친환경 조립식 빗물침투저류블록 구조체의 성능검토 (Performance Evaluation of Eco-Friendly Prefabricated Rainwater Permeable Detention Block Structure)

  • In this study, the performance evaluation and structural safety of rainwater permeation detention block were analyzed. As a result, the compressive strength (19.3 MPa), flexural strength (5.2 MPa), and permeability coefficient (2.0 mm/s) of the eco-friendly prefabricated rainwater permeable detention block satisfied the KS F 4419 and SPS-KCIC0001-0703 and it was confirmed sufficient safety even under maximum load.

Reflection Characteristics of Eco Block on Seabed

  • In order to protect coastal facilities mainly from wave and current actions, the self-locking eco blocks constituting elements of protecting shore structures against scouring were designed. These blocks are adapted to the sloping bottom, coastal dunes, and submerged coastal pipelines, counteracting the destructive and erosive impulse action. A series of laboratory experiments has been conducted to investigate the reflection of water waves over and against a train of protruded or submerged shore structures and compare the reflecting capabilities of incident waves including wave forces. In this study the hydraulic model experiment was conducted to identify the performance of newly designed water affinity eco blocks to keep the coast slope and bottom mound from scouring by reduction of the wave reflection and to convince stability of the block placement. Revised design of each block element was also tested for field conditions. From the result of experiments, the field applicability of the developed blocks and placement was discussed afterward.

박테리아 흡착 팽창질석 기반 친생태 잔디블록의 개발 (Development of Eco-Block for Grass Growth based on Expanded Vermiculite Absorbing Bacteria)

  • 본 연구에서는 박테리아를 흡착한 팽창질석 기반의 친생태 잔디블록의 압축강도 발현과 흡수율 및 생태환경영향 평가를 실시하였다. 경화된 콘크리트의 극건조 환경 및 강알칼리성 환경에서 생장이 가능하며, 식물생장성 증대 효과를 갖는 Bacillus alcalophilus와 Rhodoblastus acidophilus를 $10^9cell/mL$로 배양하여 혼합 사용하였다. 배양이 완료된 박테리아는 생장처 제공을 위한 재료로서 팽창질석에 흡착하였으며, 이를 잔디블록 제조 시 골재의 체적 대비 7.5%와 10% 혼입하였다. 개발된 친생태 잔디블록은 압축강도와 흡수율은 KS 규격을 만족하면서, 수질의 COD 저감, 어류생장 및 식물생장증대에 효과를 보였다.

  • Riparian vegetation distribution patterns and diversity relative to various fluvial geomorphic channel patterns, stream bank stabilization methods, and stream flow processes are described and interpreted for selected stream of Goesan, Central Korea. Idong Stream Pilot Project, which began in May 2003 and finished in December 2003, was selected to develop effective methods. The project aim to maintain or increase stream bank stabilization ecosystem goods and services while protecting downstream and stream bank ecosystem. A number of protecting methods which are a Flight of fieldstone, Vegetation block, Green river block, Stone net, Green environment block, Eco friendly cobble, Vegetation mat and Geo green cell and Firefly block were applied on the bank of Idong stream. The stream sites have been monitored about flora conditions each method in 2007. We selected 12 points for summer seasons to separately investigate in left bank, right bank and river bed. The main purpose of this study was to find out suitable methods and to improve stream restoration techniques for ecosystem. On the stream bank, Eco friendly cobble method(9.57) was the highest average of vegetation cover and Firefly block method(3.87) was the lowest average in applied methods.

생태축조블록의 국부적 안정성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Local Stability of Eco-block)

  • 본 연구에서는 생태축조블록을 적용한 보강토 옹벽의 국부적 안정성 검토에 필요한 보강재 인장력 계산법을 정립하고 국부적 안정성 검토와 관련한 주요 설계인자인 보강재와 블록 사이의 연결강도와 블록 접촉면 사이의 전단강도를 시험을 통해 규명하였다. 연결강도 시험결과에 따르면 생태축조블록의 내부를 흙으로 속채움하고 D13 이형철근을 사용할 경우 첨두 하중값은 이형철근의 허용인장력 정도임을 알 수 있었으며 D16 이형철근을 사용할 경우 첨두하중값은 허용인장력의 76% 정도였다. 생태축조블록의 내부를 콘크리트로 속채움하는 경우에 있어서 D10, D13 이형철근을 사용하였을 때의 연결강도는 각각의 이형철근의 허용인장력보다 크게 나타났다. 생태축조블록의 접촉면 전단시험결과를 통해 구한 전단저항 매개변수인 ${\alpha}_u$는 1.7kN/m 이었고 ${\lambda}_u$$27.6^{\circ}$ 이었다.

Performance Improvement of a Micro Eco Cross-Flow Hydro Turbine

  • This study is aimed to develop a new type of micro cross-flow hydro turbine which has very simple structure and relatively high efficiency. Micro eco cross-flow hydro turbine (ECFT) is proposed to apply in the ranges of very low and middle specific speeds in order to extend the operational range of the turbine. In order to not only obtain a basic data for a new design method of ECFT but also improve the turbine efficiency, experiments and CFD analysis on the performance and internal flow characteristics of the turbine model are conducted. According to the present study results, anti-recirculation block (ARB) and relatively wide turbine width with high flow rate improve the turbine efficiency.
