Korean Journal of Sport Biomechanics(KJSB) is facing down by a great challenge. Following the long-term plan of the Korean Society of Sport Biomechanics, the KJSB has entered a new era in 2010 in the sense that the some papers are published in English. Immense efforts are needed to accomplish the original goal of KJSB becoming an internationally recognized journal. The 2009 Spring International Conference of the KSSB was held in this connection with the subject of the vitalization of the KJSB. A special topic were presented at the Conference and vigorous discussions followed. The Editor-in-Chief of KJSB presented strategies to improve the number of suggestion to the KJSB. The Manager of Thomson Reuter gave a presentation on how KJSB can grow into the SCI-expanded journal. This manuscript is presented on the basis of the presentations and the discussions at the meeting for the purpose of finding the way in aiming the direction of the long-term goal of the KJSB. Other evaluation criteria such as journal self-citation rate. SCI citation rate and SCI impact factor need to modify the score ranges.

Purpose: EAJBE is actively responding to changes in academic paradigms at domestic and abroad and is carrying out measures to maximize synergy effects between academic fields with the goal of being at the world level. This study aims to present a developmental strategy for EAJBE to grow into an academic journal with international public trust and prepare for future changes. Research design, data and methodology: This paper identifies the current status from the first issue of EAJBE to the present, and analyzes the overall development strategy and direction. Results: EAJBE continues to strengthen long-term investment for internationalization and activities to attract members of excellent scholars. Specifically, first of all, EAJBE aims to operate responsible academic journals, such as guaranteeing the long term of the president of the academic society, the chairman of the editorial board, and the editor-in-chief. EAJBE also focuses on expanding investment for internationalization from a long-term perspective. Finally, EAJBE actively strives for academic exchanges between scholars abroad and at home. Conclusions: EAJBE was indexed in the KCI of the Korea Research Foundation and currently operates a rigorous academic journal to be indexed in the SCOPUS. Already, EAJBE is doing its best to become a successful model for Korean academic journals. EAJBE's path forward will be the first one that no academic society has ever reached as the world's top academic journal.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of different images of movie costume centering on the actresses. The perfect examples are the characters from the movie "The Devil Wears Prada", in which the film is about the fashion leaders of the world. This study consists of visual data as well as images including some scenes from the movie. The sources were collected from relative media, articles in journals, internet sites relating to the movies and photos and we have analyzed differentiated each of the character's wardrobes and its characteristics appearing in each image. The result of this study is as follows. First, the characteristic image of Andy, the main character (Anne Hathaway) in the movie changed dramatically. Andy'swardrobe is focused on the character's makeover in the movie as the character changes from a slob dresser to an assistant of the editor-in-chief of the number one fashion magazine in the world. Each scene definitely shows different styles of the latest premier designers' clothes and accessories. On the other hand, Miranda Priestly appears as the fashion leader and icon throughout the whole movie. Her career look in each scene was very chic and sophisticated in the office while her party dresses were sexy and glamorous in the movie where she was at many of the promotion parties and events. The second analysis of characteristic images of movie costumes is comparing the styles of Andy, Miranda and Emily(the other assistant of Miranda). Andy's wardrobe was divided Into two situations-before working for the magazine and while working for Miranda. As Andy's wardrobe began to upscale, the clothing images of Emily and Miranda became less fashionable. As a result of this study, the movie costumes played a vital role in expressing the changes and differentiating each character's images.

The APJCP Impact Factor for 2012 is 1.271, returning from 0.659 for 2011 (1.240 for 2010 and 1.108 for 2009). For an Asian Pacific journal publishing over 100 papers a month from countries with very varied resources it is heartening and we thank all those who continued to submit papers and cite references in the APJCP through our difficult period. However, we still have very much room for improvement. As Chief Editors it is our shared responsibility to act for the benefit of the cancer control research community who utilize the journal in our region of over four billion people and provide a prestigious forum for publication of research findings which can be freely shared by all. The motivation for the APOCP/APJCP has never been financial profit but a firm financial base is nevertheless essential. Although we have kind support from the Korean National Cancer Center for our Managing Editor and the website, our ability to maintain our Chinese and Thai offices is totally dependent on the processing charges paid by the authors. In order to expand our staff to cope with increased submissions and provide greater assistance in ensuring comprehensive reference coverage and dissemination of findings published in the APJCP to the worldwide research community, a joint decision has been made to increase formatting charges by 50% from July. We ask for author understanding. In addition, we appeal to scientists to positively consider our requests to make their reference lists as comprehensive as possible, including papers from the APJCP where appropriate. The future of the journal and the APOCP is largely in your own hands.

Housing is not only a basic requirement, but also a method to maintain stability and improve living. In the period of rapid social development which has a significant impact on the aging population, the housing issue is an impediment to Gen Y in Asia. Therefore, solving the housing conundrum is the most effective solution to other social problems. Purpose: This research is conducted to investigate factors influencing housing-option decisions of Gen Y and proposes recommendations to them as well as Governments and the real estate investors. Research design, data, and methodology: The Theory of Planned Behavior was employed with the expanded variables (Financial status, Location, Public services and Government incentives) based on literature review. Results: With 445 valid responses, almost all proposed hypotheses are accepted, which supports the positive interrelationship among variables. In the stage of data processing, we have determined the influence of each factor to the dependent variable "Actual Behavior", thereby helping real estate investors understand their desires, as well as improve the ability to meet customer needs. Conclusion: This is the basis to determine the influence of these factors, thereby providing recommendations to customers and what is more, giving real estate enterprises an insight of customers' demand in order to improve product quality and optimize the benefits of each party.

Due to the competitive nature of journal publishing, editorial leadership has become an increasingly important issue on many editorial teams. This study aimed to compare the major and non-Western international journals in library and information science and reveal the differences between them. To conduct this study, journals indexed by Scopus and Web of Science were analyzed in terms of gender, professional position and rank, institutions, and the iSchool status of the editorial leaders' institutions. The most notable results were the following: a) As a whole, both types of journals lacked true internationalization. Editorial leaders of major journals tended to be from Western countries, whereas editorial leaders of non-Western journals tended to be from non-Western countries; b) Most non-Western journals tended to appoint editorial leaders from the same country as the publisher's country; and c) Almost all editorial leaders of non-Western journals were from various non-Western countries and tended to have lower h-index scores, and their institutions were not part of the iSchool. Future research should assess editorial leadership, compare the results of this study to other disciplines, and find effective ways to collect data on editorial leaders while minimizing ethical concerns in order to meet future research needs.

본 연구는 대학생의 전공-흥미 일치도, 스트레스대처방식과 학과적응 간에 어떠한 관계가 있는지 알아보고, Holland 일치성 가설에 위배되는 집단의 존재를 확인하기 위해 전공-흥미 일치도와 학과적응도 고저(高低)에 따른 네 집단 분류하였다. 또한 네 집단 간 스트레스대처방식의 차이를 확인하였다. 본 연구를 위해 4년제 대학교 재학생 321명을 대상으로 직업선호도검사(S형)의 직업적 흥미검사(일반성향검사), 스트레스대처방식검사(정유미, 2004), 학과적응척도(박성미, 2001)를 활용하여, 연구대상자의 일반적 특성, 전공-흥미 일치도, 스트레스대처방식에 대한 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 PASW Statistics Data Editor 18.0 프로그램을 이용하여 상관분석, 중다회귀분석, 빈도분석, 공분산분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전공-흥미 일치도와 스트레스대처방식이 학과적응에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 일치도는 학과적응에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 못하였으며, 스트레스대처방식 중 적극적 대처방식만 학과적응에 유의미한 영향을 나타내었다. 둘째, 전공-흥미 일치도와 학과적응도 고저에 따른 네 집단 분류를 한 결과 일치도가 높지만 학과적응도가 낮은 집단, 일치도가 낮지만 학과적응도가 높은 집단이 존재하고 있음을 확인하였다. 셋째, 전공-흥미 일치도와 학과적응도 고저에 따른 네 집단 간 스트레스대처방식의 차이를 확인한 결과, 집단 간 유의미한 차이가 발견되었다. 이러한 연구결과는 학과적응에 있어 전공-흥미 일치도 이외에 다른 요인도 고려해야 함을 나타내며, 특히 스트레스대처방식의 중요함을 보여준다. 따라서 학과적응 촉진을 위한 스트레스대처방식 훈련 및 프로그램 개발 등이 필요하다고 할 수 있다.

본 연구는 현대교회 건축 디자인에 많은 영향을 끼친 도미니크 수도회 신부 마리 알랭 쿠튀리에(Marie Alain Couturie)가 주창한 성미술(L'Art Sacre) 운동의 추진과정과 건축적 특성을 고찰하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 성미술 운동의 전개과정을 분석한 후, 이를 토대로 성미술 운동 속에 내재해 있는 건축적 담론, 특히 쿠튀리에가 주창한 건축개념의 특성이 무엇인가를 분석하고자 하였다. 1차적으로 1936년부터 1954년 사이에 성미술 운동의 기관지 라르 사크레지에 기고 된 쿠튀리에의 글 속에 나타난 언설을 분석하고, 2차적으로 성미술 건축 프로젝트의 현지답사를 통해 성미술 운동의 실체를 파악하였다. 성미술 운동의 대표적인 건축물인 아시성당과 로사리오성당, 롱샹교회, 라투렛수도원, 로스코채플 등 5개의 프로젝트를 분석대상으로 하였다. 본 연구의 결과 쿠튀리에의 건축개념의 특성은 '시적'(Poetic) 분위기의 창출에 기초하고 있음을 파악할 수 있었으며, 재료의 즉물성과 순수함은 모더니즘기의 추상적 사유와 연결되어 있음을 규명할 수 있었다. 쿠튀리에 신부는 르 코르뷔지에를 성미술 운동을 구현할 수 있는 가장 적합한 건축가로 인식하였으며, 이러한 사유는 롱샹 성당과 라투렛 수도원을 탄생시키는 직접적 동인이 되었음을 파악할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서는 20세기 중반 교회건축의 혁신을 일으켰던 성미술 운동의 전개과정과 쿠튀리에 신부가 펼친 건축개념의 분석을 통해 현대교회건축의 공간이미지 구성과 디자인에 지침과 교훈이 될 것으로 사료된다.

본 연구에서는 대한의학학술지편집인협의회가 1997년부터 1999년 사이에 평가한 76종의 국내 의학학술지가 받은 총 33개 평가항목의 각 항목별 평가점수와 총평점의 분포, 그리고 이들의 상관관계를 분석하여 각 평가지표의 변별력을 측정하였다. 한국 의학학술지의 대표적인(변별력이 높은) 평가지표는 투고논문의 상호심사와 관련된 평가항목과, 학술지가 일정한 형식으로 일관성 있게 잘 만들어지고 있는지를 평가하는 항목으로 판명되었다. 논문상호심사제도(peer review system)가 학술지의 질관리에 있어서 매우 중요하다는 것은 주지의 사실이다. 학술지의 철저한 편집(quality of editorial work)과 출판품질 관리(production quality)가 학술지 평가의 좋은 척도가 될 수 있다는 것은 학술지 평가사업의 경제성과 효율성의 측면에서 매우 고무적인 일이다. 편집인 교체빈도나 연간 발행회수 등은 변별력이 거의 없는 평가지표로 나타났다. 평가대상 학술지가 우리나라 의학도서관에 비치되어 있는 정도나 권말색인 작성여부 등 변별력이 낮은 평가항목의 변별력을 높이기 위해서는 평가방법의 개선이 필요하며, 자체학술지 인용비율, SCI 인용빈도나 영향력지표 등의 평가항목은 평가배점 구간의 조정이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. SCI에서의 인용과 국제 데이터베이스 등재여부만이 아니라, 국내 학술지가 인용하는 빈도나 영향력지표, 국내에서 구축되고 있는 의학관련 데이터베이스 등재 여부, 레코드 입력율 등의 새로운 평가지표 개발이 필요하다.

Hyang-Yack-Ku-Keup-Bang(鄕藥救急方) is our own, medical work written about the middle of the time of Korea Dynasty. I restored and researched this book because it needed to be illuminated about its medico-historic value and then I came to some conclusions as follows. 1. Hyang-Yack-Ku-Keup-Bang was published in Dae-jang-do-kam(大藏都監) of Kanghaw island(江華島) about the middle of Korea Dynasty. Choi Ja-ha(崔自河) republished it on original publication ground in Euiheung(義興) of Kyungsang-Province(慶尙道) in July, Taejong's(太宗) 17th year of Chosen Dynasty (A.D.1417) and this book was published again in Chungcheng Province(忠淸道) in Sejong's(世宗) 9th year(A.D.1427). The book published in Taejong's days was in the possession of books department of Kung-nae-cheng(宮內廳) in Japan and was the oldest medical book of existing ones. 2. Bang-Jung-Hyang-Yack-Mock-Cho-Bu(方中鄕藥目草部) of this book was originally intended to be adjusted in each division with the title of Bang-Jung-Hyang-Yack-Mock(方中鄕藥目). But Herb part(草部) only followed editing progress of Jeung-Lew-Bon-Cho(證類本草), the rest is not divided into each part and is together arranged at the below of Herb part with the title of Bang-Jung-Hyang-Yack-Mock-Cho-Bu. The Korean inscriptions on some drugstuffs in this book are different between Native Name(鄕名) of three volumes of provisions and general-spoken(俗云) of Bang-Jung-Hyang-Yack-Mock-Cho-Bu. In this, it is estimated that the publishing time and editor of tile volume of provisions and Bang-Jung-Hyang-Yack-Mock-Cho-Bu are different. I think Choi Ja-ha compiled this behind three volumes of provisions when he published. 3. This book picked some prescriptions which consisted of obtainable drugs with ease in Korea in the books of Chell-Keum-Yo-Bang(千金要方), Oi-Dae-Bi-Yo(外臺秘要), Tae-Peong-Sung-Hye-Bang(太平聖惠方), Ju-Hu-Bang(?後方), Kyung-Hum-Yang- Bang(經驗良方) Bo-Je-Bon-Sa-Bang(普濟本事方) Bi-Ye-Baik-Yo-Bang(備預百要方) and so on and got together our own prescriptions. On the whole Bi-Ye-Baik-Yo-Bang was a chief referrence book, On this, other books referred to and corrected. 4. In provisions quoted from Hyang-Yack-Jip-Sung-Bang(鄕藥集成方), there are seven provisions; leg-paralysis part, coughing part, headache part, obstetrics part, etc. don't show in this book. This is why Choi Ja-ha published only certain texts on Dae-jang-do-kam edition his own posession. So we can think the existing edition has a little misses compared with original edition. 5. This book recorded only names of drugstuffs in animal drug department like fowls, crab, goldbug, earthworm, etc. and didn't tell us ways of taking those. This is effect of Buddhist culture on medicine. This is efforts to practice 'Don't murder';one of Five Prohibition of Buddhism. 6. Beacause this book was published at the time, when our originative medicine would be set forth. This followed the Chinese ways in Theory, Treatment, Prescription and used 'Hyang Yack' in Medication out of theory of Korean medicine, which was a transitional form. So this is all important material which tell us aspects of development of 'Hyang Yack' the middle of Korea Dynasty.and this is also the beginning of originative, medical works like Dong-Eui-Bo-Kam(東醫寶鑑), Dong-Eui-Su-Bo-Won(東醫壽世保元). 7. There are few contents based on 'Byen-Jeung-Lon-Chi(辨證論治)'in this book. So we can see this book is not for doctors who study medical thoughts but for general public who suffer from diseases resulted from war. Because this book was written for a first-aid treatmeant, this is an index of medical service for the people those days. And this is also an useful datum for first-aid medicine or military medicine in these modern days. 8. Nowadays, parts of learned world of Korean medicine disregard essential theories and want to explain Korean medicine only by the theories or the methods of Western medicine. Moreover they don't adopt Chinese and Japanese theorys & thoughts about Oriental medicine in our own style and just view in there level. What was worse, there is a growing tendency for them to indulge in a trimming policy of scholarship and to take others' ideas. I think these trends to ignore our own medical thoughts involving growth of 'Hyang Yack' in the middle of Korea Dynasty, Dong-Eui-Bo-Kam and Dong-Eui-Su-Se-Bo-Won. So we, as researchers of Korean medicine, must get out of this tendency, and take over brilliant tradition and try to develop originative Korean medicine.
