This study analyze the synoptic meteorological cause of rainfall, rainfall intensity, drop size distribution(DSD), fall velocity and oblateness measured by the 2D-Video distrometer(2DVD) by comparing two cases which are heavy rainfall event case and a case that is not classified as heavy rainfall but having more than $30mm\;h^{-1}$ rainrate in July, 2014 at Gimhae region. As a results; Over the high pressure edge area where strong upward motion exists, the convective rain type occurred and near the changma front, convective and frontal rainfall combined rain type occurred. Therefore, rainrate varies based on the synoptic meteorological condition. The most rain drop distribution appeared in the raindrops with diameters between 0.4 mm and 0.6 mm and large particles appeared for the convective rain type since strong upward motion provide favorable conditions for the drops to grow by colliding and merging so the drop size distribution varies based on the location or rainfall types. The rainfall phases is mainly rain and as the diameter of the raindrop increase the fall velocity increase and oblateness decrease. The equation proposed based on the 2DVD tends to underestimated both fall velocity and oblateness compared with observation. Since these varies based on the rainfall characteristics of the observation location, standard equation for fall velocity and oblateness fit for Gimhae area can be developed by continuous observation and data collection hereafter.

This study examines structures and characteristics of movie consumption media. Using survey data, this research focused on combinations of movie platforms including theater, video, DVD, terrestrial television, cable television and the Internet. The results indicated that there were forty eight combinations in accessing theatrical movies. The market share of theaters was approximately 33.5%. However, this has increased to 64.50% in case of integrating other movie consumption media. The results of Chi-Square analysis showed that although the older movie-goers prefer to theaters, the youngers like to access other movie media. In addition, many movie-goers tended to replicate their viewing at the theater.

Several equalizers are applied to the DVD-ROM(Digital Versatile Disc-Read Only Memory) system. Because imperfect writing process may cause nonlinear distortion in the reply signal, neural equalizers which have strong nonlinear mapping capability are applied to the system to compensate the nonlinear distortion. Experimental results to verify that the combination of decision-feedback type equalizers and modulation code is formidable are also given. The experimental results shwo that the SNR gain of the neural equalizers over the conventional equalizers becomes much as the nonlinearity in the channel increases. Furthermore, the decision-feedback type equalizers outperform the equalizers which have no decision-feedback in eliminating ISI(Intersymbol Interference) of random data sequence but there is no performance gain of the decision-feedback type equalizers over the equalizers without decision-feedback when these are applied to compensate the ISI of modulation-encoded data sequence.

일본은 CD-DVD-Blueray로 이어지는 정보 저장기기 국제표준화 주도에서 볼 수 있듯이 표준의 역사와 경험에 있어서는 한국에 월등히 앞섬은 물론 세계를 주도한 국가였다. 그러나 최근의 산업 현장에서의 동향을 보면 표준활동의 폭과 깊이가 예전에 못 미치는 것이 현실이다. 왜 이런 현상이 벌어졌는 지를 고찰해 보는 것도 우리의 표준역량을 높이는 과정에서 의미있는 일이 될 것 같다.

다양한 기술 배경하에 핵심기술은 어떻게 해서 그 수많은 정보량을 간단하고 편리하게 저장(메모리)하고 재생해야 하는 것에 달려있다. 보다 많은 정보의 저장 및 재생을 위해서도 다양한 기술이 필요하지만 본 고에는 가정용 PC와 더불어 일반 사람들이 많이 사용하고 있는 CD-R, DVD Player 내에 구성된 광 픽업과 광 픽업대물렌즈에 대한 기술 및 특허 동향에 대해서 알아보기로 한다.
