수학교육에서 시각화와 직관 (Visualization and Intuition in Mathematics Education)

  • Visualization have strong driving force that enables us to recognize abstract mathematics by direct and specific method in school mathematics. Specially, visual thinking helps in effective problem solution via intuition in mathematics education. So, this paper examines the meaning of visualization, the role of visualization in intuitive problem solving process and the methods for enhancement of intuition using visualization in mathematics education. Visualization is an useful tool for illuminating of intuition in mathematics problem solving. It means that visualization makes us understand easily mathematical concepts, principles and rules in students' cognitive structure. And it makes us experience revelation of anticipatory intuition which finds clues and strategy in problem solving. But, we must know that visualization can have side effect in mathematics learning. So, we have to search for the methods of teaching and learning which can increase students' comprehension about mathematics through visualization and minimize side aspect through visualization.

영상 언어로써 이북(e-book)의 몽타주 패턴 (Analysis of Montage Pattern of e-book as a Film Language)

  • This study analyzed the montage pattern of e-book in a bid to include e-book in the film language system. To this end, this study targeted three pieces of e-books which reproduced the animation for theater use of Disney Company. This study did research on characteristics of montage in films, and kinds of film vectors, and defined it as 'Montage of Experience' according to media characteristics of e-book. This study deducted the montage pattern of 3 sorts of classification, and 10 sorts of detailed classification by doing research on the analysis object. This study has a significance in that it pioneers a new perspective in e-book research which has been biased towards a functional perspective. Analysis of the point of contact where the existing visual media, and new media meet with each other could be a driving force promoting the growth of the relevant industry, and this study thinks that the analysis of the point of contact is the research which is helpful to working out qualitative improvement of e-book contents.

  • By no means rapid advances in technology affects the working and improvement of all systems built to increase the quality/standards of human living. Information technologies as the main driving force of technological progress today happen to be a sine qua non for all organizations hoping to keep pace with or surpass rivals. However, despite their vital advantages it is true that these create undesirable side effects that harm social systems and the rights of persons. Similar to all others in the world Turkey is trying to cope with the problem through creating an appropriate legal and administrative substructure trusted to discontinue or at least minimize such criminal acts.

시각정보의 단순반응시간을 고려한 페달 시스템의 관한 연구 (A Study on the System of Vehicle Pedal Based on Simple Reaction Time of Visual Information)

  • This study deals with the designing of vehicle pedal considering simple reaction time of visual information. Because vehicle accidents may bring about fatal results, the vehicle design which is considered with safity is very important. Though the vehicle design considered with safity is important in the whole parts of vehicle, the designing of pedal which is directly connected the designing of pedal which can minimize reaction time to risk through simple experiments. In the experiments, the experience of driving, the location of brake pedal and the space between brake and accelerator pedal are considered. Using experiment equipment and IBM-PC, simple reaction time was measured. The data which was result from measurement was analyzed with SPSS/PC+. When brake pedal located right side and the space between brake and accelerator pedal was 35cm, reaction was minimized. Based on this results, the vehicle pedal should be designed.

온라인-오프라인의 연결 그리고 인공지능 : 자동차 모바일 네비게이션 앱 활용 맥락 (Online-Offline Connectivity and Artificial Intelligence : Car Navigation App)

  • Cars have become a necessity in modern life. It is widely used to transport people or products to a destination conveniently. However, the addition of a navigation service that provides route information and more makes driving more convenient and safer. Recent developments in the mobile app ecosystem encourages people to adopt not only an installation-type car navigation, but also a mobile app navigation, supporting connected car concepts. It should be noted that mobile apps with mobile Internet can be a significant linkage between information acquired online and offline business. This study demonstrates the impact of the app use experience for a driver in the context of applying artificial intelligence service. As a result, the introduction of artificial intelligence services has a statistically significant moderating effect on the use of mobile navigation apps. This seminal research is valuable as it evaluates the role of artificial intelligence applied to mobile navigation apps.

DEVELOPMENT OF FEASIBILITY ANALYSIS MODEL FOR DEVELOPER-REQUESTED HOUSING PROJECTS

  • While many studies on feasibility analysis for housing projects have been released, the main focus was on economic feasibility and factors related to developers were not clearly identified enough to be used in practice. In order to establish a feasibility analysis model for apartment development projects requested by developers in Korea, 31 driving factors behind projects' success were identified under seven different categories. Criterions of the each factor were also developed, and weight of each factor was assigned by applying the Analytical Hierarchy Process(AHP). Finally, based on the Monte Carlo simulation, the feasibility analysis model was established, providing probability distribution of project's grade. The model was applied to 12 housing projects to verify its reliability, and found that the model properly filtered projects that are unlikely to be profitable, indicating reasonable reliability of the model. The model can be a useful tool for contractors, especially with less experience in analyzing project development feasibility.

운수업근로자의 연령에 따른 직무특성 및 건강이 사고경험에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Job Characteristics and Health on Accident Experience according to Age of Transportation Workers)

  • 본 연구에서는 연령에 따른 운수업근로자의 직무특성과 건강이 사고경험에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 확인하고, 이를 통해 사고예방과 고령운수업근로자에 대한 다양한 관점을 제시하고자 하였다. 산업안전보건연구원에서 실시한 '제 4차 근로환경조사'의 자료를 활용하였으며, 최종적으로 1,997명의 운수업근로자 자료를 상관분석과 교차분석, 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 운수업근로자의 연령과 사고경험에는 상관관계가 나타나지 않았다. 운수업근로자의 특성과 사고경험과의 관계에서 고령근로자의 경우, '직무수행 중 실수 시 타인이 다침', '근골격계 문제', '심혈관계 문제', '손이나 팔의 반복동작' 순으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 이 변수들에 대한 모델 설명력은 56.9%였다(p<.01). 비고령근로자의 경우에는, '우울 및 불안장애', '직무와 안전과의 관계', '직무수행 중 실수 시 타인이 다침', '노동조합 여부' 순으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 모델 설명력은 21.8%였다(p<.01). 따라서 추후 운수업근로자들의 사고예방을 위해서는 연령 이외에도 건강과 직무특성 등 다양한 변수를 고려한 접근이 필요할 것이다.

해석수준과 메시지 프레이밍에 따른 자율주행택시의 사용의도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Construal Level and Intention of Autonomous Driving Taxi According to Message Framing)

  • 본 연구는 최근 4차산업 혁명의 산물로 대두되고 있는 자율주행차가 대중교통 수단인 택시로 이용될 때 해석수준과 메시지 프레이밍에 따른 사용 의도의 차이를 분석하는 것이다. 해석수준이란 가까운 미래에 발생한 일과 먼 미래에 발생할 일을 가정하여 어떤 제품이나 서비스를 해석하는 것이 다르다는 것을 말한다. 메시지 프레이밍이란 긍정 혹은 부정의 표현 또는 혜택, 손실의 양극단의 메시지를 구성한 것을 말한다. 즉, 기존연구에서는 이 두 개념에 따라 제품이나 서비스의 가치를 다르게 해석한다고 한다. 본 연구는 자율주행차가 택시로 출시될 때 두 개념을 적용할 경우 사용 의도의 차이를 보이는지 살펴보고자 한다. 결과를 요약하면 우선, 메시지 프레이밍 구성에서 자율주행 택시를 이용할 경우 혜택(Gain)과 왜(Why) 사용해야 하는지를 설명한 메시지 형식과 자율주행 택시를 이용하지 않았을 경우 손실(Loss)와 어떻게(How)를 강조한 메시지를 구성하여 비교해 보았다. 두 메시지 프레이밍은 차이를 보였으며(t= 3.063) 혜택(Gain)과 왜(Why)를 설명한 메시지 형태가 더 높은 사용 의도를 보였다. 또한, 해석수준에 따른 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 혜택(Gain) 및 손실(Loss)에 대한 먼 미래와 가까운 미래에 발생할 것을 가정한 경우 사용 의도에 차이가 있었으며, 구체적으로 혜택(Gain)을 설명한 메시지와 먼 미래에 발생할 것을 가정한 경우가 사용 의도가 높았다. 요약하면 자율주행 택시의 사용 의도를 높이기 위해서는 긍정의 메시지(Gain)와 먼 미래에 일어날 수 있는 것을 가정하여 사람들에게 메시지를 전달해야 한다는 결론이다. 또한, 본 연구를 통하여 향후 신기술의 출현에 대한 사용 의도 연구 시 연구방법을 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

생체 신호를 이용한 기관사 감시시스템 연구 (A Study of the Dead Man's Switch considering bio-response)

  • A Consider the dead man's switch installed in each and every locomotive cab, which support operational safety on railways around the world. The concept is very simple - every 150 to 180 seconds an illuminated push-button demands to be acknowledged so as to know that the Train Driver is alive and active. In the absence of a response over a period of minutes, the vigilance control will automatically apply the train brakes and bring the train to a stand. If we multiply the resetting of the vigilance control 60 times per hour by a 10-hour shift it equals 600 presses of the button during the shift that a Train Driver must pay attention to and acknowledge. This adds a fair bit of pressure on the train driver's job, particularly when he/she is driving through stations, with passengers moving about on platforms in an environment of complex signaling arrangements - all the while looking out for restricting signals. From this perspective, the Vigilance System's demand to be acknowledged every 150/180 seconds is disturbing and can unnecessarily take a driver's attention away from what is happening outside the confines of the cab. A much more dramatic situation can happen when a train driver is driving hour after hour at night when, by Mother's Nature request - people need to sleep. Experience and research shows that the the dead man's switch can be pressed by train driver in a state of deep relaxation and 'micro-sleep'. The vigilance control system which is applied to reduce the drive load considering bio-response multiple unit train is proposed.

Study on Following of Parmeter ${\alpha}$ of 2-DOF PID Controller Using Fuzzy Algorithm

  • 2-mass system is generally used as controller of the variable-speed to transfer electromotion power to mechanical load such as industrial robot, driving parts of electric vehicle, rolling machine system of steel plant and driving parts of elevator. In this case, PI controller is often used as a velocity controller because of simplicity of system. But PI control algorithm is not enough for obtaining the control characteristics required for this system. To solve this problem, 2-mass system based on the PID controller derives the optimum PID parameters by pole assignment and estimation of the ITAE performance index. In this case, the system have tenacious properties about disturbance, but it causes extreme overshoot and vibration because of rapidly output of controller in early transient response about desired value. And if speed control system is applied by 2-DOF parameter ${\alpha}$, a temporary value, we must induce most suitable parameter by complicate pole assignment and estimation of the ITAE performance index whenever ${\alpha}$ changes. In this paper, to solve this problem we suggest control algorithm to followed exactly value of ${\alpha}$ as 2-DOF parameter by using fuzzy algorithm . So, intelligence algorithm modeled by human knowledge, experience, teachability and judgment follow exact ${\alpha}$ value and it can compose the efficient 2-DOF PID controller to improve following performance, overshoot decrease.
