보육교사의 직무스트레스와 자기효능감 (A Job Stress and Self-Efficacy of Child Care Teachers)

  • The Teachers' Job Stress Scale(D'Arienzo, 1981) and the General Self-Efficacy Scale(Kim & Cho, 1996) were used to study 170 child care teachers. Data were analyzed by one-way ANOVA, Pearson's partial correlation, stepwise multiple regression(forward), path analysis, Internal consistency(Cronbach's $\alpha$), and factor analysis. Results showed that job stress was low for teachers of the national child care center, university graduates, higher salaried, and married teachers. Self-efficacy was high among teachers with more than 2 years experience, married status, and previous experience. Correlation between teacher's job stress and self-efficacy was -.19. Self-efficacy and demographic variables for job stress explained 8~22% of the variability. Self-efficacy intermediated between job stress and demographic variables. Monthly salary directly affected job stress.

Impact of School Career Assistance on Improving Self-efficacy: Moderating Effects of Grit and Regulatory Focus

  • Self-efficacy is a major factor related to performance and needs to be improved in business and education field. This study explains the effectiveness of school career assistance to improve college students' self-efficacy. Furthermore, it demonstrates the moderating effects of grit and regulatory focus (promote and prevention). School career assistance is based on group support, and moderating variables in this paper are individual characteristics. In these group and individual dimensions, if the effectiveness of school career assistance varies depending on individual characteristics, schools will be able to establish self-efficacy improvement strategies more appropriate for individual students. School would understand individual characteristics such as grit and regulatory focus, then could make individual strategy for enhancing self-efficacy and performance. Hence, it is expected that the performance of school and student will improve through the self-efficacy improvement plan presented in this study.

삶의 만족도에 대한 사회적, 심리적 요인의 상대적 영향력에 관한 연구 :창업자와 임금근로자 비교를 중심으로 (The Relative Influence of Social and Psychological Factors on Life Satisfaction : Comparison of Entrepreneur and Paid employee)

  • 본 연구는 서울시민의 삶의 만족도에 관한 연구로서, 삶의 만족도에 대한 고용 형태(창업자/임금근로자)와 사회적(사회자본) 및 심리적 요인(자기효능감)의 상대적인 영향력을 살펴본 연구이다. 서울시복지패널 데이터를 이용한 실증 연구 결과, 심리적 요인의 영향력이 가장 컸으며, 경제적 요인(가계소득 수준), 사회적 요인 순으로 나타났다. 고용 형태 역시 삶의 만족도에 유의한 요인이었는데, 임금근로자가 창업자에 비해 삶의 만족도가 높았고, 임금 근로자의 경우 경제적 요인이외에 자기효능감과 규범, 비공식네트워크 참여도, 비영리기관 신뢰도가 삶의 만족도에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 창업자는 경제적 및 심리적 요인과 사회적 요인 중에서 규범만이 유의하였다. 끝으로 연구 결과를 토대로 일자리 창출과 시민들의 삶의 만족도 향상을 지향하는 정책 실무자들을 위한 실천적 시사점을 제시하였다.

여고생의 의복행동과 자기효능감 및 감각추구성향과의 관련 연구 (Female Adolescents' Clothing Behavior as Related to Self-Efficacy and Sensation Seeking)

  • The purpose of this study were 1) to identify the effects of the self-efficacy, sensation seeking and delinquency on female adolescents' clothing behavior, and 2) to identify the differences in self-efficacy, sensation seeking, deliquency and clothing behavior in relation to the demographic variables. The data were collected from 435 high school girls living in Seoul, via a self-administered questionnaires, and were analyzed by factor analysis, Peason's correlation, multiple regression, one-way ANOVA and SNK test. The result of this study were as follows: As the result of analyzing the effects of self-efficacy, efficacy, sensating seeking and delinquency on each of clothing behavior variables, fashion leadership was explained by the factors such as social self-efficacy, delinquency and boredom susceptibility, and psychological clothing dependence by boredom susceptibility, social self-efficacy, and thrill and adventure, clothing exhibition by boredom susceptibility, delinquency, and general self-efficacy, social approval by boredom susceptibility, and general self-efficacy, preference for up-to-data style by delinquency, boredom susceptibility by delinquency, boredom susceptibility. There were significant differences between the two types of school in general self-efficacy, thrill and adventure, experience seeking, delinquency, preference for up-to-data style, and appearance related delinquency. Location of school had the effects on experience seeking, delinquency, fashion leadership, and appearance related delinquency, and socioeconomic status on fashion leadership.

초등학교 교사들의 수학 교수 효능감 실태 분석 (Analysis of Elementary School Teachers' Efficacy on Mathematics Teaching)

  • 이 연구는 우리나라 초등 교사들의 수학 교수 효능감이 어느 정도인지를 강문봉과 김정하가 개발한 측정 도구를 이용하여 분석한 것이다. 초등학교 교사 183명을 대상으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과 초등학교 교사들의 수학 교수 효능감은 100점 만점으로 볼 때 64점 정도의 높은 수준이며, 남교사와 여교사 사이에는 유의한 차이가 없었다. 경력 면에서 볼 때는 성장기 교사의 효능감이 가장 낮았다. 수학교육 관련 전공자의 수학 교수 효능감이 비수학교육 관련 전공자들의 것보다 유의하게 높았으며, 수학 관련 연수 활동의 횟수가 많을수록 효능감이 높다.

Oxidative Stress, Nrf2, and Epigenetic Modification Contribute to Anticancer Drug Resistance

  • Nuclear factor E2-related factor 2 (Nrf2), a transcription factor, controls the expression of genes encoding cytoprotective proteins, including antioxidant enzymes that combat oxidative and electrophilic stress to maintain redox homeostasis. However, recent studies demonstrated that, in cancer, aberrant activation of Nrf2 by epigenetic alterations promotes high expression of cytoprotective proteins, which can decrease the efficacy of anticancer drugs used for chemotherapy. In this review, we summarize recent findings regarding the relationship between oxidative stress, Nrf2, epigenetic modification, and anticancer drug resistance, which should aid in development of new strategies to improve chemotherapeutic efficacy.

C4I 시스템 사용의 영향 요인에 관한 연구: 구조모형의 매개변수의 관점에서 (A Study of Influencing Factors Upon Using C4I Systems: The Perspective of Mediating Variables in a Structured Model)

  • The general aspects for the future warfare shows that the concept of firepower and maneuver centric warfare has been replacing with that of information and knowledge centric warfare. Thus, some developed countries are now trying to establish the information systems to perform intelligent warfare and innovate defense operations. The C4I(Command, Control, Communication, Computers and Intelligence for the Warrior) systems make it possible to do modern and systematic war operations. The basic idea of this study is to investigate how TAM(Technology Acceptance Model) can explain the acceptance behavior in military organizations. Because TAM is inadequate in explaining the acceptance processes forcomplex technologies and strict organizations, a revised research model based upon TAM was developed in order to assess the usage of the C4I system. The purpose of this study is to investigate factors affecting the usage of C4I in the Korean Army. The research model, based upon TAM, was extended through a belief construct such as self-efficacy as one of mediating variables. The self-efficacy has been used as a mediating variable for technology acceptance, and the variable was included in the research model. The external variables were selected on the basis of previous research. The external variables can be classified into following: 1) technological, 2) organizational, and 3) environmental factors on the basis of TOE(Technology-Organization-Environment) framework. The technological factor includes the information quality and the task-technology fitness. The organizational factor includes the influence of senior colleagues. The environmental factor includes the education/train data. The external variables are considered very important for explaining the behavior patterns of information technology or systems. A structured questionnaire was developed and administrated to those who were using the C4I system. Total 329 data were used for statistical data analyses. A confirmatory factor analysis and structured equation model were used as main statistical methods. Model fitness Indexes for measurement and structured models were verified before all 18 hypotheses were tested. This study shows that the perceived usefulness and the self-efficacy played their roles more than the perceived ease of use did in TAM. In military organizations, the perceived usefulness showed its mediating effects between external variables and dependent variable, but the perceived ease of use did not. These results imply that the perceived usefulness can explain the acceptance processes better than the perceived ease of use in the army. The self-efficacy was also used as one of the three mediating variables, and showed its mediating effects in explaining the acceptance processes. Such results also show that the self-efficacy can be selected as one possible belief construct in TAM. The perceived usefulness was influenced by such factors as senior colleagues, the information quality, and the task-technology fitness. The self-efficacy was affected by education/train and task-technology fitness. The actual usage of C4I was influenced not by the perceived ease of use but by the perceived usefulness and selfefficacy. This study suggests the followings: (1) An extended TAM can be applied to such strict organizations as the army; (2) Three mediation variables are included in the research model and tested at real situations; and (3) Several other implications are discussed.

한국 대학생을 대상으로 한 음주거절효능감 도구 [Drinking Refusal Self-Efficacy Questionnaire-Revised: DRSEQ-R]의 신뢰도 및 타당도 검증 (The Reliability and Validity of a Drinking Refusal Self-Efficacy Questionnaire-Revised (DRSEQ-R) in Korean College Students)

  • Purpose: This study was to test the reliability and validity of a Drinking Refusal Self-Efficacy Questionnaire-Revised (DRSEQ-R) in Korean college students, Methods: The DRSEQ-R was designed to assess an individual's belief in their ability to refuse drinking alcohol by Oei et al. (2005) and consisted of three factors (social pressure, opportunity, and emotional relief). A methodological study design with an exploratory factor analysis for validity and correlation coefficients for reliability was used. DRSEQ-R was translated into Korean and a translation equivalency was obtained. DRSEQ-R was tested with a sample of 201 college students in Korea. The subjects consisted of 106 males and 95 females. Principal component factor analysis was used for construct validity and Cronbach's alpha was used to evaluate for internal consistency of the instrument. Results: The factor analysis showed three factors explaining 66.3% of total variance and the corresponding factors were emotional relief (48.01%), drinking contextual opportunity (11.18%), and social pressure (7.14%). The internal consistency was acceptable (Cronbach's alpha=.937). All three factors of DRSEQ-R negatively correlated with alcohol dependency and a heavy drinker showed a lower DRSEQ-R than a moderate drinker. Conclusion: Based on the findings, DRSEQ-R is a reliable and valid instrument to measure for drinking refusal self-efficacy in Korean college students.

대학생의 학업성취도 예측요인 연구 : J 대학을 중심으로 (A Study on Predictors of Academic Achievement in College Students : Focused on J University)

  • 본 연구는 대학생의 학업성취 예측모형을 구축하여, 각 요인간의 상호관계와 상대적 영향력을 밝히는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 J 대학 재학생 1,310명의 학습자 개인요인과 학습전략 요인을 설문하였으며, 그 결과를 데이터마이닝 기법인 의사결정나무 분석을 통하여 학업성취 예측요인의 변별과 패턴을 분석하고, 각 요인의 상대적 영향력을 살펴보기 위한 이항 로지스틱 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 학업성취를 예측하는 가장 중요한 요인은 효능감으로 나타났으며, 이외 학습동기, 시간관리, 우울이 학업성취를 예측하는 요인으로 나타났다. 학업성취를 예측하는 요인의 패턴은 효능감과 시간관리 수준이 높은 경우와 효능감이 중간 수준이더라도 학습동기가 높은 경우로 나타났다. 효능감과 학습동기가 낮거나 우울이 높은 경우 학업성취를 감소시키는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 대학생의 학업성취 향상을 위한 효능감과 학습동기 향상, 시간관리 교육 강화, 부정적 정서 관리 등을 제안하였다.

한국어판 단축형 만성질환관리 자기효능감 도구의 타당도와 신뢰도 검증 (Validity and Reliability of Korean Version of the Self-Efficacy for Managing Chronic Disease 6-Item Scale)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine the validity and reliability of the Korean version of the self-efficacy for managing chronic disease 6-item scale (SECD-6-K). Methods: The English version of the Self-Efficacy for Managing Chronic Disease 6-item Scale first underwent forward and backward translation procedures. The SECD-6-K was then used to collect data from 350 adults diagnosed with chronic diseases. Content, construct, convergent, discriminant, and criterion validity were all evaluated. Reliability was assessed using Cronbach's α. SPSS 25.0 and the data were analyzed using AMOS 26.0 software. Results: The SECD-6-K consists of six items in two domains: disease management and health behavior. The results for construct, convergent, and discriminant validity were good. Exploratory factor analysis produced eigen values between 2.27 and 3.28, with factors total explained cumulative variance of 91.1%. Confirmatory factor analysis supported goodness of fit and reliability for the modified SECD-6-K model. The criterion validity also showed significant correlation with both the Patient Health Questionnaire and 12-item Short-Form Health Survey version 2. Finally, reliability was found to be excellent. Conclusion: This study identified the high reliability and validity of SECD-6-K. The SECD-6-K is an appropriate tool for determining Korean patients' self-efficacy in managing their chronic conditions. Therefore, this scale may be used in clinical settings as well as in educational and research settings.
