  • This paper has a control method proposed for the effective self-tuning fuzzy speed control based on neural network of the induction motor indirect vector control. The vector control of an induction motor provides the decoupled control of the rotor flux magnitude and the torque producing current to performance is desirable. But, the drive performance often degrades for the machine parameter variations and its condition give rise to coupling of flux and torque current. The fuzzy speed control of an induction motor has the robustness about machine parameter variations compared with conventional PID speed control in a way. That proved to be some waf from the true. The purpose of this paper is to improve the adaptation by offering self-turning function to fuzzy speed controller. In this paper, the adaptive mechanism of fuzzy speed control in used ANN(Artificial Neural Network) technique is applied in an IFO induction machine drive, such that the machine can follow a reference model (an ideal field oriented machine) to achieve desired speed. In this paper proved the self-turning method of fuzzy controller has the robustness about parameter variation and the wide range of adaptation by simulation.

  • This Paper described the hish performance position control for elevator using induction motor and driver. In this paper, the suitable Motor specifications for elevator drive are briefly discussed and high accuracy position control for both kinds of control method is analysed considering the parameter variation in the primary and secondary resistances. Since the pre-identified values of the motor constants are used to determine the control inputs, the performance degradation is caused by the parameter variation such as in the motor resistance. Particularly, the value of secondary resistance is considered significant because the control gain to determine the slip frequency is heavily dependent on that. The new proposed method uses on special small input signal for the parameter indentification and is expected to have the high accuracy position.

비대칭 Doherty 구조를 이용한 전력 증폭기의 선형성 개선과 효율 보상에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improvement of Linearity and Efficiency Compensation in a Power Amplifier Using Asymmetical Doherty Structure)

  • 본 논문은 높은 선형성을 얻기 위하여 기존의 Doherty 구조에서 주 증폭기와 피킹 증폭기를 비대칭적으로 구성하고, 증폭기의 바이어스 점을 변화시켜 선형성을 개선하는 방법을 제안하였다. 주 증폭기와 피킹 증폭기의 구동 전력을 비대칭으로 주입하기 위하여 비균등 wilkinson 분배기를 추가하였다. 또한 전체적으로는 3-stage 구조를 이룸으로써 선형성에 따른 효율 감소를 보상하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과를 바탕으로 비대칭 Doherty 전력 증폭기와 비대칭 3-stage Doherty 전력 증폭기를 제작하였으며, 측정 결과 약 -55 dBc의 IMD 특성을 보였으며, 13%의 효율 특성을 얻을 수 있었다.

AFLC에 의한 유도전동기 드라이브의 ANN 센서리스 제어 (ANN Sensorless Control of Induction Motor Dirve with AFLC)

  • 본 논문에서는 유도전동기의 벡터제어를 위한 ANN 센서리스 제어와 속도제어를 위한 AFLC를 제안하였다. AFLC 설계는 적응 메카니즘을 통해 퍼지 룰 베이스의 수정자를 갱신하여 실행할 수 있고 유도 전동기의 속도 추정을 위한 ANN 센서리스 제어는 BPA를 통해 수행하였다. 유도전동기의 지령속도와 실제속도는 BPA를 통해 그 오차를 줄일 수 있고, 이러한 알고리즘은 다른 전동기 드라이브에 적용이 용이하다. 본 논문에서 제시한 AFLC 및 ANN 제어의 응답특성을 분석하고 그 결과를 제시한다.

한국표준형 원전 제어봉구동장치 전원공급계통의 전동발전기 세트 안정성 개선 (Improving Stability of Motor Generator Set of the Power Supply System for CEDM in Korean Standard Nuclear Power Plants)

  • This paper analyzed a root cause of abnormality in the temperature and vibration at generator-side bearing of motor generator set (MG Set), which is a power supply system to control element drive mechanism (CEDM) of nuclear power plants (NPPs), and modified the design of roller-type and sealing method to improve the abnormalities. From the inspection of MG Set and analysis of temperature variation during service, it was found that the abnormal temperature transition was basically associated with original design of generator-side bearing, whose roller was axially restrained by inner race, and that the abnormal vibration level was caused by inserting small chips of cage and V-ring, which were generated due to the abnormal temperature transition at roller bearing. Type of bearing and sealing method were modified based on these analyses. The temperature and vibration level measured at roller bearing showed that the modifications clearly improved the operational stability of MG Set.

  • In general, speed control method of the elevator system has used motor pole change type or motor primary voltage control type. But it will change to vector control type in order to increase it's reliability, riding comfort and decrease material cost. It is the conception of vector control type in order to increase it's reliability, riding comfort and decrease material cost. It is the conception of vector control that primary current of the induction motor be controlled independently with magnetizing current(field current of DC motor) and torque current(armature current of DC motor). In this paper, by analyzing the effect of the time constant variation of rotor of the induction motor on the slip frequency type indirect vector control, a drive system for the motor will be constructed using a fuzzy slip frequency type indirect vector controller with fuzzy control method for estimating the vector time constant in the slip frequency type indirect vector control. The goal of this study is to enabling even more efficient speed control by constructing on elevator driver based on the newly developed drive system.

SRM 센서리스 구동시스템을 위한 적응 슬라이딩 모드 관측기 연구 (A Study of Adaptive Sliding Mode Observer for a Sensorless Drive System of SRM)

  • SRM(Switched Reluctance Motor) drives require the accurate position information of the rotor. These informations are generally provided by a tacho generator or digital shaft-position encoder These speed sensors lower the system reliability and require special attention to noise. This paper describes a new approach to estimating SRM speed from measured terminal voltages and currents for speed sensorless control. The described method is based on the sliding mode observer. The rotor speed and position observers are estimated by the adaptation law using the real and estimated currents. However, the conventional adaptive sliding mode observer based on the variable structure control theory has some disadvantages that the estimated values including the high-frequency chattering and the steady state error generated due to the infinite feedback gain chosen and the discontinuous control input. To reduce the chattering and steady state error, an integrator is also inserted in the sliding mode observer strategy. The described adaptive sliding mode observer decreases the vibration to the switching hyper-plane of the sliding mode by adding integrator. The described methodology incorporates the Lyapunov algorithm to drive the rotor speed and the stator resistance such that it can overcome the problem of sensitivity in the face of SRM parameter variation. Also, without any mechanical information. The rotor speed of SRM is obtained form adaptive scheme. The described method is verified through the simulation and experiment.

  • In this paper, a fuzzy advance angle control method is described to drive an industrial low voltage SRM (Switched Reluctance Motor) for 10kW forklift truck. SRM has a highly non-linear characteristic that is due to change the rotor and stator. And low voltage SRM is designed that its phase resistance and phase inductance is very low to inject high current into the phase windings. In this reason, the proper current control is necessary to drive the low voltage SRM efficiently. SRM has positive torque at increasing inductance region and negative torque at decreasing inductance region. Due to this reason, the current has to be built up in the increasing phase inductance part as soon as possible. Therefore, the phase switch must be turned on before the phase inductance increases, and this angle is called as the advance angle. Also, the phase current has to be dropped before the phase inductance decreases. Fuzzy logic is a flexible and general-purposed method of implementing non-linear functions and as such it is useful in control applications. Consequently, we designed a fuzzy advance angle controller to control the phase current appropriately.

  • A skid-steering method which applied to the various mobile robot platforms currently shows its effectiveness in the specified field areas and purposes. This system contains however, several problems of its intrinsic properties such as slippages occurred by different moving direction between vehicle's driving and wheel's rotary and difficulties of driving performance control and so on. This paper deals with the suggestion of suitable control algorithm for 6WD/6WS skid steering wheeled vehicle and verified its feasibility by analyzing the behavior of 6WD/6WS skid-steered wheeled vehicle model and by applying the engineering analytical method to the considered mobile platform. The Performance of vehicle model is evaluated by using slip mode control to follow the steering input and, as a future work, this control algorithm could be applied to real 6WD/6WS in-wheel drive type vehicle finally.

  • 본 논문에서는 구동단의 IMD 특성과 최종단의 IMD 특성을 조절하여 선형성을 개선하는 방법에 대하여 제안을 하였다. WCDMA 4FA의 입력 신호를 사용하였을 때 평균 전력 50W에서 약 -48dBc@5MHz offset의 ACLR 특성을 얻었다. 제안된 역위상화 선형화 기법은 추가적인 선형회로 없이 구동 증폭단을 이용하여 전치왜곡 효과를 얻을 수 있었다. 이러한 점은 기존 analog predistortion 방식과 feedforward 방식의 단점을 보완하였음에 큰 의미를 가진다.
