수벌번데기 추출물의 주름개선 및 미백효과 구명 (Pupal Drone Extracts for Anti-wrinkle and Skin-lightening Materials)

  • 본 연구에서는 시험물질인 수벌번데기추출물의 in vitro 주름개선, 미백 및 보습 효능 평가를 검정하였다. 수벌번데기추출물의 미백효과 시험을 위하여 in vitro tyrosinase inhibition 시험을 하였다. 이를 위하여 기질로 L-Tyrosine 및 L-DOPA를 사용하였을 때 모두 농도의존적으로 tyrosinase 억제 효능을 보여서 미배효과를 가지고 있는 것을 확인하였다. 그리고 수벌번데기 추출물의 주름개선 효과 및 보습효과를 구명하기 위하여 HDF, B16F10 cell을 사용하였다. 추출물의 이들 세포에 미치는 세포독성시험을 실시한 후 시험물질의 투여 용량을 설정하였다. 그 결과 두 세포 모두 독성을 나타내지 않는 100 ㎍/ml를 최고 농도로 설정하고, 공비 1/5로 20 및 4 ㎍/ml를 시험농도로 설정하였다. HDF cell을 이용하여 collagen type I 및 MMP1의 발현량을 측정한 결과 UVB 조사로 감소된 collagen type I의 양은 시험물질 처리로 인하여 농도 의존적으로 증가되었다. UVB 조사로 증가된 collagen 분해효소인 MMP1의 발현은 시험물질 처리로 인하여 농도 의존적으로 감소하였다. B16F12 cell을 이용한 melanin 생성 억제 시험 결과, 시험물질 처리군에서 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. 결론적으로 시험물질인 수벌번데기추출물은 collagen 생성을 증가시키고 collagen 분해 효소인 MMP1의 발현을 억제함으로써 주름 개선에 효과가 있으며, melanin 생성을 억제하여 피부미백에도 효과가 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Noise Prediction of Ducted Fan Unmanned Aerial Vehicles considering Strut Effect in Hover

  • In recent years, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have been developed and studied for various applications, including drone deliveries, broadcasting, scouting, crop dusting, and firefighting. To enable the wide use of UAVs, their exact aeroacoustic characteristics must be assessed. In this study, a noise prediction method for a ducted fan UAV with complicated geometry was developed. In general, calculation efficiency is increased by simulating a ducted fan UAV without the struts that fix the fuselage to the ducts. However, numerical predictions of noise and aerodynamics differ according to whether struts are present. In terms of aerodynamic performance, the total thrust with and without struts is similar owing to the tendency of the thrust of a blade to offset the drag of the struts. However, in aeroacoustic simulations, the strut effect should be considered in order to predict the UAV's noise because noise from the blades can be changed by the strut effect. Modelling of the strut effect revealed that the dominant tonal noises were closely correlated with the blade passage frequency of the experimental results. Based on the successful detection of noise sources from a ducted fan UAV system, using the proposed noise contribution contour, methods for noise reduction can be suggested by comparing numerical results with measured noise profiles.

  • In recent years, the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) assisted mobile free space optical (FSO) communication technique has attracted considerable attention regarding its aims to provide improved communication conditions for fixed-to-fixed FSO network and promising fronthaul and backhaul solutions for 5G+ wireless networks. This can be attributed to its outstanding advantages such as fast deployment and flexible network configuration. The UAV-assisted mobile FSO system can be used to provide cost-effective internet services in rural and remote areas and in hotspot areas that are characterized by increased data traffic. Additionally, it can be used to provide secure communication services under emergency circumstances. In this report, we review recent R&D trends in wireless network technology employing the UAV-assisted mobile FSO technique and key technologies for mobile FSO wireless networks. Furthermore, we introduce drone-based mobile FSO terminals and control systems that we have developed.

  • 본 논문은 방목형 축산관리의 효율성을 극대화하기 위해 무인비행체 기반의 자동항법과 근거리무선통신망 기술, 자동이착륙 시스템을 및 개체관리 운영 앱을 통하여 스마트팜 구현에 목적이 있다. 산지생태축산 활성화를 위하여 축산 ICT 융합 기술을 접목한 방목 목장 관리 시스템은 방목 가축의 생산성 향상과 우수품질을 생산하는 인프라 조성과 FTA에 대응하는 축산 경쟁력 확보에 기여할 것으로 예상된다. 축산업에 종사하는 부족한 인력을 대체하는 기술로 농가에 보급을 통해 경쟁력 향상에 기여할 것이다.

  • The drone technology, which is receiving a lot of attention due to the 4th industrial revolution, requires an Unmanned Aerial Vehicles'(UAVs) flight path search algorithm for automatic operation and driver assistance. Various studies related to flight path prediction and recommendation algorithms are being actively conducted, and many studies using the A-Star algorithm are typically performed. In this paper, we propose an Optimal 3D Flight Path Recommendation System for unmanned aerial vehicles. The proposed system was implemented and simulated in Unity 3D, and by indicating the meaning of the route using three different colors, such as planned route, the recommended route, and the current route were compared each other. And obstacle response experiments were conducted to cope with bad weather. It is expected that the proposed system will provide an improved user experience compared to the existing system through accurate and real-time adaptive path prediction in a 3D mixed reality environment.

DTN에서 UAV 편대를 이용한 효율적인 네트워크 구조 (Efficient Network Structure Using UAV Squad In DTN)

  • 본 논문에서는 DTN에서 UAV 편대를 이용한 효율적인 네트워크 구조를 제안한다. 기존 MANET에서 불안정한 종단간 연결성으로 인한 문제를 해결하기 위해 제안된 DTN은 Store-Carry-Forward 방식을 사용하여 통신한다. Store-Carry-Forward 방식의 통신은 종단간의 연결 없이도 중계 노드가 확보되면 번들 계층을 통해 메시지를 저장하여 목적 노드까지 손실 없이 메시지를 전달한다. 이러한 라우팅 구조는 재해재난 상황이나 전쟁 지역과 같이 네트워크 기반시설이 없는 곳에서도 네트워크를 구성하는 데 유리하기 때문에 현재 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 논문은 그런 연구의 일환으로 UAV 편대를 이용하여 유동적인 환경에서 더 효율적인 네트워크 구조를 제안한다. 제안하는 방안은 센서로써 작동하는 이질적인 노드들의 환경 정보 이용해 UAV 분대를 조직하여 안정적인 통신이 가능하도록 한다.

산림병해충 검출을 위한 산림무인항공기 운영 모델 (Operation Model for Forest-UAV for Detection of Forest Disease)

  • 우리나라는 전국토의 63% 가 산림으로 이루어져 있으며, 지구의 평균 기온은 증가하고 있다. 소나무재선충병과 같은 산림재해충의 확산 방지를 위한 효과적 운영 방법으로는 선제적인 방제가 요구된다. 선제적인 방제 체계는 기상, 지형적 및 인력운영의 어려움 등으로 적시 방제에 쉽지 않다. 본 논문에서는 정보통신기술 기반으로 소형 무인항공기를 이용하여 획득한 영상을 기반으로 피해목과 고사목을 자동으로 분류하는 체계를 갖춰 신속·정확하고 효율적인 방제체계를 갖추는 모델을 제시한다. 특히 제안된 모델은 민간분야 협력을 통해 정부업무에 대한 효과적인 대응체계를 구축함으로써 무인항공기 사업 및 서비스 산업 등의 새로운 일자리 창출을 기대할 수 있다.

스마트 건설에서 디지털 측량정보의 활용 (Using Survey information of BIM-applied Project - Construction Industry Specialist Interview -)

  • Recently, in the smart construction field, it is possible to construct spatial information of 3D data base quickly and accurately using drones, LiDARs and ARs,. Most public ordering institutions are pushing for the efficiency of construction work through establishing and announcing road maps and guidelines for utilizing BIM for the entire life cycle of construction. However, in most policies, the impact of 3D data on the entire life cycle is limited by only partially constructing and utilizing 3D data or by being mentioned. In addition, many public institutions, construction companies and planning companies did not actively utilize survey information during the actual construction phase, despite the possibility of using 3D survey information. In order to confirm the utilization of survey information, a total of eight private construction companies were selected and interviewed by experts. The analysis shows that most of companies lack the performance of drone measurements or have a lack of awareness of advantages, and among them, construction companies are relatively active. Based on these opinions, this study examined the usability of surveying information and examined measures to expand the utilization of survey information in legal and institutional aspects, technology development aspects and industrial development.

하이브리드 유전 알고리즘을 이용한 시간제약이 있는 군수 드론 및 수송 UGV 혼합배송 문제 연구 (Study on Delivery of Military Drones and Transport UGVs with Time Constraints Using Hybrid Genetic Algorithms)

  • This paper studies the method of delivering munitions using both drones and UGVs that are developing along with the 4th Industrial Revolution. While drones are more mobile than UGVs, their loading capacity is small, and UGVs have relatively less mobility than drones, but their loading capacity is better. Therefore, by simultaneously operating these two delivery means, each other's shortcomings may be compensated. In addition, on actual battlefields, time constraints are an important factor in delivering munitions. Therefore, assuming an actual battlefield environment with a time limit, we establish delivery routes that minimize delivery time by operating both drones and UGVs with different capacities and speeds. If the delivery is not completed within the time limit, penalties are imposed. We devised the hybrid genetic algorithm to find solutions to the proposed model, and as results of the experiment, we showed the algorithm we presented solved the actual size problems in a short time.

Industry 4.0 & Construction H&S: Comparative Perceptions

  • Historical construction health and safety (H&S) challenges, in terms of a range of resources and issues, continue to be experienced, namely design process-related hazards are encountered on site, workers are unaware of the hazards and risks related to the construction process and its activities, activities are commenced on site without adequate hazard identification and risk assessments (HIRAs), difficulty is experienced in terms of real time monitoring of construction-related activities, workers handle heavy materials, plant, and equipment, and ultimately the experience of injuries. Given the abovementioned, and the advent of Industry 4.0, a quantitative study, which entailed the completion of a self-administered questionnaire online, was conducted among registered professional (Pr) and candidate Construction H&S Agents, to determine the potential of Industry 4.0 to contribute to resolving the challenges cited. The findings indicate that Industry 4.0 technologies such as augmented reality (AR), drone technology, virtual reality (VR), VR based H&S training, and wearable technology /sensors have the potential to resolve the cited H&S challenges as experienced in construction. Conclusions include that Industry 4.0 technologies can finally address the persistent H&S challenges experienced in construction. Recommendations include: employer associations, professional associations, and statutory councils should raise the level of awareness relative to the potential implementation of Industry 4.0 relative to H&S in construction; case studies should be documented and shared; tertiary construction management education programmes should integrate Industry 4.0 into all possible modules, especially H&S-related modules, and continuing professional development (CPD) H&S should address Industry 4.0.
