인쇄회로기판 배선소재 표면 거칠기에 따른 HDMI 전송선로 설계 기준 연구 (Study on Design Criteria of HDMI Transmission Line according to Surface Roughness of Printed Circuit Board Wiring Material)

  • 최근 스마트폰 카메라 기술의 발달로 고화질의 동영상을 촬영할 수 있다. 이러한 기술을 다양한 방법으로 활용하기 위해 디스플레이 등의 외부 장치로 신호 전송이 가능하여야 한다. 영상신호의 전송 성능은 전송선로의 손실과 배선의 길이에 따라 결정된다. 논문에서는 스마트폰 디자인에 따라 변경되는 배선 길이와 인쇄회로기판 도체 배선 소재 표면 거칠기 진폭에 따른 HDMI 전송선로 설계 기준을 제안하였다. 또한 실제 스마트폰 설계에 제안된 설계 기준을 적용하여 검증하였다. 본 논문을 통해 제안된 설계 기준은 모바일 어플리케이션외 고속신호 전송선로가 포함되는 다양한 응용분야에 확대 적용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • 비침습식 혈당 검출 기술 중 광학 기법은 생물학적 매체를 통과할 때 빛의 반사와 흡수 및 산란 특성을 이용하는 방법으로 통증이나 측정의 불편함을 감소시키고 감염 위험이 없어 혈당 검출 연구의 주요 흐름이 되고 있다. 이 중 근적외선 분광법은 혈당 분자와 유사한 흡수 기능을 공유하는 단백질과 산의 간섭들로 감지된 신호 분석 시 복잡성이 증가하는 단점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 근적외선의 피부 흡수로 발생할 수 있는 혈당검출 기능저하를 완화시키기 위해 다중 근적외선 대역의 비침습식 센서시스템을 설계하고 제작하였다. 제작한 시스템의 검증을 위해 혈액 조사를 실시하였으며, 혈액 내의 혈당 반응 정도를 스펙트럼 데이터로 수집하고, 데이터와 혈당과의 상관관계 관점에서 정량적으로 본 연구의 성과를 검증하였다.

Design of Image Extraction Hardware for Hand Gesture Vision Recognition

  • In this paper, we propose a system that can detect the shape of a hand at high speed using an FPGA. The hand-shape detection system is designed using Verilog HDL, a hardware language that can process in parallel instead of sequentially running C++ because real-time processing is important. There are several methods for hand gesture recognition, but the image processing method is used. Since the human eye is sensitive to brightness, the YCbCr color model was selected among various color expression methods to obtain a result that is less affected by lighting. For the CbCr elements, only the components corresponding to the skin color are filtered out from the input image by utilizing the restriction conditions. In order to increase the speed of object recognition, a median filter that removes noise present in the input image is used, and this filter is designed to allow comparison of values and extraction of intermediate values at the same time to reduce the amount of computation. For parallel processing, it is designed to locate the centerline of the hand during scanning and sorting the stored data. The line with the highest count is selected as the center line of the hand, and the size of the hand is determined based on the count, and the hand and arm parts are separated. The designed hardware circuit satisfied the target operating frequency and the number of gates.

405 nm 살균용 UV LED 등기구의 청색광 위해에 관한 연구 (Blue-Light Hazards of 405 nm Sterilization LED Lamps)

  • Recently, sterilization technology has received increasing interest due to the COVID-19 pandemic and required safety precautions. Particularly, sterilization devices using near ultraviolet (UV) with a 405 nm wavelength are also drawing attention. It has a UV-C wavelength and other sterilization effects. Its blue-colored light on the boundary between UV and visible light is used as a light-emitting diode (LED) lamp for 405 nm sterilization, owing to its longer wavelengths than UV rays. However, the 405 nm wavelength contains blue light that can damage the eyes and skin during prolonged exposures and affect the emotional and biological parts of the body. Currently, 405 nm sterilization LED light registers are circulating in the market. However, they have not undergone safety tests for blue-light hazards. Thus, with the active distribution of sterilization LED lights, solid safety standards and management systems are essential to protect users from blue-light hazards. Accordingly, in this study, we conducted spectral radiance and spectral radiative luminance tests on 405 nm sterilization LED registers available in the market by the measurement criteria of IEC 62471. Safety standards must be established to secure users' safety against blue light hazards at a time when 405nm sterilization LED lights are actively distributed due to COVID-19.

미용/의료용 유연 마이크로 발광 다이오드 디바이스 제작 공정 (Fabrication of Flexible Micro LED for Beauty/Biomedical Applications)

  • 마이크로 발광다이오드(LED)는 칩 사이즈가 100마이크로미터 이하인 무기발광재료로 우수한 전기적, 광학적, 기계적 성능 때문에 유연 디스플레이, AR/VR, 바이오 메디컬 분야의 차세대 광원으로 큰 주목을 받고 있다. 특히, 바이오메디컬 분야에 적용하기 위해서는 매우 작은 크기의 마이크로 LED 칩을 원하는 유연 기판에 옮기기 위한 기술이 요구되며, 실제 인간의 얼굴, 장기 등 여러 신체 부위에 적용하기 위해서는 대량의 마이크로 LED 칩을 낮은 정밀 오차, 빠른 속도, 높은 수율로 타겟 기판에 전사하는 것이 중요하다. 본 논문의 목적은 미용/의료용 유연 마이크로 LED 디바이스 제작 공정 방법을 소개하고, 이를 실제 미용/의료 산업에 적용하기 위해 필요한 마이크로 LED 전사 기술을 소개한다. 해당 기술로 제작된 유연 마이크로 LED 디바이스는 피부 질환, 암, 신경질환 등 인간 질병 치료에 널리 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

뜸의 특성 연구 방법론에 대한 문헌고찰 (Literature Review on Research Methodology Assessing Properties of Moxibustion)

  • Objectives : The aim of this review was to summarize and assess researches reporting thermal properties of moxibustion. Methods and Materials : We searched one electronic database(PubMed) and two journals(The Journal of Korean Medicine and The Journal of Korean Acupuncture & Moxibustion Society) and for the articles published until Nov. 2012. The articles reporting thermal characteristic of moxibustion were selected and reviewed. 31 articles were included and assessed in this review. The type of moxibustion, the material beneath moxbustion, main outcome and the amount of information were reviewed. The amount of information was defined as 1 for one main outcome reported in each article. Results : Direct moxibustion were used in 15 articles and indirect moxibustion were used in 19 articles. 11 researches used anti-heating plate for the material beneath moxibustion, one article used steel ring, agar with anti-heating plate, six articles used skin and another six articles used heater. Two articles used animals and another two articles used metals. The mean value of the amount of information was $4.41{\pm}2.94$(SD). Conclusions : Research articles assessing properties of moxibustion have been consistently published since 1993, and employed various methodologies. The amount of information has been associated with four section analysis and is currently decreasing. Research assessing properties of moxibustion with clinical effectiveness is needed.

극초단 펄스 레이저에 의한 절연체의 광학 손상 해석 (Numerical Analysis of Optical Damage in Dielectrics Irradiated by Ultra-Short Pulsed Lasers)

  • The present article reports extensive numerical results on the non-local characteristics of ultra-short pulsed laser-induced breakdowns of fused silica ($SiO_{2}$) by using the multivariate Fokker-Planck equation. The nonlocal type of multivariate Fokker-Planck equation is modeled on the basis of the Boltzmann transport formalism to describe the ultra-short pulsed laser-induced damage phenomena in the energy-position space, together with avalanche ionization, three-body recombination, and multiphoton ionization. Effects of electron avalanche, recombination, and multiphoton ionization on the electronic transport are examined. From the results, it is observed that the recombination becomes prominent and contributes to reduce substantially the rate of increase in electron number density when the electron density exceeds a certain threshold. With very intense laser irradiation, a strong absorption of laser energy takes place and an initially transparent solid is converted to a metallic state, well known as laser-induced breakdown. It is also found that full ionization is provided at intensities above threshold, all further laser energy is deposited within a thin skin depth.

태극 패턴 DNA 행렬 코드의 평형과 불평형 해석 (A Balanced and Unbalanced Analysis of the DNA Matrix Code of The Taegeuk Pattern)

  • The chromosomes of all the world are the same in all 24 pairs, but the key, skin color and appearance are different. Also, it is the resistance of adult disease, diabetes, cancer. In 1953, Watson, Crick of Cambridge University experimentally discovered a DNA double helix structure, and in 1962, They laureates the Nobel Prize. In 1964, Temin, University of Wisconsin, USA, experimentally identified the ability to copy gene information from RNA to DNA and received the Nobel Prize in 1975. In this paper, we analyzed 24 pairs of DNA chromosomes using mathematical matrices based on the combination order sequence of four groups, and designed the Taegeuk pattern genetic code for the first time in the world. In the case of normal persons, the middle Yin-Yang taegeuk is designed as a block circulant Jacket matrix in DNA, and the left-right and upper-lower pairs of east-west and north-south rulings are designed as pair complementary matrices. If (C U: A G) chromosomes are unbalanced, that is, people with disease or inheritance become squashed squirming patterns. In 2017, Professor Michel Young was awarded a Nobel by presenting a biological clock and experimentally explained the bio-imbalance through a yellow fruit fly experiment.This study proved mathematical matrices for balanced and unbalanced RNA.

압력과 온도측정 기능을 갖는 고성능 플렉시블 촉각센서 (High-Performance Multimodal Flexible Tactile Sensor Capable of Measuring Pressure and Temperature Simultaneously)

  • This paper presents a high-performance flexible tactile sensor based on inorganic silicon flexible electronics. We created 100 nm-thick semiconducting silicon ribbons equally distributed with 1 mm spacing and $8{\times}8$ arrays to sense the pressure distribution with high-sensitivity and repeatability. The organic silicon rubber substrate was used as a spring material to achieve both of mechanical flexibility and robustness. A thin copper layer was deposited and patterned on top of the pressure sensing layer to create a flexible temperature sensing layer. The fabricated tactile sensor was tested through a series of experiments. The results showed that the tactile sensor is capable of measuring pressure and temperature simultaneously and independently with high precision.

  • 최근 들어 인간과 컴퓨터의 상호작용을 통해 컴퓨터 시스템을 제어하는 기술에 관한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 이러한 응용분야의 대부분은 얼굴검출을 통해 사용자의 위치를 파악하고 사용자의 제스처를 인식하는 방법을 포함하고 있으나, 얼굴검출 성능은 아직 미흡한 실정이다. 사용자의 위치가 안정적으로 검출되지 못 하는 경우에는 제스처 인식 등의 인터페이스 성능은 현격하게 저하된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 피부색과 얼굴검출의 누적 분포를 이용하여 동영상에서 안정적으로 얼굴을 검출할 수 있는 알고리즘을 제안하고, 실험을 통해 알고리즘의 유용성을 증명하였다. 제안한 알고리즘은 대응행렬 분석을 적용하여 사람을 추적하는 분야에 응용이 가능하다.
