Capstone design is a very important college course that enhances students' creativity and skills. However, in most universities, the operation of capstone design is operated by the experience and intuition of the advisor, and it is somewhat lacking in the generation of useful results such as patent rights and technology start-up from the capstone design result. In this study, we proposed a performance - based capstone design operation model through patent linkage so that the capstone design class can create creative and useful results. The proposed operating model includes support for research on prior art of patent information utilization, patent right of idea, and technology commercialization. The proposed operating model was directly applied to the capstone design class in the university, and it was confirmed that useful results such as expansion of the scope of the research achievement and technology start - up were created compared to the existing operation model.

In this paper, the purpose of this study was to analyze various information related to the government's youth entrepreneurship support policy, propose a customized entrepreneurship promotion strategy for college students majoring in sports, and increase their entrepreneurship efficacy. Through this, the aim was to increase the entrepreneurship efficacy of sports majors. Firstly, a literature study was conducted, and secondly, alternatives for promoting entrepreneurship among college students majoring in sports were analyzed based on expert interviews. Therefore, the following suggestions were made. 1. Recognizing the added value and individuality of the sports field in startup policy. 2. Creation of a start-up network and platform for sports majors to start a business. 3. Sports start-up space composition. 4. Organizing and supporting start-up clubs. 5. Activating entrepreneurship education and competitions in capstone design and employment seminar subjects. 6. Increasing start-up efficacy through start-up mentoring.

Recently, many start-up failures occur as the number of attempts to start a business increases in a social atmosphere that encourages start-up. In particular, young entrepreneurs have a lower survival rate than general entrepreneurs because young entrepreneurs are challenging just with a simple idea to overcome the difficulties of employment while lacking prior knowledge and experience of business. Therefore, the reason for the failure of start-up is lack of preparation for start-up and lack of entrepreneurship. The purpose of this study is to develop a measurement tool to build a basic framework for entrepreneurship development and start - up preparation activities for young people. To develop an entrepreneurship measurement tool, researchers developed a preliminary question through qualitative research methods such as literature research, focus group interview, and expert verification. After that, researchers surveyed 102 entrepreneurs using quantitative research method and to verify the construct validity of the measurement tool, the final entrepreneurship measurement tool was completed through exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. The entrepreneurship measurement tool developed through this research process consists of 7 components and 15 measurement items. First, in the step of 'confirming entrepreneurial intention', two items of 'self-analytic competence', three items of 'ability of establishing start-up philosophy'are contained. Second, in the step of 'drawing up a start-up model', two items are contained in each category such as, 'ability of eliciting entrepreneurial idea,' 'ability of analyzing idea validity,' 'competence of planning a venture start-up model'. Third, in the step of 'planning the venture start-up,' two items are contained in each category such as, 'business-plan presentation competency,' 'ability of implementing organizational system.'. The measurement tool of entrepreneurship is meaningful as it could help young entrepreneur find out their lacking competence in preparing their start-ups and strengthen necessary competences by measuring their own entrepreneurship. Rather in the entrepreneurship education, basic data that can diagnose the entrepreneurship of young entrepreneurs is provided.
In this article, we present a new slow-start variant, which improves the throughput of transmission control protocol (TCP) Vegas. We call this new mechanism Gallop-Vegas because it quickly ramps up to the available bandwidth and reduces the burstiness during the slow-start phase. TCP is known to send bursts of packets during its slow-start phase due to the fast window increase and the ACK-clock based transmission. This phenomenon causes TCP Vegas to change from slow-start phase to congestion-avoidance phase too early in the large bandwidth-delay product (BDP) links. Therefore, in Gallop-Vegas, we increase the congestion window size with a rate between exponential growth and linear growth during slow-start phase. Our analysis, simulation results, and measurements on the Internet show that Gallop-Vegas significantly improves the performance of a connection, especially during the slow-start phase. Furthermore, it is implementation feasible because only sending part needs to be modified.

The development of technology and the advent of a non-face-to-face society are expected to have a direct impact on job problems. In line with this phenomenon, the government and education and training institutions are coping with job problems through the start-up support policy while at the same time inducing the creation of innovative companies. In particular, youth start-up support can be expected not only to compensate for market failures, but also to promote high-growth start-ups. Based on this background of research, this study examined the competency of young entrepreneurs to start their own businesses, their entrepreneurial self-efficacy, and their impact on success and satisfaction of start-ups. Based on the theoretical research, the research theory and research model were derived by setting entrepreneurial self-efficacy as a mediating variable after reviewing the relation between the main elements of start-up competency of young start-up entrepreneurs and start-up performance. The Youth Entrepreneurship Competency was divided into four categories: Entrepreneurial Competencies, Technical Competencies, Management Competencies, and Creative Competencies, and the hypothesis was that each had a significant impact on the start-up performance through the mediating effect of entrepreneurial self-efficacy. A survey was conducted on young entrepreneurs in their 20s and 30s in Korea for empirical research, and the analysis results were as follows. First of all, the competency of young entrepreneurs to start their own businesses affects the success of start-ups and the satisfaction of start-ups. There are differences in the competencies, and both technical and management competencies can be seen through the entrepreneurial self-efficacy to enhance the success of start-ups and the satisfaction of start-ups. Entrepreneurial competency was fully mediated to start-up success and partially mediated to start-up satisfaction. In the case of creative competency, there were only direct effects on successful start-ups, and the satisfaction of start-ups showed partial mediating effects. Thus, seven of the eight detailed hypotheses were supported and one was rejected. Based on the above findings, the implications were presented.

This study is based on ERIS model for start-up performance, and aims to derive the main reason for start-up sustainability centered on organizational resilience. To this end, systematic literature examination and modified Delphi method were used to investigate start-up sustainability factors based on ERIS Model focused on organizational resilience. The results showed that ERIS model-based entrepreneurial continuity factors were divided into four categories: entrepreneur, resource, industrial environment, strategy, subdivision 8 and detailed factors 54. In addition, the ERIS model-based continuity factors were structured around organizational resilience, and the continuity factors were structured according to ERIS model under five categories: leadership, culture, people, system and environment. The results of this study are as follows. First of all, the results of existing research and analysis show that the concept of successful start-up and sustainability of start-up are used in various fields. Second, it is confirmed that there are common factors of influence on start-up performance and start-up sustainability based on ERIS model. Third, Delphi method's results showed that the general characteristics of entrepreneurs, such as academic background, education level, gender, age, and business experience did not affect the sustainability of entrepreneurship. This study is significant in that it is based on ERIS model focused on organization resilience, and ERIS-R, which integrates Strategy into System and Organization resilience into R in the field of gradually expanding start-up development and support. It is expected that the results of this study will improve the sustainability of start-up that can predict, prevent, and overcome various crises at any time.

The cooperation between universities and industries is already one of the most important factors driving the national economy in the knowledge-based society of the 21st century represented by the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The Korean government has also been carrying out legal and institutional re-adjustments to promote industrial-university cooperation in line with demands for such changes in the times. However, despite this industry-academic cooperation system, there is still a significant mismatch between industrial demand and the university's workforce development system. By the way, there is a Cooperative Education(CO-OP) in Canada and the United States. It's an innovative link between the university and the industry. The reason is that the CO-OP program not only allows students to gain experience with their majors in the industrial field, but also plays a positive role in improving their specialty expertise. In particular, field information, ideas, and job insights that students acquire through CO-OP also serve as motivation for starting a business beyond employment after graduation. Furthermore, CO-OP experience is an important opportunity for future researchers to come up with commercialized research results that are not separated from the field sites The purpose of this study is to overcome the gap between industrial demand and the college manpower training system, and develop a Korean-style coaching program model as a growth engine for creative talent-building policies, represented by 'creation of start-ups and new industry.' In addition, this study suggested measures that can be applied in real universities. In addition, the study also highlighted that the introduction of CO-OP programs with field practices in Korea could also boost start-ups. In this study, we analyzed the effect of entrepreneurial spirit of the start-up real estate founder gives to management achievements, founding education and it was confirmed whether they have a regulatory effect between them. For this reason, we conducted a questionnaire survey of real estate founder of start-up, were analyzed using the SPSS 18.ok. To summarize the research results are as follows. While factors of independent variables were clearly private that there is a difference on the basis of its founding education as an adjustment variable in relation to the impact on business performance, some the only adjustment variables, such as whether to recommend satisfaction and business of business it was confirmed that shown. As the importance of entrepreneurship education has increased, universities are conducting various programs related to entrepreneurship for university students. Despite these efforts, however, the demand for a competency-oriented entrepreneurship education program to realize the entrepreneurial idea is not fully reflected. Therefore this study is conducted to provide strategies for the development, management, and facilitation of the entrepreneurship education program of university through the analysis of difference between the level of importance and level of performance for the development of entrepreneurship of university student. Through the literature review, entrepreneurship is classified the step of confirming entrepreneurial intention, drawing up a start-up model, and planning a venture start-up. This study is analyzed through the t-test to identify difference between level of importance and level of performance with the 15 items of 7 competencies. This study is used Borich needs analysis and the Locus for Focus Model to know the priority of education needs for the development of entrepreneurship of university student. As the result of study, university students' entrepreneurial competences between level of importance and level of performance are shown significantly different among 15 items, the first priority is 6 items and the second priority is 2 items using Borich needs analysis and the Locus for Focus Model. Four competence clusters such as self-analytic competence, ability of eliciting entrepreneurial idea, ability of analyzing idea validity, and business-plan presentation competency are suggested with the combination of first and second priority competence. In order to develop each competence, ability of eliciting entrepreneurial idea and ability of analyzing idea validity are the key of education, self-analytic competence is needed to strengthen the intention of entrepreneurship, and business-plan presentation competence is cultivated as the ability of persuading investors to realize business ideas and is applied to business situation.
