There has been an ongoing symbiotic relationship between the history of the International Commission on Mathematical Instruction(ICMI) and the broader history of mathematics education since 1908. Similarly, the International Congress on Mathematical Education(ICME) has played an important role in the direction of Mathematics education since its first congress in 1969. ICME-12 is due to be held in Seoul, Korea from July $8^{th}$ to $15^{th}$ 2012. To date, there has been no research paper concerning the history of the ICMI published in any Korean journal. In readiness for the upcoming ICME-12, this paper aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the history of the IMCI from the perspective of Mathematics education.

This paper deals with disparities in course evaluation between general and major courses of mathematics education. We provide concrete evidences which verify the mismanagement of the evaluation system and can be an impetus to a more rational one. We indicate the direction to which professors of mathematics education should head. Also those statistics obtained from the author's teaching of mathematics education and related subjects for twelve years are provided for the fact-finding of and improving the erroneous evaluation system.

In the field of artificial intelligence education, discussions on the direction of artificial intelligence education are actively underway, and it is necessary to establish a foundation for future information education. It is necessary to design a creative convergence teaching-learning and evaluation method. Although AI experience coding education has been applied, the evaluation stage is insufficient. In this paper, we propose an evaluation system that can verify the validity of the proposed education model to find a way to supplement the existing learning module. The core components of this proposed system are Assessment-Factor, Self-Diagnosis, Item Bank, and Evaluation Result modules, which are designed to enable system access according to the roles of administrator, instructors and learners. This system enables individualized learning through online and offline connection.

Because of the social and political reasons, Chinese design higher education has come a long and difficult road. Before and after the Reform and Opening-up, Chinese design higher education system has gone through two different models: "Arts and Crafts" and "Arts & Design". By comparing external environment and Education Concept of two models, this paper points out that the correct direction of design higher education reform is to understand and learn the advantages of two education systems.

Objective: This study aims to analyze the research trend of domestic child care education, and to seek directions for future research related to child care education based on analysis results. Methods: A total of 91 theses were selected in journals released in Korea from January 2006 to August 2018. The analysis standards for the research trend were established as research period, theme, target and method. Results: First, the amount of research on child care education has gradually increased since 2006. Second, action research for improvement was the most common research theme for child care education, while activities utilizing fairy tales and picture books were the most frequently used education activities. Third, research that targeted five-year-olds accounted for the largest part of research. Fourth, when it came to research type, most research was based on quantitative research. Conclusion/Implications: Based on the analysis results above, the direction for the development of future child care education and relevant research was discussed.

This paper reviews the past of community-based health promotion program through public health center to suggest the direction of future. The Minister of Health and Welfare has implemented health promotion demonstration programs at 18 public health centers in September 1998. Health promotion programs were spread nationwide in 2005. Now, 251 public health centers have performed health promotion programs. Health promotion includes both actions towards changing determinants, within the more immediate control of individuals, including individual health behavior, and those factors largely outside the control of individuals, including social, economic and environmental conditions. Direction of health promotion programs in public health is divided into two categories: creating environment for healthy lifestyle and health promotion services. The result of this paper will be able to act as a guide for future operation plan in health center.

Most of engine control systems for helicopter turboshaft engines are equipped with dual sensors. For the system with dual redundancy, analytic methods are used to detect faults based on the system dynamical model. Helicopter engine dynamics are affected by aerodynamic torque induced from the dynamics of the main rotor. In this paper an engine model including the rotor dynamics is constructed for the T700-GE-700 turboshaft engine powering UH-60 helicopter. The singular value decomposition(SVD) method is applied to the developed model in order to detect sensor faults. The SVD method which do not need an additional computation to generate residual uses the characteristics that the system outputs in direction of the left singular vector if an input is applied in direction of the right singular vector. Simulations show that the SVD method works well in detecting and isolating the sensor faults.

In order to establish a conceptual basis and future research direction of safety leadership, this study reviewed domestic and foreign research trends related to safety leadership through systematic literature review methods. The literature search was conducted by combining terms related to safety leadership without limiting the period databases. A total of 195 documents were found, of which the final 59 were used for analysis. As a results, the safety leadership study was the most frequent in relations among variables. The most leadership types were based on transactional leadership and transformational leadership. In addition, studies have been conducted to categorize safety leadership as an independent concept. Safety leadership was mainly studied in the fields of safety engineering, disaster prevention, and business administration. Quantitative studies were mainly conducted to research methods. Based on the results, the research trend related to safety leadership was discussed, and suggestions for future research direction was presented.

The purpose of this study is to identify challenges related to social, economic and environmental change for fishing villages and suggest the developmental direction of fishing village to actively respond to new changes. This study mainly focuses on fishing village fraternities. Its current problems are summarized as follows: shortage of labor, population aging, entry barrier against newcomers, insufficient guidance and supervision functions, lack of funds of new projects and inadequate statistics and data. The fishing village community in the modern meaning of the term can be understood as an economic and flexible social-cultural community based on openness, cooperation instead of exclusiveness and closeness, which aligns fisheries with local industries. Thus, in order for the fishing village community to improve, the followings areas required. First, strengthening capacity of the fishing village community. Second, establishing the database system and the third, reorganizing the fishing village community into a sea village community.

This study proposes the direction of planning and designing for the media related facilities through the future concepts of media-center even though the concept and environment of the media-center are developed mealy at elementary schools in Korea. This study investigates and analyzes whether the present facilities are ready for the efficient education and improved facilities through comparison between after and before the 7th education program of systems of the academic support facilities. Therefore this study proposes the direction of developing and designing media-center through the field survey, make-up questionaries and analyzing architectural drawings of media related facilities for the future.
