외국인근로자의 삶의 만족도에 대한 영향요인 연구 : 학력 미스매치, 차별경험, 임파워먼트를 중심으로 (Factors Affecting the Life Satisfaction of Foreign Workers in Korea : Focusing on Educational Mismatch, Discrimination and Empowerment)

  • 본 연구는 대구가톨릭대학교 사회통합연구소에서 수행한 외국인근로자에 대한 양적 조사 데이터를 기초로 외국인근로자의 삶의 만족도를 분석한 결과이다. 외국인근로자의 학력 미스매치, 차별경험, 임파워먼트가 삶의 만족에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 실증적으로 분석하고 외국인근로자의 한국생활 내 삶의 만족도를 향상시키기 위한 실천적 함의를 제시함으로써 외국인근로자의 사회통합 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 분석결과 현재 일자리에서 요구되는 학력과 본인의 학력이 일치하는 경우, 차별경험이 없는 경우, 임파워먼트 수준이 높을수록 삶의 만족도는 유의미하게 높아졌다. 이에 따라 외국인근로자들의 일자리 연계 시 학력의 미스매치 방지 및 차별 금지에 대한 제도적 장치 마련, 임파워먼트 향상을 위한 실천적 노력 등에 대한 제안을 하고 있다. 본 연구는 다문화 사회에서 이주민의 사회통합을 위한 기초자료로서 중요한 경험적 근거를 제시할 수 있을 것이며, 임파워먼트와 OECD 국제성인역량조사(PIAAC)의 학력 미스매치 문항을 외국인근로자에게 적용한 선도적 연구로서 그 의의를 가질 것이다.

여성의 교육수준에 따른 직무불일치에 대한 연구 (A study on job mismatches by women's education level)

  • This study examined the degree of job mismatches and how job mismatches affects wages and job satisfaction of women wage workers who graduated from college. The four-year data from the 20th to 23rd (2017-2020) of the Korean Labor & Income Panel Study (KLIPS) were integrated and used for analysis. As a result of the study, first, it was found that female workers graduating from universities in Korea are experiencing serious job mismatches such as education, skill, and major mismatches. The degree was more pronounced as the level of education increased. Second, it was found that it had a negative (-) effect on wages according to the degree of job mismatch, such as education, skill, and major mismatch. Third, it was confirmed that job satisfaction decreased according to the degree of job mismatch such as education, skill, and major mismatch.

인과지도를 활용한 4년제 대학 NCS 도입 활성화 방안 연구 (A Causal Map Analysis on the Accelerating Policies for Universities to Adopt NCS-based Educational Programs)

  • The Korean government has constructed the national competency standards (NCS) rapidly since the year 2013. Also, it has pushed 2-year colleges to adopt NCS-based educational programs and public institutions to hire new employees by using NCS. It expects that NCS will deplete the mismatch between the requirements of employers and the abilities of employees. The purpose of this paper is to find correct accelerating policies for universities to adopt NCS-based educational programs. In order to achieve the purpose, primarily the government policies for NCS were analyzed by using causal map. And then, three accelerating policy recommendations for universities to adopt NCS were drawn by using the results of causal map analysis. The three recommendations are as follows. First, the quality of NCS should be kept highly. Secondly, the NCS-based hiring system of public institutions should also be standardized. Finally, the authorities of universities should be guaranted whenever they make educational programs.

청년취업자의 주관적 미스매치 결정요인 및 임금효과 분석 (Subjective Mismatch Determinants and Wage Effect of Youth Employees)

  • 본 연구는 한국고용정보원의 청년패널조사(YP2007 2~9차) 자료를 이용하여 청년층 노동시장에서 발생되는 주관적 미스매치의 현상을 살펴보고, 주관적 미스매치의 결정요인 및 임금효과를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 전반적으로 학력과 기술 수준 모두 미스매치 중 학력과잉과 기술과잉은 두드러지게 감소하는 것으로, 학력부족과 기술부족은 다소 완만하게 증가하는 추이를 보였다. 다음으로, 하향취업(학력/기술 과잉) 결정요인에 대한 분석 결과, 남성은 여성에 비해 하향취업(학력/기술 과잉)이 될 가능성이 낮았으며, 종사상 지위에서는 임시/일용직 보다 상용직 및 비임금근로자의 하향취업 확률이 낮게 나타났다. 마지막으로 pooled OLS 모형과 패널고정효과 모형으로 미스매치의 임금효과를 추정한 결과, 임금에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 미스매치는 학력과잉인 것으로 나타났고, 학력과잉인 청년취업자들은 그렇지 않은 집단(적정학력)에 비해 평균적으로 6.7% 낮은 임금을 받고 있는 것으로 추정되었다. 관찰되지 않은 개별의 특성을 통제한 후에도 3.2%의 낮은 임금을 받는 것으로 나타났으며, 기술과잉 미스매치의 경우 2.9%, 전공 미스매치가 2.3%로 기준집단에 비해 낮은 임금을 받고 있는 것으로 추정되었다.

산업계관점 대학평가 제도 개선을 위한 대학-산업체 요구분석 (Analysis of University-industry Needs to Improve University Evaluation Institution from Industry Perspective)

  • This study was conducted with analyzing the perceptions of universities and industry regarding need analysis, curriculum design-implementation-outcomes, and the educational environment of the university evaluation institution from an industry perspective. First, as a result of analyzing the importance and implementation level of needs analysis, universities and industries recognized 'industrial trends in related fields' as the most important, but both groups perceived the implementation level to be significantly low. Second, as a result of analyzing the importance of implementing a curriculum based on industry needs, there was a difference in that universities recognized the 'adequacy of curriculum implementation based on industrial needs' and industries recognized the 'field training participation rate' as the most important. Third, as a result of analyzing the importance of curriculum outcomes based on industrial needs, it was found that both groups recognized 'field connection of major curriculum' as the most important. Fourth, as a result of analyzing the importance of the industry-university cooperative educational environment, it was found that both groups recognized 'construction and operation of experimental.practice educational facilities and infrastructure' as the most important. In short, the results of this study are expected to resolve the problem of mismatch between universities and industry in terms of talent development and education, and contribute to the effective implementation of the university evaluation institution from an industry perspective.

기술활용도 측면의 불완전고용이 재취업자의 자아존중감과 정신건강에 미치는 영향: 일에 대한 몰입과 사회적 지지의 조절효과를 중심으로 (The effects of skill-utilization based underemployment on self-esteem and mental health: Employment commitment and social support as moderators)

  • 본 연구는 기술활용도 측면의 불완전고용이 개인의 자존감과 정신건강에 미치는 영향과, 이러한 영향에 대한 일에 대한 몰입과 사회적 지지의 조절효과를 살펴보고자 수행되었다. 연구는 종단으로 설계되어 2회의 설문조사를 통해 자료가 수집되었다. 1차 조사 시점에서 실업 후 미취업 상태에 있었으나 2차 조사 시점에서는 재취업에 성공한 153명의 자료를 사용하였다. 기술활용도 측면에서의 불완전고용은 두 가지 방식으로 측정되었다. 하나는 '학력격차비'로서 현재의 직업에 요구되는 학력을 기준으로 한 개인의 실제 보유학력의 비율(요구 학력/실제 학력)이고, 다른 하나는 자기보고 방식으로 측정된 '지각된 과잉자격'으로 '성장가능성부재'와 '자격불일치'라는 하위요인으로 구성되었다. 학력격차비는 일에 대한 몰입 및 사회적 지지와 상호작용하여 정신건강에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 일에 대한 몰입 정도가 낮은 경우 학력격차비에 따른 불완전고용의 정도가 높아질수록 사회부적응과 우울·불안의 수준이 높아지는 것으로 나타난 반면, 일에 대한 몰입 정도가 높은 경우 사회부적응과 우울·불안의 정도에 유의미한 변화가 없었다. 사회적 지지도 학력격차비와 상호작용하여, 사회적 지지를 낮게 지각하는 경우 학력격차비에 따른 불완전고용의 정도가 클수록 우울·불안의 수준도 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 이들 두 조절변인들은 지각된 과잉자격의 두 하위요인과도 상호작용하여 학력격차비와 유사한 패턴의 상호작용효과를 나타냈다. 일에 대한 몰입은 성장가능성부재 및 자격불일치 요인과 상호작용하여 자존감과 우울·불안에 조절효과를 나타냈고, 사회적 지지는 성장가능성부재와만 상호작용하여 우울·불안에 조절효과를 나타냈다. 본 연구 결과는 개인 내적 변인인 일에 대한 몰입과 외부 상황적 변인인 사회적 지지가, 기술활용도 측면의 불완전고용이 자존감과 정신건강에 미치는 영향에 완충효과를 가짐을 시사하고 있다.

  • This study is to investigate what students want to learn and what mathematics teachers should teach in their classrooms. 1314 students and 527 mathematics teachers were randomly selected to administer the questionnaire. The result shows that their is a considerable mismatch between students'learning desires and teachers'teaching practices in classrooms. What students want to learn is creative knowledge; however, what they learn in the classroom is ‘imitative’ knowledge. This study suggests that the overall educational goal of mathematics education in Korea should emphasize (1) learning to communicate mathematically, (2) loaming to reason mathematically, (3) becoming confident in pupils'own ability, (4) learning to$.$value mathematics, and (5) becoming mathematical problem solvers.

2008-2017 패널분석 결과에 나타난 개인-직무 적합성과 직무만족 간의 관계 (A Study on the Relationship between Person-Job Fit and Job Satisfaction shown in the Panel Data for 2008-2017)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of person-job fit, which consists of educational fit and skill fit, on employees' intrinsic job satisfaction. To the end, the 10-year balanced panel data of the Korean Labor and Income Panel Study(KLIPS) by the Korea Labor Institute (KLI) for 2008-2017 are utilized. This study analyzes 12,730 observations by 1,273 employees by using fixed effect model, random effect model, and pooled OLS estimation method. The empirical results are as follows: First, it is founded that educational fit and skill fit seem affect job satisfaction positively. Second, the negative effects of over-education are clear and the negative effects of under-education are unclear, while the effects of over-skilled and under-skilled are insignificant statistically. Third, the results imply that the size of effect of over-education on intrinsic job satisfaction is larger than that of the effect of over-skilled. Forth, it is shown that the use of fixed effect model is more effective and trustworthy than that of random effect model and pooled OLS estimation method, implying that the effect size of coefficients which are estimated by pooled OLS method and random effect model are likely over-estimated. The empirical results above imply that firms and employees should focus on solving over-education issue before all in order to enhance employees' job satisfaction and it is needed to monitor regularly whether systemic job assignment process is done based on the employees' educational attainment and skill level and to provide more chances for job re-allocation and job rotation.

일개대학 National Competency Standard (NCS) 교과목 운영에 관한 연구: 예방치학 및 실습 교과목 중심으로 (Development and implementation of national competency standard: based on preventive dentistry and practice)

  • Objective: The purpose of the study is to investigate the curriculum development and operation based on national competency standard (NCS). Methods: The duty of the dental hygienist was analyzed based on DACUM by ten experts in January, 2011. The duty model of the dental hygienist was inspected after duty analysis. The subjects of choice were preventive dentistry and practice. The satisfaction with the subjects were carried out from March to June, 2015. Results: The duty analysis of dental hygienist by DACUM produced preventive dental treatment(11 tasks), oral health education(3 tasks), comprehensive dental hygiene treatment(6 tasks) and 12 categories(156 tasks). Preventive dental treatment was divided into preventive dentistry and practice, oral health education was changed into oral health education and practice, and comprehensive dental hygiene treatment was replace by comprehensive dental hygiene and practice. The contents of preventive dentistry and practice included outline, learning objective, related knowledge and self evaluation. Professional evaluation required mutual experience and evaluation of the students. The mutual evaluation of the students was $4.61{\pm}0.506$(dental plaque control) and $1.80{\pm}0.316$(tooth brushing). The professional evaluation was $1.73{\pm}0.274$(dental plaque control) and $1.60{\pm}0.322$(tooth brushing)(p<0.01). The satisfaction with preventive dentistry and practice was $4.61{\pm}0.506$(improvement in practical work ability), $4.58{\pm}0.511$(knowledge improvement) and $4.55{\pm}0.572$(NCS educational environment) in order. Conclusions: The operation of NCS curriculum is considered to improve practical work ability and to solve skill mismatch between dental industries and educational training institutions.

Informatization of Early Childhood Education: the EU Experience

  • Informatization of early childhood education in the EU occurs in the context of the use of ICT as a means of sharing experiences, practices in the education and training of preschool children, communication, both at the national level and locally - within educational institutions, as a means of document management, search, data processing and information for the management of early childhood educational institutions, and planning activities for these institutions. This article aims to identify the features of the informatization of early childhood education in EU countries. Results. The countries of the EU have different levels of workload on the staff of early childhood education institutions, which is caused by different numbers of preschoolers and workforce. The greatest load on the staff in France due to a large number of preschoolers, which, despite the reduction, remained the highest among all the countries. By comparison, Poland's significant workload is mitigated by the size of its workforce. With almost equal numbers of staff in Poland and Germany, the countries differ significantly in the number of preschoolers. The countries also have different funding mechanisms for early childhood education, which determines the potential for digitalization. In France, total spending on early childhood education has grown the least (by 11 % between 2012 and 2018), in Poland by 51 %, in the Czech Republic by 44 %, and in Germany by 49%. In France, 100 % is funded by the government, in Poland 78 % is funded by the government, in the Czech Republic and Germany 87 % and 85 % respectively is funded by the government. The results of the survey of teachers' training in the use of ICTs and the level of specialists' readiness to use them in their studies indicate a mismatch between education and the practice of using technology. At the same time, given the high level of professional training of teachers in the use of technology in education, a low level of practice of ICT use in teaching preschool children was revealed. Teachers require professional development of ICT skills.
