  • The effect of reinforcing bars embedded in concrete varies depending on the position of the electrode in the electrical resistivity measurement. In this study, the apparent resistivity according to the electrode arrangement is analyzed for each measurement angle. Through this, it is intended to be used to improve the accuracy of measurement in the concrete resistivity.

전기산화를 이용한 Cyanide의 처리 (The Treatment of Cyanide by Electro-Oxidation)

  • This study based on electro-coagulation & oxidation reaction is applied to wastewater treatment. Electro-oxidation reaction is used to remove cyanide(CN) which is contained in plating wastewater. Cyanide is transferred by gases such as $NH_3,\;NO_x,\;CO_2$. Analysis result and removal efficiency of Cyanide which is contained in heavy metal wastewater of plating plant, are shown as following paragraph. In electrode arrangement experiment, removal efficiency of carbon electrode(-)/STS316L electrode(+) arrangement method is superior to carbon electrode(-)/carbon electrode(+) arrangement method. Removal efficiencies of cyanide in different HRT such as 30 min, 45 min, 60 min, 75 min and 90 min are 85.5%, 93.1%, 98.0%, 98.7% and 99.4% respectively in carbon electrode(-)/STS316L electrode(+) arrangement method. Finally we can estimate the critical point at HRT of 60 min which the variation of removal efficiency is decreased and HRT to obtain removal efficiency of less than 1 mg/LCN is minimum 90 min.

  • 본 논문에서는 뇌전도 바이오피드백 시스템을 위한 4채널 전두엽 전극 배치 및 JADE를 사용한 잡음 제거 방법을 제안하였다. 망막-각막 쌍극자 모델을 기반하여 4채널 전두엽 전극 배치를 제안하였으며, 이 배치에 의해서 얻은 신호에 대해서 JADE를 적용하여 4개의 독립 성분을 획득하였다. 각 독립 성분들 중에서 순수 뇌전도 성분을 추정하기 위해서 전체 신호에 대한 알파파비를 측정하여 그 값이 가장 큰 독립 성분을 잡음이 제거된 순수한 뇌전도로 추정하였다. 그 실험 결과 제안한 방법이 뇌전도 획득 과정에서 효과적으로 잡음을 제거함을 확인하였다.

  • The goal of this study if the optimization of discharge electrode for pulsed corona discharge reactor located in thermal power plant. For this purpose, we have performed experiments of NO$_{x}$ removal rate by exchange of discharge electrode diameter and arrangement of discharge electrode in the non -thermal plasma reaction facility using a ethylene as additive. If the diameter and numbers of discharge electrode were larger, the NO$_{x}$ removal rate was higher. From these results, if we optimized the shape and installed numbers of discharge electrode at the pilot plant, we could increase the NO$_{x}$ removal rate with less amount of additive than current amount.mount.

접지 그리드에서의 보조전극 배치에 따른 접지임피던스 측정 및 분석 (Measurement and Analysis of Ground Impedance according to Arrangement of Auxiliary Probe around Ground Grid)

  • This paper describes the measurement and analysis of ground impedance according to arrangement of auxiliary probe around ground grid using the fall-of-potential method and the testing techniques to minimize the measuring errors are proposed. The fall-of-potential method involves passing a current between a ground electrode and a current probe, and then measuring the voltage between a ground electrode and a potential probe. To minimize interelectrode influences due to mutual resistances, the current probe is a generally placed at a substantial distance from the ground electrode under test. In order to analyze the effects of ground impedance due to the arrangement of auxiliary probe and frequency, ground impedances were measured in case that the arrangements of auxiliary probe were straight line, perpendicular line, and horizontal line. The distance of current probe was located from 10[m] to 200[m] and the measuring frequency was ranged from 55[Hz] to 513[Hz]. As a consequence, the ground impedance increases with increasing the distance from the ground electrode to the point to be tested, but the ground impedance decreases with increasing the frequency.

활성탄전극의 분진제거에 대한 기초연구 (Preliminary Study on Dust Removal by Electrode-Plate Coated with Activated Carbon)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 분진제거를 목적으로 제작된 활성탄 전극의 적정 간격 및 적정 전압 그리고 분진 제거효율을 통하여 전극의 적정한 배열에 대하여 알아보고자 수행하였다. 여러 전극 간격 별로 수행한 실험결과로부터 분진의 부착 및 탈착의 빈도수는 전극의 간격이 가까워질수록 증가하였다. 전극 단위면적 당 분진 부착량은 전극간격이 멀어질수록 증가하였지만 총 부착량에 있어서는 전극간격이 가까울수록 전극의 설치수가 많아져서 증가하였다. 이와같은 실험결과로부터 분진제거 챔버에서 전극의 설치간격은 앞단의 경우는 분진 부하량이 높기 때문에 제거량이 많도록 전극의 간격을 멀리하고 후단은 제거효율을 높이기 위하여 전극간격을 가깝게 설치하는 것이 바람직하다고 사료되었다. 그리고 전압 5 kV, 전극간격 2 cm에서 전압의 변화에 따른 분진부착량 실험결과에서 전압의 변화와 부착량과는 상관관계가 없었다.

  • In this paper, flashover characteristics of air in the vertical arrangement of cylinder-shaped rod and plane gap in the case of combustion flame on the plane electrode were examined under the application of a.c. and d.c. high-voltages. In order to investigate the effect of propane flame on the flashover characteristics of air, flashover voltages in accordance with the variation of the gap length and the horizontal distance between the flame and the high-voltage rod electrode were measured. As the result of the experiment, flashover voltages in the presence of the flame were substantially lowered than those in the absence of flame, and the polarity effects with the d.c. voltages on appeared owing to the flame. Flashover voltages of air were increased in the proportion of the gap length and the horizontal distance in the case of both a.c. and d.c. voltages, but the flame was extinguished by such corona wind that was produced from the rod electrode when the gap length and the horizontal distance reached to a certain degree.

  • The resonance characteristics on vibration mode of a transverse type ceramic resonator and the output voltage characteristics of a piezoelectric ceramic transformer are discussed in the effects of partial electrode arrangement (one sided, centered and both sided). A resonance characteristics of resonator depended strongly on both a vibration mode and a electrode structure because of a strain distribution. The maximum resonance current of a piezoelectric ceramic transformer [PCT] with partial centered electrode appeared in λ/2 mode, and that of a PCT with partial both sided electrode appeared in 3λ/2 mode. But the maximum output voltage of those samples appeared in λ/2 mode. In the PCT with partial both sided electrode, the ration of output voltage to input current was highest out of all samples and the poling voltage was a half times of 깬두 type transformer.

  • Fiberglass - reinforced plastic (FRP) can have high breakdown puncture strength and has high mechanical strength. So the research of its dielectric properties have been conducted in liquid nitrogen(L$N_{2}$). In this study, we discussed the characteristics of surface flashover on FRP in L$N_{2}$ for applying it to spacer of a superconducting power equipment. We distinguished four types of surface flashover along solid insulator with arrangement of electrodes and tested the surface flashover voltage of each types of electrode arrangement. The type of a electrode set at the back of the insulator showed the worst dielectric property.

Effect of Electric Field Frequency on the AC Electrical Treeing Phenomena in an Epoxy/Reactive Diluent/Layered Silicate Nanocomposite

  • The effects of electric field frequency on the ac electrical treeing phenomena in an epoxy/reactive diluent/layered silicate (1.5 wt%) were carried out, in needle-plate electrode arrangement. A layered silicate was exfoliated in an epoxy base resin, by using our ac electric field apparatus. To measure the treeing propagation rate, constant alternating current (AC) of 10 kV with three different electric field frequencies (60, 500 and 1,000 Hz) was applied to the specimen, in needle-plate electrode arrangement, at $30^{\circ}C$ of insulating oil bath. As the electric field frequency increased, the treeing propagation rate increased. At 500 Hz, the treeing propagation rate of the epoxy/PG/nanosilicate system was $0.41{\times}10^{-3}$ mm/min, which was 3.4 times slower than that of the epoxy/PG system. The electrical treeing morphology was dense bush type at 60 Hz; however, as the frequency increased, the bush type was changed to branch type, having few branches, with very slow propagation rate.
