CoFeHfO 박막의 자기적 특성 (Soft Magnetic Properties of CoFeHfO Thin Films)

  • RF magnetron reactive sputtering법으로 CoFeHfO 박막을 상온에서 제작하여 산소분압에 따른 포화자화, 보자력, 이방성자계를 조사하였다. 최적조건인 산소분압 8%에서 제조한 $Co_{39}Fe_{34}Hf_{9.5}O_{17.5}$ 박막은 포자자속밀도($4{\pi}M_s$) 19kG, 보자력($H_c$) 0.37Oe, 이방성자계($H_k$) 48.62Oe의 우수한 연자성을 나타내었다. CoFeHfO 박막의 전기비저항은 산소분압이 늘어남에 따라 증가하는 경향을 나타내었으며 우수한 연자기적 성질을 가지는 $Co_{39}Fe_{34}Hf_{9.5}O_{17.5}$ 박막의 경우, 300 ${\mu}{\Omega}cm$의 높은 전기비저항과 48.62 Oe의 높은 이방성자계 때문에 $Co_{39}Fe_{34}Hf_{9.5}O_{17.5}$박막이 고주파에서 우수한 연자기 특성을 가지는 것으로 사료된다.

  • This paper proposes a core loss analysis method to obtain high accuracy prediction by using Multi-curve representing magnetic properties of a electrical steel in Finite Element Analysis (FEA). Generally, the magnetic prosperities of the electrical steel are measured by Epstein Method based on the international standards that are not good sufficient to predict motor performances. The method only aims to grade products in steel companies The magnetic properties of actual stator core is highly different to those given by steel companies due to the fact that stacking effect, shearing stress, nature anisotropy of electrical steels are not taken into account. In this paper, the magnetic properties are variously measured by three measuring devices, and then the several BH curves and BW curves obtained are used to analyze the core loss of a IPM. The BH curve in the high magnetic field are extrapolated using the mathematical formulation with the maximum saturation magnetic polarization measured

Electrical Properties of Poly (1,4-phenylene vinylene-co-2,5-dimethoxy-1,4-phenylene vinylene)s and Poly(1,4-phenylene vinylene-co-2,5-thienylene vinylene)s

  • The temperature dependence of electrical conductivities and thermoelectric power of $I_2$-doped poly(1,4-penylene vinylene-co-2,5-dimethoxy-1,4-phenylene vinylene)s [poly(PV-co-DMPV)] and poly(1,4-phenylene vinylene-co-2,5-thienylene vinylene)s [poly(PV-co-TV)] were studied. The former copolymers were also doped with $FeCl_3$. All the samples used were in thin film forms. The temperature dependence of electrical conductivity implies that the variable range hopping conduction mechanism applises to these systems. The activation energy for the electrical conduction in dimethoxy-phenylene vinylene (DMPV) copolymers ranged from about 7 to 30 meV depending on the polymer composition and the nature of the dopant. It was significantly higher for $I_2$-doped thienylene vinylene (TV) copolymers, namely 90-200 meV. The values of the room temperature thermoelectric power were $30-70{\mu}V/K$ for DMPV copolymer and $100-800{\mu}V/K$ for TV copolymers. Anisotropy in the electrical conductivities was also studied for oriented films obtained by uniaxial stretching of the precursor polymer films.

임프린팅법을 이용한 YSnO 박막의 표면 이방성 획득과 액정 배향 특성 연구 (Homogeneous Liquid Crystal Alignment on Anisotropic YSnO Surface by Imprinting Method)

  • We investigated a solution-driven Yttrium Tin Oxide (YSnO) film that was imprinted using a parallel nanostructure as a liquid crystal (LC) alignment layer. The imprinting process was conducted at the annealing temperature of 100℃. To evaluate the effect of this process, we conducted surface analyses including atomic force microscopy (AFM). During imprinting, the surface roughness was reduced, and anisotropic characteristics were observed. Planar LC alignment was observed at a pretilt angle of 0.22° on YSnO film. Surface anisotropy induced by imprinting method forces LC to align along the direction of the parallel nanostructure, which is an alternative to conventional polyimide treated using a rubbing process.

고자장 자석용 1.8T HTS insert 코일 개발 (Development of a 1.8T HTS Insert Coil for High Field Magnet)

  • We designed and manufactured a 1.8T high temperature superconducting(HTS) insert coil for a NMR magnet operated at 4.2 K. Suitable HTS superconductor and HTS coil were carefully designed and developed. We have selected multi-filamentary Bi2223 conductor fabricated by American Superconductor Corporation(AMSC). The selected conductor consists of Bi2223 filaments of 55, silver stabilizer and stainless steel reinforcement tapes. Therefore, it shows good hoop strength as well as compression tolerance. The conductor has a tape cross-section of 0.31mm x 4.8mm. the Bi2223 conductor shows large anisotropy of critical current. The critical current of conductor in magnetic field parallel to the flat surface are much higher than that in magnetic field perpendicular. The HTS coil has an inner diameter of 78 mm, an outer diameter of 127 mm and a coil length of 600 mm. In this paper, the detailed design, fabrication and test results on the HTS insert coil are presented.

  • The sintering phenomena, electrical resistivity, dielectric and piezoelectric properties of lead titanate ceramics modified by the partial substitution of La for Pb and Mn for Ti, (Pb1-1.5xLax)(Ti1-yMny)O3 ceramics, have been investigated. In (Pb1-1.5xLax)(Ti1-yMny)O3 system, with increasing lanthanum content, the realtive bulk density increased, but the Curie point and tetragonality (c/a) decreased.   • We have studied the influence of rubbing directions on electro-optic characteristics of the fringe field driven hybrid aligned nematic liquid crystal (LC) cell by computer simulation. When a LC with positive dielectric anisotropy is used, the results show that the driving voltage and transmittance decreases as the rubbing direction with respect to horizontal electric field direction increases. The reason for decrease in light transmission is the increase of tilt angle on the center of common electrode. In this paper, we have studied how the rubbing angle effects on the transmittance of the cell by investigating a distribution of electric field and LC director.

  • The mechanisms of pretilt angle generation for a nematic liquid crystal (NLC) with negative dielectric anisotropy on the blended polyimide (PI) surface containing trifluoromethyl moiety was studied. High LC pretilt angle on the blended polymer surface with F3 was measured and the pretilt angle increased with rubbing strength. However, the low LC pretilt angle on the blended polymer surface with F1 and F2 was measured. The high LC pretilt angle generated is attributable to trifluoromethyl moiety in backbone structure on the blended PI surface. Therefore, the high pretilt angle of NLC can be achieved by using the blended polymer surface.

  • We have carried out two-beam interference experiments to form holographic gratings on amorphous $MgF_2$/As-Ge-Se-S multi-layer. In this study, holographic gratings have been formed using He-Ne laser(632.8nm). under different polarization combinations. The diffraction efficiency was obtained by +1st order intensity. The maximum diffraction efficiency of As-Ge-Se-S single layer and $MgF_2$/As-Ge-Se-S multi-layer were 0.8% and 1.4%

촉각시스템을 위한 그래픽 변형 알고리즘 (Graphic Deformation Algorithm for Haptic Interface System)

  • In this paper, we propose a new graphic deformation algorithm for haptic interface system. Our deformable model is based on non-linear elasticity, anisotropy behavior and the finite element method. Also we developed controller for high-speed communication. The proposed controller is based on the PCI/FPGA technology, which could progress the capability of the position calculating and the force data transmitting. The haptic system is composed of the 6DOF force display device, the high-speed controller, HIR library for 3D graphic deformation algorithm and the haptic rendering algorithm. The developed system will be used on constructing the dynamical virtual environment. We demonstrate the relevance of this approach for the real-time simulating deformations of elastic objects. To show the efficiency of our system, we programmed the simulation of force reflecting. As the result of experiment, we found that it has high stability and easy to control for deformable object than some other systems.
