  • 최근 다양한 형태와 함께 온라인 쇼핑들 간의 치열한 경쟁이 심화되고 있다. 이에 따라 온 오프라인에서 차별화된 특징이 경쟁력을 도모할 수 있게 되었으며, 젊은 계층인 연인들을 마케팅 대상으로 하는 커플 이벤트 기획이 필요하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 커플 및 젊은 구매계층들을 마케팅 대상으로 하며, 매출 향상을 목적으로 기획 및 구현된 사이트 개발을 목표로 하고 있다. 이를 위해서 기존 상업 사이트에 대한 이벤트 기획들에 대한 분석을 기반으로, 커플 생일을 마케팅 전략 및 다양한 기념 이벤트 및 고객들이 사이트를 방문하였을 때 이벤트가 한층 돋보이도록 마케팅 기획과 정보 배치를 중심으로 사이트를 구축하였다. 이를 통해 일부 고객층 대상으로 이벤트 효과 증대를 통한 매출 증대를 도모할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Impact of Information Sharing Regarding Customer Returns Ratio on Optimal Sales Strategy under E-commerce

  • A correct information of customer returns ratio under e-commerce is not always shared between supply chain (SC) members. Also, it is important issue for SC members to handle the unsold products in a market. This paper discusses the impact of information sharing of customer returns ratio on an optimal sales strategy including resale of customer returns and buyback policy for a SC under e-commerce with a manufacturer and a retailer. A retailer sells a single product and resells the resalable customer returns in the same market. A manufacturer produces the products and buys back the unsold products as to their quality from the retailer. The integrated SC (ISC) determines the optimal product order quantity to maximize the expected profit of the whole SC. The decentralized SC (DSC) makes the optimal decisions for order quantity and the wholesale price of products to maximize the expected profit of each SC member. The effect of information sharing is discussed between SC members under ISC and DSC. The analysis numerically investigates how information sharing of the returns ratio affects the optimal decision and the expected profits under ISC and DSC. Besides, effect of SC coordination to encourage the shift to ISC is discussed.

  • More and more people are gravitating to reading products reviews prior to making purchasing decisions. As a number of reviews that vary in usefulness are posted every day, much attention is being paid to measuring their helpfulness. The goal of this paper is to investigate firstly various determinants of the helpfulness of reviews, and intends to examine the moderating effect of product type, i.e., search or experience goods on the product sales, helpfulness and helpfulness votes of online reviews. The determinants include product data, review characteristics, and textual characteristics of reviews. The results indicate that the direct effect exists for the determinants of product sales, helpfulness, and helpfulness votes. Further, the moderating effects of product type exist for these determinants on three dependent variables. The results of study will identify helpful online review and design review sites effectively.

Consumer Evaluation of Multiple Sales Promotion: The Moderating Role of Saving Orientation

  • Multiple sales promotions for one product can be simultaneously offered. For instance, marketers can offer a premium along with a price discount. In the present research, we primarily focus on offers containing both a bonus pack and a price discount. In particular, this research examines whether consumer evaluations of offers containing both a bonus pack and a price discount (i.e., BP + PD offers) vary according to consumers' saving orientation. Specifically, we predict that for consumers with strong (vs. weak) saving orientation, offers containing the high PD but low extra amount of BP will be more favorably evaluated than offers with a high extra amount of BP but low PD. A series of two experimental results show that consumers' saving orientation moderates their evaluations of BP and PD offers, which supports the prediction. The findings imply that marketers can evoke more positive consumer responses to BP and PD offers, considering individual differences such as saving orientation.

The Effect of Rating Dispersion on Purchase of Experience Goods based on the Korean Movie Box Office Data

  • Online platforms often provide rating information to customers to relieve the uncertainty they encounter when purchasing experience goods. Prior research has focused mostly on the roles of rating volume and the valence of an average rating among the various possibilities. However, less frequently investigated is the effect of rating dispersion, which may be associated with uncertainty regarding how well a product fits a customer's personal preference, on new trials of experience goods. In this study, we examine the effect of rating dispersion on new trials of experience goods and identify the conditions which intensify or reduce the effect. Empirical analyses of movie box office sales data and online rating data reveal three interesting findings. First, movie sales decrease as movie ratings become increasingly dispersed. Second, the negative effect of rating dispersion on movie sales is more pronounced with more rating volume. Third, this negative effect weakens when additional information about a movie is available (i.e., higher average rating, greater star power, and time since its release). We discuss the academic and practical implications of our findings.

  • Ever since Hochschild (1983) introduced the concept of emotional labor in the workplace, it has constantly interested researchers due to its impact on employees' well-being as well as organizational outcomes. However, a thorough understanding of emotional labor and its relationship with various outcomes in sales people is not yet realized. In a systemic approach to the concept using quantitative methods is still necessary. The present study treats emotional labor as two factors (e.g. emotive dissonance and emotive effort). The psychological and behavioral outcomes of each sub-construct of emotional labor are investigated within a parsimonious framework. The findings suggest that emotional dissonance affected job satisfaction, while emotive effort had a significant influence on emotional exhaustion and job performance.

  • 본 논문에서는 소규모 기업을 위한 POP를 제작하여 이를 온라인 형태로 판매하므로써, 기존의 불분명한 목적의 디자인을 개선하고 분야별, 업종별 목적에 맞게 디자인된 POP(Point Of Purchase) 제품을 제작한다. 이는 지역상인, 재래시장, 소규모상점, 개인상점등에 고객을 매장으로 끌어들이는 고객 유도 역할을 대신해주고, 실 매출을 증대 시킬 수 있도록 제품의 직접적 홍보역할을 대신해주는 상품이다. 또한 이를 판매하기 위해 온라인 시스템을 이용하여, 유통비용과 소비자 비용부담을 모두 줄일 수 있는 일반회원과 기업회원이 모두 구매가 가능하도록 한다.

부산수산물의 유통개선정책에 관한 연구 (A Study on Policy of Distribution Improvement of Fishery Products in Busan)

  • In 2006, the share of fisheries distribution in Busan amounted to 1.9 million ton, which was 41 percent of the whole country. In details, coastal fishery 334 thousand ton(14% of the whole country), deep sea fishery 452 thousand ton(82%), import fishery 964 thousand ton(70%), export fishery 157 thousand ton(43%) were distributed in Busan region, respectively. According to distribution share, import(50%), deep sea fishery(24%), coastal fishery(18%), export(8%) are main category of fisheries distribution in Busan. After the institutional changes in 1997, that is, from monopoly to the competitive systems are implemented, the share of sales volume through a home trust market decreased gradually since 2000. Especially, the share of direct sales in farming fisheries sector amounted to 73.8 percent of total production volume, 80.7 percent of production value in 2005. Furthermore, the share of fisheries sale through e-commerce is increasing owing to the growth of IT and competitive price of its products. and the sale share of large discount store is also on the 10% more increase. Hereafter these structure changes of fisheries distribution in Busan will be more intensified. 모바일 게임 내 가상통화에 대한 이용자들의 효용 분석: S 모바일 게임을 중심으로 (Analysis of Users' Utility on the Virtual Currency in Mobile Games: Focusing on S Mobile Game)

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to verify mobile game users' perceived utilities about real (price) and virtual (Ruby) currencies, which are the major factors of in-app purchase (IAP) widely used as a business model in a mobile game industry. Design/methodology/approach By using sales volume and sales frequency data for products sold in an 'S' mobile game from the 'D' mobile game company, we conducted a conjoint analysis according to the procedure recommended by Bicheno (2009). Findings The results of this study indicate that (1) mobile game users have greater utility for a virtual currency (Ruby) than for a real currency (price), (2) mobile game users' utility for virtual (Ruby) and real (price) currencies varies depending on sales volume and sales frequency, as well as (3) mobile markets (e.g., Google Play Store vs. Apple App Store), and (4) mobile game users have greater utility for a virtual currency (Ruby) which can be used readily than later.
