  • The Emergence of german mechanical engineer group is related to the development of polytechnical schools which were founded by the german state governments. Following the model of vienna polytechnical schools, the german polytechnical schools aimed also to educate engineers for private industries. For this purpose, the practices and workshop experiences were more emphasized than the theoretical education. With the further industrialization, the demand for higher educated engineers grew, and the level of theories taught in the polytechnical schools approached to that of university. On the base of mathematicalization of technical and mechanical knowledge, the professors of polytechnical schools succeeded in the establishment of Technische Hochschule which ranked as university. The german mechanical engineers could differentiate themselves from the traditional technicians with the establishment of polytech schools and Technische Hochschule.

  • This paper has analyzed various aspects of electric shock accidents on th base of the published statistical data of the Ministry of labour between 1982 and 1990. The number of electric shock accidents has suddenly been increased in 1990, because of the booming business of the building construction. It was found that many temporal electric wirings and movable electric devices in the field of construction have bee na leading cause of the electric shock accidents. In order to reduce the rate of electric shock accidents the proper authorities will have to establish the safety measures, to educate workers to prevent the accidents and to supervise more carefully.

  • In this paper, we propose the design and implementation of Multi-media Title for the similar figure learning. The algebra problems of mathematics are usually solved by algorithm, but the diagram problems of geometry have various solution methods. This made us educate the students by memorizing the principle and property of diagram. In this paper, we applied the courseware to the students and analyzed the result. Therefore we could notice the possibilities, "f we teach students by using the courseware, we can improve their learning achievement."

  • The jumping ring apparatus of the type described in this study is used to demonstrate and educate the effects of electromagnetic induction. Placing an aluminum ring over the core and switching on AC source causes the ring to jump in the air due to induced currents in the ring producing a magnetic field opposed to that produced in the core. If the AC current is slowly increased from zero or ring is placed over the core when AC is already flowing the ring floats due to the balance between its weight and the upward electromagnetic force. Pentimum computer is used to display this value to screen and generate control signal.

  • This paper presents the development method of educational simulator for the load flow. The developed simulator can be made the students to model, analysis of power systems by drawing the system and performing the load flow by themselves under window environment. For the effective education of load flow, we have introduced the avatar which is the object to explain the load flow to the students. Also, The simulator has developed by using the language based on XML(Extended Markabel Language). Therefore, we determine that this simulator is useful to educate the load flow and easily to expand the other application program.

  • The goals of a major reform effort are to enable us to educate informed citizens who are better able to function in our increasingly technological society. Discrete mathematics is an exciting and appropriate vehicle for working toward and achieving these goals. it is an excellent tool for improving reasoning and problem solving skills. Discrete mathematics has many practical applications that are useful for solving some of the problems of our society and that are meaningful to our students. Its problems make mathematics come alive for students, and help them see the relevance of mathematics th the real word. To build up the role of Discrete mathematics in the school, this study is to investigate various theories and curricula related to discrete mathematics, and to collect a great deal of valuable material that will help teachers introduce discrete mathematics in their classrooms. In conclusion. mathematics teachers will find the need and importance of why and how discrete mathematics can be introduced into their curricula by this study.

  • In this research, new conceptual model is being established to advocate a hypothesis during the hands-on to guarantee an effectiveness of the training with a scientific procedures and techniques under the management of KCTC training system. From this, current requirements of facilitator's qualifications and technical standards can be correspond with educate and their individual characteristics. Establishing education model basis will increase facilitator's training and conservatism in the representative KCTC training operative as the actual fight; contribute to effective training procedures. Like this model, it can be flexibly applied to the units in armies' actual training in circumstantial situations other than KCTC training; also can be applicable in many quarters.

  • Food allergies and food-induced anaphylaxis are important health problems. Several cofactors modulating the onset of anaphylaxis have been identified. In the presence of cofactors, allergic reactions may be induced at lower doses of food allergens and/or become severe. Exercise and concomitant infections are well-documented cofactors of anaphylaxis in children. Other factors such as consumption of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, alcohol ingestion, and stress have been reported. Cofactors reportedly play a role in approximately 30% of anaphylactic reactions in adults and 14%-18.3% in children. Food-dependent exercise-induced anaphylaxis (FDEIA) is the best-studied model of cofactor-induced anaphylaxis. Wheat-dependent exercise-induced anaphylaxis, the most common FDEIA condition, has been studied the most. The mechanisms of action of cofactors have not yet been fully identified. This review aims to educate clinicians on recent developments in the role of cofactors and highlight the importance of recognizing cofactors in food allergies and food-induced anaphylaxis.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the association between maternal feeding practices and excessive weight gain in infants. Methods: This study adopted a cross-sectional design and included 240 pairs of mothers and their infants (129 boys and 111 girls) in public healthcare centers in the Daejeon area in South Korea. Via multivariate analyses, the association between maternal feeding practices and excessive weight gain in infants was identified. Results: Among 240 infants in this study, 39 (16.3%) infants gained excessive weight during 12 months after birth. Using multivariate logistic regression with adjustment for covariates, more than 7 months of exclusive breastfeeding was associated with a reduced likelihood of excessive weight gain in infants during the 12 months after birth (adjusted odds ratio: 0.39, 95% confidence interval: 0.02~0.81, p=.029). Conclusion: Based on these results, nurses in communities and clinics should educate mothers on the importance of longer durations of exclusive breast feeding and develop strategies for encouraging such behavior. Furthermore, support for exclusive breast feeding should be provided in various settings.
