Analysis of Rectangular Waveguide E-Plane Filters by the Method of Moments (구형 도파관내 전계면 필터의 모멘트법에 의한 해석)

  • In this paper, an efficient moment-method technique is proposed for analyzing rectangular waveguide E-plane filters. Techniques are presented for the fast evaluation of Green's function and for the efficient evaluation of integrals arising in the E-plane of the rectangular waveguide. The structure boundary is represented by the piecewise linear segments. Simple pulse-expansion and point-matching technique are used. The entire E-plane filter structure is simulated by the method of moments. Three representative cases of the E-plane filter are analyzed and compared with results by other researchers.

  • The authors have developed a solution method based on the incremental algorithm. The optimal load balance between feeders is found through the incremental algorithm with allowing the loop configuration. Therefore loops can be configured in the resulting configuration, and then we must eliminate all loops to satisfy radiality of distribution system because the distribution system is operated under radial status. But the optimal load balance through incremental algorithm is deteriorated when the loops are eliminated. In this paper, authors propose a new method which is to improve the searching procedure of path in the incremental algorithm, that is, so as not to make loop in the path configuration.

The influence of cultural differences on the e-business strategy

  • As the e-business developed fast and more firms embrace CRM as a core e-business strategy, it is getting more important to assess the firms. The CRM is approaching customer-centric. This approach focuses on the long-term relationship with the customers by providing the benefits of the customer rather than based on what the company wants to sell. How to establish the overall efficiency and effectiveness of a global enterprise becomes more and more important to the E-business. The study investigates the cross-national psychometric prosperities of the establishment in the E-business. Using a cross-national survey of customers from Korea and China to compare the Korean customers' acceptance of e-business with the Chinese customers', and compare the development of e-business in Korea with the development in China it will be found that Korea and China samples shared a somewhat similar factor structure. And there are also some differences between Korea and China. These findings suggest that the way to establish the e-business strategy is influenced by the cultural effects. So focusing on the cultural differences among the countries becomes more and more important, this study will help to analysis how to use the different cultural dimension to establish the better CRM system in the e-business field.

  • Over the fast few years, web-based e-Learning have made remarkable progress. According to advance of e-Learning, the evaluation of e-Learning effectiveness and success model become more important. This study had a focus on the effect of system characteristic of e-Learning systems and self-efficacy on learning performance. Data has been collected from 192 person experienced in e-Learning. The questionnaire method was adopted to collect the data for this study. The research was conducted by using SPSS 12.0 and AMOS 4.0. The research results and suggestions of the study are as follow. First of all, system quality and information quality of e-Learning system had positive relationship with perceived usefulness. Second, information quality was related positively to user satisfaction. Third, perceived usefulness was positively connected with user satisfaction. Fourth, user satisfaction and self-efficacy had relation to learning performance.

  • To face with the fast and ever changing telecommunication environments, we need a real time process management system that can detect abnormal events in real time and warn the suspicious events to operations personnel. Additionally, a real time process management system can be adapted fast to various services that are developed by telecom companies. In this paper we develop a real time process management system to monitor and analyze telecom operations and management processes in real time. Toward this, we design application and database architectures of telecom operations and management processes based on Enhanced Telecom Operations Map (eTOM) that is business process framework in telecommunication operations and management field and recognized as an international standard in ITU-T M.3050. With these application and databasearchitectures we implement eight main functions for the real time process management system based on service oriented architecture. Therefore, new services can be applied to these functions fast. Also, the functions can detect abnormal event fast. Finally, since the functions are developed along with the international standard, the system has the flexibility for the development in various situations. Overall, this research can be a good guideline of developing a process management system regarding the telecom operations and management field or other fields that need to manage the processes in real time.

  • To customer management finds and forecast customer's various pattern more easily and conveniently rising by important topic that control corporation's success and failure, mmy corporations are introducing CRM and eCRM fast. At past, customer management had been managed by statisticians or special statistics package but it is trend been alternating gradually by datamining technique to do to computerize statistics process based on sudden development of IT. Field that this datamining is used representatively is CRM, eCRM. This paper applied datamining using GA referencing customer data or discount store and sale data or 2004 years. forecasted 2005 years melancholy customer by datamining and proved datamining through comparison with actuality customer data is how effective to eCRM.
