Introduction : Nursing as a profession is gelling wide acceptance today, especially among independent -minded women with necessary physical, mental and academic qualifications. This is particularly true of "comprehensive nursing", which requires to total dedication on the part if the nurse herself-physical, mental and sociocultural. Such comprehensive approach is like-wise called for in the institutional training of professional nurses. Undergraduate nursing courses nowadays place an increasing emphasis on the microscopic approach of training a nurse as an intelligent and well-balanced human being with an optimum degree of cultural sophistication. Greater attention then ever before is now paid to close observation of the individual traits and aptitude of nursing students, so as to permit full development of individual capabilities, interests and propensities within the concept of "comprehensive human education. " Purpose of study 1. To determine the degree of understanding of the part of nursing students of the various aspects of the subject taught in undergraduate nursing course. 2. To determine the motivation of nursing students in choosing the profession and possible subsequent change or attitude and outlook in the course of under graduated studies, as a means of presenting a new practical approach in nursing training based on the concept of "comprehensive human education. " Problems of study 1. The environments of nursing training will impinge on individual nursing students with different psychological impacts from lower to upper classes of under graduated studies. 2. Educational environments will have varying psychological impacts on students: a. Difference in religious faith among students. b. Difference in campus environments. c. Difference in domestic (family) circumstances. d. Difference in innate capabilities of students, 3. The understanding and attitude of individual nursing students towards the science of nursing will Have a close correlation with their respective motivations in choosing-nursing as a profession, and will also be closely influenced by the peculiarities of the subject taught, tile campus environments, etc, Delimitations of the study 1. Two universities offering 4-year nursing courses were selected. Due to the limited number of potential subjects, the optimum conditions of sample collection could not be fulfilled. 2. Subjects were confined to two classes in each university (sophomores and seniors) but without regard to the ages or scholastic achievements of individual students. 3. The conclusions derived from this study should be limited in application to the subject groups covered by the present study: they should not in any event be extended or applied to other groups. Procedures 1. Subjects: 40 nursing students each from the sophomore and senior classes of the "Y" and "K" universities situated in Seoul, aggregating 160 students altogether. 2. Instruments: Use has been made of questionnaires on (1) family backgrounds and (2) general information concerning. 3. Statistical Method: The findings of the present survey have been subjected to critical analysis as to the means, percentages, Cgi squares (X), standard deviations and the significance of the difference in means. Findings 1. Nursing students have chosen their subject of study with a confident outlook towards their future in society. 2. Horsing students have the necessary abilities to complete the prescribed courses of study. 3. The campus life of nursing students has been judged as very constructive, not with-standing certain in adequacies in the available educational facilities and the shortages of teaching staff. 4. The achievement levels of nursing trainees varied greatly according to their respective educational environments as well as their school years. 5. Clear and definite distinctions were discernible between the two universities as regards certain aspects of this survey, while no signifiant difference was observed in other: a. Sophomores and seniors in both universities gave nearly identical answers to questions concerning (1) motivation in choosing nursing as a profession, and (2) the way of spending leisure hours. b. Both universities revealed similar respective differences between sophomores and seniors as regards the abilities of fulfilling academic requirements ill the basic subjects. c. Educational environments have been found to be somewhat superior in the "Y"university to those of the "K" university, particularly as regard general campus and dormitory conditions. d. The high degree of dissatisfaction with the faculty, found in both universities, was considered to be a consequence of the universal phenomenon of "brain drain" and the relative neglect of the "comprehensive approach"in education.
To analyze dental hygienists and other manpower at dental care service institutions where a dental coordinator was working among about 200 dental care service institutions in Seoul, Gyeonggi Province, and Incheon as of June 2005 for contents of training for dental coordinators, opinions of qualification of dental coordinators, present and future services provided by dental coordinators, and awareness of dental coordinators and to provide basic data about future services, roles, and cultivation of dental coordinators, a survey was conducted and 216 copies returned were analyzed, obtaining the following results. 1. 83.8 percent needed an educational program for dental coordinators as an educational content; 41.7% had awareness of the educational content; and 83.8 percent insisted that over the intermediate level of curricula should be taken. Dental coordinator cultivation institutions identified included the institution under the control of the Korean Dental Hygienists Association and the education center for the department of dental hygiene; 76.9% insisted that an appropriate qualifying examination should be necessary. They suggested the central government department and the local government as a certification institution; 39.4% insisted that financial support for the education should be provided by financing education alone. Only 28.7% experienced dental coordinator education and 73.1% hoped to serve as a dental coordinator. They were found to expect a rise in payment(64.4%) and in the title(46.8%) after completion of the educational program. 2. 66.2% saw a dental hygienist as the most appropriate for a dental coordinator; clinical career (39.4%) and practical capacity(29.2%) were suggested as requirements for a dental coordinator; and a period of over three years(47.2%) was suggested for appropriate dental career. 3. Dental coordinators' present services included 'reservation management' for customer management, 'staff service training' for organization management, 'understanding of customer reception attitudes and actions' for self-management, 'hospital information management' for hospital marketing, 'acceptance' for hospital affairs management, and 'hospital environment management' for hospital facilities management; their future services included 'acquisition of ability to use a foreign language' for self-management, followed by 'staff service training' for organization management, 'training and counseling' for customer management, 'acquisition of counseling capacity' for self-management, 'complaining customer reception' for customer management, and 'marketing strategy implementation' for hospital marketing. 4. After comparing dental hygienists and other manpower in terms of dental coordinators' future services, dental hygienists showed interest in 'acquisition of ability to use a foreign language,' 'staff service training,' 'complaining customer reception,' and 'acquisition of counseling capacity' while other manpower showed interest in 'acquisition of ability to use a foreign language,' 'document data management,' 'acquisition of basic service manner,' 'acquisition of counseling capacity,' 'manpower management,' 'establishment and evaluation of a marketing strategy,' and 'education and counseling.' 5. As for awareness of dental coordinators, they were thought of as helpful in improving image of a dental clinic; it was found that continuous training should be necessary to develop dental coordinators' capacity; dental coordinators' services should be important and contribute to patients' qualitative satisfaction.
Customer Support Knowledge of Customer Support Organization is one of the important assets of enterprises and "Customer Support Knowledge Management" is also the critical aspect of Business Knowledge Management; however, the attributes of Customer Support Knowledge are complicated, diverse, renewed rapidly and difficult to be managed. Thus, in order to design a successful Customer Support Knowledge Management System, apart from the consideration of "human" and "information technology" aspects, the concerns of attributes and Customer Support Knowledge and industry characteristics should be involved for meeting the requirements of Customer Support Organization and allowing the organization to acquire the competitive advantage of "Differentiation Service". This research used the "Customer Support Knowledge Management System" in a high-tech industry as an example and treated the end users of medical instruments in different types of hospitals in Taiwan which have received the support service of our company in recent six months as the population. The end users were mostly the nursing executives or ultrasonic wave technical personnel in intensive care unit and they had similar educational background and incomes and adopted the medical instruments such as physical supervision system, ultrasonic wave system, heart start or ECG machine produced by our company; the research method was to randomly treat the investigation results of the telephone customers' satisfaction from respective 30 end users in the population three months before and after this system execution as the samples and use hypotheses to validate if the end users' customer satisfaction significantly improved in terms of "Remote Support," "On-site Support," "Service Turn Around time," "Technical Competence" and "Manner" in order to understand the influence and managerial significance of execution of "Customer Support Knowledge Management System" on Customer Support Organization.

In accordance with the government's plan to expand the national health insurance (NHI) coverage for severe diseases such as cancer, heart disease, cerebrovascular disease, and rare and incurable disease, the diagnostic ultrasound services have been covered by NHI from October 1, 2013. The quality is very important factor in providing diagnostic services because they influence on the diagnosis, treatment, and outcome of diseases. In particular, equipments and health care providers plays an important role in providing qualitative services. The purpose of this paper is to examine the major feature of ultrasound services covered by health security system and to review quality assurance policies in other countries such as Australia, Japan, the USA, and Canada. In addition, we assessed the implication of those policies. We especially put emphasis on the types and qualifications of healthcare professionals and measures to manage equipments. All countries have reviewed on policies to promote the quality such as educational requirements of professionals or restrictions on the duration of equipment usage. Various measures should be implemented to assure the qualitative ultrasound service.
Objectives : Periodontal disease is a serious oral disease that frequently occurs among adults. The objective of this study is to provide necessary data for the development of an oral health care program that can effectively manage periodontal disease and subsequently maintain and enhance oral health. Methods : Data was collected from patients of a dental clinic in Daejeon, Korea from 1 July to 25 August 2009. A thesis submitted to the Committee of Graduate School of Public Health & Biotechnology Chungnam National University in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Public Health conferred in February, 2010. Results : 68% of the patients were aware of periodontal disease, with older patients exhibiting better awareness. 48.0% replied that their periodontal health is good in general, with older patients inclined to say that their periodontal health was poor. 70.5% cited bad brushing habit or skipping the act of tooth brushing as the cause of periodontal disease, while 63.5% reported brushing their teeth an average of 3 times a day. 56.5% said that they brush their teeth correctly, and 63.5% told that they brush their teeth up and down, and left to right and 70.0% replied that they would attend an educational program for the prevention of periodontal disease, with older patients shown to more likely attend such a program. Conclusion : a program that can motivate people to become aware of the importance of oral health care should be developed and implemented. Such a program should include the dissemination of correct and accurate oral health care information and measures for educating people about the importance of prevention.
Current Mathematics of CSAT(College Scholastic Ability Test) faced with preparing the test system and test items according to the new curriculum. The discuss about how to construct the items and what form of items should be set was not conducted enough. To accord with these requirements, in this study, mathematics exams for university entrance in Taiwan are investigated. We look into General Scholastic Ability Test(GSAT) and Advanced Subjects Test(AST) in Taiwan. Those exams are analyzed in terms of exam system, mathematical contents, types of items, and so on. And then on the basis of this, we discuss implications on mathematics assessment type and contents, further mathematics learning.

To meet changing education needs due to globalization, interdisciplinary convergence, and ICT development, it is necessary for engineering disciplines to provide student-centered education. Not only do teaching methods using ICT reproduce teaching contents in a digital format, but they are also expected to be effective media for constructive student-centered learning whereby learners build knowledge themselves. The aim of this study was to develop a tool for safety education using virtual reality technology. To achieve the objectives, the author defined the requirements and constraints of the tool, and implemented a 3D educational tool in a virtual reality environment. A pilot test with 10 students showed positive results.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the professional self-concept and job satisfaction of clinical nurses. The subjects consisted of 569 nurses who work at a university hospital and 6 general hospitals in Daegu, Kyungpook and Kyungnam. The findings are as follows : The average item score of professional self concept was 2.68. The mean item scores of professional self-concept in each dimension were as follows: 2.77 for professional practice: 2.33 for satisfaction: 2.91 for communication. The average item score of job satisfaction was 2.79. The mean item scores of job satisfaction in each dimension were as follows: 3.39 for interaction : 3.27 for professional status; 3.19 for autonomy : 2.90 for doctor-nurse relationship: 2.57 for administration: 2.41 for task requirements: 2.16 for pay. The stronger a subject's professional self-concept, the stronger the job satisfaction. The relationship between general characteristics and professional self-concept shows a significant difference with regard to age, religion, marital status, period of nursing career, and position. In conclusion, this study suggests that we need to develop a program for improving professional self-concept of clinical nurses through nursing education.

Being in era of the digital economy, the influence of IT that effects on our economy is getting greater. Along with this effect, IT becomes origin of predominance of competition in every category of industry. Regarding new trends in industry, how companies mutate their IT skill become important factor. Every industry has their own color and environment of IT and uncertainty is different. For a company, It is most important to plan own strategy with strategic view on industrial environment. The idea of this study is to find the difference of Skill Requirement and Job Requirement in every category of industry by find what are the most important jobs and skills of IT in every industry and to analyze the results. The second idea is to find what kinds of skill are required in every sector of job. Base on the analyzed data, we classified the uncertainty in every industry by Duncan′s "classification of environment", and extracted some pattern within the skill and job in industry that found in our study by applying OIP model. We set skills by categorized curriculum of specialized IT education center, then with IT specialist, checked and retouched the results and surveyed with IT people in every industry on skill set and job of IT. The summery of this study is as follow : 1. Importance of IT skill is differentiated in each industry. It shows that IT skills, which requested in a field are differentiated by uncertainty of environment that comes from the character of industry. 2. Importance of IT job differs by the fields of industry. It shows as IT skills are differentiated, the importance of job that apply these skills is differentiated. 3. As the character of each job that work on is diversified, the importance of skills are diversified in each field of jobs. The Result of this study can give the idea to who designs curriculum and builds educational contentsthat would fulfill the need of fields. Also this study would be meaningful that it opens the field of study of skill requirement in Korea.
This study was performed to develop dietary education programs for children, by researching the actual conditions of dietary education and its demand aimed at teachers in child centers in Masan. Most of the interviewed teachers were in their 20s(71%) with under 5 years teaching experiences(56.8%), and working in a kindergarten environment(34.9%). The rate of doing dietary education on mealtime was 96.4%. The main items taught pertained to 'not leaving food(20.6%)' and 'washing hands before meals(20.5%)'. The primary teaching method for students with unbalanced eating habits was 'eating after teaching them to understood(76.8%). The primary reward for good behavior was 'using food(76.8%)', usually as 'candy'(50.8%) or 'cookies'(25.8%). The desirable dietary education type was 'during spare moments(52.6%)' and 'at mealtime (23.5%)'. The concepts taught were 'balanced eating(23.2%)' and 'food hygiene(21.2%), and the students were interested in 'the roles of foods and nutrients'(34.5%), 'balanced eating(20.9%)', and 'food hygiene(19.1%)'. Educational activities encompassed 'pictures and drawing(25.7%)', 'fairy tales(23.4%)', 'songs(19.4%)', and 'play(14.1%)'. Also, the activities of most interest were 'fairy tales(29.4%)', 'play(24.4%)', and then 'songs(23.1%)'. The greatest difficulties during dietary education were 'attracting interest from the children(37.8%)' and 'making and purchasing materials(33.9%)'. Approximately, 44.2% of the teachers had experiences in dietary education, and 96.4% stated teachers had the intention to participate in dietary education. They want to address 'child meal direction(23.0%)', 'health problems(22.7%)', and then 'child nutrient requirements (17.3%)'. Also the majority wanted it two times per year(57.6%) or one time per year(30.9%). This study indicated that proper dietary education must be established in child centers by developing various practical dietary education programs and then implementing them.
