This paper studies an automation problem of a heating, a ventilating, and an air conditioning (HVAC) for the development of smart space. The HVAC system is described by the fuzzy system for the stability analysis and the controller design. The linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) conditions are derived for the stabilization problem of the closed-loop system under the analog control. Also, it is required to digitally redesign the pre-designed the analog HVAC control system in order to accomplish the remote control via web. It is shown the this digital redesign problem can be converted to the convex optimization problem with the LMI constraints. An example is provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

In this paper, a novel and efficient global intelligent digital redesign technique for a Takagi-Sugeno (TS) fuzzy system is addressed. The proposed method should be notably discriminated from the previous works in that in allows us to globally match the states of the closed-loop TS fuzzy system with the pre-designed continuous-time fuzzy-model-based controller and those with the digitally redesigned fuzzy-model-based controller, and further to guarantee the stabilizability by the redesigned controller in the sense of Lyapunov. Sufficient conditions for the global state-matching and the stability of the digitally controller system are formulated in terns of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The Duffing-like chaotic oscillator is simulated and demonstrated, to validate the effectiveness of the proposed digital redesign technique, which implies the safe applicability to the digital control system.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to reveal that digital Zakat has a role in economic development. Even when disasters hit densely populated areas in big cities, Zakat is distributed quickly and precisely. Research design, data, and methodology: This study uses literature studies with an approach to Islamic economics and sociology of society. The authenticity of this research is about the potential role of digital Zakat which can create sustainable economic development in slums. Result: The results of the study concluded that economic development in slums could be carried out if it collaborated with Zakat institutions which were carried out in several stages. The existence of sustainable solidarity is a serious threat in the effort to achieve development goals and this is very regrettable by almost everyone because it can increase economic inequality. Conclusion: Strategy development is obtained from empirical evidence, the construction of slums that have been carried out by other countries in various parts of the world who also have the same problem. Although statistically not analyzed the relationship between the potential for Zakat and the level of welfare of densely populated settlements, theoretically digital Zakat can be one of the pillars to achieve community welfare through the distribution of Zakat.
As the untact culture spreads, the digital divide, which is a problem of access to digital information for the vulnerable, can appear as information inequality in various fields, including the social and cultural field. This study identified the digital divide level for the vulnerable population and analyzed the effects of information accessibility, demographic and social characteristics, and physical and mental health characteristics on the information level. As a result, the higher the accessibility of information, the smaller the digital divide and the greater the digital utilization, so it is necessary to increase the accessibility of information devices and increase the ability to utilize them. In addition, the higher the age, the more women than men, and the lower the income level, the greater the digital divide, so it is necessary to increase digital capabilities through detailed class-specific programs for the vulnerable. Finally, it was found that the digital divide and the level of digital literacy had a significant effect on the life satisfaction and daily life satisfaction of the vulnerable. The expansion of competency-building education programs to enhance information utilization capabilities by changing the paradigm to a digital inclusion policy should be continuously operated.
This study empirically analyzes the impact of digital divide between digital device usage motivation and operational skills on online political participation. The analysis was performed using the National Information Society Agency's 2018 digital divide survey data from September to December 2018 and applying the Heckman selection model to control the sample selection bias that may occur between internet users and non-users. The result shows the gap in motivation and device operational skills of individual citizens using digital devices has significant impact on online political participation. In socio-economic terms, it shows the age, education level and regional factors also have significant impact on online political participation, while gender and income levels do not. This study holds significance in that there are different patterns of digital divide between digital devices, identifying the motivation to use a digital device as an important factor for mobile device users, and the device operational skills, for personal computer users.
The ability to use ICT is now a prerequisite for living in the information age, and digital literacy, which can access and utilize various digital information such as online banking, shopping, news, and health care, is more important. It is increasing. Accordingly, the social inequality, or digital divide, related to accessing and accepting digital information and knowledge is also an important social issue. In particular, the digital divide by age is becoming a major issue, not only in terms of resolving social imbalances but also in resolving the structural problems of the economy in addition to the survival of the elderly. This study aims to find ways to resolve the digital gap of the elderly in terms of socioemotional selectivity theory and suggests the reasons for the elderly's less access to digital information acquisition and the implications for the solution.
The current notion of digital divide is quite different from the traditional definition of digital divide. People have considered that digital divide and social capital are separated notions and are not related with each other. However, in this current information society, the digital divide affects the process of building social capital, and thus these two concepts have become closely related with each other. Now, the notion of digital divide is combined with social capital theory and has created new social phenomena that multiple divisions of social structure. Information and Communication Technologies(ICT) plays important roles in this new social and informational environment. This research identifies the relationships between digital divide caused by ICTs and social capital. To investigate the relationship between digital divide and social capital, this research used datasets provided by the Pew Internet & American Life Project (March 2002 survey).

In the spring, 2020, the pandemic caused quarantine and all educational institutions switched to distance learning, which led to significant changes in the field of education around the world. It has become necessary to build its capacity to provide distance learning to protect education and create opportunities for more individualized approaches to teaching and learning not only during future pandemics but also during other possible issues, such as natural disasters, when a developed flexible curricula could be taught face-to-face or online. The article presents an analysis of distance education in the world during a pandemic, analyzes significant changes, and implements measures in the field of education in Ukraine and around the world. The role of public and international organizations in the implementation of quarantine in the conditions of COVID-19, which partially took over the functions of state and local authorities, is emphasized. The closure of schools under COVID-19 has led to a de facto deterioration in learning outcomes, so we have analyzed the effects of distance learning and digital inequality in the world. It is shown how the COVID-19 pandemic affected access to public services in Ukraine.
This study aimed to assess trends in the prevalence, treatment, and control of diabetes according to the socio-economic level in Korean adults aged ${\geq}30$ years, using the 2007-2017 Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey data. Socio-economic status was assessed based on the household income. Multivariable logistic regression and predictive margins were used to evaluate the adjusted proportion of diabetes prevalence, awareness, treatment, and adequate glycemic control. During 2007-2017, the socio-economic inequalities on diabetes prevalence were observed in both men and women. However, the gradient of inequality increased only in men (p for interaction=0.034). Diabetes awareness, treatment, and control did not show socio-economic inequalities or increasing gradients in both sexes. Monitoring of these trends should be continued, and further research on effective interventions is needed.
E-commerce is now a familiar form of commercial transaction, especially in the transactions between businesses. This online transaction poses a good deal of problems to the traditional tax system and administration. Realignment of tax system and tax administration in the e-commerce is one of the major topics on the International problem. In the area of consumption tax, they reaffirmed the destination principle. They agreed to decide the recipient's business presence and usual residence as the place of consumption. In the area of consumption tax, they reaffirmed the destination principle. They agreed to decide the recipient's business presence and usual residence as the place of consumption. Currently, the Korean VAT law does not have a basis for taxation on international transactions that are considered to be services. Considering the tax revenue loss and the inequality between domestic suppliers and foreign suppliers when international transactions are not taxed, the Korean Tax Authority needs to amend the current law.
