최근 처리해야 하는 정보의 양의 급속히 배가됨에 따라 디스크 배열(disk array) 시스템에서 사용하는 디스크의 수가 증가되는 경향을 보이고 있다. 그러나 많은 수의 디스크를 이용하여 디스크 배열을 구성하게 되면 디스크 오류 발생 확률을 높이는 결과로 이어지게 된다. 이 논문에서는 많은 수의 디스크를 사용하는 환경에서도 높은 신뢰성을 제공하기 위하여 DH(Diagornal-Horizontal) 기법이라 불리는 두가지 형태의 이중 패리티 배치 기법들을 제안한다 제안한 기법들은 사선 패리티와 수평 패리티를 인코딩하여 이용함으로써 디스크 배열에서 이중 디스크 오류의 복구가 가능하다. DH 기법들의 특징은 알고리즘이 단순하고, N을 임의의 소수라고 할 때 N 또는 N+1개의 디스크를 기반으로 쉽게 구현할 수 있다. 기본적으로 제안하는 기법들은 검사정보 저장을 위해 최적의 디스크 공간을 사용하고, 인코딩이나 디코딩 과정에서 단지 XOR 연산만을 필요로 하기 때문에 하드웨어의 수정 없이 기존의 디스크 배열 시스템에 쉽게 응용할 수 있다. 더욱이 치명적 오류를 방지할 수 있는 두 오류 디스크에 대한 복구 시간은 디코딩에서의 XOR 연산수를 최소화함으로써 신속하게 처리할 수 있다. 결과적으로 제안하는 기법들은 디스크 배열 시스템에서의 치명적 오류 확률을 낮출 수 있는 효과적인 방법이다.

캐쉬의 성능을 향상시키는 가장 효과적인 방법은 프로그램 수행 특성에 내재되어 있는 시간적 (temporal locality) -공간적 지역성 (spatial locality)을 활용하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 추가적인 장치나 컴파일러의 도움 없이 단지 캐쉬의 구조적인 특징과 간단한 메커니즘만을 이용하여 두 가지 타입의 지역성을 효과적으로 반영할 수 있는 새로운 캐쉬 시스템이 제안된다. 제안하는 새로운 캐쉬 시스템은 다른 블록 크기와 다른 연관도를 가지는 두 개의 캐쉬로써 구성되어 진다. 즉 작은 블록 크기를 지원하는 직접사상 캐쉬 (direct-mapped cache)와 큰 블록을 지원하는 완전 연관 버퍼 (fully-associative buffer)로 구성되어 진다. 큰 블록은 여러 개의 작은 블록으로 구성되어지며 두 캐쉬에서 접근 실패가 발생할 경우 직접사상 캐쉬의 접근 실패가 발생한 작은 블록과 그 이웃 작은 블록을 완전 연관 버퍼에 저장시킴으로써 한번 참조가 일어난 블록의 이웃 블록이 참조될 확률이 높다는 공간적 지역성의 특성을 효과적으로 반영할 수 있다. 또한 참조가 일어난 블록은 제어 비트를 사용하여 선택적으로 작은 블록을 직접사상 캐쉬에 저장함으로써 시간적 지역성을 보다 효과적으로 사용할 수 있다 시뮬레이션 결과에 따르면 기존의 직접사상 캐쉬의 4배 크기보다도 좋은 성능 향상을 보이고 있으며, 동일한 크기의 victim 캐쉬보다 우수한 성능을 보이고 소비 전력 면에서는 5% 정도의 전력 감소를 보이고 있다.

Geodetic Satellite Positioning Techniques (NNSS, Transit, Doppler, VLBI, SLR etc.) still have much difficulty in surveying and necessity of point positions is being amplified in korea. Therefore some research institutes have being investigated point positioning using the GPS. In this study, 1 arranged the theory deal with point positioning using GPS carrier beat phase of dual frequency and estimated corrections of errors that be included in GPS observable. Also, 1 determined point position by the differencing scheme of GPS carrier phase, and analyzed the accuracy of point position. 1 suggested potentiality of geodetic point positioning using GPS carrier phase by comparing result of relative positioning with result of point positioning and analyzing result of network adjustment fixed any point position.

Ground radiation antenna in mobile devices is becoming an issue for satisfying both miniaturization and high performance. Ground radiation antenna controls the characteristic mode of the ground plane and couples this mode with the ground radiation antenna, thereby having good radiation performance. In this paper, the characteristic mode theory and applications of ground radiation antenna will be introduced. The operating mechanism of single band, wideband and dual-band ground radiation antennas are studied.

In this paper, we establish a number system in $R^n$ which arises from a Haar wavelet basis in connection with decompositions of certain Cuntz algebra representations on $L^2$( $R^n$). Number systems in $R^n$ are also of independent interest [9]. We study radix-representations of $\chi$ $\in$ $R^n$: $\chi$:$\alpha$$_{ι}$ $\alpha$$_{ι-1}$…$\alpha$$_1$$\alpha$$_{0}$ ㆍ$\alpha$$_{-1}$ $\alpha$$_{-2}$ … as $\chi$= $M^{ι}$$\alpha$$_{ι}$ $\alpha$＋…M$\alpha$$_1$＋$\alpha$$_{0}$ ＋ $M^{-1}$ $\alpha$$_{-1}$ ＋ $M^{-2}$ $\alpha$$_{-2}$ ＋… where each $\alpha$$_{k}$ $\in$ D, and D is some specified digit set. Our analysis uses iteration techniques of a number-theoretic flavor. The view-point is a dual one which we term fractals in the large vs. fractals in the small,illustrating the number theory of integral lattice points vs. fractions.s vs. fractions.

1.It was recorded at "Dong Gook Tong Gam" of King "Jang Soo" that "Sim-Eui" in Korea was first introduced from China at the reign of King, "Moon Ja"(491,A.D), Go Goo Ryo. 2."Sim-Eui" was worn as a mourning dress during the period of "Go Ryo" and as a concanical robe of Confucian, a ceremonial dress at home and for the rules of etiquettes during Cho Sun Dunasty. 3.Several theories about the construction and the using services of "Sim-Eui" are obseved and summerized. 4.Mr. Kyu-soo Park gives a definition to "Sim-Eui" as a Fortune of Heaven & Earth, the Constellation of the Cosmic Dual Forces, the Revolution of the Four Seasons, a dignified mien & the Way of a Man of Virtue and Virtue of the golden Mean. 5.I observed the concrete measurements of the each parts of "Sim-Eui" by the construction method of Kyu-Soo Park. 6.The Symbolic Meaning following the Idea of Mr. Chung, Hyun. describes well the line of thinking in our nation, and Idea of Loyalty & Filial Piety, a Man of Virtue and the Virtue of the Golden Mean. 7.As described above, I dare insist of the fact that the Construction Theory of "Sim-Eui" by Kyu-Soo Park during the letter period of Chosun Dynasty is full of our national manners and cus-toms with symbolizing meaning, construction's exquisiteness, clothes' materials and it's size most suitable to our people, to the exclusion of the defects in "Sim-Eui" of China and Japan.

This study examined the time allocation pattern of farm wives. In particular it addressed i)the differences in extent of time spent in farming housework child care and leisure between on-farm and off-farm seasons ii)differences in the extent of time spent in such activities among farm wives and urban wives and iii) the determinants of time spent in such activities. To achieve these goals a system of time allocation equations based on household production theory was employed. On hundred and eight farm wives wiere selected in 1993 by the methods of judgement sampling and cluster sampling. Two major questions in the survey elicited sociodemographic information and time-use of farm wives using the time-diary method, The results indicate that farm wives different decisions about how to allocate their time to farming housework child care leisure during on-farm and off-farm seasons. In addition it was that farm wives are more likely to have dual responsibilities than are urban wives. Finally in the off-farm season education number of younger children and region were significant variables in explaining the time allocation decisions of farm wives. However only age was a significant factor in their time allocation decisions during the on-farm season. This leads one to conclude that time allocation is not a choice for farm wives in the on-farm season.

The purpose of this study is to apply to the phenomenological self-evaluation method in the social welfare agency. It means that the phenomenological self-evaluation method accepts "the reality" which occurs in the social welfare setting, and functions for the social worker to play dual role of practitioner-evaluator. This paper examines two dimensions of social work evaluation theory and practice. Firstly, this study is to investigate a trend of evaluation in social work setting, and seeks theoretical aspect of phenomenological self-evaluation method, with emphasis on the strength and limit of the positivism evaluation methods. Although qualitative evaluation was suggested to make an alternative to the positivism by qualitative researchers, they did not suggest the specific methods and roles of the practitioner-evaluator. In this study, two directions of the phenomenological self-evaluation method are suggested to overcome the limitations. which are "environment-relation self-evaluation" and "program-oriented self-evaluation". Secondly, the result of phenomenological self-evaluation studies for the social welfare community center program and organization in kangnam district from June, 1994 (Program-oriented self-evaluation) to march, 2000 (Environment-relation self-evaluation) are presented. the phenomenological self-evaluation study showed the expected outcome such as; reflective self-training, making a practice knowledge, enhancing service quality, and reinforcing the identity of social welfare profession.

The paper describes a new and rigorous mathematical model for the rotor field oriented system with induction motor which uses the estimated speed and rotor flux based on a Model Reference Adaptive System, as well as the real-time approach. The estimated speed and rotor flux is used for the speed and flux feedback control. The stability and the convergence of the estimator are improved on the basis of hyperstability theory for non-linear systems. The real-time controller and estimator are implemented with a sampling period of $926{\mu}s$ using a dual TMS320C44 floating-point digital signal processor. The validity of the proposed method is verified by simulation, and also, the sensorless control was tested on the propulsion system simulator, used for the development of Korean High-Speed Railway Train (KHSRT) [5].

In this paper, the design theory of the corrugated polarizer using square waveguide is proposed. In order to analysis the characteristic of square waveguide discontinuity as well as achievement of the low VSWR, we apply the modified $TE^\chi_mn$ mode matching method and the corrugated exponential function to the polarizer design. The results show a broadband characteristic that phase shift angle is nearly appeared $90^{\circ}$ in the range of 11.7-15.8GHz. Especially, we could be designed the Ku-band dual polarizer for the satellite broadcasting transponder with 300MHz bandwidth. Its phase shift angle and maximum VSWR, axial ratio are $90^{\circ},\pm1^{\circ}$, 1.03, and 1.0001 in the range of 11.7-12.0GHz and 14.5-14.8GHz, respectively.
