This study investigated the effects of urban farm program on the participants' sense of community. Three public urban farms in Seoul were selected and surveyed. The results were as follows: First, the effects of the urban farm program on the sense of community were verified by a multifaceted analysis. There were significant differences in the interaction and sense of community between urban farms with and without regular programs. Program participants showed higher level of activity, interaction and sense of community compared to non-participants. Program participation was the most important factor in the path analysis. Second, the number of participating group, residential ownership and duration were important factors in the sense of community. This implies that urban farm programs should target house owners with long duration, in particular socially disadvantaged classes such as single-family and elderly household. Third, diverse cultural programs related to the regional society gained higher satisfaction than the simple agricultural educational programs.

Having the Seorak mountain National Park as an object of study, this research grasps the problems of the present environmental observatories through the awareness investigations of visitors towards the function of environmental observatories made by the evironmental education. In order to achieve this, a questionaire has been conducted for 26 days, starting from the 25th October 2002, directed towards 100 visitors to the Seorak mountain National Park about the maps and degree of satisfaction of the usage ofthe environment observatory and explanation program. The results of the analysis show that general satisfaction on the environmental observatories are valued very negatively. This informs us that the present environmental observatories under the environment education are not fullfilling entirely their functions. Supporting itself upon the basis of the visitors' questionaire, this research has attempted the resolution of the present problems having as an object of study the scenery and cultural resources present in the Seorak mountain National Park, and proposing an entertaining environmental education of the environment observatory's constitution.
Purpose: This study aimed to identify the factors influencing positive subjective health awareness of middle school-age multicultural adolescents in Korea. Methods: This study used data from the fourth to sixth waves of the Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study conducted by the National Youth Policy Institute. In this study, a panel logit model analysis was performed using the Eviews 8.0 program (p<.050). Results: Socioeconomic status (r=.02, t=2.13, p=.033), body satisfaction (r=.71, t=1.97, p=.048), and depression (r=-.74, t=2.35, p=.018) influenced positive subjective health awareness in multicultural adolescents. When multicultural characteristics were entered into a statistical model with environmental and personal characteristics, multicultural characteristics did not have a significant influence on positive subjective health awareness. Conclusion: Environmental, personal, and multicultural characteristics were related to positive subjective health awareness in multicultural adolescents; thus, an integrated approach considering those variables is recommended. Nursing interventions and educational programs are needed to improve the psychological status of multicultural adolescents and reduce prejudice about them. In addition, nurses need to be sensitive to multicultural characteristics and the developmental characteristics of multicultural adolescents.

In both Korea and the U.S., science education leaders and specialists insist that there is a shortage of curricula to address the new national science education guidelines in support of reform. This paper addresses development of new curricula for science education reform in the hopes of facilitating further development of guideline-based curricula. We examine Korean and U.S. thematic-based (Korean Science Field Trip at Cultural Sites Program and U.S. Graduate Teaching Fellows in K-12 Education) and project-centered (Korean Teachers for Exciting Science and U.S. Foundational Approaches in Science Teaching Program) programs. Using the criteria of rationale for curriculum, content and scope, processes of implementation, and assessment strategies, we identify the curricular components that are common across four successful secondary science programs and determine which of these components address the national guidelines. Our findings indicate that common components of these four programs meet the expectations of the science guidelines being used to revamp science education in both countries. Therefore, these programs not only engage secondary students and teachers in practicing successful science education, but also lead to successful science education practices that can be incorporated in the future development of curriculum to support secondary science reform.

Consequently, first, when developing the program, the specialized library needs to develop programs in possession of unique characteristics specific to the areas of the differentiated themes from the cultural and educational programs run by the existing libraries. Second, it is necessary to focus on the specialized theme area information services for the users, and to this end, it is necessary to improve librarians 'professionalism. Third, it is necessary to secure the budget for the specialized services and secure space. Fourth, the specialized library needs to proceed with activities in connection with local residents for the purposes of facilitating specialized services.
In this study, it is necessary to supplement the Korean language curriculum in order for international students to adapt and settle in Korea in an era where education is being transformed into future education due to the 4th industry. In the KFL (Korean as a Foreign Language) situation encountered by international students, they suffer from difficulties in university mathematics due to communication problems due to lack of language ability, which is one of the stress factors for cultural adaptation in the Korean language education program. To solve this problem, we analyzed ESL programs in English-speaking countries and KSL programs in Korea to set educational goals, curriculum, and educational methods to achieve goals for international students, and to establish curriculum and learning processes. Therefore, the Korean language education program (KSL program) for foreign students in the Korean language curriculum should also be supplemented by accepting the advantages of setting accurate goals for the ESL program and linking it with university graduation in the curriculum of English-speaking countries. In addition, for international students to learn Korean, an integrated Korean language education course and management system using IT suitable for the 4th industrial age is needed.

The need is emerging in the content industry for realistic content along with technological convergence as development of media technology. This phenomenon is being accelerated by COVID-19. In 2019, the government set up strategies to secure future growth engines, announced "three major innovation strategies" in the content industry, and emphasized "fostering leading realistic content." Realistic content is a content that users can experience directly. It is first-person storytelling that should be dealt with as important as the development of technology in the production of realistic content. In this paper, the results of storytelling classes conducted at the actual educational site are analyzed, and the difference from the first-person perspective commonly used in traditional literary works is described. Through this, we present effective teaching methods that can be used to develop realistic content.
