A Fuzzy PID Control of Nonholonomic Mobile Robot (Nonholonomic 모바일 로봇의 퍼지 PID제어)

  • In this paper. A PID motion controller based on the fuzzy concept is discussed for nonholonomic mobile robot. The difficulties in controlling such a Mobile robot vehicle lies in the fact that it usually has only two degrees of freedom for motion control in a tracking mode. It makes the control of speed and steering possible to decompose the error between the reference posture and the current posture. The Gyro compass is used to measure the position of robot. The proposed nonholonomic mobile robot is shown to follow the reference trajectory and compensate the dynamics. Simulation results are provided to validate the proposed controller. Experiments have been used to verify the effectiveness and robustness of the motion controller.

  • 본 논문에서는 1인승 전기차량 구동을 위한 병렬형 3상 인버터를 제안 하였다. 제안된 인버터는 전기차량의 부하 상태에 따라 하나 또는 두개의 인버터를 병렬로 사용하여 부하가 분담된 패턴으로 제어한다. 인버터의 전체적인 제어 방식으로는 유도 전동기를 위한 벡터제어와 공간벡터 변조방식을 적용 하였다. 본 연구의 타당성은 PSIM 시뮬레이션을 통하여 검증을 하고자 한다.

  • Brake system using eddy current is adequate to obtain safe braking force in high speed transportation system and electric vehicle etc. In this paper, we propose the new type eddy current braker using Halbach array. which compared with the conventional permanent magnet array. The airgap flux density of Halbach array is higher 25% then conventional array, therefor we can predict that braking force is much large 1.56 times then conventional array.

  • Switched Reluctance Motors(SRM) attract much attention in motor because they are reliable and inexpensive. With advance in power electronics and high-speed processors, the performance of SRM has been enhanced greatly But because of its geometric and magnetic structure, the switched reluctance motor naturally creates torque ripples during the commutations of the currents from a supplied phase to an other one. This paper presents the torque ripple reduction using hysteresis current control among of current control techniques.

  • In this material, a traction motor for light railway vehicle was developed. Aluminium -Diecasting process was selected in order to reduce the manufacturing cost of making rotor bars and rotor rings of the motor, instead of copper or copper alloy rotor bars and rotor rings. And the results of experiment satisfied the international standard IEC 349-2.

  • The TPS accepts as input, vehicle parameters. control parameters. station parameters and right-of-war profile. Outputs of TPS program include velocity elapsed time and power profiles. This paper represents how to develop the TPS program. The TPS program simulates the operation of a single train under the input conditions.

  • HILS(Hardware In-the-Loop Simulation) is an effective tool for design, performance evaluation and test of developed vehicle subsystems such as ABS(Antilock Brake System), suspension, and steering systems. This paper describes a HILS model for an ABS/ASR application. Also the implementation of HILS system for performance test of the ABS ECU(Electronic Control Unit) for commercial vehicles is presented.

  • Train control and monitoring system for the railway train requires a reliable real-time communication network. The system have various functions, diagnostics, passenger informations, and fault-tolerant controls. For this system, an international standard called TCN(Train Communication Network) is proposed by IEC and the train industries. The TCN is composed of two layers, wire train bus(WTB) and multifunction vehicle bus(MVB). This paper evaluates the performance of the proposed WTB and modified WTB. And computer simulations are performed. The evaluated results can be used for the fault tolerant network in the railway train system.

  • Tilting trains are now an established feature of railway operations throughout the world. For intercity traffic, tilt provides operators with increasing speeds, and therefore enhanced competitiveness, on existing routes where insufficient traffic or a lack of funds precludes the construction of a dedicated new high-speed railway. Appling the tilting train, we can expect 30% of speed up on existing lines, but the stability of the electric current would be low because of tilting the train. Also, the spark between the catenary and pantagraph cause environmental problems such as noise, radio wave malfunction. Therefore, the tilting on pantagraph for the power suppling device is very essential for stable electric power supply.

  • In order to speed up basic concept is to enhance high speed, curve limit speed, cross limit speed, acceleration/deceleration speed. It is important to optimal interface fundamental technology of vehicle, rail, electrical power, and signal system. Tilting train has advantage minimizing investment cost of infra railway system for increasing train limit speed in curve. the developed tilting train should be operated to commercial service speed 180Km/h of 200Km/h at KNR upgrade railroad. This paper proposed the basic model of system engineering for developing of tilting EMU (maximum operation speed : 180km/h) with speed-up of conventional railway system.
