서울·경기지역 외식·조리전공 대학생의 중요 대학서비스에 대한 만족도(IPA) 분석 (The Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) on the University Services of Students Who Majored in Catering Cooling in Seoul and Gyeonggi Provinces)

  • The purpose of this study is to measure the priority items according to attributes and analyze the differences between the importance and satisfaction rates through the IPA for the university service. The results in the study are as follow: First, from the result of the factorial analysis, 5 factors are included First, the possibilities for development of universities, universities' physical environment, Universities' administrative (employee) services, majors' educational services, and majors' laboratory environment. Second, as the total average value for important attributes of the universities is 3.50 and the average value of satisfaction is 2.91, there were significant differences (p<0.001). Third, in the analytical result of IPA, the 1st quadrant includes faster developments than other universities, departments' characterization, etc. The 2nd quadrant includes the convenience to issue all kinds of certificates, kindness of administrative staffs, etc. The 3rd quadrant includes convenience of the procedure to improve unsatisfactory services, development efforts to benchmark advanced universities, etc. Finally, the 4th quadrant includes heavy investments in education and environment, efforts to reflect students' demands, and needs, etc. Even though the importance of research subjects related to university services for these attributes is high, they are not fully satisfied, and there are plenty of dissatisfied students. Therefore, urgent supplementations to increase students' satisfaction rates are important. Form the results of the study, it has been found that urgent efforts to improve satisfaction rates of university students who major in catering cooking in the university services are essential and special plans to build competitive systems which can provide high-quality services are also necessary.

  • Purpose : This research is to understand the academic self-efficacy of trainees receiving the 4 category-union education of HIT(Health Integrated Technic) Methods : A self-administered questionnaire survey was conducted in 450 health-related college students in Daegu city from April to July. A statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 17.0 for window version. Results : First, satisfaction to education of HIT was higher in vocational consciousness program than patient care programme educational deepening program. Second, academic self-efficacy to education of HIT was higher in educational deepening program than patient care programme vocational consciousness program. Conclusion : Systemic education is needed to develop vocational consciousness, patient care and educational deepening that suit the characteristics of college students in order to establish an environment for revitalizing satisfaction and academic self-efficacy to 4 category-union education

  • 정보 매체로서 자리잡은 인터넷은 초고속정보통신망을 통한 종합정보통신망이 된다는 것은 이제 기정 사실이 되었다. 교육 분야에서도 많은 변화를 가져왔고, 점차 가르치는 교수중심에서 배우는 학습자 중심으로 변모해가고 있으며 전통적인 교실에서의 수업보다도 공간과 거리감에 구애를 받지 않는 가상공간(cyberspace)이라는 인터넷을 통하여 가상대학(cyber university)을 설립하게 되었다. 따라서 본 연구는 급속히 변화되는 교육환경에서 교육정보서비스의 개선과 사용자중심의 디자인을 제공하기 위한 방법으로서 WDS (Web Identity Development System)을 적용한 웹사이트디자인을 개발하였다. 그리하여 WDS 적용한 웹사이트 개발 모델를 통하여 가상공간에서 보다 개선된 홈페이지디자인 개발을 위한 방안을 제안하고자 한다.

학교시설유지관리의 민간위탁에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Privatization of School Facilities Maintenance)

  • School facilities maintenance is concerned about providing clean and safe environments for children. It is also about creating a physical setting that is appropriate and adequate for learning. But many of the school buildings in Korea have been maintained and operated by each school manger or pubic officers in the Educational Department. This system could not extend the life of building components, keep equipment functioning as designed or sustain a sage and healthful environment because of its non-professionality and the dual fiscal system. In order to improve such problems, it is proposed to privatize the maintenance of school building. It is sure that the new way to outsource services reduce costs and provide high quality services. Competitive contracting with the private sector can provide schools with expertise, flexibility and cost efficiencies as well as help school administrators focusing on educating the children. This study explores the maintaining status of existing schools, analyses the cases about BTL schools and the foreign country's policies and surveys the outsourcing cases of Kyungki-do schools. Finally it proposes more appropriate plans for privatizing the maintenance way of school building in Korea.

An Educational Service Platform using Collective Intelligence and Presence of Web 2.0

  • Web 2.0 has become the face next generation Web among the business world and research community. Web 2.0 is instant superficial gratification of people. On the other hand, Semantic Web is deep, meaningful and lasting relationship with data. So, it is difficult to apply the Semantic Web to the real world. In this paper, a platform for educational services using the Semantic Web and Web 2.0 is proposed. The proposed platform is based mix of the Semantic Web and Web 2.0, so it is useful to apply in the real world applications. Two services are presented, one is a semantic email system and the other is a cyber study space. The cyber study space adjusted each student is presented. The study environment is called iStudySpace that has personal scheduler, study status plan table, personalized search engine and several gadgets. Finally characteristics and limitations of the Semantic Web and Web 2.0, the organization and components of the platform, evaluation of iStudySpace are shown.

An Investigation of Cloud Computing and E-Learning for Educational Advancement

  • Advances in technology have given educators a tool to empower them to assist with developing the best possible human resources. Teachers at universities prefer to use more modern technological advances to help them educate their students. This opens up a necessity to research the capabilities of cloud-based learning services so that educational solutions can be found among the available options. Based on that, this essay looks at models and levels of deployment for the e-learning cloud architecture in the education system. A project involving educators explores whether gement Systems (LMS) can function well in a collaborative remote learning environment. The study was performed on how Blackboard was being used by a public institution and included research on cloud computing. This test examined how Blackboard Learn performs as a teaching tool and featured 60 participants. It is evident from the completed research that computers are beneficial to student education, especially in improving how schools administer lessons. Convenient tools for processing educational content are included as well as effective organizational strategies for educational processes and better ways to monitor and manage knowledge. In addition, this project's conclusions help highlight the advantages of rolling out cloud-based e-learning in higher educational institutions, which are responsible for creating the integrated educational product. The study showed that a shift to cloud computing can bring progress to educational material and substantial improvement to student academic outcomes, which is related to the increased use of better learning tools and methods.

대학 기숙사의 만족도 향상을 위한 시설관리(FM) 서비스 제안 (Suggestion on FM Service for Improving Students' Satisfaction on the University Dorm Facilities)

  • University dorm basically provides basic housing functions to students, however, it is very important in a sense that it provides students with various functions such as information exchange, cultural experience and learning environments as well. Additionally, continuous effort to improve users' satisfaction and living environments are needed due to the fact that physical environments of dorm facilities have higher impact on students. However, Many students are not satisfied with the physical environment of university dorms and also there is lack of systematic information whereas various functions are required by students. Therefore, the main objective of this research is to suggest the direction of FM services in order for improving students' satisfaction on the university dorm facilities in Korea. Precedent studies regarding the satisfaction or performance evaluation of dorm facilities have been extensively analyzed to extract the dissatisfaction factors that scored below the middle 50%. Secondly, for satisfaction improvement, Korean Standard for Facility Management(KS_FM) have been matched with those extracted dissatisfaction factors to suggest the direction of FM services by rules and regulations review and best practice studies. This research will be useful for university dorm facility managers in planning strategic FM and providing effective FM services to students.

Metaverse Realistic Media Digital Content Development Education Environment Improvement Research

  • COVID-19의 영향으로 약 2년 1개월에 걸친 사회적 거리두기의 조치로 ICT 요소기술을 활용한 비대면 서비스들이 교육 분야뿐만 아니라 전분야로 확대되고 있다. 특히 메타버스(Metaverse) 플랫폼을 활용한 교육 프로그램들이 여러 분야로 확산되면서 교육자와 학습자가 에듀테크(Edutech)를 활용한 학습 경험이 많아지고 있지만 교육에 대한 몰입도나 집중력 저하 등 비대면 학습을 통한 문제점을 제기하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 비대면 학습을 통해 제기되고 있는 문제점을 극복하고 메타버스 기반 실감미디어 디지털 콘텐츠를 개발하여 교육 환경을 개선하고자 몰입형 메타버스 기반으로 VR(Virtual Reality)을 활용하여 군에서 필요로 하는 교육/훈련 콘텐츠와 교육환경을 구축하였다. 본 논문에서는 실제로 군 교육/ 훈련에 투입되는 학습자에게 HMD(Head Mounted Display)를 활용하여 가상환경에서 몰입도와 집중도를 높일 수 있도록 교육콘텐츠에 대한 시스템을 제시했으며, 교육훈련에 필요한 장비들을 실사화하여 몰입도를 더욱 향상시켰다.

연안 생태계문화서비스 경제적 가치 추정 - 전국 해수욕장을 대상으로 - (Valuing Cultural Ecosystem Services of Coastal Beaches in Korea)

  • 해안지역은 육지와 물이 상호작용하는 독특한 특징이 있어 사람들이 자연환경을 육체적 및 정신적으로 향유하고 체험하도록 유도하며, 이는 문화생태계서비스(이하 문화서비스)를 형성한다. 문화서비스가 가장 많이 이루어지는 해안지역은 해수욕장이다. 본 연구의 목적은 1) 해수욕장에서 얻는 문화서비스의 경제적 가치를 추정하고, 2) 편익이전법을 이용하여 가치를 전국 해수욕장으로 확장하는 것이다. 선행연구를 심층적으로 검토하여 문화서비스를 관광·휴양, 경관·심미, 교육, 유산, 영감 등 다섯 가지 범주로 나누었다. 관광·휴양, 경관·심미, 교육 서비스는 선택실험법을 통해 가치를 추정하였다. 선택실험법의 속성은 보전기금, 쓰레기, 수질, 바다 경관, 주변지역 경관, 생물종다양성이며 11곳의 해수욕장 방문자를 대상으로 한 온라인 설문조사를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 유산과 영감 서비스는 지출액을 묻는 시장재화법으로 가치를 평가하였다. 도출한 가치는 전국의 257개 해수욕장으로 편익이전하여 평가하였다. 연구결과는 해수욕장에 대한 연안침식과 개발에 따른 복원, 공공투자 여부와 투자 규모에 대한 정책 결정을 위한 근거로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

스마트교육 현장 적용을 위한 스마트교육 모형 개발 (Development of a Smart Education Model for Field Application of Smart Education)

  • 본 연구에서는 21세기 새로운 교육 패러다임으로 인정받고 있는 스마트교육이 실제 학교 현장에서 어떤 방향으로 이루어져야 하는지 그 방향성을 탐색하기 위하여 스마트교육 관련 현장 전문가를 대상으로 델파이 조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 스마트교육의 교육목표, 교육 내용, 교육 방법, 교육 평가, 교육 환경으로 구성된 각 영역에서 전문가들의 합의점을 도출할 수 있었으며, 이를 바탕으로 실제 교육 현장에서 지침을 제공할 수 있는 스마트교육 모형을 개발하였다. 스마트교육 모형은 21세기를 살아갈 학습자들이 협업과 의사소통을 통해 문제를 해결하고 창의성을 높이며 바른 인성을 함양하도록 전개되어야한다는 교육 목표 아래, 교육 내용, 교육 방법, 교육 평가, 교육 환경이 일관성 있게 유기적으로 연결된 체제적 교육 모형이다. 본 연구가 스마트교육이 실제로 이루어지는 학교현장에 작은 보탬이 되기를 기대한다.
