여성 창업가의 성공과 혁신활동에 대한 사례 연구 : 스타트업을 중심으로 (Case Study on Success and Innovation Activities of Women Entrepreneurs: Focusing on Startups)

  • 여성의 사회 및 경제 활동 참여가 국가 발전에 중요한 요소로 인식되고 있다. 창업 대중화, 디지털 전환, 위코노미 트렌드는 여성이 창업에 도전할 수 있는 기회의 장벽을 낮추었으며 여성기업이 보다 빠르게 성장할 수 있는 환경을 제공하고 있다. 본 연구는 최근에 변화하고 있는 기업의 경영 환경, 여성 창업의 성공 영향요인, 혁신활동을 연계하여 여성 창업가의 성공 의미와 과정, 혁신전략과 성과의 특징을 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 여성 스타트업 중 투자가 큰 분야인 유통/서비스와 소비자 제품/서비스 분야의 4개 기업을 대상으로 사례를 분석하였다. 그 결과, 여성 창업가는 성공의 의미를 '개인의 삶과 일의 균형' 안에서 '고객과의 신뢰 관계 확립을 통해 기업의 가치' 를 만들어 이를 지속하는 것으로 인식한다. 비즈니스 생태계 측면에서 여성 창업가는 '소비자-생산자-판매자의 상생에 기반을 둔 기업 활동' 에 노력하며 성과 중심의 목표 달성보다는 '문제해결 접근 방식으로 과정에 집중' 한다. 또한 섬세한 관찰력과 유연성, 실행력을 통해 '변화하는 트렌드에 적응' 하고 있다. 혁신활동 측면에서 여성기업의 혁신전략은 '고객에 기반한 가치 창출' 을 우선으로 하며 기술혁신보다 '고객중심의 비즈니스 모델' 혁신에 집중하고 있다. 이를 통해 여성기업은 이윤창출의 양적 성장을 중요시 하는 일반기업과 차별화된 몇 가지의 특징을 보이며 '기업의 가치 창출과 지속 성장' 을 얻는 것으로 나타났다. 여성이 창업하기 위한 도전과 기회의 장벽은 낮추어졌고 여성 스타트업이 성장할 수 있는 생태계는 마련되었다. 그러나 아직까지 여성 창업가가 적은 이유는 무엇이며 이러한 갭(gap)을 어디서 메꾸고 접근해야 하는지에 대한 답은 결국 현장의 면밀한 조사와 분석에 있다. 엑싯(Exit)한 여성 스타트업의 사례 축적을 통해 성장 단계별 마일스톤 제시와 여성의 육아와 보육을 고려한 정책대상 세분화도 이루어져야 한다. 본 연구의 결과가 후속연구의 기초자료가 되어 여성 창업가가 경제 주체로서 성장할 수 있는 연구 기반이 되기를 기대한다.

영화 <이다>에 나타난 의미적 맥락의 시각화 (A The Visualization of Semantic Context in the Film )

  • 영화 <이다>(Ida, 2013)는 서사와 인물의 심리적 동기를 모호하게 하고, 선형적 시간성을 파괴하며, 다양한 기법을 통해 디지털 이미지의 조작 가능성을 상기시키는 현대의 실험적 영화라 볼 수 있다. 인간의 주체와 자아인식 변화 과정이 사회적 트라우마와 연결된다는 점에서 다른 국가나 사회의 역사적 맥락을 대비시켜 추론할 수 있다. 영화 <이다>는 화면 밖의 공간, 부재하는 공간, 여백과 프레임 안에 내포된 의미를 중심으로, 보이는 공간의 정보와 화면 밖 공간과의 정보를 나눔으로써 관객으로 하여금 제시되지 않은 정보에 대해서 추론하게 하는 능동적 인지과정을 불러일으키고 있다. 시대적 배경을 자세히 기술하지 않으면서도 역사적 의미를 시각화했고, 초월적 존재인 신과 한계적 존재인 인간 사이의 갈등과 고민의 문제를 인간과 인간의 갈등 구조 안에서 표현하고자 했다. 아울러 상실과 부재의 슬픔을 공간적 미학으로 풀어내고자 시도했으며 인물의 대비와 대조, 빛과 어둠의 대비를 통해 상황의 전개를 나타냈다. 본고에서는 영화 <이다>가 함축하고 있는 개인(인물)의 이야기와 사회, 역사적 배경과 종교적 영역을 아우르는 해석을 시도하고, 의미적 맥락의 시각화를 다루고자 한다. 또한 정체성과 역사적 사건의 재구성, 종교적 가치를 다룬 영화 <이다>의 시퀀스 장면 분석을 통해 그 의미와 특징을 살펴보고, 영화가 추구한 총체적 의미를 구체적으로 분석할 것이다. 이는 영화 <이다>가 내포하고 있는 트라우마의 재현과 해석 차원으로 개인과 지역, 국가적 트라우마를 안고 있는 문제를 다루었다는 측면에서 한국적 상황에 주는 함의를 고려해 볼 수 있다. 나아가 과하게 표현하지 않으면서도 인간과 사회적 성장, 고민을 잔잔하게 다루는 모습을 통해 새로운 영상기술과 독창적 시각화 기법의 영화를 창조하려는 흐름에 또 다른 영감을 주는 연구가 될 것이다.

사이버 보안 강화를 위한 한국형 미래 인터넷 추진 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Korea Future Internet Promotion Plan for Cyber Security Enhancement)

  • 4차 산업혁명과 정보통신 기술의 발전 및 코로나 19로 ICT 환경이 급변하는 가운데 설계 초기에 보안성, 이동성, 관리성, QoS 등이 고려되지 않고 개발된 기존 인터넷은 기본 구조 위에 기능을 추가해야하는 한계성 때문에 인터넷 구조가 복잡해졌으며 보안성 취약, 안정성 취약, 신뢰성 취약 등의 문제가 지속적으로 발생하고 있다. 또한 인공지능, IoT 등 첨단 기술로 인한 디지털 트랜스포메이션 시점에 안정성과 신뢰성을 제공할 수 있는 새로운 개념의 인터넷이 요구되고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 사이버 보안을 강화할 수 있는 한국형 미래 인터넷 구현 방안을 제시하기 위해 미래 인터넷 구현에 있어 중요한 핵심 요소를 분석하고 국내외 미래 인터넷 관련 연구 동향과 기술 적합성을 평가하여 한국의 사이버 환경에 적합한 미래 인터넷의 추진 방향 및 추진 전략을 도출하였다. 미래 인터넷 구현에 있어 핵심 요소의 중요도는 보안성, 무결성, 가용성, 안정성, 기밀성의 순으로 나타났다. 현재 미래 인터넷 프로젝트는 전 세계적으로 다양하게 연구되고 있는데 수많은 프로젝트 중 Bright Internet이 미래 인터넷 구현의 핵심 요소를 가장 적절히 만족하고 있으며 한국의 사이버 환경에 가장 적합한 기술로 평가되었다. Bright Internet을 한국형 미래 인터넷으로 추진하기 위해 기술적 이슈뿐만 아니라 전략적 이슈와 법률적 이슈도 같이 고려하여야 한다. 기술적 이슈로는 한국형 미래 인터넷의 표준으로 Bright Internet을 선정함에 있어 SAVA IPv6-NID 채택이 필요하고 데이터 센터 차원의 통합 데이터 관리와 국가 간 협력 체계수립이 필요할 것이다. 전략적 이슈로는 안전한 관리 체계와 운영기관의 확립이 필요하고, 법률적 이슈로는 한국의 개정된 데이터 3법과 같은 국내법 준수를 포함한 GDPR(General Data Protection Regulation, 개인정보보호규정)의 요구 사항도 만족시켜야 한다.

멘토링이 멘토의 직무만족도에 미치는 영향: 개인학습 및 자기효능감의 매개효과 (The Effect of Mentoring on the Mentor's Job Satisfaction: Mediating Effects of Personal Learning and Self-efficacy)

  • 최근의 4차 산업혁명은 디지털 전환에 따른 변화를 가속화하고 있다. 이러한 추세에 따라 기존의 창업 패러다임이 변화하고, 새로운 기술과 창조적인 아이디어에 의한 신규 비즈니스 모델이 등장하고 있다. 또한, 온라인 멘토링(e-mentoring), 역 멘토링(reverse mentoring), 그룹 멘토링, 다중 멘토링(Multiple mentoring) 등 멘토링 관계 및 환경의 다양성도 증가하고 있다. 하지만, 창업 현장에서 주로 활동하고 있는 5060세대 대부분의 멘토는 그동안 자기 경험과 전문성에 기반하여, 멘티에게 많은 도움을 줄 수 있었지만, 새로운 기술과 환경에 대한 이해도 및 경험 부족으로, 변화하는 환경에 대응하는 데 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이러한 변화에 잘 대처하기 위해서는 새로운 기술과 환경에 대한 이해도를 높이기 위해 끊임없이 공부해야 하며, 최신 기술을 습득하고 적용해 나가야 한다. 또한 멘토링 관계와 환경의 다양성에 대한 이해와 존중을 갖추어야 하고, 이를 적극적으로 활용하여 멘토링의 효과를 극대화할 수 있어야 한다. 그리고 멘토는 멘티의 성장과 발전에 직접적으로 영향을 미치는 존재임을 인식하고, 끊임없이 새로운 지식과 기술을 습득하여 전문성을 유지하고 발전시켜야 하며, 자신의 지식과 경험을 잘 정리하여 멘티에게 적극적으로 전달해야 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 멘토링이 멘토의 개인학습 및 자기효능감을 통해 멘토의 직무만족도에 미치는 영향 관계에 대해서 실증적으로 분석하고자 했다. 실증 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 멘토링의 기능 중 경력 기능과 역할 모델링은 매개변수인 개인학습 및 자기효능감과 종속변수인 직무만족도에 대하여 모두 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 심리·사회적 기능은 개인학습에 대해서는 긍정적인 영향을 미치지만, 자기효능감과 직무만족도에 대해서는 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 매개효과를 분석한 결과, 경력 기능에 대해서는 매개효과가 모두 확인되었으며 역할모델링에 대해서는 자기효능감의 매개효과만이 확인되었다. 본 연구를 통해 멘토링이 직무만족도, 개인학습 및 자기효능감을 촉진하는 중요한 요소이며, 멘토의 만족도를 높이는 요인으로 개인학습과 자기효능감을 확인하였다는 점과 멘토링에 관한 연구의 초점을 멘티에서 멘토로 옮겨 멘토링이 멘토에게 미치는 영향을 연구하였다는 점에서 학술적 및 실무적으로 의미 있는 연구라 할 수 있을 것이다.

스타트업 기업 육성지원 방안 연구: 딥테크(DeepTech) 스타트업을 중심으로 (A Study of Measures to Support Startup Company Development: Focusing on DeepTech Startups)

  • 국내 스타트업 생태계는 디지털 전환 가속화에 따른 창업의 패러다임 변화, 온라인 플랫폼 기업이 유니콘으로 크게 성장했지만, 딥테크 스타트업에 대한 차별화된 접근과 전략지원이 부재해 창업생태계의 활동성이 부족하다. 이에 이 연구에서는 해외 선진 사례(미국)를 기초로 국내 스타트업 육성 정책의 발전 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 연구에서 딥테크 스타트업의 정의 및 특징, 투자 현황, 성공 사례, 지원 정책등을 국내외 문헌에서 종합적으로 분석하고 시사점을 도출하였다. 특히, 국내 딥테크 스타트업의 지원 정책의 개선 방안을 구체적으로 도출해 발전을 위한 이정표를 제시하였다. 현재 미국은 딥테크 스타트업 지원을 위해 정부의 역할을 크게 강화하고 있다. 미국 정부는 딥테크 스타트업에 대한 직접적인 재정지원, 세제지원, 인프라 지원 등을 제공하고 있다. 또한, 딥테크 스타트업 육성을 위한 정책을 수립하고, 관련 기관을 설립하여 지원을 체계화하고 있다. 주목해야 하는 점은 미국의 대학은 딥테크 스타트업 육성을 위한 핵심적인 역할을 담당하고 있다. 미국에서의 유수 대학은 딥테크 스타트업 발굴 및 육성 프로그램을 운영하고 있으며, 연구개발 인프라와 기술을 제공하고 있다. 또한, 기업과 협력하여 딥테크 스타트업에 대한 공동 투자 및 사업화 지원을 제공하고 있다. 결과적으로 국내 딥테크 스타트업의 성장을 위해서는 정부, 대학, 기업, 민간 투자자 등 다양한 주체의 협력이 필요하다. 정부는 정책적 지원을 강화하고, 대학과 기업은 협력하여 연구개발 역량과 사업화 역량을 지원해야 한다. 또한, 민간 투자자는 딥테크 스타트업에 대한 투자를 활성화해야 한다. 이러한 노력을 통해 딥테크 스타트업이 성장하고, 한국의 혁신 생태계가 활성화될 것으로 기대된다.

창업 멘토링 기능이 창업의지와 멘토링 만족도에 미치는 영향: 오퍼스 창업교육을 중심으로 (The Effects of Entrepreneurship Mentoring on Entrepreneurial Will and Mentoring Satisfaction: Focusing on Opus Entrepreneurship Education)

  • 포스트 코로나 시대에 접어들면서 그 동안 움츠렸던 경제활동들이 다시 활발해지고 있다. 특히 4차 산업혁명 시대 디지털 전환의 기회에 따른 기술창업이 증가되는 추세이지만 창업 교육 콘텐츠는 기술적인 변화의 속도를 따라가지 못하고 있다. 본 연구는 기술창업의 수요 증가로 변화와 발전이 요구되는 창업교육 콘텐츠 중에서 창업 멘토링의 중요성을 확인하고자 한다. 창업 멘토링은 예비창업자와 초기창업자들의 창업 성공을 위해 전문 역량을 보유한 멘토가 멘티들의 수준에 맞게 맞춤형으로 성취 동기, 경영 기술, 문제 해결에 도움을 주는 행동으로 이미 대부분의 창업교육 프로그램에 구성요소로 포함되어 있다. 이를 위해 멘토링 기능 중 멘티의 창업지식과 자기 효능감을 독립변수로 설정하고, 창업의지와 멘토링 만족도를 종속변수로 설정한 후 교육생의 창업 여부를 예비 창업가와 초기 창업가로 분류, 조절변수로 설정하여 연구모형을 설계하고 가설을 설정하였다. 그리고 ICCE 창업스쿨 및 오퍼스 창업스쿨에서 창업 멘토링 교육생들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 실증적 분석을 진행하였다. 실증 분석 결과를 요약해보자면 첫 번째, 창업 멘토링 기능 중 창업지식과 자기 효능감은 창업의지에 유의적인 정(+)의 영향을 주는 것으로 분석되었다. 두 번째, 창업 멘토링 기능 중 창업지식과 자기 효능감은 멘토링 만족도에 유의적인 정(+)의 영향을 주는 것으로 분석되었다. 세 번째, 창업 여부는 창업지식과 창업의지에 유의미한 조절효과가 없다고 분석되었다. 네 번째, 창업 여부는 멘토링 만족도에 유의미한 조절효과가 없다고 분석되었다. 다섯 번째, 창업 여부가 자기 효능감과 창업의지 사이에 유의미한 조절효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연구 분석 결과를 통해 본 시사점은 첫 번째로 창업교육에서 멘토링기능은 초기 창업가와 예비 창업가 모두에게 창업의지와 만족도에 유의미한 성과를 내는 것으로 분석되어 앞으로도 모든 창업교육에서 멘토링을 적극적으로 활용해야 할 것으로 보인다. 두 번째로 창업 여부와 멘토링기능 및 효과는 대체로 별다른 관련이 없는 것으로 분석되었다. 하지만 멘토링을 통한 자기 효능감 향상을 통한 창업의지는 창업 여부와 유의미한 관련이 있는 것으로 분석되었고, 멘토들이 멘토링을 진행할 때 멘티의 창업 여부를 확인하고 맞춤형 멘토링을 하는 것이 더 큰 자기 효능감과 창업의지를 갖게 하는데 도움이 된다고 나타났다. 현재 국내에서 진행되는 많은 창업교육들은 편의성 등을 이유로 초기 창업가와 예비 창업가를 동시에 교육하고 있다. 하지만 본 연구결과를 통해 소규모로 진행되는 창업 멘토링에서라도 멘티의 창업 여부와 같은 세부적인 분류를 통해 맞춤형 멘토링을 진행하는 것이 멘티의 성공적인 창업과 높은 만족도를 위한 방법이 될 수 있다는 방안을 제시하였다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. Light and temperature distributions with depth were estimated by a computer model. The model demonstrated the influence of wavelength on the thermal process and proved to be a valuable tool to investigate internal temperature rise. 30536 T00401030536 ^x We investigated the structural geometry of thirty-eight Korean femurs. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. Results show the superiority of the proposed method to the conventional method using power spectrum and also its usefulness for the tissue characterization. 30541 T00401030541 ^x This paper describes the implementation of a computerized radial pulse diagnosis by aids of a clinical expert. On this base, we composed of the radial pulse diagnosis system in korean traditional medicine. The system composed of a radial pulse wave detection system and a radial pulse diagnosis system. With a detection system, we detected Inyoung and Cheongu radial pulse wave and processed it. Then, we have got the characteristic parameters of radial pulse wave and also quantified that according to the method of Inyoung-Cheongu Comparison Radial Pulse Diagnosis. We defined the jugement standard of radial pulse diagnosis system and then we confirmed the possibility for realization of automatic radial pulse diagnosis in korean traditional medicine. 30545 T00401030545 ^x Microspheres are expected to be applied to biomedical areas such as solid-phase immunoassays, drug delivery systems, immunomagnetic cell separation. To synthesize microspheres for biomedical application, "two stage shot growth method" was developed. The uniformity ratio of synthesized microspheres was always smaller than 1.05. And the surface charge density (or the number of ionizable functional groups) of the microspheres synthesized by "two stage shot growth method" was 6~13 times higher than that of the microspheres synthesized by conventional seeded batch copolymerization. As a previous step for biomedical application, adsorption experiments of bovine albumin on microspheres were carried out under various conditions. The maximum adsorbed amount was obtained in the neighborhood of pH 4.5. Isoelectric point of bovine albumin is pH 5.0, so experimental result shows that it shifted to acid area.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms.
