Recently, the attractive changes of mobile device are a improvement of the computing performance, dramatic improvement of storage capacity, constant connection to the internet, and sophisticated development of display technology. As a result, database applications utilizing mobile devices are emerging. These applications include databases for mobile servers, databases for edge computing, and fog computing. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to the current mobile database and pay attention to whether it has suitable performance for the applications. In this paper, the most common mobile database, SQLite3 is selected and experimented to test and understand the update performance and characteristics. The results of experiment are compared with the one of Oracle database at the same condition to evaluate the experiment. As a result, Insert Performance of SQLite3 has a lot of points to be improved and Update performance is very good. Especially, the performance of Range Query is excellent.

The essay examines two different editions of Anne Askew's Examinations published in the sixteenth century: John Bale's the First Examination and the Latter Examination and John Foxe's Acts and Monuments, and argues that retelling and rewriting one's experience is the process of storytelling that necessitates the repetition and communication of the experience. The essay looks at the parts the sixteenth-century editors particularly rewrote or retold the original version, and discusses how Askew's story was retold, repeated, and communicated through various storytellers who delivered not only the original text but also the original experience toward larger audience. While attempting to interpret, analyze, and expand on the story she did not tell, or the story she could not tell, Bale and Foxe developed her personal and anecdotal story into a communal narrative to share. Bale wrote a weak woman's martyrology by adding his interpretation and analysis, showing the way for the readers to follow in understanding her enigmatic silence and gestures. On the other hand, Foxe made the story a more dramatic and more seamlessly flowing narrative of the heroic sacrifice of a martyr. Foxe filled the room left by Askew's silence with directly quoted conversations and the graphic that could help explain what was between the lines. Apart from the rewritings of the reformists, the essay focuses on the fact that the editing, rearranging, and reinterpreting process already started with Askew's own writing. Although Askew declares herself an objective recorder of the series of events, her writing is carefully constructed with complex ideological fractures and rhetorical tactics, and her experience is tailored to fit a particular purpose. Along with Bale's and Foxe's rewritings, Askew's story of a reading woman should be also read as an intentional and interpretative storytelling on her own experience.

The ecology of Korean Production Industry has been changing rapidly. Small & medium size independent production companys have been shrinking in market share while big size production companys are taking larger share than before. This study intends to show the dramatic change of the ownership in Korean production industry and the consequencies. When considering positive development of production industry, small & medium size independent production companys should play important roles but the environment of the industry is not easy for them. The implication of this study is that small & medium size independent production companys have to search for survival strategies to adapt environmental change.

Due to the dramatic advancement of IoT (Internet of Things), it is expected that tens of billions of IoT devices will be connected by the year 2024. Furthermore, as IoT technologies evolves, the security management in IoT platforms has become a critical issue. For example, there are interworking problems between heterogeneous IoT platforms caused by differences from communication protocols, security policies, etc. in each platform. In addition, unsecured interworking can cause major security issues including the information leakage. In this paper, in order to solve these problems, a security interworking architecture is proposed and implemented in both FIWARE and oneM2M, which are representative IoT platforms. First, the security architecture of FIWARE is analyzed and implemented, and then the security framework based on OAuth 2.0 is developed on Mobius platform. Finally, in order to validate the proposed security interworking architecture, a LED (Light-Emitting Diode) example, where the LED is controlled by only authorized users, is developed. The proposed architecture can be extended to the diverse IoT platforms and devices.

Korean society suffers from severe divisions represented by bi-polarization and collapse of the middle class. Intensive demanding on expanding social welfare budget has emerged in accordance with such a dramatic shift. Social consensus moving toward well-financed welfare policy, however, happens to meet political opposition supported by the discourse of fiscal soundness. This paper thus pays particular attention to deciphering the discursive structure in way of understanding how discourses bring public policy into play. For this purpose, news articles about fiscal soundness collected from 8 national newspapers have been analyzed in terms of frame, attitude, perspective and world view. Research results show, first of all, that there exist persistent competition between two frames identified as 'reduced tax with fiscal discipline' and 'increased tax with welfare money.' While the 'reduced tax' frame favors in maintaining tax cut at the expense of welfare budjet, the frame of 'increased tax' supports such arguments as the flexible employment of fiscal soundness and prosperity of national community helped by widening tax revenues. Also did these frames include a number of sub-frames like welfare populism, partisan politics, trickle down effect, tax bonanza for the rich, universal welfare and market over-reactions in order to bolster its logical authority. Media's active taking a part in penetrating supportive frames in line with political stance was found as well. Taking into account both the discursive structure upheld by frames and politics materialized by the media, the authors argue that public policies should be considered more as discourse than fixed reality. Shedding additional light on understanding the interplay among public opinion, policies and media discourse is of another importance for further study.

Public service advertising is a form of communication activity performed to increase public interest. In order to improve the effectiveness of public service advertising, it is necessary to formulate advertising strategies that can actually induce positive action changes. China has various social problems because of dramatic social changes, which call for implementing public service advertising. This study aims to improve the persuasive effects of Chinese public service advertising by addressing effective communication strategies. In particular, we selected 33 works that use fear appeals from 2016 HuangHe Award-winning posters and analyzed their visual representation of fear appeals. The results suggest that fear appeals are frequently used in safe driving and anti-smoking campaigns. In addition, main colors of these posters were black and white. The main fearful images were often represented in a form of 'fact' and 'factual conception' and in the type of 'picture.' They also have features of implicit association' and 'exaggeration'. This study has a significance in terms of providing theoretical and empirical information to future research on improvement of public service advertising in China.

The demand for flexible electronic systems such as wearable computers, E-paper, and flexible displays has increased due to their advantages of excellent portability, conformal contact with curved surfaces, light weight, and human friendly interfaces over present rigid electronic systems. This seminar introduces three recent progresses that can extend the application of high performance flexible inorganic electronics. The first part of this seminar will introduce a RRAM with a one transistor-one memristor (1T-1M) arrays on flexible substrates. Flexible memory is an essential part of electronics for data processing, storage, and radio frequency (RF) communication and thus a key element to realize such flexible electronic systems. Although several emerging memory technologies, including resistive switching memory, have been proposed, the cell-to-cell interference issue has to be overcome for flexible and high performance nonvolatile memory applications. The cell-to-cell interference between neighbouring memory cells occurs due to leakage current paths through adjacent low resistance state cells and induces not only unnecessary power consumption but also a misreading problem, a fatal obstacle in memory operation. To fabricate a fully functional flexible memory and prevent these unwanted effects, we integrated high performance flexible single crystal silicon transistors with an amorphous titanium oxide (a-TiO2) based memristor to control the logic state of memory. The $8{\times}8$ NOR type 1T-1M RRAM demonstrated the first random access memory operation on flexible substrates by controlling each memory unit cell independently. The second part of the seminar will discuss the flexible GaN LED on LCP substrates for implantable biosensor. Inorganic III-V light emitting diodes (LEDs) have superior characteristics, such as long-term stability, high efficiency, and strong brightness compared to conventional incandescent lamps and OLED. However, due to the brittle property of bulk inorganic semiconductor materials, III-V LED limits its applications in the field of high performance flexible electronics. This seminar introduces the first flexible and implantable GaN LED on plastic substrates that is transferred from bulk GaN on Si substrates. The superb properties of the flexible GaN thin film in terms of its wide band gap and high efficiency enable the dramatic extension of not only consumer electronic applications but also the biosensing scale. The flexible white LEDs are demonstrated for the feasibility of using a white light source for future flexible BLU devices. Finally a water-resist and a biocompatible PTFE-coated flexible LED biosensor can detect PSA at a detection limit of 1 ng/mL. These results show that the nitride-based flexible LED can be used as the future flexible display technology and a type of implantable LED biosensor for a therapy tool. The final part of this seminar will introduce a highly efficient and printable BaTiO3 thin film nanogenerator on plastic substrates. Energy harvesting technologies converting external biomechanical energy sources (such as heart beat, blood flow, muscle stretching and animal movements) into electrical energy is recently a highly demanding issue in the materials science community. Herein, we describe procedure suitable for generating and printing a lead-free microstructured BaTiO3 thin film nanogenerator on plastic substrates to overcome limitations appeared in conventional flexible ferroelectric devices. Flexible BaTiO3 thin film nanogenerator was fabricated and the piezoelectric properties and mechanically stability of ferroelectric devices were characterized. From the results, we demonstrate the highly efficient and stable performance of BaTiO3 thin film nanogenerator.

With entering the 21st century, modern people's dark inside and panic are emerging as the talking point on the theater stage. Even in the field of stage costume, the necessity of a research is being demanded through analyzing on psychological anguish and structure of characters. Accordingly, this study aims to allow the stage costume design to be expressed a human being's Doppelg$\ddot{a}$nger Image, which was elicited through analyzing a work of the play titled Le Grand C$\acute{e}$r$\acute{e}$monial by a playwriter Fernando Arrabal, who draws the conflictory and contradictory duplicity, which positions in a human being's deep inside by having chaos as catalyst. A research subject is 'Le Grand C$\acute{e}$r$\acute{e}$monial,' which was staged as the winter performance in commemoration of the 50th anniversary for the foundation of Dept. of Theater, Chung-Ang Univ. in November 2009. Psychology of characters in a play, which varies dimensionally, could be delivered, as nonverbal element called costume, by applying costume design of Cavanoza, Syl, Nice to Doppelg$\ddot{a}$nger Image such as Innocence vs Cruelty, Purity vs Superficiality and Restraint vs Freedom, which were elicited through analyzing characters. Through this study, the costume, which was expressed by visualizing a human being's Doppelg$\ddot{a}$nger Image, could be known to function as important dramatic factor of allowing character's psychology to be understood through costume as well as functioning as visual and sensible language, which is important for communication with the audience. A research on costume design, which reflects a character's complex inside, is expected to be likely continued through in-depth analysis on a playwriter's intention and on the appearing characters at the current point of time when an active research is being performed on stage costume in the wake of this study.

After the fact that obsessive-compulsive symptoms or tic symptoms are common in Sydenham's chorea which is a sequale of rheumatic fever produced by group A beta-hemolytic streptococcus was reported, the association between group A beta-hemolytic streptococcus and a subgroup of obsessivecompulsive disorder(OCD) or tic disorder has been attentioned. This subgroup shared a unique clinical course, characterized by an abrupt onset of symptoms and/or dramatic exacerbations. And this subgroup was distinguished by pre-pubertal onset of symptoms, neurological abnormalities(choreiform movements and a unique pattern of motoric hyperactivity), as well as by relapsing and remitting symptom course. Acronym PANDAS(pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorders associated with streptococcal infection) was used to denote a subgroup of OCD or tic disorder patients with these clinical characteristics. Then, there was a report suggesting that PANDAS category include some of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder(ADHD) and were two case reports of anorexia nervosa and body dysmorphic disorder with characteristics of PANDAS. This case is a patient who developed normally until age of 7, but after pharyngeal inflammation with high fever, he showed disturbance of cognition, social relationship, and language and communication, as well as tic symtoms and abnormal movement on face, hand, and foot. We report this case with review of literatures, because we think that this case belongs to the PANDAS category. Based on this observation, we suggest that PANDAS category include some of childhood disintegrative disorder as well as OCD, tic disorder, and ADHD.

A high speed ultra-compact lens with a diffractive optical element (DOE) is designed, which can be applied to mobile communication devices such as IMT2000, PDA, notebook computer, etc. The designed hybrid lens has sufficiently high performance of less than f/2.2, compact size of 3.3 mm (1st surf. to image), and wide field angle of more than 30 deg. compared with the specifications of a single lens. By proper choice of the aspheric and DOE surface which has very large negative dispersion, we can correct chromatic and high order aberrations through the optimization technique. From Seidel third order aberration theory and Sweatt modeling, the initial data and surface configurations, that is, the combination condition of the DOE and the aspherical surface are obtained. However, due to the consideration of diffraction efficiency of a DOE, we can choose only four cases as the optimization input, and present the best solution after evaluating and comparing those four cases. On the other hand, we also report dramatic improvement in optical performance by inserting another refractive lens (so-called, field flattener), that keeps the refractive power of an original DOE lens and makes the petzval sum zero in the original DOE lens system. ystem.
