Object tracking algorithm of Swarm Robot System for using Polygon based Q-learning and parallel SVM

  • This paper presents the polygon-based Q-leaning and Parallel SVM algorithm for object search with multiple robots. We organized an experimental environment with one hundred mobile robots, two hundred obstacles, and ten objects. Then we sent the robots to a hallway, where some obstacles were lying about, to search for a hidden object. In experiment, we used four different control methods: a random search, a fusion model with Distance-based action making (DBAM) and Area-based action making (ABAM) process to determine the next action of the robots, and hexagon-based Q-learning, and dodecagon-based Q-learning and parallel SVM algorithm to enhance the fusion model with Distance-based action making (DBAM) and Area-based action making (ABAM) process. In this paper, the result show that dodecagon-based Q-learning and parallel SVM algorithm is better than the other algorithm to tracking for object.

Leveraging Reinforcement Learning for Generating Construction Workers' Moving Path: Opportunities and Challenges

  • Travel distance is a parameter mainly used in the objective function of Construction Site Layout Planning (CSLP) automation models. To obtain travel distance, common approaches, such as linear distance, shortest-distance algorithm, visibility graph, and access road path, concentrate only on identifying the shortest path. However, humans do not necessarily follow one shortest path but can choose a safer and more comfortable path according to their situation within a reasonable range. Thus, paths generated by these approaches may be different from the actual paths of the workers, which may cause a decrease in the reliability of the optimized construction site layout. To solve this problem, this paper adopts reinforcement learning (RL) inspired by various concepts of cognitive science and behavioral psychology to generate a realistic path that mimics the decision-making and behavioral processes of wayfinding of workers on the construction site. To do so, in this paper, the collection of human wayfinding tendencies and the characteristics of the walking environment of construction sites are investigated and the importance of taking these into account in simulating the actual path of workers is emphasized. Furthermore, a simulation developed by mapping the identified tendencies to the reward design shows that the RL agent behaves like a real construction worker. Based on the research findings, some opportunities and challenges were proposed. This study contributes to simulating the potential path of workers based on deep RL, which can be utilized to calculate the travel distance of CSLP automation models, contributing to providing more reliable solutions.

웹기반 온라인 기업교육의 성과에 관한 연구: L기업의 사례를 중심으로 (Effectiveness of Web-Based On-line Corporate Education: The Case of 'L' Company)

  • 본 연구는 L기업의 사례를 중심으로 웹기반 온라인 기업교육의 성과에 영향을 미치는 다양한 요인들과 학습효과 요인들과의 관계를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 주요 분석결과를 요약하면 지각된 매체풍부성, 정보제공 기능, 교수자의 태도, 지각된 유용성이 원격교육의 성과에 강한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 상호작용 정도와 화면구성은 성과에 부분적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 종합적으로 살펴보면 학습자들의 학습효과에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 부분적으로 고려하는 것도 중요하지만 전반적인 효과를 기대하기 위해서는 무엇보다도 종합적인 접근이 이루어져야 함을 시사하고 있다. 즉 원격교육시스템이 기업교육의 효과성에 기여하기 위해서는 학습자, 교수자, 설계 요인을 체계적으로 고려하여 재설계되어야 한다.

Mobile-based Educational PLC Environment Construction Model

  • 본 논문에서는 시뮬레이션 프로그램 리소스의 일부를 모바일 환경으로 전환시킬 수 있는 모델을 제안한다. 최근 제조업에서 PLC를 컨트롤러로 사용하는 스마트 팩토리가 급속하게 확산되고 있다. 그러나 PLC 운영 인력의 부족으로 운영에 대한 어려움을 겪고 있는 상황으로, PLC 운영 교육에 대한 플랫폼이 필요한 실정이다. 현재 PLC와 관련된 대부분의 교육 플랫폼들은 2D를 기반으로 하고 있어 정확한 학습이 어렵고, 일반적인 PC 환경에서 시뮬레이션 프로그램들을 원격 교육에 적용하면, 모니터 상에 많은 요소가 표현되어 화면 전환이 불편하다. 제안 모델의 실험 결과 일반적인 상황에서 프레임 저하가 없다는 것의 확인하였고, 요청 프레임에 따른 응답 시간은 평균 102ms 으로 학습자가 시스템 지연을 체감할 수준은 아닌 것으로 판단하였다.

  • We studied a CAI courseware model for distance education on network, with the use of Java language. Basic www files, contents of courseware, are constructed with html. Students and educator can access the preferred unit composed of the appropriate multimedia data by using of www browser at any time. The distance education system, in this paper, has functions to manage the flow of distance learning, and to offer interaction between students and system in distributed environment. Students and/or 'educator can discuss a topic through server in different places. We implemented these functions, which are required in server and client environment of distance education, with the use of Java.

비대면 강의 운영 전략: 온라인 창업수업을 중심으로 (Analyzing Offline and Online Entrepreneurship Course Outcomes and Remote Education Strategy)

  • Distance learning has become an efficient tool and is being widely used at work and in school. This research presents the results of a project-oriented entrepreneurship course taught both in classroom and online for a period of 3 years before and after the pandemic caused by COVID-19. Despite the various challenges, the outcome demonstrated that the students were able to attain required knowledge and capabilities in the online learning environment. As such, this paper discusses effective ways to blend in distance learning components so that both instructors and students can benefit from Internet-based education technologies. In the future, both face-to-face and virtual project work and study are likely to get integrated into a 'hyflex' class, which is flexible, on-offline education.

  • In contemporary education, the rapid advancement of digital technologies elevates demands for integrating the latest tools into the learning process. Mathematical analysis, as a discipline, benefits from computer mathematics in distance education, enhancing practical aspects and enabling individualized learning. This article addresses the integration of the Maple computer mathematics system into higher education, specifically in teaching "Mathematical Analysis." Emphasizing its role in distance learning, computer mathematics optimizes the educational environment, reducing the time required for knowledge acquisition. The article showcases the application of Maple in finding extremum points and introduces an educational software simulator, enabling students to practice the method. The simulator, developed within Maple, facilitates self-checking and enhances the study of functions. Conclusions drawn from the study highlight the positive impact of these tools on distance education, affirming Maple's role in enhancing professional training and information culture among higher education students.

  • Unplanned growth of the city was established, despite many elementary, School facilities outside the city is still lacking. Basically should be able to walk to school through elementary school in the case of excessive distance, issues such as unsafe in the school environment and the school, overcrowding, excessive relieve classroom learning environment, with the improvement of the overall situation is necessary. In this study, the status for local public elementary school environment, research and analysis, case studies, research, and through community and resolve problems derived as a school bus for the introduction of alternative feasibility analysis.

  • 본 논문에서는 군집로봇시스템에서 목표물 추적을 위하여 SVM을 이용한 12각형 기반의 Q-learning 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안한 알고리즘의 유효성을 보이기 위해 본 논문에서는 여러 대의 로봇과 장애물 그리고 하나의 목표물로 정하고, 각각의 로봇이 숨겨진 목표물을 찾아내는 실험을 가정하여 무작위, DBAM과 AMAB의 융합 모델, 마지막으로는 본 논문에서 제안한 SVM과 12각형 기반의 Q-learning 알고리즘을 이용하여 실험을 수행하고, 이 3가지 방법을 비교하여 본 논문의 유효성을 검증하였다.
