Objectives: Using a PHR(Personal Health Record) is very important for the management of chronic disease and health. The young age group in this study was asked to pretend that they were members in the old age group (adult group here after) in order to investigate the recognition level differences in such conditions. Methods: We conducted face to face surveys with two age groups. 131 Adults and 398 University students, from May 11 to 22 in 2009. The questionnaires were composed of 18 items. Results & Conclusion: Adults replied more favorably than University students in using PHR willingness(University group 3.3score, Adults 3.7score) and recommendation(university 3.1score, Adults 3.8score). Adults liked paper PHR (63.2%), whereas, University students favored electronic Personal Health Record (71.1%). University students were highly concerned about disclosing the information(4.5score) of their PHR. They thought the appropriate time of education for PHR is high school or University degree. Therefore, in the future, it is vital that a PHR for young age group should be begun in early education and that an ePHR should be developed.

This study has investigated the flame retardant properties of EPDM rubber with the addition of various flame retardants. Carbon black, stearic acid, zinc oxide cross-linking agent were mixed with EPDM rubber to produce the base rubber E0 without the addition of flame retardants. Phosphorus flame retardant Tricrecyl phosphate(TCP) was added to E0 in 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2 phr to make E1~E4 samples and red phosphorus was added in 3, 6, 9, 12 phr to make E5~E8 samples. A flame retardant of the bromine family Decabromodiphenyloxide(DBDPO), and a chlorinated paraffin retardant of the chlorine family was added to E0 in 3, 6, 9, 12 phr to make E9~E12 and E13~E16 samples, repectively. Basic physical properties such as tensile strength, tear strength and hardness were measured for all the rubber samples with various flame retardant additions. There was no substantial differences. On the other hand, Oxygen index and UL94 were measured to study flame retardant properties. From oxygen index measurements E0 sample showed a value of 23.5%, indicating the improvement of flame retardant properties. Also from UL94 measurements, it was found that addition of red phosphorus resulted in maximum flame retardant effect. It was found that increasing the amount of addition resulted in decreasing combustion rate and improving flame retardant effect regardless of the kind of flame retardant.

The melt grafting of unsaturated silanes onto polypropylene (PP) in a twin-screw extruder and crosslinking in hot water were studied to enhance impact strength of polypropylene. The influence of grafting formulations on the melt flow rates of grafted PP and the gel percentages of crosslinked PP was investigated. 3-methacryloylpropyltrimethoxysilane (VMMS) unsaturated silane monomer was used. Benzoyl peroxide, (BPO) and Dicumyl peroxide (DCP) were used as an initiator. When benzoyl peroxide (BPO) was used as an initiator, higher gel percentage and impact strength than those of DCP has been observed. The maximum impact strength was obtained with 0.7 phr of BPO and 2phr of VMMS. The value is 8.7 kgf-cm/cm and it is on a parity with the value of with 20 phr of EOR mixed to PP.

This paper presents the tracking resistance and mechanical strength due to boiling absorption of epoxy resin. The single network structure specimen(E series) formed of epoxy alone and interpenetrating polymer network(IPN) structure specimen(EM series) which epoxy resin was taken as first network and methacrylic acid resin as second network were manufactured. As adding $SiO^2$ filler classified by o[phr], 50[phr] and 100[phr] to those specimens, six kinds of specimens were manufactured and boiled in water during 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 and 64[hours]. As a result, it was confirmed that the tracking breakdown time of E series showed a abrupt decrease with boiling time increasing, but that of EM series was decreasing smoothly. Also, it was verified that the degrading rates of mechanical strength was lowerd according to improvement of adhension strength in case of EM series.
The morphology and mechanical properties of epoxy/polyamide/MPD/2E4MZ-CN reactive blends with various amount of catalyst were investigated. The cure behaviors, mechanical strengths, and morphological changes of the epoxy blend systems were analyzed by using DSC, UTM, and SEM, respectively. The amount of catalyst ranged from 0 to 3 phr, and the cure reaction occurred at $170^{\circ}C$ for 30 min. The maximum peaks in heat flow during cure reactions appeared at slightly lower temperature with increasing catalyst content, indicating that the cure reactions start at lower temperature by adding catalyst and polyamide rarely hinders the cure reaction paths. The co-continuous morphology was found in epoxy/polyamide(20 phr) blends and by adding catalyst to the blends much clearer and uniform co-continuous phase was observed. The surface tension of the mechanical test specimen was increased due to the AP plasma surface treatment, and then adhesion strength was increased by over 20% by adding 2 phr of catalyst to the blends. When considering morphological tuning of the blends by means of catalyst incorporation, it is expected that the increased elongation and adhesion strength can be achieved in the structural adhesive systems.
In this study, SBR (Styrene-butadiene rubber: solid content: 25 wt%) nanocomposites reinforced with carbon/organoclay(C18-MMT) were manufactured by a latex method. The SBR nanocomposites was made with the dual phase fillers. The mixing ratios, i.e. carbon black/C18-MMT, were 50/0, 49/1, 48/2, 47/3, 45/5, 44/6, 40/10. Total filler content of compounds was restricted to 50 phr. Cure characteristics and mechanical properties of SBR nanocomposites with carbon black and C18-MMT were evaluated. The SBR nanocomposites containing 49/1 ratio of carbon black/C18-MMT showed good dispersity and excellent values of ODR torque, tensile strength, modulus and tear energy. It was found that the improvement of the mechanical properties was mainly due to the reinforcing effect, i.e., the improvement of dispersion of silicates in the rubber matrix.

As a part of enhancing the performance of wood-plastic composites (WPC), polypropylene (PP)/ nanoclay (NC)/ wood flour (WF) nanocomposites were prepared using melt blending and injection molding process to evaluate their thermal stability. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) was employed to investigate thermal degradation kinetics of the nanocomposites both dynamic and isothermal conditions. Dynamic scans of the TGA showed an increased thermal stability of the nanocomposites at moderate wood flour concentrations (up to 20 phr, percentage based on hundred percent resin) while it decreased with the addition of 30 phr wood flour. The activation energy $(E_a)$ of thermal degradation of nanocomposites increased when nanoclay was added and the concentration of wood flour increased. Different equations were used to evaluate isothermal degradation kinetics using the rate of thermal degradation of the composites, expressed as weight loss (%) from their isothermal TGA curves. Degradation occurred at faster rate in the initial stages of about 60 min., and then proceeded in a gradual manner. However, nanocomposites with wood flour of 30 phr heated at $300^{\circ}C$ showed a drastic difference in their degradation behavior, and reached almost a complete decomposition after 40 min. of the isothermal heating. The degree of decomposition was greater at higher temperatures, and the residual weight of isothermal degradation of nanocomposites greatly varied from about 10 to 90%, depending on isothermal temperatures. The isothermal degradation of nanocomposites also increased their thermal stability with the addition of 1 phr nanoclay and of wood flour up to 20 phr. But, the degradation of PP100/NC1/MAPP3/WF30 nanocomposites with 30 phr wood flour occurs at a faster rate compared to those of the others, indicating a decrease in their thermal stability.

The thermal and mechanical properties and morphology of epoxy/polyamide/DDS/2E4MZ-CNS reactive blends with various amounts of polyamide were investigated. The amount of polyamide was 10, 20, and 30 phr and 2 phr of catalyst was added to the blend to cure at $180^{\circ}C$ for 30 min. By adding the catalyst, 2E4MZ-CNS, to the blend, the cure reaction occurred at a lower temperature. From the SEM images, it was found that the boundary of separated-phase was unclear and the phase was co-continuous. Without the catalyst, however, the boundary of separated-phase was clear. The control of cure temperature and morphology could be achieved by using a proper catalyst and consequently the mechanical strength increased by 20% compared to the blend without the catalyst due to the strong interaction between epoxy matrix and phase-separated polyamide at the interface.
Objective The purpose of this study is to analyze the daily life records of atopic dermatitis patients according to Sasang Constitution based on the data recorded using Personal Health Record (PHR) platform, and to find basic data for the Sasang Constitutional daily life management and prevention.
