제방축조에 의한 연약지반의 변위특성 (Displacement Characteristics of Soft Ground by Embankment Construction)

  • 본 연구에서는 제방축조에 의해 연약점토지반에서 발생되는 지반의 변위 및 변형형태를 파악하기 위하여 제방높이, 지반의 비배수 전단강도, geotextile의 설치여부와 중력수준을 변화시키면서 원심모형시험을 실시하였다. 실험결과, 제방하중에 의한 지반의 치환단면은 geotextile을 설치하지 않은 경우 포물선 형태를 나타내었고, geotextile을 설치한 경우에는 제방하부에서 균일한 침하단면을 나타내는 사다리꼴 형태를 나타내었다. 치환각도는 제방높이와 중력수준이 증가할수록 그리고 지반의 비배수 전단강도가 작을수록 거의 선형적으로 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 최대 수평변위가 발생하는 위치는 지표면에서 점토층 깊이의 $0.24{\sim}0.35H_0$($H_0$ : 초기 모형지반의 높이) 지점으로 평균 0.3H0인 것으로 나타났으며, geotextile을 설치하지 않은 경우 지반의 최대침하량(S)과 최대 수평변위(${\delta}_m$)는 ${\delta}_m$ = 0.54S, geotextile을 설치한 경우에는 ${\delta}_m$ = 0.60S의 관계를 나타내었다.

  • A making a decision of construction cost has important meaning and function for both contractor and owner in construction projects. Especially, it should be premised that estimating the construction cost in efficient and rational way in public construction, which is invested by government funds, for efficient execution of the budget and investment as a side of government. The systematic methodology for estimating construction cost approximately of a river facility construction project has not yet been established because of its unique characteristics including its relatively small project size in terms of cost. On this study, It collect and analyze a river facility construction historical cost data for develop an approximate cost estimating model for river applied by typical embankment section method and rate application of the others activity type. And it verify suitability of model through a that result of application of real river facility construction statement at developed model. By this study, it is expected to reasonable and systematic estimating construction cost through application of developed model.

  • This study investigates to detect sea surface temperature (SST) and land cover change after tide embankment construction using Landsat Thematic Mapper (TM) thermal infrared (TIR) band data at Shihwa Lake and surrounding area. SST measurement is important for studies of both the structure of the ocean and as the thermal boundary between the ocean and the atmosphere. The TIR band of TM images can be used to detect SST change whose shoreline is complicated and narrow like the study site. The purpose of this study is to estimate SST and land cover change at Shihwa Lake and surrounding area.

  • In evaluating the stability of underground structures and designing prevention methods against the lateral flow, it is necessary to predict the amount and the distribution of the lateral earth pressure acting on these retaining structures. However, because the lateral deformation of real ground is a very complex phenomenon influenced by interaction between volumetric deformation bringing an increase of stability of ground and shear deformation causing failure of ground, any appropriate methods for estimating the lateral earth pressure in consideration of the geotechnical properties of ground and the construction conditions in embankment have not been developed as yet. Therefore, a prediction method, which considers effects of a construction speed of embankment, using the Boussinesq's solution based on the elasticity theory without using complex numerical analyses such as finite element analyses is proposed in this research.

Comparison of behaviour of basal reinforced piled embankment with two layer of reinforcement

  • Interest to basal reinforced piled embankments is increasing recently due to their rapid construction and reliability. A comprehensive parametric study is conducted to determine effects of pile properties, reinforcement stiffness, embankment properties and soft soil properties into settlements, pressures and excess pore water pressure development and dissipations. Results which are obtained by using one-layer reinforcement during construction are compared with the results obtained by using two-layer reinforcement during construction. Finite element method is used during the parametric study. Second layer of reinforcement is placed in five different positions in order to reveal effects of reinforcement position into behaviour. Traffic load is also taken into consideration during the study. Differences between the results without presence of traffic loading and with presence of traffic loading is stated in this the study.

제방축조에 의한 연약점토지반의 변형해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Deformation of Soft Clay Foundation by Embankment Construction)

  • 연약지반상에 댐이나 제방과 같은 토질구조물을 성토할 경우에는 구조물 뿐만아니라 기초지반에도 상당히 큰 변형이 일어나게 된다. 그러므로 성토에 의하여 최종적으로 형성된 토공단면은 연약기초지반에 놓여있는 형태가 아니라 제체의 일부가 연약점토지반 내로 치환된 형태가 된다. 본 연구에서는 축조재의 Dumping에 의하여 발생하는 치환깊이와 축조후 토공단면의 변형형태를 추정하고자 하였으며 제시된 이론과 수치해석 결과를 검증하고자 모형실험을 수행하였다. 또한 보강재 부설에 따른 보강효과도 관찰하였다.

해안상의 토목섬유 수평배수재의 적용 (Application of Prefabricated Horizontal Drains to Marine Clayey Soils)

  • Sandmats are used to dissipate trapped water rapidly from the embankment built on marine soft ground. At present, however, it becomes difficult to obtain qualified sands since natural resources such as river sand are to exhausted. Also, low permeability of sand may cause low degree of consolidation and instability of embankment. In this study, design and construction methods was discussed. Drainage capacities of prefabricated horizontal drains which were installed in highway construction site are investigated in order to find possible substitution for river sands as drainage materials. On the basis of measurement data at the construction site, it was concluded that use of the prefabricated horizontal drains shows satisfactory drainage capacity without instability of embankment.

지반의 투수성에 따른 제체 침투류의 변화 (Variation of Seepage Line through Embankments by Permeability of Layer)

  • The movement of water through a river embankment and its influenced upon the stability of the slope of the embankment are described. The stability of the embankment is depended upon the location of seepage line. As the seepage flow occurs in the embankment, the slope of the embankment loses its stability. Of particular interest is the stability following a rapid change of water level. The variation of seepage line in the embankment model by a fluctuation of water level is discussed. The experimental models were construction with slopes of 1 : 1.5, 1 : 2.0, 1 : 2.5 and the flow velocity was turned from 60cm/sec~90cm/sec. Based on the experimental study, the following conclusions are drawn. 1) When water level is raised, the seepage line of downstream slope Is raised rapidly as flow velocity increases. 2) For the case of permeable layer, the seepage line raised rapidly as compare with impermeable layer when water lever is raised.

  • Recently, geotextile tube method can be widely applied to the river, costal and marine in the construction field, such as embankment, groin, breakwater, dyke structures and so on, in advanced countries of the world. And that has been constructed at the temporary road for incheon, ilsan-bridge construction and coast erosion protection in republic of korea. Geotextile tube is a tube shaped geotextile product and hydraulic pumping filled with dredged soils. In this paper, the numerical analysis was performed to investigate the behavior of geotextile tube with various properties of material character, shape condition, construction pressure and so on. Also, the field test was conducted in order to identify the construction ability of Samangum waterproof embankment using geotextile tube. According to the applied of field test, geotextile tube was 65 m long and 4.0 m diameter. Also, the permeability coefficient and ultimate tensile strength of geotextile tube is $1.6{\times}10^{-1}$ cm/sec and 205.26 kN/m, respectively. As a result of filed test, when filled, geotextile tube does not attain the same as its unfilled theoretical diameter, but may reach approximately of 55 percent of the theoretical diameter. At the time, geotextile tubes were 12.56 m in circumference and filled to a height of about 2.2 m. This paper presents case study on field application and behavior analysis of the saemangum waterproof embankment donggin 1 division construction using geotextile tube.

고성토 암버력 동다짐 지반의 침하거동 (The Settlement Behavior of Dynamically Compacted High Rock Embankment)

  • 본 연구에서는 부지 내 절토부에서 발생하는 암버력을 층당 7m씩 총 9층으로 단계별 동다짐 성토하여 조성된 최대 63m 고성토(高盛土) 암버력 지반의 거동특성을 파악하기 위해, 각 층 성토 완료 시 지중침하계를 설치하여 성토 중 침하량을 분석하였다. 또한, 암버력을 성토 단계별로 동다짐할 경우 하부 성토지반의 구속압 증가로 인하여 지반의 변형특성이 초기 상태와 차이가 발생할 것으로 예상됨에 따라 시공이력을 반영한 수치해석을 실시하여 지중침하계로부터 계측한 성토 단계별 침하량과 비교하였다. 한편, 최종 성토완료 후 선행재하 시 계측한 침하량을 분석하여, 본 연구대상 현장의 2차 크리프 침하량을 예측하였다.
