노인가구 특성에 따른 주거개조요구에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Elderly Households' Needs for Housing Modification)

  • This study aims to figure out the old people's needs for modification of their housing to maintain an independent lifestyle despite their health status and living arrangements. The total of 438 residents take part in the questionnaire survey research through the quota sampling method grouped by age (60-64 group, 65-69 group, 70-74 group, and over 75 group), sex (male and female), and house type (apartment houses and others). The results are as follows. (1) The old people's most inspired modification needs in interior spaces are remodeling the heating controls in the living room and the bedroom, ventilation facilities and storage spaces in the kitchen, non-slip tile flooring and ventilation facilities in bathroom, an easy door-lock, non-slip tile flooring, a draft cut-off, and storage spaces in the entrance. Besides they require emergency alarm, easy door and window locks, fire and gas alarm, and furniture with easy handling. It is necessary to supply the aged with the appropriate heating controls for their sensitivity to heat, with enough storage spaces for the increased possessions, and with diverse safety systems reflected blunting of mobility and sensibility. (2) As they grow older, the aged require more remote controls and safety facilities such as emergency alarm, easy locks and furniture with distinguishable colors. Male elderly is more concerned with safety, while female elderly do with convenience due to their different time spending in the house. The elderly residents in the apartment houses require the heating controls, a draft cut-off, and storage space less than other types of houses. Thus modification of the heating controls, a draft cut-off, and storage space are regards as basic needs for the elderly residents in non-apartment houses.

일상생활용 장치 작동에 따른 지각자의 인지구조에 대한 집단고정관념 (Population Stereotypes as a Perceiver's Cognitive Structure on Manipulating Devices for Daily Use)

  • Purpose: This study standardizes the position and direction of devices based on general user expectations and stereotypes. Population stereotypes are cognitive structures that contain the perceiver's knowledge, beliefs, and expectations about human groups. In this paper, the stereotypes that people typically expect when manipulating 'cylindrical key-in-knob locks' and 'lever-type water faucet handles' were investigated and data regarding their expectations were collected. Methods: Two sets of 600 participants, between 13 and over 60 years old, were recruited for the experiment. Each group was evenly subdivided into six age groups. Each participant was presented with cylindrical door locks mounted on a miniature door and actual lever-type water faucet handles mounted on a mockup sink. Results: If the cylindrical lock was positioned 'vertically,' 59.2% of the participants expected the device to be locked, and if the lever type faucet handle was positioned 'up,' 63.0% of the participants expected the device to be turned on. Thus, daily-use devices should be designed consistent with user expectations of operation. There was a significant difference between genders for manipulating the faucet handle between up and down. Conclusion: A more general stereotype may be defined by repetitive measurements under the same test conditions with fixed time intervals, as well as accounting for people with cognitive problems.

  • 문이라는 것은 우리가 살면서 매일 열고 닫으며 또한 재산을 지켜주는 가장 기본적인 것이다. 그만큼 우리 생활에 밀접한 관계가 있고 더욱 편리한 생활을 영위하기 위해 다양한 제품으로 개량이 되었다. 하지만 매일 같은 시간에 문을 열고 닫는 사무실이나 관광지와 같은 곳에서는 많은 문을 직접 돌아다니면서 정확한 시간에 열고 닫는 것은 많은 불편함이 있다. 이러한 불편함을 해결하고자 도어락에 시간이라는 개념을 추가하였다. 열리는 시간과 닫히는 시간이 정해져 있다면 그 시간이 기기에 입력이 되어 자동으로 문을 열리고 닫혀서 매우 편리하게 사용할 수 있다. 그리고 도어락을 열고 닫는데 있어서 어플리케이션을 활용하여 편리하게 시간을 설정할 수 있으며 시간설정 뿐만 아니라 바로 문을 개폐할 수 있는 기능을 제공한다. 그래서 우리는 스마트폰 어플리케이션과 통신을 하여 쉽게 문을 개폐하고 시간을 설정할 수 있도록 JAVA 프로그래밍 언어를 기반으로 구현하고, ATmega128을 사용하여 문을 개폐하는 동작을 수행하는 시스템을 C프로그래밍 언어를 기반으로 구현하였다.

IoT Open-Source and AI based Automatic Door Lock Access Control Solution

  • Recently, there was an increasing demand for an integrated access control system which is capable of user recognition, door control, and facility operations control for smart buildings automation. The market available door lock access control solutions need to be improved from the current level security of door locks operations where security is compromised when a password or digital keys are exposed to the strangers. At present, the access control system solution providers focusing on developing an automatic access control system using (RF) based technologies like bluetooth, WiFi, etc. All the existing automatic door access control technologies required an additional hardware interface and always vulnerable security threads. This paper proposes the user identification and authentication solution for automatic door lock control operations using camera based visible light communication (VLC) technology. This proposed approach use the cameras installed in building facility, user smart devices and IoT open source controller based LED light sensors installed in buildings infrastructure. The building facility installed IoT LED light sensors transmit the authorized user and facility information color grid code and the smart device camera decode the user informations and verify with stored user information then indicate the authentication status to the user and send authentication acknowledgement to facility door lock integrated camera to control the door lock operations. The camera based VLC receiver uses the artificial intelligence (AI) methods to decode VLC data to improve the VLC performance. This paper implements the testbed model using IoT open-source based LED light sensor with CCTV camera and user smartphone devices. The experiment results are verified with custom made convolutional neural network (CNN) based AI techniques for VLC deciding method on smart devices and PC based CCTV monitoring solutions. The archived experiment results confirm that proposed door access control solution is effective and robust for automatic door access control.

  • 스마트 폰의 보급이 사용자에게 다양한 서비스를 제공하여 삶의 편리함을 주고 있다. 특히, 스마트 폰으로 사용자 인증 후에 손쉽게 온라인 금융거래가 이루어지고 있다. 사용자는 PIN을 이용한 인증으로 쉽게 서비스에 접근하지만 그로 인해 훔쳐보기나 레코딩과 같은 사회공학적 공격에 취약하다. 도어락에서 비밀번호 입력 시 허수를 포함하여 인증하는 방법을 스마트 폰에도 적용함으로써 사회공학적 공격에 대한 보안성을 높이고자 한다. 도어락은 PIN을 단말기 내에서 인증을 수행하지만 스마트 폰에서는 PIN 인증이 서버에서 처리하기 때문에 PIN 정보를 안전하게 전달해야 하는 문제가 있다. 제안기법을 통해 허수가 포함된 PIN을 여러 개 생성하여 해시값과 같은 가공값으로 전송하기 때문에 전송의 안정성을 보장하면서, 노출없이 PIN을 입력할 수 있는 기법으로 안전한 사용자 인증이 가능하다.

신체장애인의 주거환경 개조에 관한 연구 - 인천시 주거개조 사례 27개를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Remodeling of Living Research about living environment renovation for disabled - Based on 27 cases of residence renovation in Incheon city -)

  • The twenty seven houses at Incheon city, were remodeled in 2009 for the physically handicapped people. This research had been done the analysis of the itemized questionnaire by the needs of the physically handicapped for their better living environment and suggested the following remodeling devices. First of all, there was the priority for the remodeling of their living facilities. According to their priority, they wanted to remodel their bathroom, kitchen & dining room, veranda, living room, and hall way. These were based on their needs of movement, personal hygiene, convenient closet, and cabinet usage. In particular, their demands were shown as followings. The wheelchair using handicapped people required safe doorknobs, unslippery floor materials, removal of step levels, and heights adjustable washing stand for their bathroom. They also requested washboard, non-threshold, and automatic door locks. Otherwise, the disabled in critical condition who could not move anything preferred the remodeling of inner structure of living spaces and automatic door system. The slight disabled and the families those who have the disabled demanded the remodeling of kitchen & dining room, and preferred the reorganization of closet, cabinets, floor tiles, and turncock. The remodeling of bedroom was mostly requested by the disabled women, people with the brain disorder, and disabled people in critical condition who could not move anything. They wanted the remote controlled lightings.

IoT기반의 스마트 도어락 구현 (IoT based Smart Door Lock)

  • 실생활에서, 우리는 IoT기술을 사용하고 있다. IoT기술은 다양하게 적용되어있고 지금도 계속 발전하고 있다. 사물인터넷은 사물에 센서를 부착하고 실시간으로 데이터를 인터넷으로 주고받는 기술이나 환경을 일컫는다. 본 논문에서는 비밀번호가 3회 이상 틀릴 시에 기존 비밀번호는 초기화 되고 랜덤으로 비밀번호가 변경된다. 변경된 비밀번호 데이터는 사용자 혹은 관리자에게 앱을 통하여 푸쉬알람이 전송됨을 실현하고자 한다. 이는 WiFi를 통해 스마트 폰으로 실시간 데이터를 전송할 수 있는 아두이노 기반의 IoT시스템을 연구하였다. 그리고 스마트 도어락은 아두이노와 지문센서, 카메라 센서, 와이파이 쉴드, 안드로이드 스튜디오, 도어락 부품들을 사용하여 이를 구현하고자 한다.

머신러닝 기반 안면인식 기능을 포함한 비접촉 잠금장치 설계 및 개발 (Design and development of non-contact locks including face recognition function based on machine learning)

  • 감염 질병의 심각한 확산으로 인해 방역의 중요성이 점점 커지고 있다. 또한 방역 이슈가 없는 언택트 산업에 대한 관심도 늘어나고 있다. 본 논문에서는 등록된 사용자의 얼굴을 인식함으로써 비접촉 방식으로 출입을 통제하는 비용 효율적인 라즈베리파이 기반 도어락 시스템을 설계하고 개발한다. 우선, OpenCV의 Haar-based cascade를 사용하여 매우 단순한 특징들을 조합하여 객체를 찾고, 얼굴 인식을 진행한다. 그리고 LBPH (Local Binary Pattern Histogram)을 사용하여 이미지의 질감을 이진화하여 특징을 찾아낸다. 라즈베리파이 3B+ 보드, 초음파 센서, 카메라 모듈, 모터 등으로 언택트 도어락 하드웨어를 구현하고, 얼굴 인식 및 매칭 알고리즘을 포함한 소프트웨어를 기반으로 약 500장의 이미지 데이터를 학습시켜 실험한 결과, 최대 85.7%의 인식률을 보이며 사용자를 구분하는 성능을 검증할 수 있었다. 또한, Haar-cascade 알고리즘 성능의 광원에 대한 영향성을 파악하여 그 개선 가능성을 살펴보았다.

소리 선호도 조사에 사용하는 청음평가법의 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on Methods of Jury Test used for Sound Preferences)

  • Quantifying the perception of human is of great interest for the optimal characterization of the interaction of persons with their environment. The direct approach to such measurements is based on jury-test methods. In this study we considered which jury-test method is more efficient and exact way to measure the preferences for operating sound of car. Moreover we needed to research selection criteria of jury-test methods in accordance with the properties of sound samples. We choose two sample sounds; door locks which generate simple impact sounds and window lifts which are consisted of long and complex sound. For each sound sample we conducted two jury-test methods respectively and discussed about the results.

  • In recent automotive industries, fine blanking technology widely used in production of components with relatively thick gauges in brake systems, seat recliner, door locks, and auto transmission systems. Due to its advantages to obtain almost final product quality using fine blanking forming process without additional finish machining processes, consequently saving the production costs. In this paper we intended to develope the small sized module gear toothed dual seat recliner sector gear(0.5mm module) for car seats using fine blanking process which needed semi piercing with computer simulation and a lot of try and errors to achieve required accuracy and geometric quality. However through the some corrections of tool geometries with tryout test, we could get successful results.
