  • This paper is concerned with the implementation of auto-tuning positive position feedback controller using a digital signal processor and microcontroller. The main advantage of the positive position feedback controller is that it can control a natural mode of interest by tuning the filter frequency of the positive position feedback controller to the natural frequency of the target mode. However, the positive position feedback controller loses its advantage when mistuned. In this paper, the fast fourier transform algorithm is implemented on the microcontroller whereas the positive position feedback controller is implemented on the digital signal processor. After calculating the frequency which affects the vibrations of structure most, the result is transferred to the digital signal processor. The digital signal processor updates the information on the frequency to be controlled so that it can cope with both internal and external changes. The proposed scheme was installed and tested using a beam equipped with piezoceramic sensor and actuator. The experimental results show that the auto-tuning positive position feedback controller proposed in this paper can suppress vibrations even when the target structure undergoes structural change thus validating the approach.

Digital Sequential Logic Systems without Feedback

  • The digital logic systems(DLS) is classified into digital combinational logic systems(CDLS) and digital sequential logic systems(SDLS). This paper presents a method of constructing the digital sequential logic systems without feedback. Firstly we assign all elements in Finite Fields to P-valued digit codes using mathematical properties of Finine Fields. Also, we discuss the operarional properties of the building block T-gate that is used to realizing digital sequential logic systems over Finite Fields. Then we realize the digital sequential logic systems without feedback. This digital sequential logic systems without feedback is constructed ny following steps. Firstly, we assign the states in the state-transition diagram to state P-valued digit dodo, then we obtain the state function and predecessor table that is explaining the relationship between present state and previous states. Next, we obtained the next-state function and predecessor table. Finally, we realize the circuit using T-gate and decoder.

  • 본 연구에서는 다채널 디지털 보청기에서 적용될 수 있는 적응 궤환 제거 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안된 적응궤환 제거기는 궤환 검출을 위한 적응 노치 필터와 궤환 제거를 위한 NLMS (normalized least mean square) 적응필터로 구성되어 있다. 제안된 적응 궤환 제거 알고리즘을 다채널 보청 알고리듬과 결합하였다. 다채널 보청 알고리즘은 MDCT (modified discrete cosine transform) 필터뱅크를 이용하여 주파수 대역별 청력 손실을 보상하도록 구성하였다. 제안된 알고리즘을 포함한 완성된 보청 알고리즘의 성능을 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 평가하였으며 상용 DSP보드를 이용하여 실시간 구현을 확인하였다.

  • In this paper the feedback linearization of the valve-controlled nonlinear hydraulic velocity control system and the Implementation of the digital state feedback controller is studied. The C.inf. nonlinear transformation to the electro-hydraulic velocity control system, which transforms nonlinear system to linear equivalent one, is obtained. It is shown that this transformation Is global one. The digital controller to this linearized model is obtained by using the one-step ahead state estimator and implemented to real plant. The proposed method In this paper is easier to implement than other proposed methods and it is possible to control in real tine. The experiment and simulation study show that the implementation of the digital state feedback controller based on the feedback linearized model is successful.

개선된 직교투사 알고리즘을 이용한 음향궤환제거기 (An Acoustic Feedback Canceller for Hearing Aids Using Improved Orthogonal Projection Algorithm)

  • This paper is on an improved orthogonal projection method which can cancel the acoustic feedback signals in the digital hearing aids. Comparing with the NLMS algorithm which is widely used for simplicity and stability, it shows that this method has the improvement of the convergence performances, and has small computational quantities, for signals with the large auto-correlation as speech signals. This uses the improved orthogonal projection algorithm which reduces the correlation of signals. To verify the convergence characteristics of the proposed algorithm, we simulated about various input signals. The acoustic feedback canceller has a 12-bit resolution with 64-tap adaptive FIR filter. And we compared the results of simulation for this algorithm with the ones for the NLMS algorithm. By these works, it is proved that the feedback canceller adopting the proposed algorithm shows about 3.5dB more high SNR than the NLMS algorithm in the colored input signals.

  • A digital state feedback control method for the current mode control of DC-DC converters is proposed in this paper. This approach can precisely achieve interleaved current sharing among the converter modules. As the controller design and system analysis are performed in the time domain, the proposed method can easily satisfy the required converter specification by using the pole placement technique. The digital state feedback controller in the continuous and discrete time domain is derived for the robust tracking control. For the verification of the proposed control scheme, a parallel module bi-directional converter in a prototype 42V/14V hybrid automotive power system, which is a design example in the continuous time domain, and a parallel module buck converter, which is a design example in the discrete time domain, are implemented using a TMS320F2812 digital signal processor (DSP).

  • 본 연구에서는 일단앞섬 상태추정기(one-step ahead state estimator)를 사용 하는 방법을 제안하였다. 이 방법은 비선형 시스템을 궤환 선형화하여 등가 선형모 델을 구한 후, 이 등가 선형 모델에 일단앞섬 상태추정기를 구성하여 디지틀 제어를 실현하는 방법으로서, 계측할 수 없는 상태를 추정할 수 있을 뿐 아니라, 선형시스템 에 대한 상태 추정기이므로 다음 단계의 상태를 비교적 정확하게 추정할 수 있어서 궤 환 선형화시 요구되는 연속적인 상태 궤환에 근사시킬 수 있고, 직접 궤환 선형화된 등가 선형 모델의 상태를 추정할 수 있으므로, 변환시의 연산량도 줄일 수 있다. 이 로서 Grizzle이나 Lee의 방법보다 간단하게 궤환 선형화에 의한 디지틀 상태 제어기를 구현할 수 있었다.

  • 디지털 전치 왜곡기법은 비선형 전력증폭기의 역함수에 해당하는 디지털 전치왜곡 특성을 찾아 송신신호를 미리 왜곡 시켜줌으로써 비선형 전력증폭기를 선형화시키는 기술이다. 일반적으로 전력증폭기는 시간과 전력 그리고 온도에 따라 비선형 특성이 변하기 때문에 디지털 전치왜곡기법에서는 송신신호와 되먹임 신호를 주기적으로 메모리(RAM)에 저장하여 전력증폭기 특성 함수의 역함수인 전치 왜곡 계수를 찾게 된다. 하지만 적응형 알고리즘이 원하는 전치왜곡 계수에 수렴하기 위해서는 긴 샘플이 요구되는데 이는 많은 메모리를 요구한다. 본 논문에서는 전치왜곡 엔진부에서 짧은 길이의 메모리를 사용하지만 이 메모리의 샘플을 재활용하여 반복 연산 수행을 통해 긴 용량의 메모리를 이용하여 구현하였을 경우와 유사한 성능을 얻는 방법을 제안하며 이를 컴퓨터 모의실험을 통해 성능 비교 분석한다.
