입력 조건에 따른 지능센서의 대상물 인식능력 분석( I ) (Analysis of the Recognition Ability of Objects for the Smart Sensor According to the Input Condition Changing ( I ))

  • This paper deals with the sensing ability of the smart sensor that has the sensing ability to distinguish materials according to the input condition changing. This is a study of dynamic characteristics of sensor. We have developed a new signal processing method that can distinguish among different materials. The smart sensor was developed for recognition of materials. Experiments and analysis were executed to estimate ability to recognize objects according to the input condition. First, we developed the advanced smart sensor. Second, we developed the new method, which has the capability sensing of different materials. Dynamic characteristics of the smart sensor were evaluated relatively through a new $R_{SAI}$ method. According to frequency changing, influence of the smart sensor are evaluated through a new recognition index ($R_{SAI}$) that ratio of sensing ability index. Applications of this method are for finding abnormal conditions of objects (auto-manufacturing), feeling of objects (medical product), robotics, safely diagnosis of structure, etc.

  • 고무부싱은 차량부품들을 서로 연결하고 차체로 전달되는 진동을 줄여주는 역할을 하는 중요한 요소로써 가진변위와 주파수에 대해서 모두 비선형 특성을 보이며, 특히 주기적인 가진에 대해 히스테리시스 현상을 나타낸다. 본 논문에서는 1축 내구시험기를 이용하여 차량 현가 장치에 사용되는 부싱을 축 방향과 반경 방향에 대해 사인가진과 랜덤가진을 주어 특성을 살펴보았고 이러한 특성을 반영할 수 있는 동역학적 모델을 인공신경망을 이용하여 개발하였다. 실험결과는 신경망의 입력자료로 활용되었고, 오차역전파 알고리즘을 이용하여 실험적 부싱모델을 개발하였다. 개발된 실험적 부싱모델을 차량 시뮬레이션에 적용하여 유용성을 살펴보았다.

뉴럴 포텐셜 필드 알고리즘을 이용한 이동 로봇의 지역 경로계획 (Local Path Planning for Mobile Robot Using Artificial Neural Network - Potential Field Algorithm)

  • Robot's technology was very simple and repetitive in the past. Nowadays, robots are required to perform intelligent operation. So, path planning has been studied extensively to create a path from start position to the goal position. In this paper, potential field algorithm was used for path planning in dynamic environments. It is used for a path plan of mobile robot because it is elegant mathematical analysis and simplicity. However, there are some problems. The problems are collision risk, avoidance path, time attrition. In order to resolve path problems, we amalgamated potential field algorithm with the artificial neural network system. The input of the neural network system is set using relative velocity and location between the robot and the obstacle. The output of the neural network system is used for the weighting factor of the repulsive potential function. The potential field algorithm problem of mobile robot's path planning can be improved by using artificial neural network system. The suggested algorithm was verified by simulations in various dynamic environments.

  • 실시간 전략 게임은 인간 혹은 컴퓨터를 상대로 하는 게임 장르이다. 이것은 턴방식의 컴퓨터게임과는 게임 진행 방식이 상이하다. 체스와 같은 턴방식은 오직 한 명의 플레이어의 동작을 허용하지만 실시간 전략게임은 복수의 플레이어의 동시다발적인 동작을 허용한다. 따라서 실시간 전략게임에서는 게임 내 유닛들의 이동경로는 자원채취, 건물건설, 그리고 전투 프로세스들의 처리를 위한 충분한 시간을 확보하기 위해 신속히 계산되어야 한다. 경로계산에 필요한 메모리, 탐색공간, 유닛들의 반응속도를 향상시키려는 여러 접근방식들이 소개되고 있다. 현재의 경로계산 알고리즘들은 최상 경로계산에 치중한 나머지 실시간 전략게임에서의 계산 과부하 문제를 고려하고 있지 않다 .이런 점에서 본 논문은 탐색공간을 줄이고 유닛들의 반응속도를 높이는 DHA*(Dynamic Heuristic Af) 알고리듬을 제안하고, 기존 A* 알고리듬과 비교하여 본 제안 DHA* 알고리듬의 성능이 우수함을 입증한다.

  • Thesedays, the reduction of hand-transmitted vibration of hand-held power tools is important issue for operators' welfare, In the study, frequency response function is measured and vibration total value is evaluated for solving the principle and effect of the BOSCH's vibration-proof handle. This handle functions as a dynamic damper and has the effect, 22% vibration total value reduction under idling condition using a system that consists of a PC with data acquisition system and LabVIEW program. The program in the system makes it possible to evaluate vibration total value according to ISO 5349. This handle offers a good example for figuring out the physical contradiction between the work efficiency and operators' health.

  • The objectives of this study is at the development of the channel routing model which can be used for flood prediction. Among the routing models, the hydraulic technique of the implicit scheme in the dynamic equation is selected to route the unsteady varied flow in the open channel. The channel routing model is catchment runoff which computed by the conceptual and transfer function model. The conceptual and transfer function model can simulate the catchment runoff accurately. As a result of investigating the channel routing model, the optimal weighting factor ${\theta}$ which fixes two points between time line is chosen, and also, the optimal error tolerance which satisfies computing time and converge of solution is determined in this study.

  • In this paper, we investigate and analyze the problems encountered in frame-based estimation of TDOA(Time Difference of Arrival) using CPSP function. Spectral leakage occurring in framing of a speech signal by a rectangular window makes estimation of CPSP spectrum inaccurate. Framing with a Hamming window to reduce the spectral leakage effect distorts the signal due to the different weighting at temporally same sample, which make the TDOA estimation using CPSP function inaccurate. In this paper, we solve this problem by reducing the dynamic range of the spectrum of a speech signal with preemphasis. Experimental results confirm that the framing of pre-emphasized microphone output with a rectangular window shows higher success ratio of TDOA estimation than any other framing methods.

  • This paper proposes a sliding mode controller with fuzzy adaptive perturbation compensator(FAPC) to get a good control performance and reduce the chatter, The proposed algorithm can reduce the chattering because the proposed fuzzy adaptive perturbation compensator compensates the perturbation terms. The compensator computes the control input for compensating unmodeled dynamic terms and disturbance by using the observer-based fuzzy adaptive network(FAN) The weighting parameters of the compensate. are updated by on-line adaptive scheme in order to minimize the estimation error and the estimation velocity error of each actuator. Therefore, the combination of sliding mode control and fuzzy adaptive network gives the robust and intelligent routine to get a good control performance. To evaluate the control performance of the proposed approach, tracking control is experimentally carried out for the hydraulic motion platform which consists of a 6-DOF parallel manipulator.

스코어 기반 관측신뢰도를 이용한 잡음환경하 화자식별 (Speaker Identification Using Score-based Confidence in Noisy Environments)

  • The performance of speaker identification is severely degraded in noisy environments. Recently probability weighting method based on observation membership was proposed for overcoming the noise problem[1]. In the paper[1] the observation confidence was calculated from SNR with sigmoid function. However, estimating SNR needs additive calculation amount and estimated SNR is corrupted in dynamic noisy environments. In this paper we propose estimation methods of the observation confidence based on score-based reliabilities (SBR) of entropy and dispersion measures. Generally SBRs are obtained from speaker models' probabilities. The proposed methods are evaluated with ETRI speaker recognition DB. We compared the performances of the proposed methods with those in [1][8]. The experimental results show that the proposed methods can be successfully applied for the case where SNR is not available.

  • In this paper, a robust receding horizon controller for uncertain linear time-varying systems is presented in the dynamic output-feedback form. The existing output-feedback receding horizon controller in the literature is composed of a state observer and a static controller associated with the observer states (similar to LQC control), where the fundamental assumption is that the state observer will supply the exact states as time goes up. The performance of those controllers may be much degraded and even the closed-loop stability may not be guaranteed when the system suffers from disturbances and uncertainties or is time-varying. The proposed controller, which is not necessary to have the state-observer, overcomes such difficulties.
