전자파 진향실 내 확산기 배열 조건에 따른 필드분포 특성 (Field Distribution Characteristics of A Reverberation Chamber with Different Conditions of Diffuser Arrangement)

  • 본 논문에서는 전자파 장해 및 복사내성 측정의 대용 시험시설로서 활용될 수 있는 전자파 잔향실의 전자기장 특성에 관하여 연구되었다. 전자파 잔향실 내부에서의 필드 균일성을 확보하기 위하여, Shroeder 방식의 Quadratic Residue 확산기(diffuser)를 설계한 후, 확산기의 방향에 따른 3가지 배열 형태로 잔향실 내부에 적용하여, 필두 분포를 해석하였다. FDTD(Finite-Difference Time-Domin) 수치해석 방식을 이용하여 잔향실 내부의 필드 특성을 연구한 결과 확산기를 부착한 3가지 형태 모두 최대 변화범위 $\pm$3 dB 이내의 필드 균일도를 나타내었으며, type 3, 대칭형 구조의 확산기 형태가 효율이 가장 우수하다는 결과를 나타내었다.

  • Electromagnetic Pulse Forming is the one of the high velocity forming method. When the electric energy which is charged in the capacitor bank is suddenly discharged into the electromagnetic coil, the high magnetic field occurs at the airgap between the electromagnetic coil and workpiece. Thus we can obtain the high electromagnetic pressure, which is proportional to the square of magnetic flux density. This is the basic principle of the electromagnetic pulse forming. In this paper, the equivalent L-R-C circuit is derived by computing the magnetic field and its loss of the total system. Thus, the values of the magnetic flux density and pressure can be obtained from the equation of this circuit. As a result, the computed and measured values of the maximum magnetic flux density and pressure are compared and the characteristics of the tapered field shaper are further discussed as follows; 1) The strength of magnetic flux density and pressure can be controlled by the charged energy and the size of the airgap between the inner field shaper and the workpiece. 2) During the design of the tapered field shaper, the penetration of the magnetic flux through the sharp edge should be considered.

전력구 내 전자기파에 대한 작업 환경 측정 (The Measurement of Electromagnetic Wave in Power Cable Tunnel of Underground Utility Tunnel)

  • Electromagnetic measurements of the power cable tunnel were conducted from August 10 to 20, 2018, in the ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ city underground utility tunnel. During this period, the average temperature was $31.89^{\circ}C$ and the humidity was 67.56% in power cable tunnel. As a result of the electromagnetic measurement, the highest electric field was 25.3 V/m and the magnetic flux density was $42.6{\mu}T$. The average electric field was 18.56 V/m and the magnetic flux density was $29.32{\mu}T$ in the power cable tunnel. As a result of comparison with the electric equipment technical standard, the electric field in the power cable tunnel was 0.5% of the electric equipment standard and 35.2% of the magnetic flux density. It's similar value that electric field is about robotic vacuum(15.53 V/m), and magnetic flux density is similar value about capsule- type coffee machine ($23.07{\mu}T$). The number of cable lines and the size of the electromagnetic waves were not proportional to each other through comparison of cable lines in the power cable tunnel. It was confirmed that 154 kV, rather than 22.9 kV, could have a greater influence on occupational.

  • In this paper, we studied the radiated electric field of power-line with DMT signal source in the frequency range of $1.7{\sim}30 MHz$. First, we made the midium voltage power-line communication model for PLC and calculated the current through the power-line using the impedance of the power-line model. Second, we calculated the radiated electric field in power range $-50{\sim}-30 dBm$ using the calculated current. Consequently, the calculated emissive electromagnetic field from the DMT signal is similar to the measured result. So this study is applicable to the standard regulation of electromagnetic interference for PLC.

  • This paper describes a measurement method for electromagnetic field strength of power-line communications(PLC) modem. First it outlines the technology used in PLC modems, and the technical regulation being offered to the technology, from the point of view of its effect on electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). The radio spectrum needs protection from other interferers, and there is a regime in place to provide this protection. Difficulties in achieving compatibility between the requirements for radio protection and the requirements for operation of the PLC modem mean that there is no consensus as yet as to how PLC modem components can be made compliant with EMC requirements globally. It is concluded that there is a measurement method according to CISPR standards which satisfy requirements in domestic regulation.

  • This paper presents the reduction characteristics of penetrated electromagnetic fields through a narrow slot aperture in a planar conducting screen of infinite extent. When a plane wave is excited to the narrow slot, the aperture electric field is controlled by the parallel plate connected on the slot. The magnitude of penetrated electromagnetic fields through a narrow slot is controlled by electric field distributions on the slot aperture. An integral equation for the aperture electric field on narrow slots is derived and solved by applying Galerkin's method of moments. The results show that the magnitude of the penetrated electromagnetic field can be effectively reduced by installing the parallel plate on the slot aperture.

  • This paper deals with coupled electromagnetic-thermal field analysis for thermal fluid analysis of oil immersed power transformer. Electric power losses are calculated from electromagnetic field analysis and are used as input source of thermal field analysis based on computational fluid dynamics(CFD). Particularly, In order to accurately predict the temperature rise in oil immersed power transformer, the thermal problem should be coupled with the electromagnetic problem. Moreover, to reduce analysis region, the heat transfer coefficient is applied to boundary surface of the power transformer model. The coupling method results are compared with the experimental values for verifying the validity of the analysis. The predicted temperature rises show good agreements with the experimental values.

  • This paper presents the electromagnetic field water treater system with the high performance for a good quality of water. The electromagnetic field water treater consists of a solion, a solion body. and a high voltage converter. The high voltage converter is controlled by PWM current controller. The high voltage converter of 13W is designed for an isolation operation ramp. an isolation current detector, and an over current protector. Using the high voltage PWM converter, the system with the proposed electromagnetic field water treater can be controlled easily. Simulation and experimental results show the effectiveness of the system strategy proposed for the scale rejection.

  • 본 논문에서는 Bell 연구소와 IEC 61000-2-9 기준에 제시된 HEMP 파형이 무한 도체 평판의 개구에 입사할 때, 개구로 침투하는 침투 전계 특성을 비교 검토하고 있다. 이론 해석으로는 HEMP의 전계 분포를 가정한 상태에서 도체 평판의 개구에 생성되는 전계 분포에 관한 적분 방정식을 유도하여 Galerkin의 모멘트 법으로 해석하였다. 이론 해석 결과, IEC 61000-2-9 기준이 Bell 연구소의 기준보다 낮은 주파수 대역을 제외하고 침투 전계는 크지만, 침투 전계의 주파수 특성 경향은 거의 동일하다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • Electromagnetic Forming (EMF) technology such as magnetic pulse forming, which is one of the high velocity forming methods, has been used for the joining and forming process in various industry fields. This method could be derived a series of deformation of sheet metal by using a strong magnetic field. In this study, numerical approach by finite element simulation of the electromagnetic forming process was presented. A transient electromagnetic finite element code was used to obtain the numerical model of the time-varying currents that are discharged through the coil in order to obtain the transient magnetic forces. Also, the body forces generated in electromagnetic field were used as the loading condition to analyze deformation of thin sheet metal workpiece using explicit dynamic finite element code. In this study, after finite element analysis for thin sheet metal forming process with free surface configuration was performed, analytical approach for a dimpled shape by using EMF was carried out. Furthermore, the simulated results of the dimpled shape by EMF were compared with that by a conventional solid tool in view of the deformed shape. From the results of finite element analysis, it is confirmed that the EMF process could be applied to thin sheet metal forming.
