측편형어류에 대한 트롤 끝자루의 망목선택성 (The Mesh Selectivity of Trawl Cod-end for the Compressed From Fishes)

  • The fishing experiment was carried out by the training ship Saebada in order to analyse the mesh selectivity for trawl cod-end, in the Southern Korea Sea and the East China Sea from June. 1991 through August, 1992. The trawl cod-end used in this experiment has the trouser type of cod-end with cover net. and the mesh selectivity was examined for the five kinds of the opening of mesh in its cod-end part. A total of 163 hauls, of which having mesh size 51.2mm ; A 89, 70.2mm ; B 54, 77.6mm ; C 55, 88.0mm ; D 52 and 111.3mm ; E 20 were used respectively. Selection curves and selection parameters were calculated by using a logistic function, S=1/(1+exp super(-(aL+b)) ). The mesh election master curves were estimated by S=1/(1+exp super(-[a(L/M)+$\beta$]) ). and the optimum mesh size were calculated with (L/M) sub(50) of master curve. In these cases 'a' and '$\alpha$' are slope, 'b' and '$\beta$' are intercept. 'L' is body length of the target species of fishes, 'M' is the mesh size, and 'S' denotes mesh selectivity. In this report, the four species of compressed form fishes were taken analized according to fish shape, and 'S' denotes mesh selectivity. Red seabream Pagrus major(Temminct et Schlegel) and yellow porgy Dentex tumifrons(Temminct et Schlegel) ; Selection rate in each mesh size of A, B, C, D and E were 99.7%, 97.5%, 91.4%, 76.7% and 57.8% respectively. Selection parameters 'a' and 'b' of mesh sizes C, D and E were 2.65 and -28.62, 4.40 and -77.73, 2.31 and -46.99, and their selection factors were 1.39, 2.10, 1.83 respectively. Selection parameters of master curve '$\alpha$' and '$\beta$' were 3.05 and -5.65 respectively, and (L/M) sub(50) was 1.85. The optimum mesh size of Red seabream was 141mm. 2. Filefish Thamnaconus modestus (Gunther) ; Selection rate in each mesh size of A, B, C, D and E were 99.6%, 98.3%, 91.2%, 80.0% and 48.6% respectively. Selection parameters 'a' and 'b' of mesh sizes C, D and E were 5.82 and -55.10, 2.92 and -36.90, 3.91 and -63.09, and their selection factors were 1.35, 1.44, 1.45 respectively. Selection parameters of master curve '$\alpha$' and '$\beta$' were 3.02 and -4.32 respectively, and (L/M) sub(50) was 1.43. The optimum mesh size was 129mm. 3. Target dory Zeus faber Valenciennes ; Selection rate in each mesh size of A, B, C, D and E were 99.7%, 100%, 83.2%, 91.6% and 65.0% respectively. Selection parameters 'a' and 'b' of mesh sizes C, D and E were 3.85 and -32.46, 4.19 and -57.38, 2.45 and -40.03, and their selection factors were 1.09, 1.56, 1.47 respectively. Selection parameters of master curve '$\alpha$' and '$\beta$' were 2.64 and -3.53 respectively, and (L/M) sub(50) was 1.34. The optimum mesh size was 127mm. 4. Butterfish Psenopsis anomala (Temminct et Schlegel) ; Selection rate in each mesh size of A, B, C, D and E were 99.2%, 34.1%, 46.5%, 14.3% and 2.4% respectively. Selection parameters 'a' and 'b' of mesh sizes B, C and D were 5.35 and -71.70, 5.07 and -69.25, 3.31 and -62.06 and their selection factors were 1.91, 1.75, 2.13 respectively. Selection parameters of master curve '$\alpha$' and '$\beta$' were 3.16 and -6.24 respectively, and (L/M) sub(50) was 1.98. The optimum mesh size was 71mm.

  • 1986년(年)에 전국적(全國的)으로 수집(蒐集)한 강피 6 수집종(蒐集種)과 피(돌피, 물피) 17수집종(蒐集種)을 곤시(供試)하여 pyrazolate, bifenox 및 quinclorac 에 대한 감수성(感受性)및 내성반응(耐性反應)을 검정(檢定)한 결과(結果)는 다음과 같다. 1. Pyrazolate에 의한 백화고사반응(白化枯死反應)은 강피종(種)보다 피종(種)이 감수적(感受的)이었으며, 피종(種) 중(中)에서도 구미, 이천(利川)-A, 이천(利川)- B, 부은(報恩)-B 및 광주(光州)-B 종(種)은 특(特)히 감수성(感受性)이 컸고, 격주(慶州), 안성(安城), 보은(報恩)-A, 정주(井州)-A 및 광주(光州)-A 종(種)은 강피보다 내성(耐)性이 컸다. 2. Bifenox에 의한 twisting 및 생장억제반응(生長抑制反應)은 강피 종(種이) 내성(耐性)이면서 종내변이(種內變異)가 작았던 반면(反面), 피종(種)은 감수성(感受性)이면서종내변이(種內變異)가 컸다. 피종중(種中)에서도 보은(報恩)- B, 안성(安城), 이천(利川)-A, 이천(利川)- B, 원주(原州) 및 광주(光州)-B 종(種)은 특(特)히 감수성(感受性)이었던 반면(反面)에, 진양(晋陽), 정주(井州)-A, 정주(井州)-B, 대전(大田), 구례(求禮) 및 광주(光州)-A종(種)은 강피와 비등(比等)한 내성(耐性)올 보였다. 3. Quinclorac에 의한 생장억제(生長柳制) 및 고사반응(枯死反應)은 강피종(種)이 감수성(感受性)이면서 종내변이(種內變異)가 작았던 반면(反面), 피종(種)은 내성(耐性)이면서도 종내변이(種內變異)가 컸다. 피종(種)가운데 보은(報恩)-A, 이리(裡里), 정주(井州)-A, 정주(井州)-B, 광주(光州)-A 및 광주(光州)-B는 강피와 비등(比等)한 감수성(感受性)이었으나, 김해(金海), 경주(慶州), 구미, 원주(原州), 이천(利川)-A. 이천(利川)-B 및 안성종(安城種)은 강(强)한 내성(耐性)을 보였다. 4. 강피종(種)은 pyrazolate와 bifenox에 내성(耐性)이면서 quinclorac 에는 감수성(感受性) 경향(傾向)이었고, 피종(種)은 이들 반응(反應)에 일양성(一樣性)이 없었다. 즉, 3 약제(藥劑) 모두에 내성(耐性)인 피종(種)은 구례(求禮), 김해(金海) 및 대전종(大田種)이었고. pyrazolate 및 bifenox 에 내성(耐性)이면서 quinclorac에 감수성(感受性) 종(種)은 이리, 정주(井州)-A, 정주(井州)-B, 광주(光州)-A종(種)이었으며. 이와 반대반응(反對反應)을 보인 것은 구미, 원주(原州), 이천(利川)-A, 이천(利川)-B, 보은(報恩)-B 및 광주(光州)-B종(種)이었다. 5. 피 수집종(蒐集種)에 대한 반응경향(反應傾向)으로 볼 때, pyrazolate와 bifenox는 서로 유사(類似) 경향(傾向)이었으나 quinclorac은 이들과 상치(相値)되는 반응경향(反應傾向)이었다.

무선통신 채널에서 RS/길쌈 연쇄부호와 세미 랜덤 인터리버를 이용한 터보코드의 성능 분석 (Performance Analysis of Reed Solomon/Convolutional Concatenated Codes and Turbo code using Semi Random Interleaver over the Radio Communication Channel)

  • 본 논문은 무선 통신 채널 상에서 RS/길쌈 연쇄부호와 세미 랜덤 인터리버를 이용한 터보코드의 성능을 분석하였다. 그 결과 터보코드는 인터리버의 크기ㅗ아 구속장, 반복복호횟수가 증가할수록 성능이 향상하였다. 그리고 구속장 L=5, BER=10-4 일때 RS/길쌈 연쇄부호와 세미 랜덤 인처리버를 이용한 터보코드의 $E_b/N_o$ 값은 각각 4.5[dB]와 2.95[dB]로 세미 랜덤 인터리버를 이용한 터보코드의 성능이 약 1.55[dB] 우수함 입증하였다.

전처리 방법에 따른 홍게(Chionoecetes japonicus) 어간장의 제조 및 품질변화 (Effects of Preprocessing on Quality of Fermented Red Snow Crab Chionoecetes japonicus Sauce)

  • We explored preprocessing-mediated quality changes in red snow crab fish sauce. A control (C) group and groups treated with autolysis (A), boiling (B), enzymatic hydrolysis (E), and addition of Aspergillus oryzae (K) were formed. The titratable acidity of the K group increased with storage time, whereas that of groups C, A, B, and E decreased. The total and amino nitrogen contents initially increased on storage of all samples, but decreased in later periods. The total plate count (TPC) of the K group was initially 5.26 log CFU/mL and increased to 7.28 log CFU/mL at 3 months of storage. The TPCs of the C, A, B, and E groups were initially <5.00 log CFU/mL and decreased with storage. The lactic acid bacteria count of the K group was initially 4.80 log CFU/mL and increased until month 5 to approximately 6.06 log CFU/mL. The K group scored higher in terms of sensory attributes than the other groups and maintained marketable scores for all relevant properties (color, flavor, off-odor, and overall acceptance). Furthermore, the free amino acid content of the K group was the highest among all groups at approximately 3,000 mg per 100 g. These results suggest that K treatment may be beneficial in the preparation of fermented fish sauce.

Comparative Analysis of Tagatose Productivity of Immobilized L-Arabinose Isomerase Expressed in Escherichia coli and Bacillus subtilis

  • Although arabinose isomerase (E.C. 5.3.1.4), a commercial enzyme for edible tagatose bioconversion, can be expressed in an Escherichia coli system, this expression system might leave noxious by-products in food. To develop an eligible tagatose bioconversion with food-safe system, we compared the tagatose production activity of immobilized arabinose isomerase expressed in Bacillus subtilis (a host generally recognized as safe) with that of the enzyme expressed in E. coli. A 48% increase in tagatose production (4.3 g tagatose/L at $69.4\;mg/L{\cdot}hr$) was found using the B. subtilis-expressed immobilized enzyme system, compared to the E. coli-expressed enzyme system (2.9 g tagatose/L). The increased productivity with safety of the B. subtilis-expressed arabinose isomerase suggests that it is a more eligible candidate for commercial tagatose production.

쥐눈이콩-노루궁뎅이버섯 균사체 발효물의 생리활성 (Physiological Activity of the Fermented Small Black Soybean (Rhynchosia volubilis) with a Solid State Culture of the Bearded Tooth Mushroom (Hericium erinaceum) Mycelia)

  • To enhance the physiological activity of the Rhynchosia volubilis (RV), R. volubilis (RVHE-A) and R. volubilis-added herbal powder (RVHE-B) were fermented with a solid state culture of Hericium erinaceum mycelia (HE). The total isoflavone contents of the non-fermented RV-A ($489.9{\mu}g/g$) and RV-B ($571.1{\mu}g/g$) were remarkably increased in fermented RVHE-A ($1,836.4{\mu}g/g$) and RVHE-B ($1,276.7{\mu}g/g$). In particular, aglycone isoflavones such as daidzein and genistein were significantly higher in the RVHE-A than any other sample. When hot-water (HW) and EtOH extracts (E) were fractionated from the RV and RVHE, both extracts from the RVHE-A were higher than those from the RV-A in total polyphenol and flavonoid contents. However, the RVHE-B-HW showed a lower polyphenol and flavonoid content level than did RV-B-HW. RVHE-A-HW and -E also had more potent ABTS radical scavenging activity than any extract from the non-fermented RV and other ferments (RVHE-B). In the meanwhile, RVHE-A-HW potently stimulated the production of macrophage activation-related cytokines such as $TNF-{\alpha}$, IL-6 and IL-12 ($841.7{\pm}71.3pg/mL$, $3.9{\pm}0.1ng/mL$, $179.3{\pm}30.2pg/mL$) from peritoneal macrophage more than RV-A-HW ($92.5{\pm}1.5pg/mL$, $0.1{\pm}0.0ng/mL$, $37.4{\pm}5.4pg/mL$) as well as RVHE-B-HW ($557.0{\pm}21.3pg/mL$, $1.8{\pm}0.0ng/mL$, $90.0{\pm}10.0pg/mL$). However, all the EtOH extracts did not show significant activity. In addition, the RVHE-A-HW showed a significantly higher intestinal immune system modulating activity through Peyer's patch and GM-CSF production than did any other extract from RV and RVHE-B. In conclusion, these results suggest that the fermented R. volubilis with H. erinaceum mycelia possesses a possible use as an industrial application as functional food or material.

In Vivo Antifungal Effects of Coptis japonica Root-Derived Isoquinoline Alkaloids Against Phytopathogenic Fungi

  • The fungicidal activities of Coptis japonica (Makino) extracts and their active principles were determined against Botrytis cineria, Erysiphe graminis, Phytophthora infestans, Puccinia recondita, Pyricularia grisea, and Rhizoctonia solani using a whole plant method in vivo, and compared with natural fungicides. The responses varied according to the plant pathogen tested. At 2,000 mg/l, the chloroform and butanol fractions obtained from methanolic extracts of C. japonica exhibited strong/moderate fungicidal activities against B. cinerea, E. graminis, P. recondita, and Py. grisea. Two active constituents from the chloroform fractions and one active constituent from the butanol fractions were characterized as isoquinoline alkaloids, berberine chloride, palmatine iodide, and coptisine chloride, respectively, using spectral analysis. Berberine chloride had an apparent $LC_{50}$ value of approximately 190, 80, and 50 mg/l against B. cinerea, E. graminis, and P. recondita, respectively; coptisine chloride had an $LC_{50}$ value of 210,20, 180, and 290 mg/l against B. cinerea, E. graminis, P. recondita, and Py. grisea, respectively; and palmatine iodide had an $LC_{50}$ value of 160 mg/l against Py. grisea. The isoquinoline alkaloids were also found to be more potent than the natural fungicides, curcumin and emodin. Therefore, these compounds isolated from C. japonica may be useful leads for the development of new types of natural fungicides for controlling B. cinerea, E. graminis, P. recondita, and Py. grisea in crops.

대두 발효식품으로부터 분리한 Bacillus subtilis HS 25가 생산한 항균물질의 특성 (Characterization of an Antibacterial Substance Produced by Bacillus subtilis HS 25 Isolated from Fermented Soybean Foods)

  • 대두 발효식품으로부터 분리 동정한 B. subtilis HS 25가 생산한 항균물질의 특성을 검토하였다. 열안정성을 검토한 결과, $100^{\circ}C$에서 10분 처리에서는 항균활성이 전혀 떨어지지 않았지만 15분 이상의 처리에서는 항균활성이 약간 떨어지는 경향을 보였다. pH 안정성은 pH $4.5{\sim}5.0$의 산성측보다 pH $7.42{\sim}12.0$까지의 알칼리 범위에서 안정된 항균활성을 유지하였다. 특히, E. coli 및 P. mirabilis에 대한 항균활성은 pH 12.0에서도 대조구와 거의 대등한 활성을 나타내었다. 최소저해농도는 E. coli가 5 mg/mL로 가장 낮았으며, P. mirabilis는 7.5 mg/mL, S. aureus, S. enteritidis, K. pneunoniae 및 V. parahaemolyticus 균주에서는 15mg/mL를 나타내었다. B. subtilis HS 25 균주가 생산한 항균물질을 E. coli, S. enteritidis 및 P. mirabilis에 각각 처리하였을 때 균체의 표면이 불규칙적으로 변형되어 심한 형태적 변화가 일어났음을 관찰할 수 있었다. B. subtilis HS 25균주가 생산한 항균물질은 papain에 의해서는 분해되지 않지만, A. orzae 유래의 protease과 pancreatin 및 pepsin의 효소에 의해서 완전히 분해되어 항균활성이 전혀 나타나지 않았다.

유치레진치의 전치부 색조연구 (A STUDY ON THE COLORS OF THE ANTERIOR PRIMARY RESIN TEETH)

  • 유전치의 조기상실시 가철성 또는 고정성 공간유지장치의 제작이 필요하며, 보다 심미적인 결과를 얻기 위해서는 자연치아의 색조에 부합하는 레진치의 사용이 요구된다. 현재 가장 많이 사용되는 유치레진치는 Resin Natural $Teeth^{TM}$ (Nissin dental, Japan)로, A형 1번 색조와 A형 2번 색조로 구성되어 있다. 본 연구는 유치레진치의 전치부 색조특성을 이해하고 자연치아와의 색조비교를 위한 기본 자료를 만들기 위한 목적으로, A1 색조군과 A2 색조군의 유치레진치의 상악 4전치부의 순면을 각각 17 set에 대해 치아분광측색장치(spectrophotometer)인 ShadeEye $NCC^{TM}$(Shofu, Japan)로 각 3회씩 측정하여 CIE 표색계의 $L^*,\;a^*,\;b^*$ 값을 구하고 Kruskall-Wallis Test, Mann-Whitney U Test를 이용해 95%의 신뢰도(P<0.05)로 분석하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. ${\Delta}E$값 및 $L^*$값, $b^*$값의 분포로 볼 때, A1 색조군이 A2 색조군보다 치아위치별 색조차이가 작았다. 각 색조군내에서 $a^*$값의 치아위치별 색조차이는 거의 없었다(P>0.05). 2. A1 및 A2 색조군내에서의 ${\Delta}E$값이 매우 작아(최대 ${\Delta}E{\le}1.23$) 육안으로 그 차이를 구분하기 어려운 것으로 보이며, A1과 A2 색조군의 대표값 간의 ${\Delta}E$값은 3.97로 육안으로 군 간의 차이를 구분할 수 있었다. 3. A1 색조군의 측정평균값은 $L^*=73.8$, $a^*=-1.8$, $b^*=-4.7$이었으며, A2 색조군의 측정평균값은 $L^*=75.8$, $a^*=-2.7$, $b^*=-1.4$이었다. 향후 자연 유전치에 대한 색조특성을 연구하여 본 결과와의 차이점을 비교해 색조적합성이 좋은 레진치의 개발이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

  • A series of S-(2,2-diethoxycarbonyl-1-phenylethyl)-L-cysteine derivatives (10a-e) were synthesized from the reaction of $\beta$$\beta$-diethoxycarbonylstyrene with L-cysteine in 1:1 aqueous methanol. Thus, S-(2,2-diethoxycarbonyl-1-phenylethyl)-L-cysteine( 10a), S-[2,2-diethoxycarbonyl-1-(3',4'-methylendioxy)ph enylethyl]-L-cysteine (10b), S-[2,2-diethoxycarbonyl-1-(3',4',5'-trimethoxy)phe nylethyl]-L-cyseine (10c), S-[2,2-diethoxycarbonyl-1-(p-hydroxy)phenylethyl] -L-cysteine (10d), S-[2,2-diethoxycarbonyl-1-(p-methoxy)phenylethyl] -L-cysteine (10e) were obtained in moderate to excellent yields. The structure of the adducts was characterized by analytical and spectral data. The effects of pH upon the product yields were also briefly examined.
