에너지 효율적인 Wi-Fi Direct를 위한 동적 전력 관리 기법 (Dynamic Power Management For Energy Efficient Wi-Fi Direct)

  • 최근 모바일 디바이스에서 D2D (Device-to-Device) 통신을 가능하게 하는 기술로 WLAN을 이용한 Wi-Fi Direct가 떠오르고 있다. 하지만 제한적인 전력을 사용하는 모바일 디바이스 특성상 전력을 많이 소비하는 WLAN은 에너지 비효율성 문제를 야기할 수 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 Wi-Fi Direct 표준에서는 전력 관리 기법으로 Opportunistic 기법과 Notice of Absence(NoA) 기법을 정의하고 있다. 하지만 표준에서는 각 전력 관리 기법이 어떠한 환경에서 보다 효율적인지에 관한 구체적인 기준을 명시하지 않고 있다. 본 논문에서는 데이터 트래픽 패턴에 따라 두 전력 관리 기법의 성능이나 에너지 효율성이 매우 다른 양상을 보이고 있음을 ns-3 시뮬레이션에 기반한 다양한 실험을 통해 확인하고, 실제 데이터 트래픽 패턴 변화에 따라 전력 관리 기법을 동적으로 변경 하는 기법을 제안한다.

  • The main purpose of this study intends to study the theoretical interconnection between human response capability and customer relationship management advantage while considering the essential role of service application of information technology as direct, indirect (mediating), and interactive (moderating) influences in the theory. Based on the study sample, the new findings help comprehend the overall interconnected relationship which includes the direct and indirect (mediating) effects of information technology service capability and human response capability as well as their interaction (moderation) on customer relationship management advantage. The new insights interprets the two capabilities (human and information technology) are vital to business because they are the foundation set of service resources significantly to enhance customer relationship management advantage.

  • In order to reduce fatal accidents, a systematic safety management should be performed at a construction site. A lot of researches on direct causes of fatal accidents and indirect causes which affect the direct causes have been conducted for effective safety management. In the previous studies, these causes are considered separately because of the difficulty of recognition of indirect causes. It is also hard to measure the negative impact of these causes and notice their occurrence the perception of its problem. However, a study on identification of complicated relationship between these two types of causes is necessary since an accident occurs due to the chain reaction that indirect causes trigger the direct causes which lead to the fatal accidents. Therefore, this study proposes a safety management plan that considers indirect and direct causes of fatal accidents cases in the Korean construction industry. Then this paper suggests a plan of safety management by identifying major causes of the accidents.

Direct Share: Photo Management System Based on Round-robin Concept-driven User Preference Feedback

  • As the size of camera modules is decreasing and as the computing performance of portable devices is improving, taking photos has become a part of daily life. However, existing photo management programs and products that manage such photos still require extensive user effort to facilitate the sharing and browsing of images. It is especially difficult for novice users to manage and share photos. In this paper, we develop a round-robin concept-driven user preference feedback mechanism for achieving direct photo sharing, instant display, and easy management using optimized user controls and user preference-driven classification. Compared with commercial photo management systems, our proposed solution provides new features: optimized user controls, direct sharing and instant display, and user preference feedback driven classification. These new features boost the round-robin concept-driven user preference feedback. This paper proposes a photo finder that automatically searches for photos in storage spaces or cameras. The proposed photo finder relies on user preference feedback to share photos by leveraging user preferences, and the round-robin connection transmits photos to the family's digital photo frame or web album by arbiter. The proposed method saves time and spares users the effort required for photo management. Moreover, this method does not merely direct photo sharing and simple photo management, but it also increases the satisfaction level of users viewing the photos.

대학급식소의 운영특성에 따른 급식관리 평가 (Assessment of Food Service Management in University Food Service)

  • The objectives of this study were to characterize the food service managements in university food services. In a survey involving university food service centers throughout the country, the importance, performance scores and policies for food service management were investigated. Of the total 40 institutions surveyed, 23 were run directly by the institution, eight by contract, and nine by rental. Data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA using the SPSS program. Management system was evaluated separately for organization, human resources, finance, nutrition education, purchasing, quality control, sanitation and safety, and marketing for their relative importance, degree of performance, and policy establishment. It was found that the relative importance scored higher than the degree of performance and policy establishment. When rhe relative importance for the direct, contract and rental operations was compared, the rental operation scored the highest. Performance score of direct was the highest in direct operation. The findings of this research suggest that the university food service should be creative through systematic management, and further research is needed to evaluate various variables that influence productivity, such as employee morale, pleasant working environment, customer satisfaction, and introduction of TOM for university food services.

A Congestion Management Approach Using Probabilistic Power Flow Considering Direct Electricity Purchase

  • In a deregulated electricity market, congestion of the transmission lines is a major problem the independent system operator (ISO) would face. Rescheduling of generators is one of the most practiced techniques to alleviate the congestion. However, not all generators in the system operate deterministically and independently, especially wind power generators (WTGs). Therefore, a novel optimal rescheduling model for congestion management that accounts for the uncertain and correlated power sources and loads is proposed. A probabilistic power flow (PPF) model based on 2m+1 point estimate method (PEM) is used to simulate the performance of uncertain and correlated input random variables. In addition, the impact of direct electricity purchase contracts on the congestion management has also been studied. This paper uses artificial bee colony (ABC) algorithm to solve the complex optimization problem. The proposed algorithm is tested on modified IEEE 30-bus system and IEEE 57-bus system to demonstrate the impacts of the uncertainties and correlations of the input random variables and the direct electricity purchase contracts on the congestion management. Both pool and nodal pricing model are also discussed.

국내기업과 외국인직접투자(FDI)기업의 경영 몇 기술혁신 성과 비교 (The Comparison on Firm's Management and Innovation Performance According to Foreign Direct Investment)

  • 세계 각국은 과거부터 경제성장과 성장동력의 확보를 위해 꾸준히 외국인직접투자를 유치해왔으며 이는 우리나라도 예외가 아니다. 실제로, 각종 정책적 지원을 통해 양질의 투자를 유치하고 있고, 정부차원에서도 하나의 성과로 홍보하고 있다. 기존의 연구가 대부분 국가경제적 차원에서 외국인직접투자의 성과를 분석하고 있는 것에 그치고 있는 것에 착안, 본 연구는 이러한 외국인직접투자가 기업의 경영성과와 혁신성과에 긍정적인 효과를 미칠 것으로 가정하고 PSM 방법을 통해 실증분석을 하였다. 분석결과 매칭 전에는 외국인직접투자가 경영성과와 혁신성에 모두 양(+)의 효과를 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 매칭 후에는 모두 통계적 유의성을 상실하여 외국인직접투자가 기업에 미치는 긍정적인 효과가 생각보다 부진하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 분석결과는 정부의 외국인직접투자 인센티브 효과가 기대했던 것에 비해 적으며, 추후 정책에 대한 개선이 필요한 것으로 판단할 수 있다.

  • In spite of the increase of the necessity and the interest regarding the SCM in practical business, it is difficult to judge the whole situation of the SCM because the research remain fragmentary as compared with the huge and complicated concept of the SCM. So this study defines dimension of SCM practice and measurements of SCM performance. Through an extensive literature review, the study Identifies seven dimension of SCM practice(partnership, usage of IT tools, information sharing and information quality), five measurements of SCM performance(supply chain flexibility, supply chain integration, customer responsiveness, supplier performance, and partner relationship). Five hypotheses were formulated for the relationship between SCM practice and SCM performance. The important relationships to be tested include ; (1) the direct impact of usage of IT tools on the partnership (2) the direct impact of partnership on the information sharing and information quality (3) the direct impact of SCM practice on the performance of SCM, (4) A moderating effect of top management support on the relationship between SCM practice and SCM performance.

  • This paper discussed about creativity and knowledge management variables as for effect factors on the management performance of IT service firms. Specially the mediation effects of knowledge management variables between the creativity and management performance were examined. To prove empirically the related hypothesis, the statistical analysis were based on the response from the 160 Korean IT Service firms. As an analysis results, it was found that the creativity of organizations was not the direct effector on the management performance. But the virtue of knowledge which are accumulated from knowledge management activity and shared in organizations was the direct effector. Also, the knowledge management activity is mediator on the in the relationship between the creativity and management performance. So this paper suggests that knowledge management activity and knowledge's virtue in the related the creativity in organizations are the important mediate factors for enhancement of IT service firm's performance.
