  • It is very active that existing companies of providing e-Learning contents try to differentiate themselves through a business model based on Web 2.0. For instance, Etoos, online education website (www.etoos.com) run by SK Communications has made more space where students can participate in the Web 2.0 era and overhauled its website completely, turning into an open-ended one, which strengthens learning and fun in 2007. This study is to analyze the present state of e-Learning contents with representative e-learning sites for middle and high school students, to find that the development direction for next generation e-Learning lies in developing contents focusing on learners that can get effective feedback and drawing collective intelligence grounded on the essence of Web 2.0, and to suggest 'the project to form virtual private tutor community in e-Learning contents.'

  • Opening and participation, blog that mean public ownership, 2.0 series with UCC etc.. etc. is popularized to supply spread of latest web 2.0 technologies. While e-Learning was speaker initiative, lean much to elder brother knowledge last month and real condition that participation of learners is inactive in this running race meantime, e-Learning 2.0 that apply web 2.0 know-hows is offering environment that can spring this boundary. Because e-Learning applies well web 2.0, necessity of development of this running race 2.0 systems is risen with participation of learners and public ownership. e-Learning 2.0 may improve each other efficiency of study epochally exchanging studying method or know-how, information, summary notebook etc. with participation and public ownership.

  • The majority of students in higher education institutions are among generation Z. They have always depended on e-learning to support their learning activities. Therefore, higher education institutions should provide an attractive e-learning platform. E-learning interface design should be reviewed frequently to smoothen the interaction between students and the e-learning system. It is because interface design that fulfils generation Z students' preferences and expectations may upsurge their participation in e-learning. However, interface design has continually been condemned and turn out to be part of the problem that contributes to the failure of e-learning. Lack of consideration about generation Z students' preferences towards the interface design of e-learning is the factor that leads to these causes. Therefore, this study focused on identifying design characteristics of colour and graphic elements of e-learning from generation Z students' perception. This research involved a purposive sampling method for questionnaire among students of generation Z. The findings from this study could help e-learning developers to design the interface of e-learning that is suitable for generation Z students that will consider color and graphic as important characteristics.

  • The current article examines the interactions among students' attitudes to e-learning, their implementation of e-learning in their studies, and learning effectiveness. Significantly, it emphasizes the mediating role of accepting e-learning in training. It applied reliability analyses to test the measurement of items and construct validity, using the research data collected from students at Vietnam National University of Ho Chi Minh. Then, the current article used multiple regressions to inspect the causal relations; and applied procedures to investigate the mediating influence. The empirical results indicate students' attitude to e-learning positively influences their implementation of e-learning in their studies. When students apply e-learning in their studies, they likely achieve the best possible training effectiveness. Statistical evidence on the mediating role of accepting e-learning in training by students on the linkage between their attitude to e-learning and training effectiveness is revealed in this article. The findings of this article make some contributions. For educational administrators, it offers insight into the links among students' attitudes to e-learning, their implementation of e-learning in their studies, and training effectiveness, which likely allows them to establish suitable online training programs. This will be beneficial to both learners and educational institutes.

  • e-Learning contents are composed of compounding multimedia data. It requires many professionals in contents development stage. The process of e-learning contents development can be seen as a collaborative work. In the perspective of a collaborative work process, the whole process of e-learning contents development would be regarded as collaborative work process for each participant as well as for whole group members. Most of collaborative works in contents development field are widely distributed. Members of work groups require workspaces for sharing information and communicating each other. In addition to workspaces, it also needs to support collaborative reflection such as planning for collaborative work and monitoring for work process. This paper is intended to develop the reflective collaborative work system for e-Learning contents development in order to support the systemic process of e-learning contents development. The reflective collaborative work system is composed of four supportive parts: work flow management, personal workspace, collaborative workspace, and collaborative reflection.

  • The e-learning contents offered in the current educational system does not appropriately reflect the needs of actual users in the planning and development phases. Considering this problem, this study sets the following four topics as its research: Stability of e-learning; Obstacles of the applications of e-learning; e-learning contents that users wants to be offered besides lectures; and methods of e-learning, and based on these goals, it aims at determining the 'needs of the users for the promotion of e-learning. As the target of the study, a survey was conducted with 200 students who have experienced taking e-learning classes in four universities located in Eastern Seoul, which have introduced an e-learning system. The data collected from the survey went through data coding and data cleaning processes and were analyzed by year, major, and department using SAS 9 statistics package program. The result of this study showed that developing and offering services of e-learning contents that are customized to students based on their majors and year can become an effective plan for promoting e-learning.

  • This study was performed to evaluate the effect of the e-Learning application on the teaching learning method in Technology-Home Economics of Middle School. For e-Learning of clothing part, diverse teaching programs and contents were reconstructed and provided in cyber-space. Among the uploaded diverse materials including advanced and supplementary materials, students could make a choice which depends on their own levels. Since the results of assignments could be uploaded in cyber-space and easily accessible to all students, the reliablity of estimation was increased and self-directed learning ability was improved. Also, more effective teaching learning activity could be expected through the mutual exchange of opinion between students and teacher, and among students. Besides, counselling and advices on overall aspect of student's life were also possible. The students were generally satisfied to e-Learning instruction. The interest and understanding about clothing part were increased, and the academic attitude and habit were positively changed. Also they responded that e-Learning instruction were very helpful because learning was possible even after school, diverse materials for learning were available, and submitting the results of assignments was very convenient. In conclusion, the application of e-Learning on the teaching learning method was very effective and should be encouraged. The development and supplement of diverse programs and contents will be necessary for more successful e-Learning instructions.
