regulation. However, very short injection duration encounters the ballistic injection region, which injection quantity does not increase linearly with injection duration when applying multi-injection. In this study, numerical studies were conducted to reveal the cause of ballistic injection and the effect of design parameters on ballistic region using 1-D simulation, AMESim. Injection rate and injection quantity were compared with experiment to validate the established model, which showed the accuracy with 10% error. The model revealed that the tendency of ballistic region coincides with the needle motion behavior, which means that parameters at the upper part of needle such as electro-magnetic force, needle spring force and needle friction force have dominant effect on ballistic injection. To figure out the effect of electro-magnetic and needle friction force on ballistic, those parameters were varied to plus and minus 10% with model. The result showed that those parameters clearly changed the ballistic region characteristics, however, the impact became insignificant for outside of ballistic region, which means that the ballistic injection is mainly influenced by initial motion of injector needle.

The objective of this study is 10 investigate the method to produce urban climate map so as to cope with climate change and efficiently control greenhouse gas in the city by using GIS. To produce urban climate map by using GIS, statistical data and spatial data of greenhouse gases related to climate change were collected and analyzed and the correlation between the type of urban climatop and urban climate change was analyzed by establishing GIS framework data construction method to prepare urban climate map and preparing and analyzing urban climate map related to the demonstration area. It was found that exact greenhouse gases emission quantity and absorption quantity can be calculated for each type of urban climatop by preparing urban climate map and the temperature is high in residential area, commercial area and industrial area and the emission quantity per unit area is high in the traffic area and industrial area. It seems that the influence of climate change can be presented for urban development by suggesting urban climate change for type of urban climatop and they can be utilized to save energy in urban area and to establish greenhouse gases reducing policy.
This paper addresses limitations of land-change modeling application in the context of REDD (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and forest Degradation). REDD is an international conservation policy that aims to protect forests via carbon credit generation and trading. In REDD, carbon credits are generated only if there is measurable quantied carbon sequestration activities that are additional to business-as-usual (BAU). A "reference level" is defined as simulated baseline carbon emissions for the future under a BAU scenario, and predictive land-change modeling plays an important role in constructing reference levels. It is tested in this research how predictive accuracies of two land-change models, namely Geographic Emission Benchmark (GEB) and GEOMOD, vary with respect to different spatial scales: Xishuangbanna prefecture and Yunnan province. The accuracies are measured by Figure of Merit. In this Chinese case study, it turns out that GEB's better performance is mainly due to quantity (e.g., how many hectares of forest will be converted to agricultural land?) rather than spatial allocation (e.g., where will the conversion happen?). As both quantity and allocation are crucial in REDD reference level setting it appears to be fundamental to systematically analyze accuracies of quantity and allocation independently in pursuit of accurate reference levels.

In the previous study, several problems were observed in a NG conversion vehicle, which were fail of air-fuel ratio closed loop control, aggravated fuel economy, increased harmful emission and declined roadability. It was provisionally supposed that the mismatch of injection system with the engine caused these performance deterioration. In this context, the characteristics of fuel injection system of commercial conversion kit for NG were investigated experimentally varying the engine speed, fuel rail pressure and volume. The results are as follows; The injection quantity decreases as the engine speed increases due to the extremely small rail volume of the presenting system and flow rate of No. 2 injector are always lower than that of the other ones regardless of the speed under the dynamic operation condition. Furthermore the existing system does not meet the required fuel quantity for the normal engine operation over 3000 RPM. On the other hands, the large rail volume systems ease and/or eliminate the difference of injection quantity between the injectors according to the speed variation, however, these systems decrease injection flow rate and still cannot supply sufficient fuel. Finally, suitable combination of the higher rail pressure and the larger rail volume might be a solution about these problems.
This paper measures integrated pollution intensities and changes in pollution intensity, and figure out environmental performance. We introduce a new definition of pollution intensity and its method measuring integrated pollution intensities. We distinguish 24 manufacturing industries into light industry and heavy industry, and divide heavy industry into pollution industry and the other residual heavy industry to measure the integrated pollution intensities and their changes. While the pollution industry within heavy industry, based on the integrated pollution intensity, was the most pollution-intensive, the other residual heavy industry within the heavy industry was the most successive in reducing pollutants. The annualized average index of the integrated pollution intensities grew as much as 9.1 percent, of which the annualized change in the index of pollution emission increased 13.3 percent, but the improvement of 3.9 percent in the change of output quantity offset the increase in the index of pollution emission. The changes in the integrated pollution intensity for the light and heavy industries were 1.125 and 1.042, respectively. The reason the heavy industry showed the lower change in the index of pollution intensity, while the change in the pollution industry was very high, was because the average change in the other heavy industry decreased around 9 percent.
Methane is a potent greenhouse gas and methane emissions from landfills have been linked to global warming. In this study, LandGEM (Landfill Gas Emission Model) was applied to predict landfill gas quantity over time, and then this result was compared with the data surveyed on the site, Cheongju Megalo Landfill. LandGEM allows the input of site-specific values for methane generation rate (k) and potential methane generation capacity $L_o$, but in this study, k value of 0.05/yr and $L_o$ value of $170m^3/Mg$ were considered to be most appropriate for reflecting non-arid temperate region conventional landfilling, Cheongju Megalo Landfill. High discrepancies between the surveyed data and the predicted data about landfill gas seems to be derived from insufficient compaction of daily soil-cover, inefficient recovery of landfill gas and banning of direct landfilling of food garbage waste in 2005. This study can be used for dissemination of information and increasing awareness about the benefits of recovering and utilizing LFG (landfill gas) and mitigating greenhouse gas emissions.
The emission of $NO_{x}$ during coal combustion is a major reason of environment impact. $NO_{x}$ is an acid rain precursor and participates in the generation of smog through ozone production. $NO_{x}$ can be divided into thermal $NO_{x}$, fuel $NO_{x}$ and prompt $NO_{x}$. Thermal $NO_{x}$ is formed in a highly temperature condition dependent. Fuel $NO_{x}$ is dependent on the local combustion characteristics and initial concentration of nitrogen bound compound, while prompt $NO_{x}$ is formed in a significant quantity in some combustion environments, such as low temperature and short residence times. This paper presents numerical simulation of the flow and combustion characteristics in the furnace of a tangential firing boiler of 500MW with burners installed at the every comer of the furnace. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the reduction of $NO_{x}$ emission in a 500MW pulverized coal tangential firing boiler with different OFA's and burner angles. Calculations with different air flow rates of over fired air(OFA) and burner angles are performed.
